"Snakes & Lattes invented the board game cafe craze in Toronto and they’ve just moved into their huuuuuge space on College St. They were the ones who introduced Cards Against Humanity to Canadians and sell any and every expansion pack there is (even the "Bigger Blacker Box"). $5 to play for as long as your heart desires. Ample seating means you should bring a bunch of friends, and the collection of 1000+ familiar and unique games to choose from mean you should all stay for a couple of hours. They make excellent espresso drinks on their La Marzocco machine, have a big menu of soups, snacks, and sandwiches, and a surprisingly long list of beers on tap. Plus draught wine (!!!). Must plays: Werewolf, Telestrations, Codenames." - Sid Lee

Amazing place to play board games and socialize. Their coffee, drinks, and food are quite good too. Service can be a bit slow if they are busy. Great atmosphere!

We went 2 different times. Once we ordered burger which was great and the second time it was a cheese dip which was nice too but desserts are not that good. We ordered brownies and i was disappointed. The place is overpriced for the portion of food you get.

$20 admission with unlimited non-alcoholic/non-premium drinks is a pretty good deal. Wide selection of games varying in difficulty and genre. Would reccomend for a group of 4 or more, but coming here with just 2 people was good too.

Best hangout /board game place to spend with friends! Our waitress, Crystal was super friendly and gave us a lot of good recommendations for drinks and food. Our orders came super fast even when the place was packed. I loved the sangria and all the variety of board games offered at this location. Fridays-Sundays are very busy days so, I would highly recommend making a reservation in advance.

Located near Bathurst and College, Snakes & Lattes is a Board Game Cafe with an abundance of board games and a food and beverage menu. The College location is very spacious with beer on tap, making it an ideal spot for a fun night out with friends or a date. However, it's important to note that they enforce a 3-hour table limit during busy times, with a $20 entrance fee for games alone with unlimited non-alcoholic drinks. The cafe's board game catalogue, available online for each location, provides an extensive selection for customers to choose from. They are stickered for difficulty levels and also labelled for grid storing of the games. Extremely organized and staff were available for any game recommendations. They have wifi on-site to connect to especially if you need to look at videos for a board game! Additionally, the unisex bathrooms in the back have several stalls available. Do note, that their music is sometimes a bit too loud if you need to concentrate on certain games. Food-wise, we had a good time with our group. Our bills could be split per person. The menu offered a variety of options from alcoholic beverages, food, dessert and specials. Our group ordered the Nutella Latte, Game Night Brew, Gnocchi, Fish & Chips, Bear Down Burger, Ginger Ale, Bailey's Irish coffee, Mac & Cheese, and Spinach & Artichoke dip. We would not order some of the dishes in the future like the slightly overcooked gnocchi and bland mushy peas in the Fish & Chips. However, the overall quality and value were great like the Sweet Potato Fries and Classic Fries. The staff were all very attentive and very helpful with recommendations and board game support!

This place is really cute for a date night. I visited this location about a week ago and really loved my experience. The greeter upon entry was so energetic and kind and super friendly. 10/10 for that customer service (wish I got her name). The unique aspect of drinks and board games makes for a great night full of laughs and good conversation. Highly recommend if you're looking to try something new.

This is one of the best places you can go, if you need a space to hang out with friends. They have tons of game to try out and their menu is great! They have lots of options for people with gluten sensitivity, vegetarians, and some for vegans as well. The hot chocolate is AMAZING! It can get a bit crowded and loud on weekends, but weekday nights are usually more chill.
