We stay here every year and have since 2020 - sometimes twice a year during good snow. However, regretfully this may be our last stay here. The pool and gym are amazing, the rooms are pretty great and the location is great BUT if you cannot have hot water and even take a slightly warm shower at the beginning or end of a long ski day, NONE of the great amenities matter. I’ve requested to change rooms so we’ll see what happens but get the hot water situation fixed YESTERDAY. We’re here for an 8-day stay and this is extremely disappointing.

New owners are cheaper than the likes of my home state of Mississippi. Never thought I’d make a review like this for what was ONCE my favorite resort. I’ve been coming to this resort every year for nine years, and every time I’ve been here (up until this year) it has been an absolutely wonderful experience. However, recently there are new owners of this hotel who obviously have no interest in keeping this jewel a destination for many visitors. The spa itself has degraded the most, the hot tub outside has not worked for two years but I decided to be patient about it last year because I understand things happen. This year there is a hose running lukewarm water into the pool that they call a “hot tub.” I’ve had to request so many essential items that should already be in my room, such as robes, a do-not-disturb sign, water, and soap bottles that are not 4/5’s empty. If you plan on visiting the spa during the hours of 9a-9p (regular open times) it’s kind of hit or miss whether or not all the spa equipment will be unavailable, off, or closed off. I’ve had to request the front desk to send somebody to the men’s spa twice to just turn all the lights on, because why should I have to do it when I’m spending basically $900 a night to stay here for 7 days? The service from the hotel workers has been okay, although I think I can ask for some silverware for my room without getting scoffed at by the bartender. Didn’t even get real silverware either, I got some biodegradable fork that bent before I even opened the PLASTIC THAT IT CAME IN. The ice machines won’t work in some areas of the hotel, so if you want to have a drink in your own room you’ll have to venture to another floor before you can do so. Half the power outlets in my room are not functioning whatsoever so I have to charge my phone on the other side of my room. Best part of this hotel so far has been the view outside the window of the mountain, but even the windows are just plain nasty. And if you’ve heard that they’re renovating, don’t fall for that. It’s the annual joke around here apparently, even the manager at the desk plainly said she had no idea if it would happen or when it would happen because they said the same thing last year. There are people here that have far too much money, and I’m sure they don’t care about the state of this hotel. But this has been my resting spot of choice for nearly a decade, and to see it massacred in such a way is just sad, just like the laundromat downstairs.

Google
Great Location. Service was a hit or miss, some good people there and some that should not be working in hospitality (felt like i was a bother to them) The biggest issue i had was how run down the hotel was. Probably was amazing 10-15 years ago but didn't seem to be updated in many years. To the point where things felt dirty, many things broken, and old etc. Seems like their management just let the hotel go years ago and isn't making the proper investments to upkeep it. I hope that changes as the hotel has the bones to be great given attention to detail and proper upkeep investments.

Google
Location is great, ski shop and staff are excellent, housekeeping did a great job. …. However, the hotel itself is lacking in all other areas. The breakfast buffet is terrible, the entire main floor lobby, bar area etc needs to be completely gutted and redone. Very dated and dark and kind of depressing, Terrible use of space. They only offer like 4 very basic things on the menu, French fries is one of them. The lobby service was non existent , there was no one to help with luggage, front desk staff was not very good, seemed put out of you asked a question, seems like management is missing completely. The hallways are very dark , rooms , pool etc are all VERY dated and odd and need to be remodeled. We would not return unless hotel had been updated.

Google
Ski-in resort with a lovely pool and comfortable rooms. Our family couldn’t be more grateful for the help from David (the manager) and Raquel (front desk staff member) upon our arrival. We are so thankful for their efforts to accommodate us and make our stay more pleasant. The bar was great, and the ski rental staff were phenomenal too!

Google
If you stay at this hotel the only cool thing is the ski valet with awesome staff and location. They put us in a room next to the ice machine, elevator, some loud machinery and parking lot. We got no sleep at all from how ridiculously loud it was. Even my kids could not sleep. When asked for a room change they gave us a dark room with a view of a wall! We simply laughed trying to not let it affect our holiday. Not at all worth the high price not at all. Actually quite insulting to ask for such a high rate for the quality of the dated rooms and noise level. Worst experience. So bad that we booked another hotel and left. They refuse to refund us so be aware of a 21 day cancellation policy. I feel totally taken advantage of. The new hotel is way better and they greeted us with a free upgrade and fantastic customer service so know that there is way better hotels in the area. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

Google
Room is a little dated but overall quite pleasant. Make sure to ask for a room not on top of the parking lot. Bathroom accessories are lovely and unexpected and make sure to partake in the nicely appointed mini bar. My favorite was the hot apple cider Keurig pod. Had 2 of those. Staff are lovely. All-in-all, a good stop from the airport. Only problem is the hotel bar was closed when we arrived at 9pm and the whole area closes for food at 9:30pm. Arrive well fed.

Google
The location in Teton Village is great. The fresh chocolate chip cookies in the lobby are the best thing this hotel offers. The indoor/outdoor heated pool and outdoor grotto Hottub is nice. The rooms are rustic lodge style and dated. We were put in a room on the first floor 119 with a view of the parking lot. One of the nights we received snow and at 4:30-6:30 in the morning a bull dozer was outside the window in the parking lot scrapping. We got a couples massage which I would rate a 4/10. I have had a lot of massages and this was bad. It was supposed to be deep tissue and after requesting more pressure 3 times I gave up, they also only were hands on for 70 min instead of the 80 we paid for. It was $700 with tip for the massages and well overpriced for the quality. It’s nice having a sauna, steam, etc in the men’s and women’s spa lounges for after a day on the slopes. Next time we will be switching back to Hotel Terra.

Yelp
We spent three nights here and the experience was AMAZING!! The lodge was adorably rustic with carvings of bears and woodland critters everywhere you looked. They have a bar, restaurant, hot tub, pool and sauna which I highly recommend trying all the amenities. We checked in after a long day of travel with delayed flights, full on adrenaline and anxiety or running to make connecting flights, stressed out about whether we'd be able to get our rental car. Needless to say we needed some good vibes. The front desk turned our day around!!! We arrived to a delicious cocktail and smooth check in. Then we were upgraded to a beautiful suite! Excellent service and a wonderful experience!

Yelp
If you are looking for a romantic ski couples getaway this is not the hotel for you. We found their photos online to be deceiving. Many of the rooms are tired and shabby. The hotel is very old and the pool is tiny and over crowded. The staff doesn't seem surprised when guests are not happy with the accommodations. Location is what you are paying for; however, the hotel owners should be ashamed. They could get more money if they remodeled the hotel. There are no views from the windows and the balcony rooms are dark and sad. I refused to stay here and went next door. I rated it a two because the staff tried to help by showing us different rooms but again they were not surprised we were disappointed. I do not recommend this hotel.

Yelp
Please check your booking.com phone number contact. It is not the number to the resort, it is some poor woman who is tired of getting calls/complaints about your resort.

Yelp
Loved staying at this hotel in Wyoming. Staff were amazing; especially Martin and Mayra. Extremely kind, caring and understood hospitality. Hotel was fantastic, restaurant was great. Parking was easy just across the hotel in the village. Kevin the dog also gives this hotel (as well as Martin/Mayra) 5 stars!

Yelp
I stayed at Snake River every year from 2005-2010 and this is my first time back in 15 years. Where do I start. They need to fire the entire management and staff and start over. This place has been run into the ground. It's not just run down. It's gross. This place was elegant in its glory and they should be ashamed with how they are treating it. I'm going to take many pictures and send them to Blue Flag Capital. You can look in any direction and find something broken or in disrepair. This is not a Panama City days inn folks. This is a 600/ night resort, have some pride and respect your clients. I would strongly advise to look at the newer hotels in the area. And, if you are coming here based off previous experience. IT's CHANGED and not for the better.

Kathy T.

Yelp
Not worth the price. Rooms not as described. Paid extra for suite with "large balcony for scenic views of Snake River Valley". Balcony faced hotel wall and half was taken up by large exhaust vent which put off an unpleasant odor. Patio was useless. Room amenities were low budget. Valet wasn't available one day, in room phones don't work to call for room service... too much to mention.

Walter S.

Yelp
Descent Location in Teton Village. Very dated hotel for what we are being charged for 4 nights. Room is positioned in rear of hotel. Window faces an access road with no view of the mountain.

Cindy D.

Yelp
Have to say we were initially thinking we paid too much. We were here 3 nights and completely changed our minds. The entire staff were wonderful. Our first morning the desk staff took the time to map us out a map of all the sights we wanted to see. They continued to help us in every request and always with a pleasant attitude.

Rene S.

Yelp
3 times I called and asked for a 2 bedroom with 2 queen beds. 3 times I was told yes this option was available even when I checked in. The 2nd bedroom is 2 twins. We have tall people and twin beds our a nightmare. Looking for other options

Louis G.

Yelp
Stay away. Worst experience ever. A real Dump. Left after they showed us our room. No consideration for the $ 3,000 I paid. False advertising. The website must be for some other property because it certainly didn't look like the hotel. No star.

Jeff L.

Yelp
Unbelievable but true nightmare. I booked a standard $300-$400 a night room for the Snake River Lodge on November 2023 for my stay in February 2024. The confirmation email I received on 11/29/2023 said that I owed $2,506.49 for the 5 nights starting 2/8/2024. I then received an email saying that I would pay a 40% deposit of $919.82 for my upcoming stay. On 12/7 my credit card was charged $919.82 twice, which was not supposed to happen. Then on 12/26/2023 my credit card was charged ANOTHER $10,592.86 for a total of $12,432.50 for a room that cost 80% less. My wife did not realize that this was a fraudulent charge immediately because I was going with a group, so she thought people were paying me back for the stay, which has happened many times before. Upon my late arrival in February 8th, I checked in and the front desk person told me that in addition to having overpaid $12,432.50 for a $2,500 room, I still owed another balance of $12,000. I was shocked and I demonstrated to the front desk person that I did not owe that for a standard room and that it needed to be corrected immediately. Who has an extra $10k sitting around in there account for an unauthorized charge?? The front desk person agreed and said they would fix it. On February 23th I called the front desk and spoke to Earl about the fact that there was still a $10k balance on my credit card that had not been refunded by the Snake River Lodge as promised. I had to go through the situation with him again and he spoke with the front desk manager and promised that it would be resolved shortly. He issued me a corrected internal refund statement on Snake River Lodge letterhead to show that I did not owe the money. I went away for travel and then returned home on March 6th and notified the Snake River Lodge that the $10,000 still had not been refunded to me as promised. I spoke to Becky who is the front desk manager and she sent me the same internal refund document that showed I was owed the money and that it would be refunded within 48 hours. I requested an actual credit card refund transaction detail with the reference number and it was not provided. The refund still hasn't come! I requested a wire to my account so I could pay the upcoming credit card bill and there has been no response. I have never felt so alarmingly helpless about a $10,000 theft by a supposedly reputable hotel. As of 4/9/2024 I still have not been refunded the $10,000 overcharge. Now I have to look into my legal options. The time and stress of dealing with this has been significant and they absolutely do not care. I even asked them to put themselves in my shoes, but all I got was lip service. if you read all of the reviews on various sites then you will find there is a consistent theme about questionable practices but none as large as $10,000

Yelp
We stayed at the hotel for over a week, in a penthouse. I was so looking forward to a beautiful space, based on the price. The place is so run down, it seems like it hasn't been upgraded in 30 years, if ever. The refrigerator door doesn't close, there is always standing water in the dishwasher, the furniture is all so spotted! The blow dryer was broken, the mirror in the bathroom is broken, when you walk into the kitchen you see a drawer with just a broken cabinet front. When I called multiple times before we arrived to speak to a concierge to help with a few details, they were never here, and never returned a single call. The service is poor! The only good thing is the housekeeping, but they can only work with what they have. For 2000 per night per bedroom, it should not be like this. Would not recommend!

Justin G.

Yelp
My family & I had a great "staycation" for the 4th of July. Shea G at the front desk was amazing! She helped us with upgrading us to a room with a balcony. Tanner who is part of the bell staff was also great! The pool is very nice & kid friendly, my family & I plan on going back more often just for the pool & the lobby bar was also a bonus!

May B.

Yelp
I wasn't the biggest fan of this hotel. There were no views. Hotel pool was so small and had seating for like 4 people. Again no views. Not a fan of hotel pools that doesn't offer any drink or food service at the pool. There's no music or vibe. The hotel is very old and dungeon like. Our room was nice and big and the bed was very comfortable. But I wouldn't choose this hotel again if I ever came back to Jackson hole.

Michelle E.

Yelp
Clean rooms, nice staff, good food, the kids loved the pool and I enjoyed the nice size gym.

Lindsay C.

Yelp
Reserved this 5 months ago with two queen beds through Hotels.com. Upon arrival to the room, we saw that it was left open. Walk in and saw a king bed. Our view was a wooden wall. Go downstairs and ask for this to be corrected and we are told no and that all rooms were taken. Finally get back downstairs and we are told we could have 2 queen beds for 2 of our 4 nights but we would have to switch to a King after the first two. Very excited about our queen beds and we got the SAME lovely view of a wooden wall. $1K for four nights and utterly disappointed.

Yelp
I was impressed staying at The Snake River Lodge in Jackson Hole, WY. The hotel went out of their way to ensure Happy Hour, Hors d'oeuvres, all dining options are still available during COVID. The location couldn't be any better! You are at the base of the ski lift and ticketing office, so walk out the door and hit the slopes! Meals are included in the price of your reservation, so be sure to confirm with the reservations office. Parking is free although you'll need to get an initial parking pass from the front desk. Best of all...They have an indoor/outdoor pool, jaccuzis and sauna to wear away any aches or pains from a day off skiing. Enjoy!

Kourtney B.

Yelp
Was happy and excited to be staying here. They had great amenities, and close to the ski lifts. The front desk was so nice on day one. Then it all went downhill. Front desk people were rude, and their list of "included in resort fee" items was NOT included!!!!! They simply said that the resort fee we paid gave us access to the amenities...that you have to PAY for!!!! RIDICULOUS. Not to mention a mediocre breakfast was $25 per person per day plus tax and tip. Will NOT be staying here again.

Logan S.

Yelp
Not sure what everyone is talking about in the reviews. This place is really nice (and I stay in hotels 70+ nights a year). It's not the 4 seasons, but it's literally 600$ cheaper per night. The bed was comfortable, the room was nice, you get a bottle of wine at checkin, free parking in the lot next door, and free grab and go breakfast. The pool is absolutely awesome! The water is heated and has waterfalls into the water with a cool hot tub in a little cave (you can flip the waterfalls on and off with a switch). - Best part is the bartender Ally (sorry if misspelled). She was incredibly nice and gave us some fantastic hiking recommendations. We would 100% stay here again!

Lisa S.

Yelp
Total thieves and liars! Booked a room here less than a week before a road trip to the Tetons and Yellowstone. We made it as far as Laramie when I developed acute altitude sickness and had pretty low oxygen saturations and had to be placed on oxygen in the ER. The doctors told me I had to get to a lower elevation immediately. We called the hotel from the ER and offered to provide a note from the doctor documenting what had happened and that we could not continue the trip. I was told they don't give refunds but would have the manager call me. Never heard back. Tried again later, was told the same thing, and never heard back. Finally reached the manager, Teresa, 4 days late, who said she had nodecision-makingg authority but would check with the Regional manager and get back to me. In the meantime, I had emailed the President of Newport Hotel group, Doug Cohen, who never responded. Also, I emailed the reservations manager A. Dimeo, who never responded. Two days after speaking to Teresa, she called back only to say they wouldn't refund anything. We paid over $2,000 for the week! In my confirmation email it specifically states that if I cancel before check-in, I will get 50% of the cost back, and they flat out said they don't give refunds and will not be returning anything. I booked this through Booking.com, and they confirmed that this is the policy the hotel offered, and the hotel is refusing to honor it. If they do not honor the request Booking.com has made, then I will be hiring an attorney. This week was hell for me with getting that sick and my oxygen levels dropping that low, and this hotel being so disgustingly greedy, dishonest, and non-responsive just made everything 100 times worse. Do not stay here, they will step over your dead body before parting with a dime.

Yelp
Where to start? SHORT VERSION: Yeah, worth the $$. If you still want details... LONG VERSION: LOBBY: Beautiful and the front desk service was great. Explained everything in a warm and open way. https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/snake-river-lodge-and-spa-teton-village-2?select=ZnnNjS1JDYGBO5DAeQEqjQ Love their décor. I later discovered that antlers are pretty much ubiquitous in this area, but it was still beautifully displayed here. I also really loved seeing those little animals (carved) peeking out from behind, on top or from the wooden posts everywhere. https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/snake-river-lodge-and-spa-teton-village-2?select=hZb3b_W60Ra_pcb8z3E1AQ The fireplace and the furniture around it is just plain western luxury. POOL: There really is only one very large pool but it spans from inside the building to outside creating an "indoor" and "outdoor" sections. There's a large "glass" wall that you kinda have to duck under while you're in the pool to swim to the outdoor section. https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/snake-river-lodge-and-spa-teton-village-2?select=umCXRo6DOzamwI5ZCrfDrg The outdoor portion also has a separate "Jacuzzi". It also has a grotto complete with waterfall. https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/snake-river-lodge-and-spa-teton-village-2?select=CAORRjZptCyTBwKmUA66Qg https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/snake-river-lodge-and-spa-teton-village-2?select=pGpp38oZpaZge6DP2T-0RA https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/snake-river-lodge-and-spa-teton-village-2?select=SsVYz5fVp2i3JvAvmEO52Q Lots of lounge chairs around. Plenty of large fluffy towels so you don't have to lug the ones in your room down... and then have to ask for replacements later. https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/snake-river-lodge-and-spa-teton-village-2?select=M2VYHK12zOdq4389RhWYMg They also have a locker room. ROOM: Huge and comfy. There were also plenty of chairs, side tables and desks so that you feel like you're in a home rather than an hotel room. It was designed to make you feel like you could hang out in this room, not just sleep in it. https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/snake-river-lodge-and-spa-teton-village-2?select=vCfNx16xBZOMLIKyFlqC3w The bed was extra large. The couch folded out to another bed and that was also very large. https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/snake-river-lodge-and-spa-teton-village-2?select=9ZPozogT4ZgMO-1JpAmxDg Plenty of cabinets to put your clothes, things and luggage away and out of sight. Mini-fridge, though always welcome, is not always present. In this case, it was present. Real glassware and not paper cups. Large TV with cable. Spacious bathroom with its own hot tub. https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/snake-river-lodge-and-spa-teton-village-2?select=vB9zhcmoZsC6ZJmVVHNqDw https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/snake-river-lodge-and-spa-teton-village-2?select=YN7nVRJ9jepc0vDoi6UQng https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/snake-river-lodge-and-spa-teton-village-2?select=uRq_6C5DaKo68INO-gJ86w Western décor, but not kitschy at all. Go figure. https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/snake-river-lodge-and-spa-teton-village-2?select=EeN5qv24syxakumVES1VNQ DRINKS: Coffee, water, tea and hot chocolate are always available in the lobby. That's great because in-between meals, sometimes you just want a non-water, non-alcoholic drink. SNACKS: Their afternoon snacks are pretty substantial. That nacho chips spread was great!! One day, they had chicken wings. FIRE PIT: At night, you could lounge in one of their Adirondacks gathered around one their fire pits and just relax while looking up into the clear Wyoming sky. PARKING: The large parking lot is shared with other resorts in the area but we never seemed to have any problems finding a spot not too far from the entrance. WIFI: Very good!

Yelp
Snake River Lodge is a fairly decent place to stay while you're spending time in Jackson Hole, Yellowstone, or Grand Teton National Park. It's got a rustic charm I guess, but compared to the Four Seasons right next door or other high-end hotels in the area, it leaves a little to be desired in terms of room size (small) and amenities (few) for the prices being charged here. However the room and bed were quite comfortable, with nothing seeming to be broken or dirty or falling apart. I did run into the same problem as one other recent Yelp reviewer, around the hotel's cancellation policy. When I checked in, I told them that I would be leaving a day earlier than my reservation. They cited the hotel's 21-day cancellation policy and charged me full price for that night anyway. Not the friendliest policy for folks who might need to change their travel plans closer than 3 weeks before their trip. And in fact it might make sense for you to simply reserve this hotel at the last minute rather than months in advance. Overall, though, really friendly staff, excellent beautiful location, and a decent room. If you can find a good discount on a room here (and your travel plans are solid), I would recommend.

Sherrie D.

Yelp
BEWARE! We had to cancel our Yellowstone trip two weeks in advance due to my wife's emergency retinal surgery. As she is unable to fly due to air pressures, we called the hotel to offer a doctor's note/excuse for not being able to travel. We were told they would not only be keeping the $868 deposit but would also be keeping 50% of the trip or $1,100.00! No offer of voucher, no nothing! Still fighting this situation with credit card company and lawyer. I have never heard of a resort not complying with a medical emergency (documented) and fully returning funds! Tried to speak to "the regional manager" twice and was turned down. Refused to call us back or respond to email. Extremely unprofessional! Would of rebooked here next year, but forget it! They would rather steal our money now! Swindlers.

Andy H.

Yelp
We had a great stay at Snake River. The hotel went above and beyond to work around the Covid guidelines to continue to provide food options, excellent service and helpful staff. The slopes were around the corner! Parking is free so be sure to ask at the front desk when you check in for a tag. Room was comfortable and the housekeeping staff was excellent in taking care of our room needs during the week. Huge shout out to Ally for all the recommendations and help on our dinner orders through the hotel. Excellent representation of hospitality! We can't wait to return.

Susan C.

Yelp
Hotel is nice but our room was so noisy we couldn't sleep. Not sure what it was. Sounded like a motor or maybe main AC unit? Kept my husband up and he can sleep through anything.

marie m.

Yelp
Cool looking place. The room I stayed was very nice, clean and comfortable. The staff is really wonderful. There was not a single staff member that did not say hi, smile etc when you encountered them in halls etc. The front desk was super helpful and friendly .

dimes t.

Yelp
People that write poor reviews on here are people that expect 5 star quality and expect to only pay 2 star motel prices. Snake River Lodge was incredible. The rooms are older but are quaint and have character and add to the feeling of being in Wyoming. Location isn't far from town Pool and spa are great More importantly the help and service was always immediate and with a smile. Judy and Komoey (I'm so sorry if I miss pronounced that) were INCREDIBLE and went above and beyond to accommodate our stay Thank you soooo much Great!

Travlr216 H.

Yelp
I don't normally stay at hotels this nice but got a good deal for the room, so can't complain too much however I can't imagine paying the normal rate of $600+. That's absolutely insane to me, not even a free breakfast included! Breakfast is $25/person and they don't mention the price when you check in so you're led to believe it's free. The pool and hot tubs were very nice and the rooms were decent but small, and we just had a view of the parking lot which was a bummer considering half the hotel was empty. Our shower didn't work. Overall the stay was nice but knowing how much it regularly costs I can't recommend it, it's just a big money grab and we've had better stays at best westerns.

Yelp
A great spa right next to Jackson hole mountain. My boyfriend went skiing while I relaxed at the spa! I got a Swedish message and it was fantastic! The spa amenities were great--hot tub, sauna, steam room, rain shower, etc! All were fantastic and I really got to relax. Everyone there was so incredibly nice! Will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
We stayed here a few nights during the slower months. The staff were very nice and helpful whenever we needed something. It was close to the tram which was loved by the kids. It was away from the chaos of the city but only 15 minutes away if you wanted to go to town. Our view was not of the mountain so that was disappointing. I got a massage at the spa. It was very expensive but probably one of the best massages I've ever had and I get them monthly. The therapist was hallie. The pool was very large with multiple hot tubs. There is a speedster men's and women's spa floors with hot tub and sauna. The only reason for not five stars was the rooms could use updating and The main restaurant was closed. the bar menu was small so we didn't try it. It is within walking distance to a few other restaurants though.

Yelp
Disappointed! Asked for a Mountain View and high floor got a view of the parking lot on the second floor for 790.00 a night Practicing COVID ?? Spent 790.00 a night 7 night stay and the floors of the rooms were filthy. No housekeeping service but I called the front desk the following morning to have them clean the floors . Old appliances ! called front desk Refrigerator froze most of my food. Plastic utensils for cooking were beat up and stained! Living room lights constantly flickering when on . I would not recommend this lodge in the summertime.

Yelp
Worth the money The good : the view ... only if you get room with shared balcony , clean nice bathrooms . Fantastic men's and woman's spa areas Realllyyy good gym ! Great indoor and outdoor heated pool with rocks and cave and night underwater lights Horses directly in front of the hotel :) Easy to park and unload , very nice shared office space as well as comfy lobby with bar Keep in mind that if you won't ask for room with the view you will get stuck looking in to someone's else's window or heating units . Very limited amount of rooms with balconies The bad : Rooms smell old and you need to air them non stop Front desk is extremely confused at times by very friendly and accommodating You have to walk for miles to find your room and some of the elevators have been made in 1787 from wood sticks and glue :)

Yelp
We stayed here in October, so it's off-season for this area. There are a lot of things that are closed for the season so the crowds that some talk about were not there. We had an amazing stay at Snake River Lodge - the suite was beautiful and the amenities were plentiful! Great service- all of it!! I would stay here again

Yelp
My husband & I stay here every time we come to Jackson Hole. Always friendly staff, great breakfasts (even during COVID, LOVED the chocolate crossiants!) & overall a great lodge. Wouldn't stay anywhere else!

Yelp
While I hate to write bad reviews, I feel it's necessary for the hotel to get a clue in this case. We stayed 3 nights. Location couldn't be better, right on the ski hill in Teton, however... I ignored the negative reviews for that reason. I wanted to like it. The negative reviews were accurate, so this is really more my fault than the hotels. Regardless, the issues. Our first room smelled strongly of sewage, we had to move, even the windows open didn't help. The second room, we could not cool down. We had the air conditioning on all night, every night, did I mention it was about 9 degrees outside and we never turned the heat on. Absolutely, miserable evenings. The beds were very hard. We asked for assistance several times, at the front desk. On all 3 occasions they "didn't know." The questions were: the elevator isn't coming, where are the stairs? Didn't know. We're dining at the Four Seasons, looks like a 5 min walk, is it out the door to the right or the left? Didn't know. Where is the ski valet (in their hotel I might add)? Didn't know. Let's move to food. Ordered a Sapphire martini at the bar, watched them make it, used some no name brand in the well. Ordered chicken wings, came cold with bbq sauce over the top within 2 minutes of ordering, clearly sitting around and not properly heated to be safe. Extra charges: charged about $68 per night in "amenities" - I called on this because we didn't use any amenities, we even bought our own snacks from the grocery store outside of the resort on the ski hill. Front desk girl couldn't explain what they were but whether we used them (them what?) we are charged for them. When I pushed, she said "Like towels" Towels??? I said, then she directed and said towels at the hot tub... but we didn't go to the hot tub... didn't matter. Then the deposit of $150. I noted others commenting about this charge, which I thought was the charge I just mentioned above. I asked when I checked in about the charge. Front desk clerk said the $150 is a deposit "on the amenities you use, if you don't use anything it gets refunded". Nooo, so not true. The $150 is an additional deposit for incidentals only. Apparently incidentals and amenities are different. We were very cautious and used neither. We were charged the like $65-68 per day, which they refused to refund. And, I haven't seen the $150 refunded yet. Will have that fight with the manager tomorrow. There was nothing "right" about this resort but location... and we paid $700 per night before all the bs fees and taxes. Do not stay here! Buyer beware!!!! There are plenty of other lodging options here that were equally as close. Absolutely poorly run, and untrained staff. Not the staff's fault ... absolutely terrible management of what could be a great property.

Yelp
Snobby front desk receptionist and dated rooms. We stayed on a Thursday night in the middle of September and they were completely empty. They put us in a corner room that is connected to the indoor pool and the only window in there is boarded up. You cant open the window or even see out of it. The chlorine smell was really strong so I asked the receptionist if we could perhaps switch to another room and she pretended to look for like 3 seconds and then just said looks like we don't have one, sorry. Very disappointed and will never stay here again. Wouldn't recommend.

Yelp
If you are looking for a quality spa experience this clearly is a spa to avoid. To be clear my comments are not a reflection on the masseuse; the massage was professional. The facility and its management leave an awful lot to be desired. We arrived on time and when asked how to find the spa were not given clear directions by the desk to a well worn facility in dire need of a remodel. The women's and men's locker room were unattended, and there were no, -0-, amenities, not even slippers which had to be requested. The robe had to be searched for in the men's locker but was readily available in the women's locker room. There was soap and shampoo in the showers but that was it. The heat in the lady's locker was well over 80 degrees and we were told that the hotel was going to fix it. --- No way to cool down. So, if you want to spend $500 for two massages (without tip) go for it. FYI, I left my card and asked that I be called by the hotel/spa's general manager who has not picked up the phone. This after I asked to see her. ---- Sorry to be so negative but had to share my opinion.

Yelp
I think the facility is gorgeous. Old, gorgeous. But the staff is terrible, in particular the manager this evening. My husband and I went to the bar at 5 pm. A bald man all in black came to my husband and said sir you can't sit at the bar, and my husband replied, no one is here - true, and not a rude comment, said with a smile. The man walked toward my husband, and said it very aggressively and forcefully. I got in there and said you do not need to talk to your clientele like that, and he came at me and got in my face! I grabbed my phone to record his extremely aggressive words and manners, and he put up his hand, to my phone and made contact with me, and pushed my phone into me!!! We paid for a suite, the week this place opened. Way too much competition here to have employees like that. Turned out, he is the manager!!!!!!!

Yelp
Pleasant space. Not quite luxurious and the hallways are a bit odd as this was clearly at one time separate hotels but the rooms are comfortable and the staff polite. We had no view from our room and the fireplace was pretty weak. The room service is actually quite good, better than expected. The apre ski items were somewhat monotonal but reasonably good and complimentary so can't complain too much about that. There is a small pool divided by a large sliding door, which permits the hotel to use it year round as a partial indoor pool. Also featured are two hot tubs (indoor and outdoor), a bar, and a small meeting space. We enjoyed our stay here. It was not the Four Seasons but was entirely serviceable and priced appropriately for what it was.

Yelp
My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. We booked three nights which cost us $2,000. We were under the impression that we were getting a suite with Mountain View which is what our booking stated. When we arrived and got in our suite we saw that there was no Mountain View. We actually viewed the parking lot of the four seasons hotel and the pool. The front desk was not very accommodating they said they were fully booked and that's all they could do. I think this hotel needs to be better managed. The listing should have read partial Mountain View. That was a big disappointment. We called the spa to schedule massages and they were also fully booked. The restaurants in the hotel were closed because it is "end of season" ?!?!? The pros are you are right in Teton village and walking distance to a bunch of restaurants. The room size was nice, but don't plan on a view. Also I think for the price there are better options available.

Yelp
Complete rip-off! This "4-star resort" is nothing close to the way it is described online. My husband and I are gluten free and the only breakfast options were pre-made ham & cheese sando, a muffin, or a tiny (slimy) cup of melon pieces. We are paying FOUR HUNDRED a night. Could they even have done some hard boiled eggs or some oatmeal?? DO NOT use the pandemic as an excuse. It's been a year and many other ACTUAL 4-star hotels have it figured out! Never staying here again.

Yelp
Read the yelp reviews after booking, which is the wrong order, but glad I messed up! Because, the reviews probably would gave scared me away. Long story short; everything here is wonderful! Plush clean rooms, outstanding free buffet, beautiful pool & lobby. Kadesha at the front desk was beyond friendly & helpful, as is everyone here. Don't stay here, ever! We don't want it to be crowded!

Yelp
What this place really has going for it is convenience. It's located a short walk to the slopes and you can rent skis right at the hotel and they store them for you free each night. Everyone was so friendly and they had a nice indoor outdoor pool. They also had free appetizers nightly and a grab and go breakfast. My only complaint is for $750 a night I would expect things to be working in the room. The tv had green pixelation, the tub was not draining and the phone didn't work. Hopefully the fix that for the next guest as we enjoyed our stay other than that.

Yelp
I would not stay here again even if it was free! Let's start with you can sit and eat or drink in the lobby bar area they are so overly concerned with you mask they will come by and yell at you if your mask is down to eat! People are walking around with out shoes but they don't care but your mask better there!Service is non existent employees act like they can't be bothered to help! They lie to you on the phone about where your room is acting as if they ha e 2 different towers than don't have any towers! The place is our dated even for a rustic feel!!

Yelp
This is a dumpy Two or three Motel At best. The rooms are small and dumpy. Do not stay here. Stay at a hotel like the Terra instead. The staff is greedy and nasty, and will not make any exceptions for the 21 day cancellation policy, even during a pandemic. A family member recently became sick and we tried to cancel Or get a credit for another property at a later date. We left messages and emails with the Hotel manager, it's been weeks and she still hasn't gotten back to us. We elevated this to the Newport hotel group who owns the property. They have refuse to acknowledge. The owners, Jon and Douglas Cohen run a nasty business and this is reflected by a terrible rude staff. Don't stay here

Yelp
Love love love. We had a very spacious two Q room during the off season and it was worth every penny!! Spa access was amazing. We heard rates skyrocket during prime summer season, so watch the 9% service fee. Beautiful lodge. Wonderful for families but food options are kinda limited if you are on a budget. Expensive! But that's just the area. Evening snacks at 4pm are provided. Horseback riding across the road was great! Tram only a short walk away. Away from the craziness of Jackson too. We will be back!! Hopefully soon!

Yelp
This hotel, The Snake River Lodge, looked beautiful from the website, but was very disappointing when we actually arrived! The room was small, cramped and very dated! None of the hotel restaurants are open. We did however love the pool, it was amazing to swim outside in 10 degree weather. However, the biggest disappointment was the misleading statement "The hotel has special assess to obtaining lift tickets for their guests through their portal for dates that otherwise appear to be sold out" The general manager, Justin Clark, was especially rude when he informed us that this was not true. That in fact the hotel only received a very limited amount of lift tickets, and they were already gone. He then stated that it would be 8 days before any lift tickets would be available. He only begrudgingly said that there were 1/2 day lift tickets available, when he looked at the website. He did not feel it was important to have front desk staff informed of this fact either. He lacks appropriate customer service skills and obviously needs training on that topic. I was very surprised that someone so inept in dealing with guests was actually the general manager.

Yelp
Very dissatisfied. We booked this hotel on reviews but they were inaccurate to say the least.! The staff is friendly but the hotel is understaffed. No one could get the outdoor hot tub to work. The hotel is dated. The bed is uncomfortable and the bedding is worn! We wouldn't stay here again. Don't waste your money!

Yelp
Very good ski in ski out. Location is amazing. Some friendly staff, though not all. The bathroom was also nice. Other than that I found them eager to charge for services that would be complimentary elsewhere and I found the front desk staff poorly accommodating. I went in person to ask the front desk to provide maid service after they didn't come the first day. They guaranteed they would. 4 days and 3 nights and not a single time was the room made. Front desk was not accommodating. Won't be staying here again. If you're okay with a small walk, I think the continuum is a cheaper better option.
