The 14 Best Restaurants In Jackson Hole

"Known as “Jackson’s living room,” or simply “the pub,” Snake River is a gathering spot that’s always busy with locals and visitors. The brewery opened in 1994, and beers like Pako’s IPA and their pale ales have won a bunch of awards over the years. Outside, play a game of cornhole or gather around the fire pit with a beer, and definitely stick around for a meal. Order starters like smoked trout dip, wings, and wood-fired nachos, and then dive into elk bolognese, pulled pork sandwiches, or pizzas like truffle mushroom." - kristen pope

Google
Fun place to eat outdoors, drink beer with friends and the best part...we brought our 2 dogs! We are traveling with them, so always on the lookout for a good restaurant brewery that is pet friendly! Beer is locally brewed and delicious! We had the trout entree and the bison burger. Both were locally sourced and really good!

Google
The bison burger has a unique flavor, it’s good. The chili soup isn’t ordinary soup, it’s more like kind of dipping source. Don’t take false expectations. The fish and fries has good crispy fish and soft fries. It’s a chill place in Jackson hole.

Google
Great place to hang out for anyone but especially families. A large green space in front with chairs, tables, and corn hole. One of the brewers, Ally, talked to our kids for a while and showed them the wheat kernel that goes into the silo to begin the fermentation process! Inside, upstairs are foosball, pinball, and a few other games. Food was good - got the bison burger and it was a tad dry with meager cheese. But great flavors. The kids meals were yummy and well priced (all Mac&Cheese) with good portions.

Google
Great place awesome service, good food. Well staffed. We had a flight all good. Their Hefenwizen is really good, well spiced, like should be. We shared a Quesodilla and it was very good. They have a sour beer that is great if you like them. A couple good IPAs. I'm not a fan of Jackson Hole, but if we go through there we will be back. I like that it is not in the center of the crazy.

Google
My husband was super excited to find a place that served Filipino options! He really enjoyed the Filipino breakfast and the iced ube latte! The staff members were very nice and welcoming! It’s such a cute hangout area with lots of choices of coffee, pastries, and food!

Google
Watermelon salad with grilled chicken was good and refreshing. I was told the peanut noodles and steak tacos were tasty as well. Really nice outdoor area to hang out and have a drink or bite to eat. Service wasn’t the greatest..our waitress never checked on us after our food was dropped off and we needed to go up to the bar to get another drink. She also wasn’t all that knowledgeable about allergies and didn’t sound like she would check with kitchen, so be cautious if you have food allergies

Google
Cool spot to hang out and sip a beer. Additionally, we happened to be there during Happy Hour so we appreciated the discount on two excellent beers. They have very nice outdoor places to enjoy your time there too.

Google
I had a great experience here and loved the chicken sandwich that I ordered. Our waitress was super attentive, we got sat in our preferred area (outside opposed to inside), and the atmosphere was very lovely. Other guests brought their dogs and the waitress was even sure to bring water for the dogs. Great spot!

Yelp
Awesome spot! The beers were all great. All around a great vibe in a beautiful town. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area!

Yelp
We loved going here ! We chose it for two reasons. 1: my friend collects growlers 2. We wanted to watch the NBA finals game. They had both! Wish the sound was the game but that's a lot to ask. The only thing with our food we were disappointed in was the fries. They were pretty basic. We tried the regular fries and the sweet potatoe fries. However, all of our entrees were 10/10 My friend absolutely loved the peach chorizo pizza. He said it was one of the best pizzas he ever had had. Someone also got the Bison burger and loved it. He was nervous about the cranberry onion jam but he really liked it. I got the Roper and the brisket was amazing! Really loved it. Now if they can only get their fries to match.

Yelp
We flew into Jackson Hole late afternoon on a Tuesday. We were tired and hungry. Luckily this awesome brewery was a block from our hotel. Their Happy Hour is 1/2 off drafts daily from 4-6. Their craft beers are DELISH!!! My favorite is Jenny Lake. The brewery has an industrial feel with indoor/outdoor seating. A nice lawn area that offers live music (on weekends). We sat at the bar and had excellent service!! We ordered the Smoked Trout Spread that comes with flatbread. It was over the top delicious!!! Fast forward to Friday of same week. We tried several other places to eat around JH and nothing compared to the craft beer, food, and service we had at Snake River.....so back we went!! This time it was Friday evening and the vibe was dynamic!!! Lots of folks on the lawn enjoying the band. Cute pups everywhere. Even with the bigger crowd we had no problem getting seats and excellent service!! Shout out to Luke who juggled a million things at once with true professionalism!! We HIGHLY recommend this brewery!! We even bought T-Shirts as souvenirs for the incredible memories.

Yelp
Drinks only As our hotel was just around the corner, we popped in for some drinks. We were pleased to find a brewery accross the street from our Fairfield hotel. As we approached the hotel we could see that this was a local hang out- of course it was off season too- ski season was over and summer season had not started yet. So we go the true local vibe- which we loved! Prior to the entering the brewery, there is an expansive greenspace for kids to play in, plus tables and seats around fire pits. As you enter the brewery you are greeted with a wide variety of merchandise to purchase and the hostess desk. As you enter the dinning area- there is an l shape bar and plenty of tables on the main floor. On the second floor there are additional tables. We were just in mostly for drinks- they have a good number of taps. If you are not a beer fan, there are a limited number of cocktails on the menu and wines. The bar does offer daily happy hour with discounts on beer. As we had such a good experience with the staff- we found ourselves venturing there one too many times- and on one occasion we even sampled their prize chili which was nice! If in the area and you fancy a low key environment and some beer, this place is worth a stop to hang one on! Tip: The bar does shut down briefly between season so if visiting during that time check to see if they are open.

Yelp
Definitely Worthwhile During Your Stay in Jackson! Stopped in during a trip to Jackson, WY and was really impressed. I got the bison burger--really good. They also have a great selection of local and regional beers. The atmosphere was very cool--relaxed but lively, with a vibe that fits right in with the Jackson scene. Definitely worth checking out if you're in town!

Yelp
Big restaurant with lots of seating, even when busy. Both outside areas and inside areas to sit. All the food we had was excellent. I had the steak with a red chimichurri. It was cooked perfectly and was very tender and juicy. My son raved about his brisket sandwich. Actually claimed it was one of the best sandwiches he's had. My husband's bison burger came out over cooked and well done, but the waiter quickly replaced it with a perfectly cooked burger and hubby was very happy. For dessert we had the glacier brownie sundae, which was very rich and delicious. Highly recommend this place for food!

Yelp
Lots of variety for food and beers! Ive been here a number of times and love the burgers, fish and chips, and most of the appetizers are spot on with expectations. Service is friendly but wait times are hit or miss, as even when it's been slower the food just doesn't come out that fast and you can tell it's been under the heat lamp. Love the interior!!! LOVE THE OUTDOOR SETUP, and truly is a must visit in the warmer months and when events are happening around town!
google avatar

Yelp
Mid in every way: food, service, ambiance. The much-touted bison burger tended toward dry and overcooked and was "small and tall" on a much larger bun, so there was an inch of bread to get through before you got to meat. The beer is... competent. No complaints, but no wows. Service was reasonably efficient and pleasant (especially for it being height of summer tourist season). I wouldn't avoid this place, but I wouldn't seek it out, either. So meh I'm having trouble forming any definitive opinions about it!

Yelp
St. Patrick's Day Weekend at snake River brewing is always a fun time with a live band themed drinks and food and a lively atmosphere. I ordered the corned beef which came with apple kraut, and potatoes the corn beef was good the kraut was ok and the potatos were cold. I was expecting a more traditional corned beef and cabbage. I thought the service was good a little bit slow, but the waitress was friendly.
google avatar

Lana K.

Yelp
Nice brewery vibe with both indoor and outdoor seating. Food options that we had were good. The menu offers a variety of options: appetizers, salads, sandwiches, burgers, entrees and pizza. The beers are great! Sadly, the service was not at the great standard. There was not a check in after receipt of food, no water refills, nor other requests fulfilled.

Yelp
We stopped in for a quick bite for a late lunch after the spa. We are so glad we did, it wasn't busy, parking in the area was easy and it was a Saturday afternoon. I got a mushroom truffle pizza it was too much for me to eat but I did have two piece and they were amazing. They were the perfect balance of truffle and mushroom flavor. My friends got a sandwich and an Asian tofu salad. I didn't have a beer but they sounded delicious.

Yelp
Horrible service, food was mediocre, did get the trout dip, but it came with pita bread not the crispy everything but the bagel season crisps it should have. But the dip itself was the best thing we had. Would not go back, maybe if I just wanted a beer and enjoyed the outside. The Cobb salad had cold dried up chicken that I would not recommend and the burger was small with a large bun, watermelon salad was good but just a few pieces of watermelon. Overall I think the bad service just made it bad all around and the food needs a refreshed take.

Yelp
Incredible place. Awesome selection of beers, yes the IPAs are incredible! From a Yelp review tried the Roasted Beet Salad!!! Btw I hate beets!!! The salad was incredible! Beets were roasted and warm, with the mixture of grapefruit and candied walnuts went very well with the crab-balsamic vinaigrette Will be back

Yelp
Fabulous food, exceptional service, and great ambiance to bring the whole family. The Elk bolognese is an absolute must order.

Yelp
Three stars for the beer and the cider. One star for the food. The Hefe beer and cider were tasty. We ordered the Nachos with blackened chicken. 8 bucks extra for the few pieces of tasteless chicken. There was maybe a teaspoon of sour cream, guacamole and tomatoes. They were very busy. Service was okay but I wouldn't eat here again.

Yelp
First time at this brewery. Yummy beer, cocktails and food. Big place with indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered a few appetizers as well as lunch. The smoked trout dip was delicious. We had the grain salad, burgers and nachos. The service was great. Nice atmosphere. Comfortable and nicely decorated.

Yelp
Every now and again while traveling you stumble across a place that's reasonably priced, great atmosphere, phenomenal service, and quite literally the best dinner. That's not even taking into account their beer. We only had two different samplings of their pizza and the trout dip as an appetizer - but if we were back in the area (live ~20 hours away across the US) this would be the place to come back to. If we ever are back in the area without a doubt we'll stop back by here. 11/10.
google avatar

Ed S.

Yelp
This place is amazing! The pulled pork is quite tasty! You will want to order the pretzel and cheese. It's plenty to share among three people. I love how this brewery is in walking distance from the center of the town. We saw a deer on the way. So cool!

Yelp
Overall: We were excited to come here on a Saturday afternoon. We thought there would be a fun apres crowd, some good food, and good beers. Beers were the only thing that hit. I'd recommend just buying 6 packs. Food: 2 Drinks: 4 Service: 3 Value: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Food: I ordered the BBQ burger and my girlfriend ordered the 'Big Hole Burger'. My burger had potential, but ended up being pretty bad. The bacon on the burger was entirely covered in pepper. Typically pepper bacon covers the outer rim, but this was almost 100% covered. It overwhelmed all flavor of anything else. The normal burger was fine, but very disappointing that their additions made it much, much worse. Drinks: The beer menu was extensive and the two beers we tried were good. We even bought some extra to take home. Best part of our meal. Service: We were seated immediately. Our waitress was generally attentive, but she seemed quite overwhelmed. It looked like she was responsible for the entire upstairs, which was way too many parties for her. Good effort by her, but way too much on her plate. Value: The bbq burger was $22 and the normal burger was $18. Both seemed overpriced for what you got, especially the bbq burger. Beers were close to $10 each. Not bad, but cheaper to just buy it by the can downstairs. Atmosphere: We sat in the upstairs area, which is reserved for dining as opposed to the downstairs bar area. Both areas were dead when we walked in around 2pm, but the upstairs filled up with families towards the end of our meal. I thought there would be a much bigger presence. It was relatively quiet other than the kids running around the arcade games.

Yelp
A fun brewery with a great beer, selection and top-notch food. There was a sour beer there that I really loved, and my boyfriend got a flight that was fun trying beers from. I ordered the elk bolognese and it was delicious. It was big enough to have leftovers too - ended up making the best elk bolognese grilled cheese the next day. The buffalo cauliflower was also really good. The service was friendly and it's a bit spade with two floors and ample seating. It was great for our party of 7. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
Came for lunch with family. Wait staff was very attentive and made good recommendations. The hazy ipa is one of the best I've had. The roper sammi spot on. The sweet potato fries were soggy (eh). My sons had trout and chicken wings the cleaned their plates. I would come Back.

Rachel S.

Yelp
LOVE this place. Our server was so great and accommodating and so so friendly. We then went to the bar and talked with the bartender and manager about things to do in town and they were so nice and friendly. Ended up going here a second time during our trip and had an equally positive experience

Yelp
Another great spot for some casual dining in downtown Jackson. This brewpub has a great menu from breakfast to dinner as well as their regular selection of beers. They do offer some seasonal and specialty beers to match some of their bar food items. The place can get busy , but there's plenty of seating both inside and in their courtyard. Recommend trying a flight of their beers to sample...but if you like IPA, you'll like the "Earned It. And the Jenny Lake Lager is also a good one to try.

Yelp
Sip, savor, repeat. I was blown away by the incredible flavors and variety at Snake River Brewing in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The Wyoming bison beef chili was a hearty and had a delicious combination of flavors, perfectly complemented by the spicy chilies and pickled jalapeños. The bison burger was juicy and flavorful, while the noodle salad added a refreshing touch to the meal. The selection of beers on tap was impressive, offering a perfect pairing for every dish. Snake River Brewing surpassed my expectations and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch brew pub.

Yelp
We had a family vacation 2 years ago and had 16 of us. Snake River was just great for our family. They were very accomodating. I'm trying to make reservations for 7/1 for the same 16 of us. I hope they approve us in the private dining hall.

Yelp
We came here for a welcome party for a wedding and it was mostly outside by the fire pit. There's a large grass area, corn hole, a fire pit, patio, bar seating, table seating, and an upstairs area. The staff was little awkward at times but overall friendly. The tacos were very flavorful and I loved the green salsa. The fries with the burger with thick, which we liked. Bison burger was great but wish it had a little bit of something different - maybe pickled onions or a chipotle sauce.
google avatar

Alaina M.

Yelp
We looove Snake River. 3 years in a row it's been the first night stop during our trip to Jackson to get some beers to go for our week in town. Love supporting them. This elk bolognese is the best in town!! So good! Bison burger also a classic out west must try. Our waitress was super friendly and very catering to our group. Great brewery vibes, just on the outside of the main town square but walkable from most places in Jackson.
google avatar

Yelp
The beer is def better than the food. I've tried many dishes over the years. Never had an "amazing" food experience. I guess the beer is more important. Recently, ordered the Beef Short Ribs. "Braised short ribs, rosemary cream polenta, mesquite fried onions & red wine au jus". "Mesquite" fried onions? Does that mean smoky flavored? Not tasting it. I got it to-go, so I understand the presentation is not perfect. I expect Short Ribs to be "fall off the bone" tender. Not even close. I got 4 slices of a sinewy, chewy dry short rib on a bed of polenta with barely any sauce, and a small pile of deep fried onions. Basically one short rib. Stick in your teeth chewy. $29. Would be great if they served dental floss with it. I'll stick to their beer in the future.

Yelp
Snake River Brewing was one of our favorite places! The outside area with seating and games was awesome, and despite how crowded it looked like it was going to be, our party of 2 was seated without a wait all 3 times we went! They had delicious beers, and I discovered the highpoint cider there. We tried a lot of their food and all were delicious - the trout dip, pizza, burgers (appreciate the meatless option) and fries were all so delicious! It was a cool place to relax and watch some tv too, especially on the upstairs area.

Kristine D.

Yelp
So enjoyed the elk bolognese dish and our server was friendly. Fun environment and family friendly.

Lida S.

Yelp
When we are in Jackson we visit this place. I have seen growing through the years and the food and services have been always great! My favorite plate is the Bison Hamburger! It's juicy and the flavor is delicious. I have not tried the beers myself but my husband has , they are very good. It's a very casual place, you will love it. Enjoy
google avatar

Shirley D.

Yelp
Nice place, great ambiance, looks like everyone likes the brews. I ordered green salad, not much you can do to a salad it was basic and boring for $7 I would rather have had something better. No crackers no cheese or croutons. Just lots of spring mix and a few tomatoes.
google avatar

Erica D.

Yelp
Great spot in Jackson. We enjoyed the vibe. Food and drinks were good. Bonus that it is dog friendly.
google avatar

Sheree Z.

Yelp
Super mid. Got their bison burger and it was super bland. Their pizza were ehh. Really liked their wings and ambiance. COME FOR THE DRINKS, NOT THE FOOD
google avatar

Cam S.

Yelp
My girlfriend had chewed on some plastic in her beet salad, unfortunately. The salad was actually pretty good itself had it not been for the choking hazard. The beers themselves were okay at best. Independent of the plastic issue, and strictly basing this paragraph on my thoughts about the beer. I didn't really like their IPAs, I think they tried to lean too heavily on citrusy. The wheat beer was in fairness one of the worst I've had. I did like the Mexican Cerveza - which I thought was flavorful, and I'll give that passing marks.

Haylee A.

Yelp
Great beer! Thankfully, no issues getting a table on Saturday night. Food and service was good.

Jennifer C.

Yelp
The service, food, beer and courtyard area are outstanding! We were seated immediately. The server was attentive and we've never been served drinks and food so quickly. The food quality was exceptional. Burger was great and the brisket is fabulous. The courtyard is casual and comfortable. Surrounded by flowers and a grass area in the middle. Would come back all the time if we lived here.
google avatar

Merlin O.

Yelp
Great place to catch the FCS semifinal game between the North Dakota State Bison and South Dakota State Jack Rabbits at 10 AM, only place in town to watch sports that time of day. Rachel, the server is phenomenal. Had a Bloody Mary and the Red Flannel Hash, both exceeded my expectations. Places that have good food and sports on TV usually do not coexist, really great place!!!
google avatar

Anastazia V.

Yelp
We came for dinner one night and were seated immediately. Once the server came to our table the service was great. We started with bbq wings which were pretty good but lacking seasoning besides the sauce. We ordered the elk bolognese and bbq burger. The food was good and the cocktails were great and beer was good too. I prefer StillWest over this brewery but was a good meal and location.

Patricia T.

Yelp
Party of 10 seated immediately, wait staff attentive and personable. Excellent food and beer, great variety of food. Kids loved the macaroni and cheese. Nachos were amazing along with salads, steak tacos and spicy noodles. Thrilled!!!
google avatar

Michelle R.

Yelp
Hidden gem in the back side of town. Earlier this week we found their beer sold at a convenience store in Island Park. Little did we know we'd end up eating at their brewery! We were seated upstairs and everyone was enjoying Sunday football. The tables are crammed next to each other, so you might be getting cozy with your neighbors. Our server was friendly but distracted. It was hard getting his attention to order, to get a straw! And another beer and even to pay! I think I tried five times to get his attention. To be fair it's noisy and he had 5-7 tables, but it was frustrating nonetheless. Food was delicious! I had the trout and it had so much flavor. The pork belly mixed in with the vegetables was amazing and worth the $30. Stephen had the bowl of the bison-beef chili. It came with a generous cornbread. The beers were great and we took a few home too. Tip was automatically added to the bill. Is that normal here? I would give a higher score if the service wasn't so frustrating.
google avatar

Emma C.

Yelp
Loved the indoor and outdoor seating options and the views of the surrounding mountains! My meal was average, but that is brewery food for you, the trout dip was actually delicious though!
google avatar

Alma T.

Yelp
The food here was easily a 10. We started with the nachos which were surprisingly light and so tasty. My truffle mushroom pizza was DIVINE and my husbands pulled pork sandwich was fantastic. The beer selection was a good size and the margarita on the rocks was solid. The vibe was perfect with a view of the ski lift. Overall 10/10 for vibe, food, drink, and atmosphere. Will definitely return here on future trips!

K D.

Yelp
The food was excellent!! We had The Roper which was described by my 20 yo's as amazing! The supreme pizza and the grain salad were both excellent. I'm craving both and since we were there on vacation, I'm going to have to recreate the experience. The kitchen was quick and accurate. Loved the location and the vibe. Unfortunately it rained otherwise we would have played bags/cornhole after
google avatar

Jordan V.

Yelp
Food is decent for the price. Not the best but not bad. Plus, it's decent for being a brewing company and they offer quite a few things. Ambiance was nice and they have a bar downstairs and upstairs. Outside, they have yard games and tons of seating while you wait for a table. The waiter was also very attentive, even with the business being packed. The only thing I did not like about this place was that after we put our name on the waiting list, we saw people who put their name on the list well after us get seated before us (even though it's a first come first serve establishment).
google avatar

Camille W.

Yelp
The atmosphere is fun and vibrant. The beer was great. The food was so so - could have been what we ordered. The pizza and nachos were mid. The service was good. Would consider coming back, but would order something different.
google avatar

Paul H.

Yelp
Food was good, beer was tasty. We had the griddled chicken sandwich and grain salad, with a Pako's IPA. Food delivery seemed a tad slow, as others around us who sat down after us got their food first, but we weren't in a rush (it was a Tuesday night). We sat upstairs which had a good view of the equipment downstairs, but the ceiling lighting they had was blinding, and seemingly unavoidable.
google avatar

Alexander O.

Yelp
Good place to go to while in Jackson that offers local beer and food worth having that is within a price point that is affordable. Staff are welcoming and dogs are welcome outside.

Wyna M.

Yelp
Food was really good. The service sucked! Our waiter spoke so aft we couldn't hear him. I had to get up and refill my own water. Will not go back
