Sneaky's Sports Bar & Grill

Nice lively bar with a good atmosphere and a wide range of items on the menu. I usually visit on Wednesday because they have $1 bottled beer. You can't beat that. As far as food, one of their notable menu items is the pizza. While it was a little burnt the one time I tried it, it didn't taste too bad. They have many other food options to choose from and they all seem reasonably priced. The place is very spacious as well. There is a room to shoot pool and play other games, there is seating near the bar, and there is a dancing space for weekends and prime nights. There is even space in the back for parties and events. The service is very friendly too. Every time I've visited, the waitresses have been friendly and prompt. Overall, this place is worth the visit. There are a lot of things to keep the patrons of this place entertained besides food and drinks, even though I go for the $1 beer nights on Wednesdays.

I had a great experience here. Ordered chicken tenders. Tenders were home made with a great batter. Atmosphere was great. People at other tables interacting with me as if we were all family. Loved it! Wednesday I think it's $1.50 beer day.

A large group of us stopped here on a Saturday afternoon and were promptly seated. If we had been any later it would have been full. Portions are large, prices very reasonable, and service was very efficient. We enjoyed our dinner with friends.

Michigan, Michigan State and tigers on....3 tables for the whole night. My 2 kids got told by a blonde that they need to sit down because they were obnoxious....3 tables who don't complain? Are you kidding me?!?! I am a paying regular customer and my kids are here all of the time. Beyond pissed and annoyed. Won't be back for a Michigan game for a while. Especially since kids aren't welcome.

Love my long islands! Love coming for music bingo. The food is great too! Always a lot of fun.

I love "sneaking" over to Sneaky's Sports Bar & Grill for my lunch hour during work hours. They have great food and I can play Club Keno to have a little fun while I'm there. The staff is very nice and they all work together as a team. Thank you all for making my mini-retreats so enjoyable! If you own a touch tunes machine, and people pay their hard earned money to hear their songs over the radio, you have no right to skip their songs. I don’t care if your bartender doesn’t like them. As a business owner having that machine in your shop, you shouldn’t allow your staff to skip music. One star until this is remedied.

Fun place to meet friends on a Friday to play music bingo. The food is good especially the quesadillas! Slightly under staffed for the large crowds.

I ordered their Cajun steak bites, that I was told was so delicious, I ordered them medium, they came out so well done they were chewy. I couldn't even eat them!!! my buddy ordered a Italian wrap, they got the order all messed up and it came out with a Italian wrap with a hamburger inside it!! he sent it back. They came out with another sandwich that still wasn't right, but my buddy ate half of it anyways and had to throw the other half out.!! the day we came in ,the bar was dead maybe a few people in there eating, we were told that our server would be in soon, she was obviously late. We had to sit there for about a half hour before they took our order, absolutely horrible business I would never come here again to eat.

Julianna was amazing at Sneaky's Bar and Grill. She was super friendly, on top of everything without being overbearing, gave us great food and drink recommendations, and just made the whole vibe feel relaxed and fun. You can tell she genuinely cares about her guests, which is rare these days. We'll definitely be back and hope we get to sit in her section again! They didn't rush us out at the end of the night and the owner was super chill about us being here late on a week night.

First time there. First impression.. CHAOS! Staff not identifiable as they wear whatever they want. Place is busy, great for owner, but nobody leaves to open tables, and did observe those that just lingered around taking up table space had been done for a while. Food was ok. Overly salty, and overly battered/ greasy. However the pretzel bites were great.

We were invited out for some drinks, so we came. It's your average bar with your average downriver crowd. Not the fanciest looking place, nor the most polished either. Service was ok,,, the server kept forgetting my fizzy water. The beer was cold, the food was lackluster. This place is alright,, I don't really know, but it seems to aspire as a sports bar, but falls short of that aspect. Prices are cheap,, I mean if there is anything going for it. It would be that my dollar will go a very long way here. This joint wouldn't be the first place in my mind if I was going to choose to go out for a drink. if you have not tried the cheese bread you need to! It is amazing And it was dollar beers on the day we went! We will be coming back for this.

So we were at Meijer's because we were gonna go to Maverick's, which is a favorite of mine, and lately I've started to get the 'change of scenery' itch so I said wanna try Sneaky's across the street and my girlfriend said sure. So we went. I won't say there's anything spectacular about the interior, it's nice, it's clean, it's airy and light too even with the windows covered...I'm not a fan of dark and dingy so I agreed with the atmosphere. It feels like a 'local's place' and probably is, it was not crowded. We sat at the bar and first star award: They have Jai Alai on tap. It wasn't the coldest but it was cold enough and such a good IPA. So already I'm a fan. We get the menu and it kind of reminds of a few place, not tons of things but a variety and the usual kinds of things. My girlfriend had the coney dog special and I got chicken strips. We both had fries. So the fries we had aren't memorable - sorry, just not a fan of steak fries unless there's something unusual and these weren't. These were Red Robbins...okay with mayonnaise but next time I'd try something else. The chicken strips? So on point, maybe among the best I've had...crunchy, crispy, juicy chicken, Cajun flavoring just coming through. So good. My girlfriend really liked her coney dogs, i tried a bit of the chili, pretty good. Our bartender made my a perfectly serviceable Kentucky Mule to finish, and it all was really modestly priced. I liked the place and we'll go again.

I was traveling through Woodhaven and in the mood for bar grub. Walked in to Sneaky's and what appeared to be a mixed crowd of local regulars were congregated at the bar with most of the tables remaining empty. We were greeted with friendly hellos and told to sit anywhere we like. We opted for one of the high top tables scattered about the restaurant's center. There were big screen TVs suspended in the air behind the bar with the current game playing and a modern day jukebox cranking out a mix of tunes. Our waitress was pleasant and friendly and gave good service throughout the entire meal. The menu had the typical bar food selections. My hubby went for the fish and chips while I choose the Philly Cheesesteak on a ciabatta roll and fries. The food was tasty, beyond what I expected. The portions were hefty, so much so that I had to ask for a container to take some home. The wine I ordered was good too, not the usual cheap stuff. If you're in the downriver area and want some better than average, yummy bar food, try them out.

Went here with a group on a Thursday to have dinner, then stayed to play trivia. The food was excellent. The burgers were awesome, and the chili was flavorful, and not overly spicy. It was just a nice hearty chili. The waffle fries, fried pickles, and onion rings as sides were fabulous and plenty enough for us to share. The Bloody Mary I had was a "meal in a glass" and delicious! We will definitely return to have a meal and play trivia again.

No more karaoke, mediocre it's okay, just don't go if it's busy cause it's inattentive and congested

Went on a Saturday night and the place was absolutely dead. For some reason they felt the need to place our all adult group right next to a young family. This made both groups uncomfortable and was pointless. The specialty drinks sounded better than they were. The food was horrible! There was just no saving the unseasoned, room temperature, soggy mess on a plate. Service was ok but rushed for no reason. The server was very kind but clearly just bored with all of it. The bill was placed on the table before we even finished eating so no need for a second drink I guess. Super cheap night out so I don't feel bad about it but wouldn't go back on purpose.

This used to be my spot!! It was always such a fun bar to hit up on the weekends. Haven't been here in a long time, and when we were out for a friend's birthday, I suggested coming here...wish I didn't lol. The crowd was like 55+ and there were maybe 25 people there. There was 1 bartender and 1 waitress, so ordering drinks was a joke. Every time we ordered something, it took at least 10 mins to get. Our waitress told us she was newer and to please be patient. We were super patient...but getting bored lol. Splitting the tab...yeah...I did that. She was so flustered that I told her to just give me her pen and paper and I would split it up, since we had 5 couples paying separately. I wrote it down, word for word, and super neat, and one of our friends was still charged incorrectly. I don't blame the bartender, nor the waitress...I blame the owner/management 100%. No matter how slow you are, or anticipate being, why in the hell would you have 2 people working on a Saturday night??? You never know how big of a crowd might decide to show up. DJ is the bomb though :)

Bar atmosphere but not bar food. The Chicken Picata rivaled any. Large portion great taste. Black bean burger and steak fries are tasty. Fried shrimp dinner and French onion soup were 2 thumbs up!

Decent service. I ordered a draft beer. Good. I ordered the three mini burgers. They were good. The server asked if I wanted onion, tomato, lettuce and/or pickles. I suspected that I might be charged extra for these but thought "no" they wouldn't do that. But the bill came... 75 cents for lettuce, 75 for onion, 75 for tomato and a deal on the pickles 25 cents! Seriously? I won't go back.

Soooo Ashley can't seem to deliver correct drinks to the correct person... let's see how she can improve... come to find out it's the bartender that messed up.. so her service was stellar... and the drinks even though we're backwards.. we're delicious..

Very disappointed in this place. My family and I went there today for their Lenten fish only to be sat at a table and ignored for 25 minutes. Then we asked the hostess who took our order and brought us drinks. Then we waited for another 25 minutes while three tables that were sat after us were served drinks and meals. That was it we left. I have worked in restaurant service as well as bar service and to ignore an entire table for that amount of time is unacceptable. We will not recommend nor be back.

Food was good . I had the club burger it had ham, bacon, & couple cheeses on "texas toast" . Our friends both had chicken casadillas they say they are the best downriver. The problem Was they cranked the music up so loud at about ten o'clock that we couldn't hear each other talking. The title says "sports bar" they are trying to make it a dance bar yet hockey games and college football and even the baseball playoffs were still on the many televisions. NOT COOL!!!! Probably won't go back!!

Too many people come here for Name That Tune! When we went, it was so crowded we literally got the last table- the people that came in after us had to sit in a corner in the room that was being used for a birthday party. The menu is your standard bar fare. The one thing I can appreciate though, is that the first time we went we tried ordering chips and cheese and were told they didn't have liquid cheese, which was a bummer, but when we went back we saw that they added it to the menu! So they definitely listen to their customers, which is awesome. All in all, just an average place. I'd rather go somewhere less crowded to play, that's all.

The food here is okay, but honestly the service is beyond terrible. I come here time and time again because I have friends who live close and every time I'm disappointed. Don't worry about getting too drunk..the waitresses will forget you've ever ordered a drink. You will end up getting so annoyed to just leave. It's not like they're super busy that it just can't be handled, the waitresses are just terrible. Sorry, not sorry.

We went in only for drinks, thankfully. I had a 7 dollar 22 oz Cherry Wheat (Sam Adams). My friend had a house margarita which she said was made very well. However, I wouldn't trust the food. If they can't figure out that the silverware is dirty, what else can't they figure out? The servers visit seldomly. Prices are better elsewhere.

Urgh. Nothing too exciting, nothing too horrible. I like the outside, except the chairs at the high tops blow balls. They are not fitting for children,let alone adults. The weird hallway with the pool table, is just that...weird. A lot of loud, douchey music... plastic cups for drinks (ON A WEEK NIGHT)..... yeah, I think at 33 I'm entirely too old for this place. Also, the meat head checking id's at the door with the gallon jug of water, and HUGE bag of McDonalds... cmon now......

Good food and service at a reasonable price. Been here a couple of times at lunch and always in and out quickly.

This bar has excellent service, food, djs, trivia, live entertainment and ofcourse drinks! Very friendly owners always making rounds to insure your food drinks and service is up to their standards. I can't say enough about the establishment always clean, inviting and everything you want going into grab some grub or a beverage. Pure quality Check them out!

We stopped here on our way to a wedding and experienced the worst food ever. The Nachos for 8.99 are a joke fake cheese two strips of chicken and hardly any lettuce. We ordered steak bites medium and they came rare sent them back and now there tough. My drink is flat and service sucks. I would not recommend this place!

Came in at a relatively slow time. We waited at the bar for 10 minutes while staff ignored us and made calls on their cell phones. Food was okay, nothing special, but a waitress brought out our meal before our appetizer. Our waitress stopped the other one, took our food back into the kitchen to sit under hot lamps, and then brought out our app. When we were finished, we waited ten minutes for a bill, which we had to ask another server for. Noone asked if we wanted any drinks or anything else. After we paid the bill, our waitress immediately returned and grabbed the credit card slip to look at her tip without acknowleding us at all. Even with lousy service, we left a standard tip and was not even thanked. We will not be going back. Ever.

Before 10, a mix of downriver types of all ages. Cheap drinks. After 10, its like the old Gleason's. Very very 20 something Brotastic. No wonder they have a haystack of a security man working the door.

If you're looking for a fun night out downriver go somewhere else - this bar is pretty lame. Friday nights are pretty dead which usually results in one large group of middle-aged people controlling the place. From what I've experienced Saturday's aren't much better. The food is fine, the drink specials are fine, but the waitresses aren't always very attentive. Also they recently got busted for selling to minors - not exactly my type of establishment. After turning 21 I wanted to hit the bars to AVOID children drinking illegally. There are quite a few other local bars that are way more fun if that's what you're looking for.

Awesome place to hang out on the afternoons. Great service and food. Especially Fridays all you can eat cod is amazing. The drinks are always cold and they have mini golf! Really a good clean place for a get together. I would recommend it to anyone

Fantastic appetizer specials, and drink specials too. When is the last time you had a $1 bottle of beer. I have been there a bunch and had great service. Friendly staff and great owner.

One of the better bloody Mary's around town! Highly recommend their burgers as well. Definitely worth a stop. Great service too. Can get in and out for lunch.

We went there last night for the first time for a extended team hockey party without notice. The staff really went out of there way to accommodate us and waitress was great. The place is really clean and had alot of stuff for the kids to do as well. By far the best chicken fingers I have had. Thanks

The owners acquired a restaurant that was already there. They remolded the inside. There is relatively no seating and the food is just alright. They did add a dance floor and a 10 foot projection screen. I was there for dinner but I'm assuming that it is much better at night as a bar and less as a restaurant.

This is my second time at this bar, first time to eat. I was really disappointed. Both my friend and I ordered salads after seeing someone else order one on our first visit. They looked really good and were huge. The waitress brought our dressings first, on the side (as requested) and they were large cups of dressing so I was excited to dive into a huge salad. My stomach was growling! When the waitress brought our salads I was so disappointed. They were HUGE bowls but weren't even filled halfway. I got the grilled chicken salad and the chicken was chopped into such tiny bits I couldn't even tell it was chicken and there wasn't much. It may have even had some breading on it but I couldn't tell. The pluses? The dressing was delicious (raspberry vinaigrette) and the lettuce was very fresh. My friend ordered the taco salad with chicken and had the same chicken problem. Overall she said the flavor was good and wished there was more. We both left the restaurant hungry and at $8-Something a salad they should have been a little bigger. The waitress was very attentive and did get our orders right the first time (I subtracted a few toppings from my salad). The bar was clean and there were a lot of tv's playing the World Cup.

My husband and I went here last week for dinner. It is very near our house, so we were interested to see how the place had changed. We had been to this place as ground round (not impressed) and as the 2 previous places (also not that great). As Sneaky's, the inside was re-modeled and clean, which is a must for me. The tables were mostly hi-tops, but not totally crammed together like at some places. You didn't feel like you were sitting on top of the people next to you. Our waitress was pleasant and efficient. Nothing amazing, but not bad at all. We both ordered a bud light which was on special, and it was nice and cold. Nothing special, as it is just a bud light. We ordered a buffalo wing appetizer which was amazing. Hot (temperature) and coated just right. Not too sloppy like some of the chain places. Unfortunately it didn't come with celery or carrots. We will definitaly go back for the wings. Each got a burger and waffle fries. Nothing amazing. Was expecting a had made patty, but think it was pre-made frozen one. Fries were yummy, reminded me of college. I did get the impression it would be filled with a younger crowd on the weekends at night, so we wouldn't go then, but overall we enjoyed the atmosphere and food and will go back. Hope this place lasts longer the other ones.

This place has great food and a nice open and clean feel to it. The lunch specials are a great value! They get a lot of dance crowd on the weekends at night to hang out with too! It's an awesome dinner spot for simple family fare at decent prices.

For a weekend party lunch or dinner it's a decent place to hang. I had chicken tenders and fries. So I can't really review the food lol but it was good. Prices were a tad expensive. My drink was strong but not to strong. Service was steady not super fast but not slow. Staff seemed happy and the place was clean. I would go again.

Place was empty but food was great. Big burgers with awesome fresh buns. Half price appetizers at happy hour. Great domestic beer bucket, 6 bottles for $10. Nice friendly barmaid, plus she was cute too.

This has become our regular Friday night get together spot. The food (Sneaky wings, fish, cheese bread) is pretty darn good! The wait staff are pleasant and help to make it a great place to relax. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed and won't break the bank.

I always have a good time at Sneakys during Thursday night trivia!!! The wait staff are all very friendly and we like joking around with the owners. Now if only they had a popcorn machine

We tried this place Friday night for the all-you can eat fish n chips, were pleasantly surprised! The fish was excellent, coleslaw was excellent, and we could not eat any more than the three generous pieces we had! Waitress was attentive and very nice, we will be going back for more!

There are few establishments in Woodhaven that cater to the "hangout with your friends and drink crowd". Most are of the BWW's and Applebees sort. Sneaky's is the perfect local place to grab a beer, watch a game and have some good bar food. The place is always clean, the crowds are welcoming, and the service is prompt. The place gets lively on the weekends. It's a fun place.

I went to the bar on a Saturday night and it was jumpin! I had no issues getting my drinks or my food. and yes it did get a little packed after 10pm but that's good. They mostly play club music some rap that I can only handle for a short time at the bar.

Wow what an upgrade from what it used to be! We have been to Sneakys a few times now since it remodeled and what a difference! First time we went for lunch to try a new place and it was great. The food was excellent. The service was really good also. Very attentive to our needs. Great atmosphere and so nice that the second time we went we brought our kids for lunch. They (13 and 10) loved the food and the games they had. Now the night time is a different story. We have been there on both a Friday and a Saturday night and all I can say is wow. We had an excellent dinner with a few friends and each time it was great. Around 9 pm the DJ started and it was a really good mix of new and older dance music. The dance floor was always busy! Really had a good time. Really cool lighting and sound. Even though the place was really busy on a Saturday night, it was really no problem getting a drink whenever we needed. Ya know how sometimes it takes all night to get someone over to the table cuz they are busy or even just not paying attention? Not here. Service was really good! So to round it up... Good food, good drinks and prices, and good service = good times!
