Here’s a Closer Look at Denver’s First Snarfburger - Eater Denver

"Denver now has a Snarfburger to call its own as the retro burger stand, which celebrated its grand opening on Wednesday, is now slinging burgers and 'frings' at 2535 Federal Boulevard near Jefferson Park in Denver. The self-proclaimed 'throwback burger shack' is the latest creation of Snarf’s Sandwiches founder and chef-owner Jimmy 'Snarf' Seidel, who opened the first (and until now only) Snarfburger near the CU and Naropa University campuses in Boulder six years ago. Like the Boulder original, the new Federal outpost, which Seidel said took a year-and-a-half to get up and running, is focused on serving up a simple menu of burgers, fries, custard and other burger stand staples at an affordable price point. The burgers, it’s $4.25 for a single and $6.25 for a double, are made with beef from the Peyton, Colorado-based Anderson Meat Company, which distributes all-natural beef from local ranches. They come loaded with traditional toppings, but Seidel recommends also adding a dash of his housemade giardiniera (a spicy Italian relish of mixed pickled vegetables). There is also a veggie burger and, in keeping with the burger stand theme, hot dogs served with cheese and bacon. However, two of the more unusual items on the menu are the pork chop and fried bologna sandwiches. The three sides are fries, onion rings and frings (a mix of the two). For dessert, there’s chocolate, vanilla and swirl frozen custard, which comes served in a cup with a choice of toppings that includes M&Ms, crushed Oreos, Reese’s Pieces and gummy bears. That custard is also used in shakes and concretes. The small restaurant, which maintains a simple burger stand vibe, features indoor counter seating as well as a colorful outdoor patio space. The Federal Snarfburger, which is open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., will soon be joined by a second Denver location at 11th and Ogden Avenues in Capitol Hill. Seidel said he is in the processing of staffing that location and hopes to announce an opening date soon. He indicated more Denver area locations could eventually follow. 'We’ll see but I think we have a lot space for Snarfburger in town,' Seidel said. 'The response to the burgers has been fantastic and it’s right in line with what we do so I think we can have a lot of success with it.'" - Paul Albani-Burgio

Google
I got the hatch green chile burger, fries, and a custard with heath pieces. All of it was really good, and loved how crisp the fries were. The staff was really nice, too!

Mindy Lai

Google
FRINGS should be normalized!!! Both burgers were great, this got the rating it did because in comparison to the experience at Snarf Sandwiches, this was subpar. The sandwich shop, which I still need to review because I ate it so fast… was A+ compared to here. The burgers are sloppy and filled with sauce so if that’s your thing, gooooo. Highlight was really the FRINGS.

Ashley K.

Google
You go for the food not the atmosphere. Came in tonight(4/16) and there was ONE guy working - register and grill— and it was BUSY!!! He was working so hard and killing it, but come one get him some help! Thanks so much for the good food and hope you get some good tips or a shoutout from Snarfs man. Fire burgers

Lucas Cromer

Google
Amazing burgers and sides, make sure to check out the shakes too! Very small business with an amazing sandwich shop nextdoor. If you want a burger, fries or rings, this is the place for sure, cheers!

Christy Kidwell

Google
Love a good snarfburger! I tried the special they had The Hatch Supreme… it was ok… honestly there was just way too much sauce on it and it just started to fall apart. It was supposed to have a fancy aioli but it was more like a ton of hot sauce on both buns. I ended up removing 1 of the buns and ate it simi open faced. The fries and onion rings were fine but they kinda tasted like I imagined the walk in freezer smells. I ate the all so it was terrible but it’s definitely been better. I will be back even though this trip was just ok.

Google
I travel all over this country and I look for locally owned places to eat. This place is close to my hotel near downtown and I was impressed. No pressed frozen patty’s here. They smash real beef right on the flat top. I got the bacon guac burger and was not disappointed. Fresh meat. Crispy bacon and delicious guacamole. The onion rings were crispy and cooked perfectly just like the burger. Cool vibes coming from inside with loud music and employee’s looking like they love their job. Everyone was super friendly. The long table outside with the tractor seats is a unique feature and surprisingly comfortable. If you’re in Denver and don’t eat here you truly missed out. Nailed it!!

Google
Maui Wowee burger is damn delicious. Onion Rings and Fries are top notch too.

John Davenport

Google
Snarfburger feels like a classic burger joint that I remember from my youth. The onion rings were awesome, and the dubbel was a big bit. For the amount of food, it was less expensive than th big McD chain.I can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Basic burger place on Federal Blvd. Snarf's is running a promotion on Monday's in January where you get double points on their rewards program. This is small place geared toward takeout and outside dining when warmer. I sat at one of the 6 stools on the inside counter. Prices are low with a single patty burger starting at $6.75 with multiple free toppings. Their specialty burgers are all double patties up to $10.10 each. They also have sandwiches, fries, frings, onion rings and tater tots. Multiple frozen drinks and others. I got the 2 patty Hatch Supreme with hatch green chili, pepper jack cheese, bacon and their hot Giardiniera aioli at a reduced price. I also got an order of hot onion rings (2 large and 3 small) with free bbq sauce for dipping plus a chocolate malt. I will be back at Snarfburger later this month.

Yelp
Dropped by Snarfburger on our way home after running errands all day and this burger hit the spot!!! So yummy and the onion rings were fire! Can't wait to go back!!!
google avatar

Alvin B.

Yelp
The burger here was far more flavorful and provided better value compared to any other fast-food burger place. The fries and tater tots were equally delicious! Service was lightning fast, and the employees were polite and well-mannered. I will definitely come back.
google avatar

Yelp
Great takeout quick burger spot. The fries were so yummy - thin and crispy. The burger is like a smash burger. They have outdoor seating and the interior is like a grab and go situation. It smells so good while you are in there waiting for your burger. Seems this place is a bit understaffed so I waited a little while but they were upfront about that and very nice while i was ordering! Get the chocolate malted milkshake... you won't regret it!
google avatar

Yelp
Great burger stand! I definitely prefer it over their sandwich counterpart. The burgers are pretty good. It's definitely what you would expect of a classic American cheeseburger. Their fries are also well seasoned and cooked

Yelp
My husband and I picked up Snarfburgers and frings togo on our very hungry way home from visiting my parents. Even though they had a sign up asking customers to be patient as they were short staffed I felt like our wait time was very reasonable considering the fact that they cooked our food to order. The restaurant was clean . There isn't any seating inside, but there is a counter with stools out front. However, area isn't fenced in and is framed by a parking lot and Federal, so we took our food home since we were there with our toddler. The fring basket was super yummy but I didn't love my burger. It just wasn't that tasty. My husband really enjoyed his though, and my son gobbled the burger and bun slices we shared with him. I'd be willing to give it another try and order differently.

Cher T.

Yelp
I ordered a Snarfburger with a small frozen custard, and my spouse ordered a double Snarfburger with fries. They correctly left off the ingredients we requested to be removed, but we both paid for bacon on our sandwiches, which neither of us received ($3.30 charge). We placed an online order, and arrived 7 to 10 minutes before it was supposed to be ready to find it was already ready to go which meant the custard had started to melt and the fries were no longer hot. The chocolate custard with Heath topping was quite good, despite starting to melt already when we picked it up. The burgers were just okay. The single Burger does not have a good meat to bread ratio leaving you tasting mostly the bun, and the double burger was very messy. They were better than fast food, but not by a huge difference.

Yelp
Ordered Snarf off Door Dash. The patties were disgustingly dry. It tasted liked someone George Foreman grilled some Walmart frozen Pattie's until they were completely dried out. Fries and rings were stale and soggy. I was starving so it was edible. A rip off none the less. I swear to god you can get better quality and bigger burgers from Wendy's for much less. Inflation is at 9%. While places like this hike prices up 20-30% for low quality food. Decrease quality. Increase price. Classic big business move smh. Won't be ordering from them again.
google avatar

Rayna H.

Yelp
Okay I'm updating an old review that I made a couple years ago. Last time I ordered from them I got a soggy mess of a burger. I was not so happy with it. I ordered again yesterday because I saw that they were now offering gluten free buns with their burger and I was really pleasantly surprised why what was delivered. The burger was fresh, juicy, and tasty tasty! Burgers are so much better with a bun than a lettuce wrap (IMO) so I'm glad that they are now offering this for us gluten free peeps :) I will definitely order from here going forward because I think they have a good thing going. Thanks for adding GF buns to the menu!

Yelp
We found this place on yelp. We were staying at a hotel not too far away. The burger was very good and very messy. There is no place to sit inside, only some seats outside. It did take awhile to make our family order. However, they told us this information up front and said they only had one burner working.

Aly H.

Yelp
Welcoming and timely service, I enjoyed venturing out to try the signature Snarf Burger. The slightly spicy sauce adds the perfect zest to a medium, well cooked burger. The restaurant setting was inviting to the community with a small business board and was prepared for takeout, pick up, or carrier service. I appreciated interacting with the team and can not wait to enjoy more of their suggestions. *I ordered the scarf burger with onion rings and a reeses frozen custard*

Yelp
I'm quite disappointed from the wonderful experience from Snarf Sandwiches to trying Snarf Burgers as the pic the burger looks great! Well looks can be deceiving as I'll start with the bun it was very dry and crumbled on first bite and had fallen apart by the end of the burger on the the patties now they were cooked well done just like I like it but I tasted nothing no seasoning, nothing so overall I tasted nothing it had gauc besides that I'm not sure what else actually was supposed to go on it but it was very dry. No mayo no ketchup or mustard just bun, gauc, cheese 2 patties and bacon. Some seasoning and a toasted fresh bun would have made this experience slightly better as the location overall was just filthy. The fries were fries pretty standard nothing spectacular as they could have sprinkled some the fry seasoning on the burger the snarf sandwich locations never disappoints 10/10 burgers 2.5/10 and fries 3/10 could be cooked slightly crispier and the seasoning was there I ate in the parking lot and the fries were lukewarm as she started fries way before the cook came out the bathroom lol actually didn't even know he was in there lol and makes sense why she was doing the fries. No ambiance and needed a good cleaning, swept and mopped. Although I can say the service was good not great but good. I may pass on Snarf burger in the future as I would rather have a good times burger over snarfs and I don't eat fast food.

Katrina S.

Yelp
Sandwiches are always good... Just a little pricey. The toasty bread is what makes it!

Yelp
The Triple B without BBQ sauce is quite literally the best burger I've ever had in my life. What do y'all put in that burger to make it taste so yummy??? At first, I thought I was just really hungry so any meal would've tasted like the best meal ever, but I got 2 burgers and had half of the other one the next morning. That burger was chefs kiss!

Yelp
Cheapest and fastest delivery yet! Fresh, made-to-order burgers have been in the back of my mind as of late. I can't even pinpoint the last burger I had out, it's been a hot minute. After much deliberation (scrolling every delivery app known to man for way too long), my senses were drawn to an all-American burger. Big fan of Snarf's to begin with, so frankly I'm not surprised they bring their same mentality to Snarfburger. They're like the classic burger shack of yesteryear. And those are the burgers and fries this guy likes! The Snarfburger - Double patty for $6.95. All beef patty w/ cheese, LTO, pickle, mayo, mustard, ketchup and hot sauce. I mean, look at my photo, it's a sexy concoction if you ask me. Sauce oozing out, charred patties, perfectly melted cheese, and a soft bun. The addition of hot sauce is their calling card and I think it worked well. You gotta get some Frings with your burger, right? Half fries, half onion rings and the fries were great. My one small critique was the temperature of them being lukewarm. I can't wait for the Snarf's empire to open their doors again. For now, settling for delivery isn't that much of a sacrifice!

Tonya R.

Yelp
My burger patty didn't even cover half of the bun. Recieved cold! Really love Snarf sandwiches and have never gotten a bad one but the burger wasn't even close to a good meal. waste of money.
google avatar

Emily S.

Yelp
We have had snarf burgers several times and I love their burgers. Last night we ordered $90 worth of burgers and every single order was wrong which is so frustrating but the icing on the cake was the totally raw meat. So after getting passed the missing or incorrect toppings/bun/ lettuce wraps, etc; we could even eat the meat because it was so raw and I'm deeply disappointed in whoever sent this raw meat out the door.
google avatar

Jaylee M.

Yelp
The service here was good the staff was very friendly when I went. The area was also nice and seemed cleanly. Although here was the big catch, me and my boyfriend both ate from here for the first time and we both got some degree of food poisoning. I noticed my burger was quite a bit pink but I didn't think much of it, as I like my meat medium rare. This was the only new thing we had ate and we both gotten sick from it. Unless u want a road to the runs and vomiting stear clear. UPDATE: owner responded and was interested in contacting me about the food poisoning issue. We exchanged emails and I gave them my phone number. I wanted to at least possibly get a refund or make sure they're being more safe for other consumers, and they never replied again.

Yelp
My first random visit (thanks to yelp and proximity), including 2 teenagers in our group. We all loved it! Hole in the wall atmosphere a plus, very authentic. The combination of their signature sauces and toppings was very tasty! Fries and onion rings were both good. One person in our group had a specialty sandwich, a Cuban, he loved it so much he wouldn't share, lol. My recommendation is ... definitely worth a try!

Yelp
Such an incredible disappointment for a place that hitches their star to a sandwich place that we've absolutely loved over the past several years. I am sorry to be saying this, but Snarfburger is a HARD PASS. This place is garbage, which, again, makes me incredibly sad. I will go into more detail in a moment, but let me warn you, there is zero reason to give this establishment a first or second look. If you make the mistake of ordering pickup or delivery here, you will certainly not get what you bargained for...unless you're in the mood for a headache and a dissatisfying meal. If you're looking for a smash-burger type of meal, go anywhere beside this place. Okay, here is our personal experience. We ordered two burgers and two sides. The sides were what you'd expect from any run of the mill quick service restaurant place (i.e. McDonalds, Wendy's, Burger King, etc.), which means they come out of a bag frozen and are thrown into the fryer (trust me, I've worked for a distributor and sold these items every day to this kind of establishment). So, the sides are as boring as you'd expect. What was severely disappointing were the burger patties themselves. You'd expect that a place offering a "smash burger" would actually use ground beef that they smashed into the burger Patty you'd be craving...I'm sorry to say that, with my expertise, these are also pre-cooked burger patties they simply throw on the griddle or fry for a few seconds. And it is clearly evident...there's no inspiration or genuineness to what they do. They are simply trying to knock off Shake Shack or Smash Burger, but they're trying to pass themselves off as the "local place" (hilarious since their sandwich concept has quickly morphed into a multi-state empire - don't even get me started about how scant their sandwiches have become). As I promised earlier in my "open letter", I'll now share our particular experience with this juke joint. As aforementioned, we ordered two burgers and two sides. With regard to the sides, I've already expressed my 'blah' experience, so I'll refrain from addressing that again. So...let's focus on the burgers. We ordered two of them...a single hatch green chile burger with the normal fixings and a double Reuben burger with the normal fixings. What we received was a DOUBLE hatch green chile burger that was an incredible mess (toppings all over the place and basically fused to the wrapper and a Reuben burger that was a SINGLE reuben burger with no cheese that was also an incredible mess. Two burgers, almost no alterations and they still couldn't get it right. Just when you think it couldn't get worse, both of the burgers had burger patties that were torched and had ZERO flavor...likely because they're pre-packed or even pre-cooked and thrown onto the grill or in the microwave. What's worse is that they use an aggregator (run of the mill DoorDash, Grubhub, etc.). Good luck with these folks. When we tried to dispute the charge because of the garbage that was delivered to our home, we were given a $5 resolution. Mind you, this didn't even come close to covering half of what we paid for one of the two garbage "burgers" that were brought to our home. Save yourself a frustrating experience and look elsewhere.

Martina G.

Yelp
Yum, yum!! Food was great as always tonight 7/28/23... ordered late, picked up late..9:30pm ish... and great team as always working diligently and kosher. love my local Snarfburger on 11th in Ogden in Capital Hill.. you won't be disappointed... grab a milkshake to go also... so creamy and delicious .I want the recipe.. trust me I don't lie and I don't do ice cream very well.. (chocolate is my fav)
google avatar

Kevin N.

Yelp
They're not open for dine in but you can come in and order it to go. They have 2 tables nearby you can eat at if you want. If you're a fan of snarf sandwiches you've got to give Snarfburger a try! I got the Hatch Burger. It was perfectly spicy and just a solid burger. Fries were perfectly done. The milkshake was good but a little on the thicker side. I had to let it sit for a while before I could really drink it.
google avatar

Chris H.

Yelp
The burger are pretty good but the kitchen a complete disaster. Online orders are constantly late, or sitting there under the heat lamp, eventually getting cold by the time you get it. I'd say a pretty average burger at best. You can get better burgers at their price point to be honest.
google avatar

Andrea S.

Yelp
I had a craving for a burger (the salad I've been having for lunch the last few days wasn't going to cut it) so my husband and I decided to try a new burger spot for pickup. I tried one of the monthly speciality burgers, the guac burger. It was HUGE... double patty, bacon, cheese, and all the fixings that come on each burger. I am proud (and not so proud) to say I ate 3/4 of it. It was just too much burger for me! The burger also needed some seasoning... just a little salt and pepper would have made it a 4 star rating. I also ordered a side of frings... half fries, half onion rings. Definitely a sold choice!
google avatar

Dave B.

Yelp
3.49 truncated to 3. We stopped in for lunch today and enjoyed our burgers and frings. A much better deal than Shake Shack. Much better food and service than Smashburger. Will definitely return. + One burger was cooked medium with no specified temp. One burger was cooked medium rare as ordered. Good value for a cheeseburger. + Frings were crispy. + Service was friendly. Especially from the cook. + Habanero hot sauce is muy picante. - Seating is very poor. Not many inside seats and no tables. It was way too bright to sit outside and Federal Blvd is not soothing. We went next door to Snarf's for much better seating. - No Apple Pay. No contactless credit card. Swipe required and then the cashier demanded my signature. - Wi-Fi was pathetically slow. - Paper napkins. In summary, good food and prices. Not the best eating (eat in) environment.

A p.

Yelp
Great burgers. Love the sauce, patties, buns, everything. Hits the spot every time. Can't speak much for the service or ambiance, as I usually get takeout, but the service is relatively quick and I haven't had any problems.
google avatar

Hilary W.

Yelp
I love snarfs so like how could I not love snarfburger?! I was hesitant at first because bologna but the fried bologna sandwich is nothing to mess with. Also the burgers, yum, that hot sauce addition is key. Get the frings (obviously). Side note: I love eating at restaurants so a wait never bothers me, but be prepared for a wait. Atleast you know it's fresh
google avatar

Shelby H.

Yelp
So every time whenever I come in here to do the DoorDash I've always get a rude experience, the employees are so freaking rude. Like just today on February 28 I was doing a DoorDash and on my end it just says Snarfs doesn't say Snarfs Burger or Snarfs sandwich or anything but once I went in they told me in a rude tone that oh it's snarfs sandwich, even the employees at Snarf's Sandwiches even agree with Me, I hope that the manager or owner sees this and actually do something about their customer service
google avatar

Skyler Z.

Yelp
Skip this place. Ordered through DoorDash and they forgot our concretes (don't know whose fault that was.) Got the mushroom Swiss. Super dry burger. Even if I did add ketchup or Mayo which doesn't really belong it wouldn't have helped. They're small little burgers too, so if you eat a lot get 2 I guess. Onion rings were a bit sweet for my taste although the fries were okay and would have been good if hot. Only reason I gave it 2 stars is cuz my boyfriend liked his burger which was the guacamole and bacon. Update: boyfriend had diarrhea last night.
google avatar

Steve O.

Yelp
The good rings are back!! And so is the 5th star!! Maybe it was an aberration or stopgap measure before, or maybe management listens to reviews. Whatever it was, I can again recommend that everyone try the onion rings here.
google avatar

Raymond W.

Yelp
This place was really good. We had the A-1 Spicy burger and the bologna sandwich along with fries. First thing I want to mention is that the grilled onions were excellent. Most places do not give you enough but that is not a complaint here. The hot peppers were just right amount of heat, similar to what you get on a Chicago dog. The staff was nice and food was fresh cooked and fast. I wish they had better air conditioning and some seating inside but that is not a big deal. It looks like they are meant to be a carry out.

Eric E.

Yelp
Burger was great. Fries were cold. Projected time through grub hub was off. Food was sitting on the counter, not under a warmer, when I arrived 10 minutes before pickup time.
google avatar

Maggie E.

Yelp
Tried this burger stand for the first time today - it's great! Friendly staff and good food. We got one hot dog to split, plus a burger and fries each, and it was around $27 total. He loved the bologna burger and I loved my cheeseburger. Will go again.
google avatar

Dominique S.

Yelp
I've never had a snarf sandwich but if they're anything like these juicy, BEEFY, magical burgers, they're probably also worth a try! This place is a MUST have if you want a satisfying and BOMB burger. *they do GF buns AND lettuce wraps. They also have a veggie burger and a fried chicken sandwich

Brian L.

Yelp
This place is pretty great. I'd recommend eating it right away though. Kind of messy and doesn't hold up real well to go.
google avatar

Andy T.

Yelp
I'd heard about this place and even passed it a few times but made a point to stop and experience it. I'm already a fanatical fan of Snarf's sandwiches so this came as a natural progression. With my first visit I felt it was appropriate to try the original Snarfburger without any additions or subtractions. It's a double meat patty "smash" style burger with the usual trimmings but with Swiss as well as American cheese and an unexpectedly good zesty addition: hot sauce. Just hot sauce, but this humble condiment really wakes things up. As was told to me, these burgers are meant to be eaten right away. Don't insult them by carrying them any further than a table or your car. They come out hot and are so good and juicy, you'll want to get the whole life-force of the burger while it's fresh. Mine was almost too hot to hold but that didn't slow me down much. By the last bite it was still nice and warm and I was DIGGING it. I was plenty satisfied but I wish I could've eaten another. The following day I did come back and decided to try the mushroom and Swiss, which was also REALLY good and REALLY juicy as the photo shows. Of course I'll be back and I will probably try to work my way through the menu because they have some really great looking burgers shown (Buffalo style? Let me at it!). Granted I managed to hit them slightly after the lunch hour, but I didn't wait long for my burger so I'd probably consider them almost fast food (made-to-order of course). For a fast food burger, they redefine the experience for me. This is not only worth a stop, it's worth a trip from anywhere (says the guy who drives from Denver to Idaho Springs for a grilled cheese).
google avatar

Bradlee K.

Yelp
Have always loved this spot but it's disappointing the last 2 times on both our sandwiches they've forgotten the bacon on the triple B... which is the B in the sandwich's name? It's frustrating because I only get one or two precious cheat meals a week and I finally gave snarf burger another chance - just to feel like it's missing something... I'd suggest checking your burg if you're gonna get it to go.
google avatar

Megan B.

Yelp
Holy sh*t. This burger just sky-rocketed to my favorite in Denver. I ordered takeout due to the COVID outbreak and the guy on the phone was super nice and patient while taking my order. Got there and saw its a small joint which during dining hours will probably only seat a handful of people or so. Anywho, ordered the snarfburger with all the toppings, added bacon with a side of frings. The onion rings were heavily breaded making them crunchy not soggy and the fries had a really nice and noticeably flavourful seasoning. The house made ranch was some of the best I've had and didn't give that overly sour/dairy taste. The burger itself was well cooked and the hot sauce on top was a really great touch that wasn't too spicy. The partnership of toppings made this burger very moist and flavorful. Honestly, this was just a fantastic burger with quality ingredients and had sauce oozing out the sides, just how I like it. I can't wait to order here again. Like, seriously will probably order tomorrow.
google avatar

Jennette R.

Yelp
We were in town for an appointment and were early so we drove around trying to find a place to grab a bite to eat. What a great find! Great choices. Everything we had was yum! The Chicago dog was just a nice treat. Get the Frings! While in crisis mode, the cashier was super friendly. Definitely worth a stop at this small mom and pop joint!

B W.

Yelp
Came in right before they closed. I wasn't hopeful, but I was able to order. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. I'll come back.
google avatar

Eric S.

Yelp
Can stop cooking high? Ordered a bacon guacamole burger and asked for no guacamole bc it was cheaper then adding bacon. Y'all didn't put bacon on the burger but put guacamole. Now the second burger you also forgot the bacon. Get it together
google avatar

Melissa C.

Yelp
We had the Hatch Burger and the Spicy A-1. They were both so good. The Hatch had really good flavor but not too spicy. The A-1 had a great strong onion flavor, less spicy than expected.
google avatar

Adrienne E.

Yelp
I've been driving by for months, wanting to try Snarfburger, and today was finally the day. I ordered a veggie burger and a side of frings, with high expectations. Unfortunately, the food was all around pretty underwhelming. The fries and onions rings were a little bit soggy and they were bland. The veggie burger was just weird. I don't know if they make their own patties, but they were just odd and not particularity tasty. Their veggie burger would honestly be instantly improved if they just started using frozen Morningstar Farms black bean patties instead of whatever is in their current ones. If you're a meat eater, maybe the burgers are worth trying. But you are looking for a veggie burger, you might as well pass on this.

Yelp
I found Snarfburger in Boulder this summer and have been happy with this new location in Denver. Bottom line is that you are going to a nice juicy, messy burger for a great price. The 2 cheeses that are on the Snarfburger give a nice smooth cheesey taste that mesh with the burger patties. Binus tip! Don't skip on the hot sauce, it's not blazing hot but gives the burger a little added kick! The fries are plentiful for under $2. Seating is limited, the restroom has always been clean when I have come in. Get here now before the rest of Denver catches on, it's good enough to have them waiting in line

Yelp
So excited...I dont have to drive to Boulder anymore I can stay in my hood and get these great burgers, fries and shakes. I cannot understate how good these juicy tasty burgers are. They have coke products and crunchy ice. This is also a small joint with just seven stools to sit on at the window bar BUT you can step next door and sit in the Snarfs Sandwich shop

Yelp
I enjoyed the burgers here but on my last visit I was disappointed to watch the cashier handle credit cards, adjust his misfitted mask then handle food all with same pair of gloves. Please have your cashiers change their gloves between handling food and touching credit cards/their mask. Ironically there is a large sign instructing patrons how to properly wear a mask. However, the cashier was guilty of being a "sniffer". Good burgers but poor food handling. A payment system that does not require the cashier to handle credit cards, changing gloves between tasks and a proper fitting mask is an easy fix.

Yelp
I got the snarfburger with avocado and mushrooms- it was stacked and because we took it home to eat I think it was a bit soggy. Fries were crispy and they have a hot sauce station with habanero, Serrano and sriracha sauces which I appreciated. Got the strawberry shake which was good too. Husbands burger looked better because he didn't get mushrooms so it wasn't soggy, instead he had bacon. If ordering out, would consider excluding the mushrooms for sogginess

Yelp
My favorite burger in Denver. The patties are nice and thin that always have a good crust on them, cheese gets gooey and melted, toppings are fresh, and the bun is fluffy goodness. They have a nice selection of premium burgers, but I usually just stick with the classic. For the price, it's hands down the best value in the city.

Yelp
Food was decent but the counter next to drink area/condiments was so dirty! All employees sitting at window when I threw my stuff away. Won't be back.
