Snarf's Sandwiches

We've been a lover of this location since they first opened a little over a year and a half ago and can't believe we've waited this long to commend them on their artistry and service! We've been to their multiple locations across Austin and they all are phenomenal, but we especially love this one for its ambiance and layout. They have a beautiful mosaic mural on the counter with a good amount of seating inside. Every time we've visited this location they've always greeted us upon entering, provided seamless ordering and a quick turn around on our order. PLUS our order always comes just as we ordered it, even with any additions we'v made. We've tried a variety of their sandwiches at this point and while they are all super good, hands down our favs have got to be the Big Fat Snarf, Italian Supreme, The Italian and honestly the kids pb and jelly (yes random, but damn its so simple yet tasty) We love the toastiness of their sandwiches and how loaded they make them all, plus they have a long list of options! Even gluten free and vegetarian! If you haven't yet been to a snarfs you MUST go! They will definitely cure any sandwich craving you're having!

Delicious toasted Italian sandwich. Victoria steered me in the right direction with really friendly service. Came out quick and despite the line, they moved through it fast. I was out in less than ten minutes in enough time to write this review and get back to work! Thanks Snarf!

Excellent service Fantastic food. Ordered a 12” Italian and asked if it could be cut in half so I could take half home. Counter help said I’ll do better than that and cut it in quarters for you. When my order was ready, half of my sandwich was wrapped to eat in the store and half was wrapped and bagged to take home. Now that is service I can live with.

Service at Snarfs on W William Cannon and Menchaca is AMAZING but I have to give it to Victoria. She makes the best salad I’ve had in my life! The Greek salad with prime rib…. EVERY TIME. Thank you guys, keep up the amazing work!

Snarfs in the past has been an ok enough sandwich and I do like how their non-gener bathrooms let people know it doesnt matter - just wash your hands. But today's sandwich was soggy and tasted strange. Not sure if it was from the pickle as I ordered mayo but it only had mayo on one side. Also, like everything else, it's gotten so high. This tiny sandwich and a drink was unfortunately not worth the $16. This is more of a reminder for myself as there are much better sandwiches all over town instead of going back here.

The whole crew is super friendly. Listen, anytime I walk into a place and they know my name and greet me with a smile… That’s a good place! AA thank you, Victoria for remembering! The sandwiches are 🔥 - an Austin staple not to be missed!

First time here. I had the Philly Cheese Steak. It was decent. A bit too salty for my taste, but overall it was good. I just wish they offered fries, but I ended up with a bag of chips. I would order here again and try something different.

I’ve been going to this Snarf’s since it opened. They know my go to order and my wife and I get food here once a week. She’s gluten free for celiac and their gluten free bread is solid. It’s a cornerstone of our normal week to week routine. We LOVE their sandwiches and we also love the people working there for providing such an awesome spot for a sandwich. They have a great rewards system too, so download the app.

These sandwiches were SOOOOO good, and the staff was amazing!!! I really enjoyed how friendly they all were and how the vibes of this place were emmaculate af. Ty for a new favorite sandwich spot!!!

What a fun vibe. Sandwiches always fresh! Bread is the best. A variety of chips and sides. Had the meatball sub. Was very tasty. Not soggy with too much sauce. Was perfection. The staff! Shout out! Always so friendly and helpful. Never rush you in making your order. If you are on a time crunch - may want to order ahead. Especially at lunch time. If not, sit back and read the Austin Chronicle and enjoy!

These sandwiches are very delectable! The bread is crunchy and light. All the toppings were fresh. The guy at the counter let us know it would take a little while, which I appreciated. I would rather you let me know then not. This is a great spot for a quick lunch.

Stopped by here after a meeting and ordered the Snarf cheesesteak. Customer service was friendly. They had quite a few online orders ahead of me so I waited several minutes to receive my order. When I got the sandwich home, I found it to be well made, and plenty cheesy which is my favorite part of any sandwich. Overall good experience and would definitely return.

At this moment... I have to declare this to be my favorite sandwich spot in Austin lol!! I was scrolling on DoorDash being fat and they popped up looking sooooo damn good!! I wasn't even hungry. I was a lil disappointed in the burnt bread on my peanut butter, banana and honey sandwich (ordered that for dessert and the other half as a late night snack) the cookie was trash... taste like it was from last week; but my Italian sandwich was PERFECT!

So I went to snarfs to see how it was, great food good customer service overall. It's clean and the vibe is great good music and one of the workers there knows me by name as well as my order. She always says hello and is super friendly. I dig it. It's a good south Austin vibe.

Online ordered and it was ready when I arrived. Shop was clean and service was attentive. Sandwich was ok. They seem to toast all their sandwiches which is not my preference.

Stopped by the newly opened Snarf's to try for the first time. This is their fourth location in Austin and I've heard good things about their Italian sandwich. I thought the service was very friendly. The Italian sub comes with mortadella, salami, pepperoni, capicola, and provolone cheese. There's also different toppings you can choose to add to customize the sub. You can choose from white or wheat bread (or even gluten free). I really enjoyed the sandwich and loved the taste of the meats and veggies. I felt like they used high quality ingredients and I like to come back to try more.

I'm so excited to have a location close to home! We've visited Snarfs once but they were just too far. This location is perfect! They have friendly staff and a great atmosphere. I had the prime sandwich combo with their tomato gouda soup. The ingredients are fresh and flavorful. I can't wait to return!

So while my Elite experience here was great, I do have to amend my actual review after considering the actual service and quality of food! Not terrible, but I think I will wait a bit before returning so that staff can train up and food becomes more consistent. The gentleman taking my order was very kind, but there were a few mistakes/clarifications required during the ordering process. My Mother Clucker ended up missing some condiments, and the meat was lacking in flavor. I did love the open space, and everything was very clean. I will look forward to giving it another try in a month or so and perhaps amending this review!

5/5 for the bread 4/5 or 5/5 for the fillings, depending on which sandwiches you choose I came once last week for the Reuben and I'm back again this week for it. I'm not sure if I got the right sandwich for the farmer because it doesn't look like roast beef, more like pastrami? It's alright, nothing crazy. Overall a good place to grab a sandwich. I'll be back for more.

Not only are the workers extremely nice, but nothing beats a hot fresh sandwich! I got the Mother Clucker from the off menu options and I was so happy with my choice. The bread was toasted without being too hard and crumbly. It had a good combo of being both sweet and savory. And I didn't have to wait too long for my food to come out. I also love just how many different cool sandwich combinations they have. I definitely want to go back and try the French dip sandwich. All that being said, it is on the pricier side. It was definitely more than I expected. But it was still good.

This location just opened and is keeping up with having by the nicest people working here! It is clean nicely spaced tables for a solo or office group of 10 to grab a lunch inside. The tile mosaic on the line is unique to each location and just fun to look at- it sparks a fuzzy feeling while you inhale your meal. Today I had the Red Pepper Gouda Bisque. It is tomato soup's sexy older cousin who traveled a bit before setting down in a college town, smoking cloves and discussing politics and philosophy while tomato soup gazes in awe. It was pepper forward and balanced on the back end with the Gouda. I tasted every ingredient singularly and danced in the music they made together. What was missing? A little crunch. Enter my sandwich! I had the eggplant parm because it's phenomenal. Crispy on the outside, soft creamy on the inside. I broke off some of the crispy bits and used them as croutons in my bisque. So get the app (earn points=earn food), don't be shy and order the Pro (leftovers are just as good), grab a coke (products include Powerade, Barqs, Fanta, DP, lemonade, coke &diet), and enjoy your new fav sandwich shop on the reg. * the pickles are also fab!

I enjoyed my Big Fat Snarf very much! With gluten free bread, corned beef and pastrami, Swiss cheese, and mayo. The gf bread tasted better than the normal bread. Friendly service at the counter. Casual interior for leisure and quick dine in's. We also tried the Mother Clucker (rotisserie chicken, bacon, & provolone) with normal toasted bread, but our consensus is that the Big Fat Snarf was better! Would definitely try other sandwiches next time. Ample parking is a plus.

Lately on a tour of ATX sandwich shops (even though Snarf's originated in Boulder - as a sign on the wall conveniently points out). Behind the beautiful tile mural wall all the staff was busy slanging ham and pastrami and brisket and Swiss and cheddar and the like. As a newcomer I was told about the favorites and the best sellers and the awesome off the menu offerings. I went with the Italian 7". Couldn't finish it. Even though it was toasted, it was exactly what I was looking for. The tea was great too. Cleanest bathrooms. Super spot for the sandwich searching soul.

The food was absolutely outstanding, and the service matched it every step of the way. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. This team goes above and beyond--each of them deserves a raise.

A new sandwich spot is down here, Sochaca. This chain replaced the former hair salon and doggy self-serve shampoo place on the busy corner of William Cannon and Menchaca across from Sprouts. Prefer this location over the other two locations I've tried on campus and in Bouldin Creek because it's much bigger and has more parking, and all the same salad and sandwich options. Service was fast and efficient, which was good because a lot of people were in the queue! Place was very newly renovated and clean with lots of seating options. Plenty of parking if you want to meet friends for lunch. I had the Snarf Salad, which was fresh and delicious and had a boat-load of meat. Will be back to try the sandwiches, which are priced pretty high but worth exploring. They seem to have on-menu and off-menu options. My husband wants to try the hot dogs, there are several options, and my daughter wants to check out the grilled cheese.

This new Snarf's Sandwiches officially opens today (8/29). I was invited to a training day prior to opening through being a part of their loyalty program. I'm excited to have a location further south and the ample parking is a bonus. The place was fully staffed and everyone was exceptionally friendly. They were highlighting their "off the menu" items that day so I tried the Buffalo chicken sandwich. Sandwich was well made and delicious! I'm always a fan of their bread which adds a nice crunch. I think their prices are a bit high but their loyalty program has been kind to me in the past.

More of the Snarf's Sandwiches you know and love, just farther south! It's nice to have another location that's more accessible below the river, with ample parking, too. Whether you're into classic flavors or looking to try something new, they've got you covered. The vibe inside is super chill and welcoming, with friendly staff who make you feel right at home. Plus, the tile mosaic across the front counter is pretty darned stunning, which adds a nice touch to the whole experience. Dining in or taking out, it's a solid choice.

I've only ordered for delivery from here, but the sandwiches are always delicious. Their Italian sandwich is probably the best I've had. The bread is fresh and crusty which goes well with all the toppings that go on it. No complaints whatsoever !

Got the prime rib sandwich today, phenomenal phenomenal phenomenal. Can't say enough good things about the sandwiches here. This place just blows all other sandwich shops out of the water. It's just So Good. The bread takes the delish fillings to a whole new level, best bread by far and best sandwiches. I've tried three so far, the Italian- all the way, the eggplant Parmesan and the prime rib- all the toppings. All So SO Good. Can't wait to try the others. Snarf's really knows what they're doing. We ordered our food online, picked it up and brought it home, so I'm basing my review on that. It was quick and easy and the food was delicious. We ordered from the house and when we got to the restaurant our food was already waiting on the side counter.I got the regular club sandwich and my daughter got the honey rotisserie chicken sandwich. This restaurant is fairly new to the area and we were both surprised how good the sandwiches were. We actually only ate half of our sandwich because we were getting ready to go to the UT football game and when we got home that night we immediately got out our other half and ate that! Just as good the second time. I have eaten at the snarfs that was down by the stadium several times but somehow this food just tasted better. I would definitely recommend this place.

It's such a cute and cool spot in Austin! You guys have to go plus the bread is delicious!

I'm from the East coast. These are the best sandwiches I've had in Austin. 10/10 will eat again. Please never close this location.

The sandwiches at Snarf's are AMAZING!!! So many options and I am going to try all of them, as well as their salads. The staff at the 13450 Research Blvd. are extremely friendly and look like they enjoy making the food. Hands down the most delicious sandwiches in Austin, TX. The ordering is so easy and precise. The restaurant is nice and clean.

Redeemed the free birthday sandwich (7 inch size max) thru the app. Ordered the tuna with cheese on wheat bread. It was fantastic & exactly as I wanted it with extra toppings (free). Thanks, Snarf's Sandwiches!

slow service and staff doesn't care About getting your order correct. Do not recommend.

Snarf's was recommended to me by a coworker, and in all honesty his recommendations have been hit or miss. But this time it was legit 10/10. Snarf's is my favorite sandwich shop in Austin!

So wanted to love this sandwich shop. A professional, corporate chain, one would expect their desire would be positive reviews. Unfortunately, seemingly unhappy employees. Ordered $50 of sandwiches, $6 tip. No smile or thank you. Person behind me was thanked. Au jus was wrapped in plastic, but stored on its side in the bag. Bag was soaked by the time I got to the car. Claim was packed upright, Id rather support an operation in touch with the most important business strategy: employees are your best asset.

Grabbed sandwich's from here for a meeting and week back the next week when I was near. That bread yo!!! Delicious! Their salads and soups are really tasty too.

I enjoy their sandwiches immensely. But the service and attention to detail is not great. I have placed pick up orders that are supposed to be ready at a specific time and for the second time they haven't even started the sandwich when I get there to pick it up. Staff seems like they are enjoying their time working, maybe a little too much.

We entered the restaurant and were immediately greeted at the counter. The atmosphere was relaxed with one light music playing. Our order was taken really fast. Associate was very helpful. We didn't wait very long and our 6 sandwiches and salad came out for us to devour. Bread is soft and order was correct. When in Austin you just try Snarf's. It was fantastic.

Great customer service. I accidentally placed my online order for a further location and they were kind enough to call the other location let them know and made me my sandwich's no issue ! On top of the great service the sandwich was top tier !! Thank you snarfs !

Doesn't live up to their word. They put raw onions on my daughter's sub. Which she reacts to in a way that she didn't want to while she was at work she took one bite said she couldn't eat it so I took it back but bought her thundercloud so she had something to eat with her 30 minute lunch break. Person that was there at the time said they would keep track of it and there would be a credit. Just went to get the sub for my daughter again with that credit and instead of being this $17 sub that I bought the first time it's us half that.

Happy there is a Snarfs in this hood. I've been twice, both times hit the spot. There's been other diners but they crew has kept things moving and my sandwiches have come out quick and tasty. Will be coming back soon. Plenty of room in this new spot, including a few tables outside.

The bread is the best part hands down. It is a little pricey for a sandwhich but I really appreciate the vibes. Would be a cool afternoon to have lunch there and go to the LBJ library. Also they do tow out of the parking lot.

sad excuse for a sandwich. there was 1 person in front of us, 4 people behind us and they all got their food before us. so i waited for about 25 minutes for them to give me this Rueben with 2 pieces of meat on it. absolutely ridiculous. will NOT be back.

I was driving by and just saw the sign so I walked on in. The service was great. The ambience was great. I loved the playlist and then my sandwich was delivered to me outside. They made me feel so special. Sandwich was delicious. I'll be back and recommend.
