This might be my only Google review ever so take this for what its worth. I ordered a breakfast sandwich from Snarfs and halfway through my sandwich I chewed on a piece of plastic inside the sandwich. It scratched my gum and I spit out. I went to Snarf's to get a refund and the manager looked at me with disbelief and grabbed the piece of plastic that was in my mouth as to inspect it without gloves. I warned him prior and he smugly took it and almost scoffed at the idea of plastic being in my sandwich. I work above Snarfs in the same building and have experienced issues before with small mistakes (such as the same sandwich was supposed to be on wheat, not white bread) but never something like this. I am not only disgusted with their food now as I have no idea what that plastic item was, but also with their service. A manager should not scoff at customers and smirk as if I was trying to pull a fast one on him. He should ensure that he would find out what that piece was so that it doesn't happen to another customer. I will never be coming back and neither will my coworkers after this.

I go to Snarf's almost every morning, and I love that they know my order. Call ahead if you don't want to wait for your sandwich. I'm a huge fan of the egg and cheeses, but I've been working my way through the lunch menu, and it's solid as well. The French Dip is great - so is the Roast Beef and Provolone and Turkey and Swiss. Think potbellys, but more customizable and better. They also have amazing baked goods, and the new trivia questions are a fun way to start my day.

Snarfs is placed in a prime location so they get a lot of foot traffic. Although they are always busy the sandwiches are just ok. Good but not great. The staff is very friendly and quirky so that is a positive. Overall if you dont have any other lunch options for the limited river north worker Snarfs is a good sandwich option.

French melt is the best. As well as their breakfast sandwhiches. The staff is very hipster but friendly. You might wait a little bit bc their sandwiches are cooked to order but they also have a online ordering system, which makes lunch much faster. Really good if you like hot sandwiches

There's a good amount of space in here, though it doesn't always feel very busy it's pretty loud between outside noise and the noise in the restaurant. Good options for vegetarian and gluten free eaters, but no vegan options out of the box. Not really a great value, but prices are pretty typical in the area and for the food.

I usually avoid their sandwiches because their bread is too hard. However their soups are delicious, especially the chicken mambo and chili soups. They do ice cream too, but I didn't care for it too much. Their hot chocolate is good.

Snarfs has the best breakfast sandwiches around. I work in the 600 West building and there aren't many food options so this is a must. The staff is very friendly and somewhat unkempt. Due to the lack of options in this area, Snarfs is a very good option.

Had the Italian Sandwich from a catered affair. It consists of salami, pepperoni, capicola and mortadella with provolone. Served on fresh-baked bread. This is by far my favorite sandwich from Snarf's. The sandwich is very tasty, holds together well and is great! They cost more than your average submarine sandwich, but they are good and convenient. #LocalGuides @GoogleLocalChi
