Snappy Salads Watters Creek

I recently revisited Snappy Salads at Watters Creek after having stepped away for about a year and a half due to repeated issues with customer service back then. I was honestly hesitant, but my daughter wanted to try it out, so we gave it another chance. And I’m happy to say it was a completely different experience this time around! We ordered the Korean BBQ salad and the Chimichurri steak salad. There was a small mix-up with the protein on my daughter’s salad, but the manager immediately stepped in, fixed it, and even added a little extra steak at no extra charge. The team was super friendly and accommodating, and it truly felt like they were focused on giving great service. Overall, I’m impressed with the positive change. Kudos to the management for turning things around. I’ll definitely be coming back more often now!

Was excited to try this new place as I hadn’t known of it before. Tasted great but was taken advantage of a bit. The manager behind my back (she didn’t think I was looking…) didn’t put all the ingredients into my wrap. She was EXTREMELY RUDE. No shame. She’s what’s wrong with society today….Told her employee to not put some ingredients in my wrap because she had already packed up the ingredient. This is 30 minutes before close. Lots of fake reviews too. Just see for yourself. I DONT RECOMMEND!

Really nice and cozy place, quiet and clean. They have a lot of variety. I gredients were fresh. I got a make our own salad. We also order the wraps and sweet potato chips. I liked all the food, especially the sweet potato chips, which is a must. They have a little dine in area outside. I enjoyed the place very much

Just became a fan of salads, so I decided to try this restaurant. I had the Harvest Bowl, it was so good. All the ingredients were fresh. I will definitely come back again.

Staff were nice, salad was good. The reason why I’m giving it three stars is because they couldn’t give me my receipt. I ordered food there and left to my car. I realized I forgot my receipt and came back in less than 5 minutes after I left. I told them I’d like my receipt but the lady said the system can only pull the last two transactions. She tried to pull the order but had no luck. I’m not sure if this is due to lack of training on the PoS or if y’all’s PoS can literally only save the last two transactions. Either way that’s crazy and needs to be addressed.

Me and my boyfriend go here every year for our 1 year anniversary because they have the BEST food and BEST service. Dustin is the BEST worker. he knows us by name now. He will always sing to us and make our salad with love. blessed to have a team like this so close to our home and our hearts

This spot was great for a quick healthy lunch! Huge customizable salads and lots of options for classic options with a twist. They let me taste a dressing ahead of time to ensure I would like it! Great salad, ate half and then save half for the next lunch!

The food and service was great tavi gave great customer service spoke when me and my wife walked in service was great food was awesome definitely coming back again also new to the area so loving the hospitality

I am so sad to be writing this review, but it's long overdue. Prior to Covid Snappy Salads was my FAVORITE restaurant. Seriously, date night, girls lunch, a Tuesday, no matter the occasion I always suggested Snappy. It was me & my friends go-to spot. Then Covid hit & as all other places, they shut down. It took them a LONG time to come back and when they did they had changed things. - They no longer offer two sizes of salads (small & large) & the size they settled on leaves a lot to be desired. - They cut the number of toppings you can add and increased the price for additional toppings. - They increased their prices across the board. I get it, a lot of places had to increase costs to make up for being closed for so long, but Snappy Salads is skimping big time and charging more. Early Oct 2022 my hubby & I ordered through the app for pick up. We were so hungry & decided to give Snappy another try over two other newer salad spots we've come to really like in the area. WHAT A JOKE! I ordered a Grain Bowl & my husband ordered the Steak Wrap - note, they don't look ANYTHING like they do on the website. The portions were a joke and we were sure we'd accidentally ordered a kids size. What's more they cost us $30 for the two items & we were still hungry. You can see from the images we added, the sizing was minuscule for the cost, a total rip off. We will no longer be suggesting Snappy Salads but rather the other salad spots nearby that offer bigger portions for better prices.

Gone here for years, I think never again. Tired of how dirty this location is. Stacks of dirty dishes at each trash, most all tables dirty, almost nobody in there, including the staff that was hanging out in the back room. Nobody was there so people figured out the only clean forks were behind the register and had to reach over. The young dude I think may be nonverbal as I got through the entire transaction without a word said. Pass.

I wish we could section these reviews, but I guess the overall experience is the point... The parking lot is decently sized for the capacity of the dining room, and the menu has a ton of options. The portion size was MASSIVE- and I absolutely loved my ingredients... however... the staff acted like me choosing the ingredients for my salad was the biggest hassle of their day. I hadn't ever been here before and was invited by people who HAD, and they had given me the description "it's like Subway, but for salad". So if we're all wrong about that and I was just free throwing for no reason, my apologies. If we're not wrong about that, then let's just build the salad of my dreams without the side of attitude, eh? Oh- I also had half of my friends leftover wrap the next day and it was pretty good. I wouldn't mind trying that if I ever find myself back there.

There was no one there when my friend and me arrived, but later the dinner rush arrived. My salad was great. Great portions and very fresh! Service was fast and the person working there was friendly. Tables were clean which is hard to find in fast food restaurants now days. Overall, we had a good experience. It was a great place for my friend and I to meet, have a healthy dinner, and catch up.

I can completely see why this location in Watters Creek only has 3-stars! The Kid's Snap has three toppings, BUT they should be FULL scoops. The shift manager had a full scoop of chicken and then dumped it and only gave half a scoop. He told me that Kid's Snaps only have half scoops for toppings. What?! He also was going to up charge for tea instead of apple juice. We are VERY frequent Snappy customers at another location and they know how to do it right!! We've never be up charged or given small servings there. We won't be back to this location. If this should be the norm for all locations, Snappys should rethink this.

Order delivered was wrong. They refused to deliver the correct item. Only willing to refund 25% when the incorrect meal was 50% of the order. Holy cr@p. We just re-ordered and then got it wrong again. This is crazy. We drove to the location and they did it wrong again.

Overall three stars?... this place is well over average! I really enjoyed my salad here today. Make your own salad with your choice of greens and 6 add-ins for just over $9 with tax. I enjoyed it because they had some vegetables and toppings and salad dressings that I don't find at my regular salad place. The inside is stylish, it's clean and I received great service. I'd recommend it and I would come back.

Love this place! My go to salad place. This location has always had a great and friendly staff. I've gone a few times right before close, which I hate being THAT person, I just get off work late and have to rush before they close. But they always take my order and nice about it.

Ordered for delivery on Monday evening 8/29 on the Snappy Salads website. My husband & I live in Wylie & we're disabled so we don't get out much. Snappy delivery is kind of a big deal here. Should have received 2 chicken Caesar salads & 4 chunks of bread. The lettuce was warm & slimy. There were no croutons anywhere. There was no bread at all. I called the number that I was given on the order summary (not Snapoy, turned out to be DoorDash) and got a recorded message with DoorDash business hours. I tried calling the actual restaurant (Watters location) and nobody ever picked up even though they were still open at 8 pm. So it's been 2 days, I have yet to reach a human being at the DoorDash number. Three attempts to reach the actual restaurant have gone awry - I was hung up on once, I asked to speak to a manager once & was put on hold for 8 minutes and the last time the phone just rang. Since I can't seem to get any assistance, I'm resorting to posting this. Once upon a time, the OG owner paid attention to his stores' reviews. I'm hoping that happens again. I would happily accept either a partial refund for the missing bread & croutons or a completely new order with everything that I ordered the first time. You guys can definitely do better.

Don't do it! The picture shown is the cobb salad. Do you want iceberg lettuce with little to no protein or veggies? Chipotle ranch that has zero flavor. How is this place still in business? I found 4 tiny pieces of bacon, a slice of egg and had to add my own dressing and seasoning. $15 salad, guys? Edit: see price picture and receipt. It's the Cobb but I subbed the dressing.

This is my favorite salad place. I stop in here very often. The veggies are always fresh and the service is always quick. I tend to visit here at least once a month. I would advise anyone that's looking for healthy lunch options to stop in.

When I tell you this is the best salad I've had in a minute...I got the grilled avocado salad then added buffalo chicken on top & omg! THE FLAVOR. Only thing it was HELLA expensive. Like $14 for a salad? But other than that, very tasty.

(First of all, update your Yelp info, Snappy Salads, bc none of your staff wore masks this evening..) Tonight was my second attempt at trying to find something good at this store but you can be assured I wont be back. I tried their New menu item Hot chicken grain bowl. The unenthusiastic girl dumped everything except for the rice and chicken and left my bowl at the edge of the table and moved on as I patiently waited for someone to finish my order.. Then a young man appeared, who looked flustered, and asked if I wanted sauce in the bowl or set aside; I said "in the bowl is fine" and watched him drizzle almost half a cup of thick sweet dijon vinaigrette into my bowl (seriously concerned by the amount) He threw in what looked like 3 pieces of McDonalds chicken nuggets chopped in halves (literally less than 8 pieces of tiny chicken) and that was my $14 "custom" salad. (Please do better?) Never mind the portion but the worst part of the meal was that not only did it taste awful bc it was soaked in dressing, I got FOOD POISONING near the end of my meal and had to rush home. (Luckily I live nearby) TMI but having to rush to the restroom not long after a meal makes me question whether their ingredients are washed, prepared in a sanitary manner. I noticed during the meal that all the staff were talking loudly in front of the salad bar (no mask, cover or anything) and also pushing around the veg spilled over the bar back into the bowls and containers USING A PLASTIC TRAY. How gross. -update- My hubby who has a stomach of steel also felt sick and had to use the restroom as I was writing this review. Thanks Snappy Salads.

Really good salads but a bit pricey. Their service is really good too.

Service was great- they were even super sweet and patient with my post-Stroke parent. I had the crispy artichoke- delicious and vegetarian! I had the half option and could not finish it. The pesto was a delightful addition. I recommend asking them to hold half the dressing- they really drench it. The food is super fresh. The tuna and salmon were grilled in front of us. The location is great. We loved our experience. My main concern with Snappy Salads is the huge portion of poor toppings which causes many salads to tip to unhealthy. Such as buffalo chicken. Nothing advantageous about these choices and the number of obese eating these meals believing they are eating healthy is creating a false sense of nutrition.

The suckiest location just so happens to be the closest one to my address. The staff here is very unprofessional and, quite frankly, they do not care about providing quality customer service. Whoever the owner is of this location, I feel sorry for him/her because the staff could care less about quality service and making a sale. This is now my second time trying to order something that they had no clue about and poor understanding. Additionally, when I asked to place a to go order, the woman on the phone told me "well I've got 10 people ahead of you". I said, "well that's OK I'm turned off, thank you."

I love Snappy Salads, I honestly really do, but I will think twice about visiting this particular location again. My first experience at this location was in the first week of March. I made my order over the phone for a BBQ Ranch Chicken salad, and had my boyfriend pick it up and bring it home. First thing I noticed about the salad was that there was NO chicken. Second thing I noticed about the salad was that they used RED onion, instead of GREEN onion which totally changes the taste of a recipe... I didn't even finish it. I was pretty annoyed, but decided that since its a new location with new employees still learning, I would chalk it up to that. My second experience at this location was today, over a month since my last experience. Today I was out and about and decided to go in to the location to order. There were 6 people ahead of me when I walked in at 1:25PM. No big deal... Other locations I've visited have had a line almost out the door and I was still in and out of there, but it was not the same here. I was last in line and not yet at the place where they would normally take the orders... and the first person on the line, came from behind the line to take my order. Again, I guess that's no big deal. However from the time I ordered and actually walked out with my salad... 25 minutes had passed. 25 MINUTES!! That's a ridiculous amount of time to wait for a line order salad with only 6 people in front of me. In addition to that, they overcharged me. Normally I pay $14.99 (after taxes) for the full BBQ Ranch Chicken salad. That charge is inclusive of chicken. Today I was charged $16.75. When I inquired as to why, the cashier told me its because I got a full order of chicken, and then proceeded to take a call and left me standing there wondering two things. 1. Who trained you? And 2. Where's my salad? (She left it sitting on the far end of the counter while she took her call so I had to reach over and grab it myself... Yikes.) Also, the counter wasn't wiped after a dressing was spilled, so my container had dressing all over the bottom of it. Great. Customer service is everything to me and it was lacking at Snappys today. 2 stars because they got the ingredients right this time around, but everything else about my visit was very disappointing. Still a new establishment, so when I go back in the unforeseeable future.. I will update this review.

Ordered 3 salads online for pickup during lunch today. One was a Cobb salad and 2 of the salads were create your own. Both of the create your own salads were ordered with grilled chicken (an addition of $3 per salad) however neither of the CYO salads had chicken added to them. Since this was noticed upon getting home, I call the number for the Watters creek location that is on Snappy Salads website which is the same phone number that is on Yelp and Google and the lady who answers tells me that she can only handle delivery orders and she has no number to transfer me to, basically that she can't help me. Disappointing to pay for added protein and not getting it and then having no way to contact the store. This was my first time ordering here and not sure if I'd ever want to do an online order again.

I ordered two salads and a wrap via Door Dash. One salad and a wrap actually arrived. The wrap was tasty, no complaints. The salad was made with greens past their prime (slimy, browning, and no longer crisp) and served with the incorrect dressing on the side. The second salad was missing entirely. Absolutely zero reason for me to try this place again, or to recommend it to anyone else. I've had fresher, more satisfying salads from Chick-Fil-A and Buccees! Did I mention the salads were about $14.50 apiece? I'd have expected seriously high quality, but got an inedible product. If you're the customer: avoid this place If you're the franchise owner: you've got an issue which needs attention before it closes your business

I loved my warm riced cauliflower salad -delicious! The staff was friendly and welcoming.

There's this youngish guy named Bradey who works here (darker curly hair) who is EXTREMELY helpful and menu-knowledgeable. I have a wheat intolerance, so I can be seen as a difficult customer because I have to ask a lot of questions to navigate what I can have/can't have. He wasn't annoyed by me having to ask for menu help and spoke clearly and directly, helping me find exactly what I should order! I always go back to places with employees that are that patient and pleasant to be around. The food was great and I actually felt good after eating it, too. Great spot for people who want something healthy and quick. Thanks Bradey!

For the $16 price tag on this little bitty salad, that is greatly lacking in its topping selections... I do not recommend!! I will not come back here and should definitely make my friend pay me back for this meal I ordered based off of their recommendation!!! In response to the comment from the business, YES, this is the place that I bought the $16 salad from. I explained the entire process via email, as you requested, and have yet to get another response from your "findings" regarding my order. I took the time to reply... the very least I should have gotten was a follow up email.

A lot of reviews of this place aren't great to start off, which is a bummer because Allen needs more healthier options! However, we received friendly service and well made salads. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because it was, in fact, VERY hot inside.

I just ordered the yellowfin tuna salad from here and I am so disappointed. The fish was old and was the fishiest tasting fish I have had in years. The water chestnuts in the salad also tasted like they had gone bad. For $16.60, I am pretty irritated I can't even eat the salad for fear of getting sick. I know the pandemic has probably impacted how often they get food shipments, etc., but it's really pointless to serve the protein or topping at all if it is bad (especially a protein that is to be served medium/seared) which will surely make people sick.

We have tried the snappy salad at multiple location in DFW areas. We were glad to found this location close to our home few days ago. However, the wraps (gogo and baja shrimp) we had today were terrible.. too much sauces made them very salty and unhealthy. Also the meats were not fresh (you could tell they were made long time ago). And the most important part was the size of the wrap. They were very small (felt like eating the wrap without protein) compared to our last visit few days ago. This will make us not going back to the snappy salad from now on. We would not recommend this location. Please work on your quality control...

The low ratings for this location is totally justified. Came here and it took a while 15 minutes to make my salad ( I am not kidding) and there was only ONE person ahead of me. The staff moved at a snail's pace and didn't even know how to make their grilled avocado salad correctly. Not to mention, the AC was broken or something and it was extremely hot inside and the worst part.....I counted like 10 flies buzzing around the food. I drove home thinking about the possibility of the food not being fresh from the heat and flies and decided not to even eat my salad. I love Snappy Salads especially the one in Addison but this is by far the WORST location ever. I came the first time around when it first opened and they made my salad completely wrong. I know because at the Addison location I order the same thing every time. I chalked it up to new hires and working out the kinks. Went there today and it reaffirmed my decision to never come back. This place never has any customers during dinner and now I know why. I see this place not lasting long which is unfortunate since I love salads and it's so close to home however I would rather have another restaurant here in it's place. That care about good customer service and putting out good food.

This place is normally pretty good. Too expensive but pretty good with okay staff. This time I ordered a $22 or however much full salad to go... as I was waiting I heard them whisper something about the avocado but didn't say anything. When I got home I turned the avocado over and it was disgustingly brown. This is only half of it pictured. I called them and asked if they had any other avocado and they said yes. If they had other avocado why wasn't this one tossed instead of served to my to go order? They probably thought I wouldn't say anything. I came back and brought the whole salad back for a refund. When getting my refund she gave me a fresh avocado. Why couldn't it have been served to begin with ugh

everytime I've gone to this location or gotten something delivered....it's either the completely wrong salad or not complete. literally at this point I'd rather drive to a different location if I want snappy salads. I got a salad today and I WALKED in to get it, and I got home and they didn't mix my dressing into the salad. I just paid $15 for a dry salad I'm actually upset.

This was our first time visiting this location. My wife had been to the one in Frisco a few days before and enjoyed her experience. This place is a new location. It is very clean and the people are friendly and helpful The high noise level was irritating when trying to order. My first impression is that the product here is a salad bar that a server works for you. I ordered the Yellowtail salad and it was good. All of the ingredients were fresh. I did not care for the wasabi balls they sprinkle in at the end. I wish they had asked if I wanted them. They use soft drinks that are made in Oak Cliff near Dallas. My wife said the diet cola was good. I am not sure about the source of the iced tea, but I did not care for it. We both hated the thin paper straws. You had to suck twice as hard as normal to get you beverage. By the end of lunch they were soggy and almost useless. I will visit again now that I know the program. I will order a half salad because the whole will feed a small family. All in all they are doing a good job. I hope to add more stars after my next visit.

I love this place and go for lunch on a regular basis. They are fast, friendly, and have delicious salad options. If you sign up for the app, you get rewards so the prices are fair. The lemon pepper salad is really tasty.

When I need a reset in my lunch or dinner routine - something not so indulgent or heavy - I get Snappy Salads. The menu is diverse and I've enjoyed everything I have ordered these past two years. The salads are generous, tasty and filling. We each have our favorites, but my go to of late has been the Cobb Salad.

First off, online the Caesar salad is about $9, but I ended up paying almost $13. I know how big their salads usually are when you sit down and eat, but when you order takeout you're practically getting ripped off! It's so small. There were no croutons in the salad either when online it says there there is. As I was chewing the salad I was very displeased that there was a small piece of plastic in my food. It almost looked like lettuce. Really disappointed.

Its not like they have an extensive menu, so why cant they properly make their menu items? I must be stupid to keep going back. I really liked their falafel wrap. Ordered it today and again to prove just how f'n lazy they are, they put all the items in the wrap and put it in the bag. Don't bother to mix it together. I think I'm done.

We were looking for a healthy fast food option and we found Snappy!! The atmosphere was great and friendly service. We will be returning. We ordered the Warm Thai salad. It was very good and not too spicy.

Unimpressive. Cobb salad. Big bowl, lots of greens, very stingy on the ingredients. Very small scoop of each. Over $48 for the 3 of us to eat. All 3 of us agree that we are unlikely to return. Update: went to Panera Bread the next morning after church. Got a half & half. Half a sandwich and half a Cobb salad. The bowl was about 1/2 to 1/3 the size of the bowl at Snappy Salad. The ingredients were over double what Snappy Salad. Not looking for a refund or do over. Just sharing my experience.

First off, I love salads more than anyone I know. I basically eat a salad everyday. So I was so excited to try this place since it is so close, and was very hyped for the grilled avocado salad given how much Snappy Salad hypes it up. It wasn't a terrible salad, but the star of the dish (the avocado) was no where near ripe. I was planning to share the avocado with my 9 month old, but it too hard for him. If the avocado would have been creamy, this salad definitely had some potential. But the avocado was not really edible. So sad because I really really wanted to like it. I will say the people who worked here were nice. The outdoor seating was fun.

I've come in twice, salads are pretty good but service is absolutely terrible, I'm not one to usually complain because I get it they are busy but both times I have gone in the staff are uninterested and seem like I'm bothering them by my existences and in a shit mood .... I'm not expecting a chick Fil a type service but I expect them at least to act like they are listening to my order and not ignoring me

Food is okay but they have a HUGE problem with the sound. It is so loud the servers can't hear you and make mistakes. And it was causing people to lean way over the food to try to communicate what they wanted. Also, the menu on the wall is not in site of the entrance. I thought that all they had was a salad. So that's what I got. But then I have saw other stuff and ask them if they had a menu. They pointed to the back. I still couldn't see it. Being our first time. Not a good experience. Hopefully they work it out

This place use to be amazing. Now there are young kids working there with no manager and they suck! They don't know how to make anything. They don't know something is spicy or not. Literally $35 worth of food was wasted. I would rather go to Salata or even Chick-fil-A for a salad then waste more money here. They are also rude and don't care!

Love, love, love the Baja shrimp wrap. I ordered on the app before heading over and my order was ready right in time. My food was nice and hot, and delicious. The wrap is one of my go-to lunch favorites.

What a horrible joke of a salad. My girlfriend and I ordered two different salads. Both equally horrible, honestly the worst salads I have ever had. I do not understand how they are still in business. The taco salad was iceberg lettuce with tomatoes and cheese and some soggy chips on top with about 2 ounces of cold ground beef on the side. Ruined my lunch. Would never give them another chance.

Worst salad EVER. How do you mess up a salad? I'll tell you how, have a teenager sauté your shrimp for 90 seconds with NO SEASONING and undercooked (still translucent) and attempt to serve it to you. I'm going back to Salata

Decent options. Wish they had tofu. I tried the grilled avocado salad w boiled egg added and it was quite tasty. The service was slow and there was a fly buzzing around the ingredients or I would have given a higher rating.
