Snarfburger

This is an old bare bones burger shack and it is awesome! The burgers are smashed and the cheese is dripping! Best part is they put hot sauce on it! The onion rings ant tots were good as well as the grilled cheese. Everyone should eat at Snarfs!

This was so freaking good!!! Absolutely amazing food price was great 15 bucks for a double Hawaiian burger fries and ranch! Best burger in boulder I have ever had. Services was great food came out in 5 mins at lunch hr. Great job guys !!!

Really like the idea of this place, but found the burger to be okay. Ordered the single with everything. I think the bun was soft - missed a griddle crusting. To be fair, two hours earlier I visited The Sink. Yes, two burgers in two hours. That was special. I also got their custard, and unfortunately it wasn't solidified, so it was pretty soupy from the onset.

We really enjoyed our mushroom cheeseburgers, they hit the spot for sure... The fries were crispy and fresh and just right, the outside sitting is nice, it wasn't very busy when we stopped by but the burgers and fries still took a fairly long time to make, but it was well worth it... Parking was full but we were able to find a spot nearby.

Very popular place with take out orders. Only 5 chairs to sit down and eat but still a good burger to satisfy your cravings. A bit on the greasy side but perhaps it makes it more satisfying. Reasonably priced for Boulder.

Legendary Snarfburger doesn't disappoint for your classic old school burger stand. It's a mainstay of Boulder. For your greasy nonfuss big mess burger it's a Snarfburger. Tots and rings fried crispy and seasoned to perfection. Plan to wait as this place is almost always hopping.

Really good burger. Nice size and the just the right amount of messy. The beef is juicy and flavorful. Add a half order of fries/onion rings along with a milkshake and you get the perfect throwback blue collar meal.

Edit: The store manager was swift to respond to my concerns and was very helpful to make this situation right. I've ordered from this location once before and it was really good.I'm not sure if they made our food horribly undercooked because I selected the no tip option online.I left a $5 cash tip which I regret now :( because the food was disgusting .There was a bunch of weird hard pieces in my burger and both mine and my brother's burger were very undercooked.I love snarfs burgers but I don't know if I'll ever feel comfortable ordering from this specific location again:/

Delicious burger spot! I love me a burger that has a homemade taste. I'm so sick of the usual fast food joints. Finding this place was a treat! I got the Hatch burger which comes with green chiles, gave my burger a spicy kick. I'll definitely be back soon for another signature burger.

This spot is Ehh. Needs a good deep clean on the inside and outside. Customer service could be better. Burgers were ok, messy and very greasy. Fries were ok but very over seasoned. Definitely made our stomachs turn after the meal. There is better burger joints than this spot. Won't be back.

Snarfburger is a delicious greasy spoon hole in the wall burger joint that produces a good burger with super nice staff! While the soda machine area could be kept nicer, it's a burger joint so don't be so judgy. My only dislike was the head banging tunes that propelled me outside away from that noise but the staff there loved it and they are the ones working so better they're kept happy so the burgers keep tasting good as well. I'll be back next time I'm in town along with my noise cancellation AirPod Pros ;D

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat since we had a while to wait until our tea factory tour. The food itself was pretty solid. I love a classic burger. My issue was the cleanliness. I really really hate saying anything negative about any establishment. Seriously, check my reviews. But I had a hard time not here. I do get it's a small place and kitchen hoods can only do so much, but the place could use a solid scrub down. And while we were waiting for my daughters shake, the gentleman who had helped cook the food, opened the top of the machine and pulled out a part of the machine with his bare hands to attempt to fix whatever mechanism that wasn't working, and stuck the piece back in. I didn't see him wash his hands, I'm hoping I just missed that part. While everyone was incredibly friendly and fast and quite efficient, it was kinda rough to move past that.

Great burger for another post hike lunch! Got a double burger, order came out hot, and enjoyed it outside. Would come again when the burger craving hits!

Such nice workers and quick service! Loved that I didn't have to choose between onion rings or fries-- they have a frings option where you can get a little of both. I got the hot island burger special, super tasty!

I feel like I need to start this review by saying the food and the majority of the staff are great. This used to be my favorite lunch/dinner spot whenever I was nearby. However, I don't think I can give this place a good review is because of who I assume is the manager. There have been multiple instances where I have felt personally insulted, as well as being dismayed at her behavior toward other customers. For example, a couple couple weeks ago, I witnessed the manager throw a bunch of high schoolers out for what seemed like no reason. These kids were ordering food, and generally being quiet and respectful of the resteraunt, when the manager then yelled at a group of them to leave. I was shocked, as I had never seen such a blatant act of ageism and disrespect toward paying customers before. Had I not seen these kids in the restreraunt before, I might have been on the manager's side, but they have never been a problem before, so I am confused why these customers were treated so badly.

I gotta say this was one of the best burgers I've had in awhile. The frings were also amazing. We happen to be driving by coming from Boulder falls and decided to stop here. The only thing that I would complain about is the service. We went to order our food and the guy working the cash register was talking on his personal phone taking our order and talking to his friend at the same time. We are not from here and my husband asked the boys what do you recommend none of them replied and kept staring. Not one of them smiled and asked if they could help. Then the guy that was on break came in and answered our questions and was very friendly. I would have gave 5 stars if the service was better.

Out of town on vacation and this burger definitely hit the spot! The burger was well seasoned and the Ortega chile plus jalapeños put it over the top!

My boyfriend and I have been coming to snarfburger for a long time! As loyal customers, we're sad to say that we won't be returning after today. Not only do they forget an item we order almost every time (whether that be a side sauce or the bacon on a burger), but the staff has been very passive aggressive and rude, even though we have truly been nothing but nice. We saw a group of people walking by outside on the sidewalk and one employee said out loud "please don't come in, please don't come in " and this is shown through their service, you can tell they do not want you there. The fries are yummy, the burgers are good, but unfortunately the employees make us feel unwelcome and never want to return.

We randomly selected this burger joint and OH BOY I'm glad we did! Best burger I've had in a while and it's super reasonably priced! They give you all the toppings, but I went with cheese, onions, pickles and ketchup. They give you two different types of cheese on it - yum! The fries were AMAZING. I had to sneak a few before taking a photo! Super fresh and perfect crisp. They are also peppered to perfection.

I went twice in a week and was equally disappointed both times. The first visit I asked for NO cheese and double checked that they caught that the burger was to be made with no cheese. When I got my order, it had cheese. They were very kind when I took it back to ask them to correct it, but when they gave me my re-made hamburger, it wasn't the hamburger I ordered. The second time I went back, I asked for the most basic item on their menu in hopes of having a more positive experience, and the order was right (woohoo!), but it was so bland and dry. I wanted to love this place so bad, but to be disappointed twice in a week... I won't be back. It's got a great vibe, but I don't think the food is worth the money at all

Best veggie burger of all time! Super chill place to eat. Great window seats inside and picnic tables outside. Staff are always nice and playing great music.

Great burgers! They may not look like much in the photos but they are great, as are the fries. I'm not a fan of onion rings in general, but those who ate them said they were crispy and great. They were out of tater tots so I'll be back for those next time!

Finally made it to this location purely by luck. When I saw it while heading west, had to make the U turn. Don't park at the Southside. East side was kewl. My single pattie, well done with bacon set me back less than $5.50 and it was fully loaded with cheese too. Definitely a big plus for s Snarf fan like me. Burger was cooked to perfection, bread complemented nicely ( one of those that does not fall apart). Definitely making repeat trip!

Haven't been to Snarfburger for more years than I can recall. When did a Snarfburger become a wierdly small niblet on a stale bun? I mean, rediculously small. Along the lines of what a restaurant would give you as a kids burger. Fries are "OK" and the rings are cheap frozen over-breaded generic foodservice product. I guess when you're almost right next to the high school, you can afford to put whatever out there and it'll sell. I feel ripped-off even at $12 + $2.50 tip for a single burger and frings. Oh well, maybe I just don't remember why I hadn't been there in so long...but this would do it. Now that our town has been, and continues to be, completely overrun, Arapahoe is usually a disaster so easy to skip it.

BEWARE. I wish I could give 0 stars. If you order a milkshake off of DoorDash, expect to receive a block of ice. The only reason I ordered anything from here tonight was for the milkshake. I am not sure how they made this terrible mistake but it is incredibly insulting. Don't give your customers blocks of ice? Give them what they ordered. Also the burger and onion rings weren't even good. Don't waste your time or money! Go to Shake Shack instead.

Chose this because of the prices and it was great! $6 for a grilled cheese and fries. Everything was super hot and prepared well and friendly staff to top it off. A great quick stop for good "fast food!"

We found this place through Yelp when looking for a small local business to support while we were visiting. We were not disappointed. You can order from menu or create your own. The burgers were delicious and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed her milkshake. The seating is mostly outside at picnic tables with shade and was perfect. We would love to see Snarfbugers expand to the east coast!

I drove from Erie to try snarf burger since we love snarf sandwiches. This place was definitely the greasy burger whole in the wall joint. It isn't the cleanest lots of flies. But the food is soak up your drunken self, eat your feelings go to that is for sure nothing healthy about this place lol. But damn the double cheeseburger greasy and delicious all the toppings were great not soggy. The frings a combo of their fries n onion rings greasy n crispy good. And chocolate shake that and flies everywhere dropped it to 4 stars it wasn't really cold. I went at 2pm on a Wednesday and it was slammed w take out Uber orders and constant people coming in ordering and sitting on patio. Wish I took a picture. Nothing fancy about this place limited parking lot and no where to sit inside but outside had patio tables w a walk up window.

In honor of National Hamburger Day the wife and I decided to go out and get us a delicious burger. Snarfs never fails to deliver. Their burgers are so delicious. My go to is the Double Snarf sans hot sauce and Mayo and add bacon green chiles. This combo is a flavor explosion. My favorite and go to side with this are the onion rings. They are better than the fries in opinion. The double is quite a bit of food, but I always seem to power through it because of its deliciousness! The vibe in the Boulder location is laid back. The employees are super cool and they have good taste in music. They are usually busy so call and order ahead to avoid waiting!

(find positivity at end of review, this is definitely a rant) Cold burger because the employees don't have enough disposable intellect to call out names of pickup orders when they've been sitting around, after i paid for it and went outside which is the normal waiting spot. No direction on where to wait. I guess I'm supposed to pay for it and come back inside and ask if they have it? Makes no sense. Also, they ran out of cheese while i was here, so there's that. horrible experience, like wow. Is it that hard? No. I've worked a burger chain before. Just really poor experience, especially when this was my reward after a tough final. Employees appear to be drifting through their shift without consideration for customers. That being said, this place has the best onion rings i have EVER had. those things are a work of art. It's up there for burgers too! Hot sauce is a great addition. For that reason, three stars from me. Get two more from me via a better order pickup system and employee consideration.

This is not the place to go for healthy food, but it is a great place to go for fast, affordable, delicious food. Although Snarfburger has the same owners as the sandwich shop Snarf's, the burger shop is a separate place with a separate menu and location, so take care to get that right. Parking is tight, but service is fast and friendly and a grilled cheese is $1.95. That's olden tymes pricing. Eat here when your finances dictate, or maybe if you just want a tasty, calorie heavy meal.

this place was not as great as we thought it was going to be. it was a quick wait but the food was not as awesome. neither their fries or onion rings are gluten free (just a psa to the gluten free people). i got the veggie burger lettuce wrapped but they were out of lettuce wraps so they put it in a bowl. the veggie burger was hard and crispy like burnt. it was not good. we also got another burger which was just not that great either. wish i had something better to say :/ just not a great food experience for us

Took kids to Pearl Street for the day, since friend had never been to Boulder. It was a gorgeous March day and we walked until they were getting hungry. I've been to many places off Pearl Street and feel it is over-priced tourist BS, so found this place down the road. We had a great parking spot, so we decided to walk down Arapahoe. This is a little joint that you order at the counter and then they call your name out the back door. We found a picnic table outside and waited for our order. This lunch was great and the kids all ate their double burgers, fries and split a strawberry and oreo shake. Girls all got the plain double burger and boys got a Triple "B" and Hatch Burger. I loved my Hatch burger and kids had nothing left on the plate. I accidently bought an extra double burger that was snarffed up the next day by one of the girls!! This is my new go-to in Boulder; due to cost, service, and quality.

Who goes on break at 12:30 during rush hour lunch the Worst employees. Normally love this place but the way it's run gets worse and worse

I was really excited to try Snarfburger! I had driven by there multiple times and love a great burger. The idea that it is a "food stand burger" enticed me. These are often the best (I Iove a good dive!). I arrived and the guys working were fantastic. So check for good service. I was a little surprised by the price but if it's an excellent burger, I'll happily pay it. I got my order to go - I live close by so it was still hot when I got home. I was really surprised that the burger was pretty tasteless and dry. It was cooked perfectly (even just a little pink) so it's odd that it would be dry. That tells me about the quality of beef. The onion rings were not good at all. They are way over-breaded. I was super disappointed. On to find that great burger somewhere else.

Good burgers, great service, decent pricing. The only downside is the lack of parking. Since they are located so close to the UC Boulder campus, the parking situation is a bit dicey, and it took us longer to find a good place to park in the neighborhood than it did for them to make our burgers.

Greasy burger goodness at Snarfburger! I had to try this place and am glad I did! This is a real greasy spoon! I can't imagine what you smell like after a shift working the grill in this little burger joint. Thin, greasy burgers, hot dogs, a couple sandwiches including Fried Bologna, custard, a few seats inside and a few tables outside. Very simple and effective! The place was absolutely packed with people and it reminded me of Charlie's in Folsom...until I got my food anyway... My burgers were pretty good...a bit overcooked, but the cheese really helped with that...The shakes are a bit of a letdown...They don't have real ice cream and you can tell your shake is a fake. I'd like to go back when they weren't swamped to see if the burger is better prepared. I happened to be here on 4.20.16 and heard the grill girl say "this is the only holiday we are busy." What a riot!

After an eventful day of rafting in Boulder creek, this place absolutely hit the spot. I had the mushroom Swiss burger and I'm honestly trying to think of ways they could have made the meal any better but I don't think there was a chance. If your looking for an absolute nuke to make your afternoon better, or a casual meal to brag about and put on your snap story, this IS IT. FUEGO!

I used to come into Snarfburger very frequently, a few times a week, in the 3 years I lived in Boulder. It was always one of my favorite go to spots. I was in there recently, and I paid an extra 30% more for a burger and fries, $9 and change. My burger had 2 pickles on it, jammed into the far left of the bun, there was one tomatoe, that didn't even cover the bun, once again, awkwardly placed, with a sprinkle of browned lettuce. They got rid of their serrano sauce and The fries were soggy, and overall, the experience left me with a stomach ache for $9 bucks. I don't think I'll ever eat at Snarf Burger ever again, which is sad, cause It used to be one of the only spots I'd go for a good burger at a fair price, quality control, and check your staff, they didn't seem to care at all, in the slightest.

It was good, but not the best I have had. The fries seem like they are frozen than fried, the burgers were good, but I am GF so I just took the bun off and it was dry and not much flavor. I guess I am super picky when it comes to burgers, if I can make a better burger then it doesn't really lend me the flexibility to give them a fantastic rating. 5 is most amazing I will come back over and over, and recommend tobothers, 4 is I would come back and I might have a favorite dish, but three is I liked it for that meal but I would not go our of my way to have it again and I wouldn't recommend it. There seemed to be a lot of people that lived it. Really busy!

This is a cute little college neighborhood burger joint that's easy to miss yet​ offers up some good burgers. They have a great selection on their top wall above the counter. They're also cheap, something you usually don't get with good burgers. I had their Bologna Burger which purportedly​ had a patty and plenty of toppings, but... the actual order was their Bologna Sandwich, which was different. I had to ask for a patty in order to make it a burger, and the cook gave me one off the grill. I advise those who order from the top wall selection to check their orders after receiving them to make sure they are correct. Great food but prone to messing up orders. Mistakes happen, but don't let them get repeated. I'm now a fan, and I'll be back for more burgers.

Snarf burger is a bit of a dive but the food is fantastic. The place is pretty small and the bulk of the eating space is outside at umbrella covered picnic tables. Don't let that deter you! There are a few other items on the menu, but the reason you come here is for the burger. The local beef is very flavorful, smashed and seared on a flat top grill, and comes with a load of toppings. I added mushrooms for an extra $.50 and they were totally worth it. The special spicy peppers are a great add on too and paired well with the shrooms. The bun was a fresh style and was a great bread to meat ratio. Note, burgers come with hot sauce on them. I think this is a delicious plus, but some do not. The fries and onion rings are also scrumptious. You can get a mix of both, they call it frings. One order of frings is enough for one person. Next time, I will try a shake but I'm just to full for any more on this visit.

Sorry Snarfburger I have to take away a star. I know you had a sad summer with Arapahoe under construction almost cutting off access and your business dropped precipitously. So much so that we feared nothing would be fresh so we didn't go either. Well, the road is open, school is in session and I drove by and saw a mob there all week so I thought I'd give you another try. The burger was fine, the grilled onions really make it special. veggies were fresh and I could taste the hot sauce but it did not dominate. I always skip the mayo and mustard. I still think the bottom of the roll is just a little too solid for a single, but I think probably nearly everyone gets the double so I'll give you that one. If you want to see a slice of Boulder students, from HS to CU, this is the place. And they are loud! After all it is Friday of the first week of classes and the start of a holiday weekend. The place really was jammed. Which leads me to the condition of the fries. They were hot out of the fryer. They could not make them fast enough. Which means they did not drain them, just popped them into bags. The top third of the order was yummy. But the rest were inedible, brown with fryer oil which also pooled in the bottom of the bag and started draining out through the bottom. Really bad situation. Get more help, let the line go a little slower so you put out the good product you had in the beginning and deal with the flies. Most fast food places in the neighborhood have them, they have become annoying and you all need to clean it up.

I won't over hype it, but if you are getting a burger in boulder and it isn't from ten ten or the cork or fast food this is where you go (and honesty both those places have gone way down hill lately and fast food is only for road trip emergencies)! People love to gab about five guys or in and out or even some Colorado places, save your breath and money. Yes, they can mess up your order, but get over it and ask for a new one. This is a college town with idiots serving idiots for almost a century.... Not only do they have great burgers, they are part of Snarf's, which is the best gd sandwich restaurant in the world. Nuff said. Thunder Cats Roar!

This place has a tonnn of hype, so my fiancé and I were excited to try it. Unfortunately they seemed to have a problem with their shipments because they were out of everything. No fountain drinks, onion rings, veggie burgers, take out bags, my fiancé even got two stale bottom buns on his burger?? That being said, I can see how the place would be great when they are actually stocked. Maybe I'll get to try it again some time.

There is room for improvement. I had a double burger with cheese, fries, and a soda. My double was over cooked with hard meat patties, yet lukewarm when it was served to me. My fries were also lukewarm, when they should be hot and fresh. I am sure they put out better food than what was given, I'm just not sure how consistently.

Best burger place in town. I go here all the time with my friends to get a quick bite and I've never one been disappointed. It's cheap fast and delicious!

Definitely the best burger joint in Boulder. They do very unorthodox toppings but somehow it works out so well. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quick and relatively cheap eat. Well worth your time!

The burgers were good, but that was one of the most disgusting restaurants we have ever been in. There were flies EVERYWHERE hovering around the dirty trash cans, drink station, and tables. There was even a full fly trap hanging from the ceiling that no one had bothered to change. The flies and general odor got so bad that we had to wait outside for our food. You might as well go to Five Guys -- the burgers are just as good and I bet you would never walk into a location that's as gross as this Snarfburger location.
