If you’re a fan of board games and casual hangouts, Snakes and Lattes is definitely worth a visit. I recently stopped by and had a pretty fun time overall, thanks mostly to the sheer variety of games available. Whether you’re into strategy games, party games, or obscure indie gems, there’s something on the shelf for everyone. It’s a perfect place for game nights with friends or even a casual date spot if you’re both into friendly competition.
Games & Entertainment – 5/5
The highlight of Snakes and Lattes is, without a doubt, the extensive library of board games. It’s almost overwhelming in the best way. The staff seemed pretty knowledgeable too, and they’re willing to explain how games work if you’re new to something. You could easily spend hours just hopping from one game to another.
Atmosphere – 4/5
The space is well-lit with a cozy, inviting aesthetic. It has that perfect mix of café charm and relaxed lounge energy. Tables are spaced out just enough for comfort, and it feels like a place you could easily settle into for a few hours without feeling rushed or crammed.
Food & Drinks – 3/5
The food was decent—nothing mind-blowing, but it gets the job done. Think elevated café fare: burgers, snacks, a few vegetarian options. Drinks were okay too, though there were delays in both food and drink service. That definitely took a bit away from the overall experience. It’s not the place you go just for a meal, but it works well enough if you’re mainly there for the games.
Service – 3/5
Service was friendly, but slow. It took a while for our food and drinks to arrive, and we had to flag someone down a couple of times. It wasn’t enough to ruin the vibe, but noticeable enough to mention.
Final Thoughts:
Snakes and Lattes is a gem for anyone who loves board games or just wants a different kind of night out. While the food and service could use a little tightening up, the atmosphere and entertainment value make up for it. I’d definitely go back, especially with a group of friends looking for a laid-back night of games and laughs.
