Snake Oil did a SUPERB job for our son’s 1st birthday. The communication with Jesse leading up to the event was very approachable and clear. The day of service with Charlie and Ali were also professional and exceptional. We chose to bring our own liquor and they provided all the VERY delicious and beautiful mixes. They also had super fun add-ons like the edible graffiti for drinks (which was a massive hit). We sent them our invitation and they recreated a bar menu to match our theme, so thoughtful! They did have a minimum for a Saturday event, so we chose 4 cocktail mixes, an upgraded bar stand, graffiti art, and glassware. ALL WORTH IT! Thank you so much, you guys are awesome!

I did an event with Snake Oil Cocktail Co. at a private residence this past weekend and can highly recommend and will be using them again. From initial questions of "I dont know how much food makes sense for 20 people who are going to a multi-course dinner after this" to suggestions on which food choices were best, they made sure we felt great ahead of the event. The set up was efficient, considerate of the home we were in, and the bar itself was beautiful (see photos). They crafted a few custom cocktails for us, with our logo on them, talk about detail!. Our bartenders were fantastic, friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. If you are on the fence, just book them and know this is one thing crossed off your to-do list!

Snake Oil did an amazing job at my rehearsal dinner and wedding this past weekend. They were on time, professional, and organized. The bartenders were so fun and all of my wedding guests told me how much they loved them. Working with Snake Oil was extremely easy; they were very responsive and easy to communicate with. I've worked with Snake Oil Cocktail Company on both big and small projects, and they are great. During Covid, they helped us create a custom drink package that was sent out by mail. Each package included 2 drink mixes and custom recipes in addition to several other things. We sent about 100 packages out (over 200 cocktail mixes) and they gave us a good deal, let us pack the gifts at their office, and provided amazing customer service as we worked through various shipping, packing, and delivery issues that no one needed to understand before Covid. I suppose on a big order you can expect that kind of exceptional services. But this week I called with a teeny tiny order asking them to make a custom drink mix and recipes for my daughter's college graduation. This time I was ordering less than a week out, and only needed 7 cocktail mixes. Imagine my happy surprise when I got the same level of service and extra attention for this small order. I ordered online, and Jesse followed up incorporating her grad photo, custom drink cards with her name included in the drink title, and some unexpected extras. AND it will be ready in time for her party on Saturday. If you want great products and exceptional service, I highly recommend Snake Oil Cocktail Co.

We hired Snake Oil as the bar services for our wedding at the Skybox. We had previously been to a holiday party with unique cocktails a few years prior, we were excited that they were an option for our venue. They did a great job at our event. They were extremely nice and attentive. We had two signature drinks and two cocktail graffiti designs. They were a memorable part of our big day!

Great company! If you want amazing cocktails with exceptional service, this is the company to book! We booked with Natasha and had Nico, Tanaia, and Tiana at our events and they were amazing! We used them for a welcome party at our house and a wedding at Skybox last weekend and they did a fantastic job, from set up, service and cleanup...all perfect! Their spicy margarita is delicious, and they were really good at having a bunch of drinks ready to grab so the line didn't get backed up. I can't wait to book them again for our next event!

I love this company so much. My husband and I booked Snake Oil for our wedding in September, and it was one of the best decisions we made. They provided unique and thoughtful cocktails which brought the party to life, and they were efficient and professional to boot. Everyone we talked to was so nice and responsive with all of our questions. Before the wedding, we had a cocktail tasting where we chose 3 signature cocktails and omg.. it was such a fun part of the wedding planning process! It was a nice break from all of the stress. Each of the drinks was amazing and we had trouble deciding which ones to choose. Aside from being really tasty combinations, they span a visually impressive range of colors and garnishes. Our wedding was pretty colorful, so the colors of their cocktails really stood out and looked great in photos. We added on their cocktail graffiti option which included a choice of 3 designs that are put on top of the cocktail and can be consumed! You can have images, logos, graphics, etc. They also have a designer on their staff that can help come up with something that fits your vibe if needed. When I saw how all of the graffiti turned out, I was OBSESSED. It was exactly how I imagined it would be. We heard feedback from guests after the wedding that they were impressed with this touch. A lot of people told us how cool and nice the bartenders were to them as well. Our cocktail hour was outside, and Snake Oil was super helpful getting a second bar set up for that. We never saw long lines forming at the reception, and everyone always had a drink. After the wedding, so many people told us they loved the drinks - even our friends who are opinionated about their cocktails. I would definitely recommend hiring them for your event - AMAZING!

We booked Snake Oil as the alcohol vendor to our wedding at Julep. They did a great job taking care of our 170+ guest with our open bar. One of our favorite parts of wedding planning was picking the cocktails. We did this with our siblings and the Snake Oil team really made it such a fun experience. Included is the picture of our custom cocktail graffiti(art by @doodleism_) which impressed our guests and really provided that wow factor during cocktail hour. Special shout-out to Heather who helped us cater a package that worked both within our budget and still provided a wonderful experience for all of our guests.

We used these folks to tend bar for our company dinner at my home, and they did not disappoint. The company is easy to deal with as they shared various cocktail suggestions in advance and were quite responsive prior to our event. The two bartenders, Tony and Victoria, were very personable and made our employees feel at home. Folks who could not attend were quite jealous after seeing the pics. The cocktail graffiti is highly recommended. We plan to use them again for an event in May

Snake Oil is a fantastic bar service company! We hired them for our wedding May 2023 and they went above and beyond. First off -- the bartenders who worked out event were INCREDIBLE. They were having such a great time smiling and seemed genuinely happy at work. They were so kind and so attentive to all of our guests. We chose a customized welcome drink with our initials on the cocktail and they were a huge hit!! Drinks are awesome and their selection is broad so you can pick the price point you are comfortable with.

Highly impressed by this company. I was a guest at a holiday party event. They addressed the unique cocktail creations for our party. They did a fabulous job and created some delicious craft drinks. The guy in charge made sure all stations were well stocked and able to handle the crowd. They made sure everyone was pleased with their drink selection and offered a great choice of hard liquor and craft beers. Guests were thrilled, and I was happy to take their card to support via yelp review. If we ever have an event in the future, these guys are bookmarked for our needs. We hired Snake Oil for our wedding reception and were blown away! The drinks were fabulous and all of our guests raved about the drinks AND the bartenders themselves. They were even flexible in serving a specialty ancestral-based liquor that wasn't part of our original package. Please note that they are pretty busy in general so be cognizant of that prior to your event and be patient/call when you really need to reach someone. Highly recommend hiring this mixologist company--you won't be disappointed.

We found Snake Oil Company through TheKnot. What an amazing experience! We went to a tasting and they provided us with a selection of 11 hand crafted cocktails using the base alcohol of our choices with fresh garnishes and concepts. It was so difficult for us to narrow down their signature cocktails to just a few choices as they were all so tasty. We felt very comfortable with hiring them to bar-cater our wedding from that first experience. On the big day the Snake Oil team arrived right on time and got to work setting up. They had two different bars - one for cocktail hour and one for reception. The transition was nearly seamless and everyone was complimenting us on our drink selections. Our guests were largely a non drinking crowd but the flavors, colors and aromas of the drinks couldn't keep them away. The bartender had a comfortable and professional demeanor making pleasant small talk the whole evening. We will strongly consider hiring Snake Oil for our future large events.

My wife and I recently had a shared 50th birthday blow-out, and we hired Snake Oil Cocktail Company to run the bar. Once I saw their spec sheet, it was a no brainer. Then talking to Natasha to dial in all the details, it was clear they were not only professionals, but deeply understand the craft. This includes making stellar drinks, fantastic presentation, and providing excellent and friendly service in the process. Their "build your own" margarita options was perfect for us, and they were so accommodating with various requests I had to make the evening perfect. I will definitely hire them again in the future.

My husband and I hired Snakeoil Cocktails for our wedding in May and let me tell you... it was one of our BEST decisions!! All night our friends and family raved about not only the delicious cocktails but how great the staff was. They were all so nice and had such a great setup! Before the wedding we were even given a full tasting to choose our favorite cocktails for the big day... that was an experience in it's own & all of the cocktails were BEAUTIFUL. In addition to the bar service, Snakeoil was able to help with refilling waters throughout the night, they helped clear tables (brides if you don't have a full catering company for dinner this is something you should consider!), and also provided a coffee bar to go along with our dessert table. A BIG THANK YOU to snake oil and team, especially Saul for being so accommodating, always answering all my questions and for helping make our wedding day so extra special. The entire process was an absolute experience and delight. The amount of professionalism, quality and service that was offered was one that everyone that was part of the event noticed and commented about. Will was absolutely amazing, very personable, funny and focused. I've worked with Snake Oil twice this year and they have been consistently exceeding our expectations each time. They have the most creative cocktails, which they tailor to their client's theme/event. Staff arrives early to set up ... once the event begins, everyone bellys up to the bar and starts raving about the cool crafty cocktails. At our first event, they were able to create our company logo on our specialty cocktail. We provided the booze, Snake oil provided the mixes, glassware, menu, staff, and bottled water. Also, the staff are friendly and if you are hosting, they make it a point to keep in contact during the event and get feedback and/or just to make sure the host is well taken care of with drinks :) What to expect: 1. You'll work with their Sales Coordinator to go over event details, pricing, and such. We worked with Michelle Nakadate both times and she has been easy, efficient, and always follows up after the event date. 2. I highly recommend that you do a tasting :) the mixologist will create several options to try out and then you give Michelle your top 2 or 3 (or more). 3. Pay 50% deposit to secure the date and contract. 4. Start shopping for booze. Michelle recommended brands and quantity to purchase, which made it easy. 5. Pay the remaining 50% 3 days prior to your event. Then welcome staff onsite and let the party begin! Also, forgot to mention that their service is stellar. And they are very flexible. We needed them to stay and extra hour for our first event and they had no problems, and we were charged a very nominal fee. I highly recommend Snake Oil if you're looking for impress your guests and not worry about a thing when it comes to beverages for your event.

The virtual mixology class was sooo fun!!! Michele is so easy to work with and she doesn't miss a detail or beat. She makes sure you have a catered and tailored experience from beginning to end. My guests loved it! We had 10 people attend. It was so fun we did it twice!!! We had two different mixologist that taught us and they were both so knowledgeable and fun. The kits the five are high end ingredients and come wonderfully boxed. The drinks were delish and can't wait to make them again. I highly recommend this for all groups!!! Such a fun way to enjoy company and learn something new all at the same time. Cheers!

This review is long overdue. My husband and I got married in July 2018. Snake Oil was recommended to us by our coordinator, and I am so happy we went with them. They were very fast on getting us a quote and super helpful in going over packages and add ons. They helped us set up an awesome package and kept us within our budget! The bartenders at our wedding were so courteous and fast and all of our guests thoroughly enjoyed their drinks. They made our nieces and nephews special drinks too and they loved it! This is an example of a successful Yelp Elite Event -to-real-life connection. Since I was impressed with this company after seeing them at a few Yelp events, I decided to hire them for my own event. They did a GREAT job at my event. They were very professional. + They came a day early upon my request so that they could see the building and the layout of the event. + The professional attire and friendly behavior of the bartender really added an element of class to the event + The 'signature cocktails' were gorgeous and tasted amazingly + the toast was executed on time and very nicely The only things I think they could improve upon - the logo that was supposed to show up on the egg white foam didn't show up well and was the wrong color (we wanted pink or orange and got yellow)--- they need to practice with it before they arrive to the event. Thankfully this was just a business event, but if it were my wedding, I might have been sad. -The quote that was given to me did not include tax, tip and fees, so I unknowingly went way over my budget for the event. It would be best if they could give the bottom line number when quoting you. So, overall, I would recommend them for your event if you are looking to add something special to it. My event was to celebrate a surprise gifting to the attendees and it was supposed to feel like a celebration and make them feel special... and it did just that! Just be sure you get the right price and the they test the logo if they are doing that for you. Happy partying!

We worked with Snake Oil for our office Holiday Party, and we are extremely happy with their services. We worked with Jessica from start to finish, and she was an absolute pleasure to work with. From the very first planning stages to the day of the event, Jessica has been extremely responsive, prompt, and helpful. We went back and forth with several changes throughout the planning process, and Jessica did not skip a beat. She had updated menus, creative drink options and suggestions, and updated pricing extremely quickly, which made everything run so smoothly. We never had to follow up or worry about any details being missed. We chose to do the Cocktail Graffiti for our signature welcome cocktail, and this was a huge hit! Not only did the cocktail look impressive to our guests, but it was absolutely delicious and we had so many people at our party commenting on how much they loved it. On the night of our event, Jessica and her team were on time and fully set up and ready to go early. We had 4 different bar stations with different signature cocktails, so we had a decent amount of bar staff. All of the bar stations were set up to look very nice, and had signs at each station with the cocktails listed. The bar staff was outstanding - they were all professional, friendly, and skilled. You could tell they all genuinely enjoyed working for this company and working in this industry. They brought a great energy to the party with their friendly and knowledgeable personalities and professional dress. All of the cocktails were top notch, and we really appreciated the attention to detail - the creative garnishes, beautiful glasssware, and unique drink combinations all contributed to the overall experience. Top notch drinks and staff! We knew good drinks had to be a priority at our wedding and after reading so many great reviews we decided to go with Snail Oil. We worked with Michelle and she was AWESOME. We had lots of questions, changed the venue, invite count and drink options and she was so flexible throughout the entire planning process. We opted to provide our own alcohol which is such a great option they offer. They did EVERYTHING else. The bartenders were so friendly and our drinks were a highlight of the night. Would highly recommend Snake Oil for your wedding/any event!! From start to finish, they were absolutely amazing. Michelle worked with us on booking the package that was best & most affordable for us. It seemed like my husband and I were always requesting tweaks here and there up until the wedding (because we are indecisive!) but she was more than happy to accommodate us every step of the way. Our cocktail tasting was also absolutely amazing and it was so hard to choose our 2 signature cocktails! Our guests ended up loving the ones we chose (orange fallurnum mule & a dragonfruit cocktail) and raved about them all night! We also loved the cocktail grafitti we had during our cocktail hour! The two bartenders we had at the wedding were absolutely amazing, kind, and danced to the music while behind the bar. They were a hit! If I could give 10 stars I would.

As The Director of Engagement and Events for the San Diego International Film Festival I have worked with several food & beverage companies (more then I can count) and Snake Oil Cocktails was nothing short of perfection. From their staff/mixologists (I worked with Lindsey on their staff, amazing) to their beverage recipes & presentation, everything went exactly as planned and was beautiful. Here's my experience with Snake Oil Cocktail Company: The supervisor, Jessica, in charge of working with my event was beyond amazing! She kept constant contact and provided me with all the information I needed to know and answered all my questions promptly. My party had several changes, and Snake Oil was more than accommodating in revising my account to fit my needs. I appreciate the time she took to prioritize my event. Thank you Jessica for your attentive service and prompt responses! She even directed me to an alcohol I couldn't find (you're a lifesaver!!) At the time of the party, the bartenders arrived exactly on time (even a few minutes early) to setup. They weren't familiar with the event location and space was limited, however the girls showed great ingenuity in moving the space around and setting up in the perfect position. They set up quickly and made the bar look beautiful. And...Oh boy... the drinks... the drinks were out of this world ( & gorgeous) ! Ive been to many parties that offer drinks, but I don't think I realized how good a cocktail and mixed drinks could taste from professionals! Oof, my guests and I were feeling pretty good all night! There were a few liquors I wasn't sure what to mix with, but the bartender made me a few drinks of her own creation that were excellent! The bartenders maintained great service by going around tables and clearing drinks AND plates which I appreciated a lot. Once the party started to wind down, they cleaned down so quick, I didn't even notice! They were fast, friendly, and efficient from the start to the end of my event! I am beyond impressed with Snake Oil Company. As a business owner myself, I can see how well trained and knowledgeable your staff is. You guys made my mom's 50th celebration so fun! We had Snake Oil Cocktails bartend for our wedding, and they absolutely blew it out of the park! The two signature cocktails we picked were such a hit with all our friends and family! They've been talking about them for weeks! We also tried many others for our tasting, and it was such a hard choice because of how delicious every single one was! Plus, the presentation was beautiful for all of them! I can only hope we get to attend a wedding in the future where they bartend so we can enjoy them again!

We were stuck between 2 beverage vendors for our wedding reception and ended up choosing SOCC because of their professionalism and overall look. We did the BYOB package without signature drinks which allowed us to "bring our own booze" with advanced notification for the bartenders to serve to the guests ALL NIGHT. Yes. Open bar. All. Night. Long. We wanted our guests to not worry about having to pay for their drinks through the night and celebrate with us. SOCC doesn't just pour you a shot or glass but they also add in edible flowers and garnishes to amp up their presentation, even for soda. Plus they also provided juice and Bundaberg ginger beer (which is like premium ginger ale to those not in the know). They also can make suggestions on how many bottles of wine, liquor, liqueur, etc. to buy for your number of guests. No more guessing if you have too little or too much which helps in any budgeting. So I say again that you've come to the right place in choosing SOCC as your liquid vendor with affordable drink packages.

As you can probably tell from all the 5-star reviews, this cocktail company is the place to go. We used them for our 150 guest wedding this past week, and they were AWESOME. We had the couple's custom cocktail package since we had a speakeasy theme, and we provided the bulk alcohol (thanks Costco), and let me just say that the budget we worked with and the quality and quantity of drinks were stellar. There were no hitches the entire night, the cocktails looked as good as they tasted with little garnishes such as lavender sprigs and flower petals, and they were on the ball the entire time. Were we to do another event, we would use them without hesitation. We highly recommend them!

Alejandra at Snake Oil was amazing. My son had his wedding at Cabrillo National Monument and we needed to provide the alcohol and soft drinks. They took care of the necessary permit, coordination with Elegant Events Catering (who were fantastic as well) and the park. They arrived on time, looked professional and handled the crowd with ease. Way to go, Snake Oil. I would hire them without hesitation in the future.

I was first introduced to Snake Oil Cocktail Company through the San Diego Tourism Authority Industry Cruise. When I needed to host two VIP events this year, they were my "go-to" company for bar services. I appreciate Brittany Matthews responsiveness to emails and phone calls - plus her very positive customer service. The bar staff at both events were amazing! They got to know the event they were there for, always had smiles, and chatted with our guests. Snake Oil impressed our guests and made my planning SO much easier!

Best experience ever!!! I had been to a party that Snake Oil bartended so when it came to my 40th birthday I had to have them. Chris & Will were our bartenders and I loved them. They went above and beyond helping us and the guests. The cocktails were a hit! Highly recommend this company. The whole process was so easy to setup as well!

Planned a last minute event and Matthew came in to save the day! From start to finish he made this process so effortless and fun. The bartenders were personable, fun and excited to be there. The cocktails (Picnic punch and Eye of the Tiger) were AMAZING!!!!! Excited to work with them again! 10/10 recommend!

We recently used Snake Oil for our 100-guest wedding in Pioneertown and were really happy with our experience. The sales process was really lovely. They worked with us on what made the most sense for our event and budget. We really wanted some very specific beers that are personal favorites and Snake Oil made them happen for us. Their personal event portal is also super easy to use. So it made reviewing our event details and submitting payments simple and hassle-free. And of course the drinks themselves were fantastic. Our guests kept coming up to us and telling us how much they enjoyed the craft cocktails. So overall...great service! Great drinks! Great all-around!

Crafty and unique cocktails! I've tasted Snake Oil concoctions on a few different occasions and these are the most creative cocktails I've tried while attending social events. The drinks are never sweet, mostly light and refreshing, the blend of ingredients is sometimes unexpected but the final result taste delicious!

Snake Oil is absolutely outstanding. We used their services for our wedding in early December at a venue called BRICK at Liberty Station. We worked with Michelle, and she is truly an incredible person. I was blown away by her patience with me. I took forever to pull the trigger and request a contract, but she patiently checked in every few weeks, was never pushy, and always willing to help answer final questions. We ended up using them for bartending service, a custom cocktail, and their service in which they provide cups, garnish, mixers, water, etc. We supplied alcohol, with guidance on quantity to purchase and style from Michelle. Here's a big thing for me- I don't feel like we were some crazy big-spenders with Snake Oil. We chose a modest and affordable package, and bought our own booze. But Michelle and her team made us feel super important. They were flexible, and went above and beyond routinely. That means a great deal to me, especially when you're planning a big life event and are juggling lots of pieces. I would recommend Snake Oil to everyone and anyone- whether their event is corporate or social in nature. We were so grateful for their services.

They have been the bartenders at a few events I attended and the staff is always very friendly and professional. This time, I tried the strawberry fields drink at an event and it was absolutely refreshing and complemented the food that was showcased. They had 2 stations set up, so I didn't have to wait long to get my drinks.

The best cocktails I am drinking lately come from this local company! I thought this was a brand from somewhere else, until I asked the mixologists last Saturday at the Mingei Fusion event. The offered The Vibe! menu and I loved the 3 drinks offered, especially the Palomita cachanilla (cachanilla tequila, cayenne infusion, agave nectar, pressed grapefruit and lemon and black sea salt). Not to miss! I am happy to see them at many of the events I am invited, because I know for sure I am going to enjoy a gourmet drink made with craftsmanship!
