I have never been to a Snarfs before, and for my first time the William Cannon location was great! Plenty of parking as it’s in a shopping center, and as soon as you walk in you are greeted by friendly staff, an awesome Austin themed mural on the long counter, and some great throwback tunes.
I came around what I assume is the lunch rush as the were a good number of people waiting; my hot sandwich took about 12 minutes to come out.
The sandwich: I got the cheesesteak off the ‘’not on the menu” menu and it was delicious! Lots of roast beef and cheese, crusty bread, and the pickled veggies were a perfect compliment. My only complaint would be that the pickled vegetables weren’t spread evenly throughout the whole sandwich. But let’s be real, this is true for almost every sandwich I have ever ordered from any restaurant!
They have a standard selection of chips and cookies (chocolate chip, snickerdoodle, or white chocolate macadamia nut).
Overall it’s a bit on the expensive side but I’d come back again!
