Went on a hike with the family and my husband picked this place for a cool down treat after the hike. The customer service from the second we walked in the door was top notch. I tried to order a waffle and sadly they didn’t have any batter to make one since they were out of milk. Everyone who ordered their shaved ice cream loved the selections they picked. 10/10 would come here again just hope i get to try a waffle next time.

Very great ice cream spot. The owner is a super nice person and gave my fiancé and I great service. Highly recommend. Such a cute vibe in there. The ice cream is really good, the fruit in it was also fresh and the boba tea was BOMB.

Stopped by 'Sno Mo' after picking up my daughter from her first day of school and it turned out to be an excellent choice! Not only did they have a delightful selection of ice creams and snow cones, but they also offered an array of toppings like sprinkles, gummy bears, marshmallows, and nerds. My children absolutely loved the mint chocolate chip and vanilla ice cream combination. What stood out the most was the service. The man behind the counter, who I suspect might be the owner, was incredibly attentive and quick with our order. The cleanliness of the store was evident, and its convenient location just off the highway near my daughter's school is a big plus. I'm genuinely thankful and grateful for our experience at 'Sno Mo'. I sincerely hope they remain open throughout the winter months!

Amazing Mangonada with real mango! So refreshing and authentic. Just a good, healthy, fruit-forward drink or dessert. The waffles are homemade and fresh- crispy outside with a soft delicious inside. I did vanilla ice cream on top of an Oreo waffle. And my hubby got a Việt iced coffee with boba. Freaking delicious with yummy, creamy condensed milk

This is the best boba milk tea you could get, it tasted exactly as the traditional one you get in Taiwan .. highly recommended!! Great atmosphere and nice service.

We had one Rainbow Pure Ice 🌈 and one Thai Tea Sno Ice. The Sno Ice has creamy shaved ice! It’s absolutely delicious on a hot summer day. My daughter loved the Pure Ice. The staff were very accommodating to our order. I will definitely be coming back!!

We have been loving SnoMo since it was on Lamar years ago. The hours are extremely limited but don't let that stop you from visiting! Their ice cream is different than your traditional ice cream shop and they offer tea as well. My kids and I love getting the large mango ice and splitting it because the portions are pretty big. We add fresh fruit and whatever sounds good at the time. We have yet to get anything we dislike. So yummy!

We come here about once a month as a family, and it's a rare spot that everyone is happy. I get to steer the kids away from the super sweet, dye filled desserts. The kids have choices and sweets. My husband likes iced coffee... and if it is close to meal time we can throw in a waffle and call it a meal. The owners are super nice and the shop is clean with a great area out back to sit and eat.

traveling from out of town and stumbled upon this local shaved ice/bingsu shop! mango sno ice was absolutely delicious! hubby got watermelon pure ice and found it refreshing. service was fast and despite one lady running the shop, she was doing so kind and efficient! would definitely come back to try other flavors and their boba!

I love this place. They are just far enough from home that I don't get this way very often. Nothing special about the atmosphere or service. But I always order the the Almond Sno Ice.They have a big gallon can sized ice block made of Almond milk (or Almond something) that they shave in very thin layers. Then they top it with fresh fruits (I get fresh bananas and strawberries), then they drizzle on sweetened condensed milk. There isn't any other frozen ice type treat that compares. I just love the flavor and texture. It is quite different from normal shaved ice.

Not a snow cone. Not frozen yogurt. For those looking for a taste profile- think between ice cream and ice that dissolves in your mouth. Much lighter and easier on tummy's for those that struggle with dairy. Horchata with condensed milk and cinnamon is a favorite. Boba flavors like mango and strawberry are a great addition. Also a big fan of the Thai Thea shaved ice and Thai tea drinks.

I'm currently in Austin, Texas visiting my sister and she's been raving about SnoMo for a while now so we went to try it out today. She's hyped it up so much that I was scared it wouldn't be as great as she made it seem. However, we walked in and the ambiance was great. It was clean and inviting. There was no line but we were there in the evening so it could be that it is busier in the afternoon. We ordered the chocolate sno with strawberry, mango and mochi. We also got the crazy tea. At first bite I was in heaven. It reminded me of something I have had before and it was absolutely delicious. The chocolate sno was light and fluffy, together with the fruits and mochi gave it incredible texture. The tea was great too! Lots of flavor. This spot is a definite place to bring any visitors looking for a new type of dessert to try. I'm going back to this spot before I go back home to Arizona!

SnoMo is awesome! We visited from out of town, and spent about 5 days in the Austin area. This place was hands-down my favorite place for food (including BBQ, can you believe?). First off, the service was incredibly friendly. Our group had a bunch of questions about the menu the first time we went, and everything was explained patiently to us (by who I believe was the owner, or at least seemed to run the place). Unfortunately the first day, they were out of taro chunks, and I really wanted some. I settled for a mango shave ice with condensed milk, mochi, and red beans. The red beans were a bit too hard, or undercooked, for my liking, but the rest of it was DELICIOUS. I generally like my red bean softer, but I know they make most of their toppings in-house, and red bean can be tricky to please everyone with, since different people have different preferences. Thankfully, the owner / manager told us that she would make taro chunks the next day, so we returned and I got to try the taro chunks. Best decision of the trip - they were AWESOME. My ideal combination (after trying a few other friends' ices and toppings) was: mango shave ice with condensed milk, mochi, taro chunks, and almond jelly. The mango shave ice comes with a mango puree that isn't too sweet, and is perfectly complemented by the condensed milk. The mochi has just the right consistency of chewiness. The taro chunks are tender but firm, and still have a pleasantly distinct taro flavor to it, while not being too sweet. And the almond jelly simply tastes good - silky smooth and spot-on almond flavor. Honorable mention to the grass jelly, which is also made in-house, and has a soft consistency that I haven't really experienced elsewhere. It's a good setting for small or larger groups, and there's even an area in the back with couches to lounge in. The space is very clean, and the prices are reasonable (although some of the fruit toppings are pricier, understandably so). The owner / manager was very pleasant to talk to, and after she found out we were visiting from out of town, she gave us some recommendations for places to see and eat. If I lived in Austin, I would frequent this place... frequently. It's just great.

OMGosh! OMGosh! OMGosh! Oh no! Oh no! Oh no! Lol! When I read in my community paper that Sno Mo (franchise of Snow Monster - Lamar) was opening so close to my home it was almost as good as winning the lottery (well...you know). I can't believe it took me an entire week of them opening their doors to make my first visit. I love boba tea and smoothies, but the legit IT here is the "Snow Ice!" So, some of you might be scratching your head wondering "what the heck is snow ice?" Well, it is not ice cream - although it is milk based (I think SM offers a soy version, but meh) and super creamy. It is definitely not a simple snow cone or Italian shaved ice. This special treat is traditionally a Taiwanese cold dessert (albeit varieties can be found in the Philippines, Singapore, and even Hawaii). If you've never had the pleasure of indulging in snow ice (or even if you have), it has a very unique texture and really pretty look. Maybe think super thin sliced layers of fluffy frozen cotton candy...only not as sweet and with several more flavors to choose from. Pick your base flavor (e.g., chocolate, thai tea, mango, etc.) and eat as is or choose from a plethora of toppings (e.g., fresh fruit, puddings, jellies, nuts, etc.). My personal favorite (go ahead, call it a staple) is Taro with Tapioca Boba. Part of the fun is creating "your" perfect bowl. Come on, be adventurous! Congrats to Lulu and Long in their already obvious success. Tips: *Don't forget to have them stamp your frequent flyer card for a free goodie. **Snow Ice doesn't refreeze well, so eat right away...or if you live close enough to get home before it starts melting it's A-OK...I'm REALLY in trouble right? Haha! Lbs! ***It appears peek hours are right when school lets up. I personally avoid the craziness, but that's just me. ****Enjoy! I really hope you do. :D

mango snow ice slayed on a hot humid day. the boba was cooked nicely but didn't have much flavor. came out rly fast and we loved looking at their pet fish in the store! the mango snow ice kinda tasted like the mango pudding you get at dim sum (so good). highly recommmend!

I'd been meaning to try this place for awhile, and I'm glad that I finally did! The interior is cute and simple, and they have giant menu displays. All the flavors looked terrific, but I ended up ordering the honeydew snow ice. I had the tiny size; it was super affordable and not even that small! The fluffy texture was melt-in-your-mouth perfection. I loved the honeydew flavor, but I wish I had gotten some toppings (like red bean!). They have an endless selection, and they are very cheap to add. SnoMo also has very tasty-looking waffles. If I lived closer, this would be my go-to spot for a sweet treat!

My family and I are addicted to this place! We have tried nearly all the flavors by now and you can't go wrong with any of them. Our favorites are mango and horchata milk shaved ices. The owners are the best and love interacting with their customers. Definitely a place you have to try.

We have our own snow monster, and it's better than the one on Lamar! I'm gonna be so fat by the end of Summer. This location offers three bases: Snow ice uses a milk base, shaved ice uses water (just like a snow cone), the hippies and other undesirables can opt for the soy base. Then you pick your flavor, size, and toppings. My personal favorite: Taro with condensed milk, maybe some crunchy topping. Though it's a Taiwanese staple, this is the only place that I've ever had snow ice, and it's freaking amazing. It comes out in shaved ribbons, and despite looking dense, it's actually incredibly light and delicate. As an added bonus, there's a large, shaded, communal deck that overlooks part of the Lakeway golf course in the back of snow monster, making it an amazing place to cool down! Protip: The "small" size feeds two easily. Stick with the small, avoid the toppings, and you can get out of here for $4-$5.

Wow. Was such a great experience. The place is family owned and operated. All of them were so happy and helpful when I was unsure for what to get. The large was a great serving for two people. Super friendly, the largest is crazy big easy enough for 2 people probably 3. The mango snow ice with condensed milk, tapioca and mochi was spot on. We are staying in the are for a month and I plan to visit often.

Came here about 15-20 minutes before they closed one Friday night and got two tinies in one bowl to go. There wasn't really anyone there so our order was done really fast. There were so many choices here that I honestly had a hard time trying to decide what to get. We ended up going with mango and thai tea snow ice and rainbow mochi as the topping. We were surprised by how big the portion was! It was super yummy and totally satisfied my sweet tooth.

If it was possible to give zero stars I would. After checking hours online and verifying hours on sign in business window the door was locked 30 minutes before closing time with employees still inside. There was no sign on door saying there was an emergency or a reason for closing early. I would have understood that as things happen. As I was standing next to my car the employees exited and very obviously refused to make eye contact and hurriedly got in their car. Super disappointed as we drove 30 minutes after my husband talked about this place. After what happened I will not be returning.

Expensive but excellent product. Wife and I got a Strawberry and a Chocolate/Banana Bubble Tea (smoothie with the tapioca pearls or bubbles). There isna huge variety on the menu andbwhile the drinks were top notch I bought one at an Asian deli in Shreveport for half the cost of these PLUS they used homemade strawberry flavoring from there as opposed to the mix at SnoMo. However, I still give them the five stars since they have such a huge variety, most people in Lakeway wouldn't think it was too expensive, and it tasted great.

First time customer. Very unique place. Kinda like a shaved ice / ice cream treat with much less sugar. Wife and I took our 3y/o son and we can't say enough good things about this place. Super friendly owners, very informative, 5-Star business all the way. Great inexpensive treat for family night!

Service was great. We got the regular snow ice, the Taro w/Mochi topping and Matcha Green Tea w/Almond topping. Taro - the first few bites had the hint of taro but afterwards it was watery. Thought it was made from real taro since they had taro chunks as their topping but it tasted like powder taro. Matcha Green Tea - quite bland and watery. Wouldn't recommend this if you're a Matcha fan. The almonds that we got were a bit stale as well. Overall it's good but wish the flavors were a bit stronger.

I have just been trying out new upcoming places all over Austin & lakeway. I really like how clean the bathroom is and the customer service was great. The dessert came out faster than I thought . The price wise is good not too expensive.

I wish I could give it 10 stars!!!! I had the coconut snow with fresh strawberry and mango and a drizzle of sweetened condensed milk. My son had the grape snow and we both were in heaven! Honestly this place is a must stop!!!!

Family-owned and operated, the staff is friendly and professional. SnoMo menu offers a tasty array of refreshing spin on dessert beverages treats.

People told me their drinks and ice are good. So I went there a couple of times. Their shaved ice was OK. Their bubble tea is not impressive at all. Won't go there again.

Yaaaay!! We love love love this place. The boba is so soft and chewy and we have been ordering it to be delivered all summer. Always a refreshing treat while we hang out in the yard with the kids. When we eat there, their chocolate chip waffle with ice cream and toppings is a hit with the kids. Their Thai tea is really great and their Vietnamese coffee is awesome too.. the only thing I wish they had was some out of the ordinary fruity options for drinks like guava or pomegranate etc.

I grew up with shaved ice, snow shaved ice in Taiwan. Finally, there is a snow shaved ice in Lakeway! I do not have to drive so far to eat! Dark brown syrup is very authentic, love it!

Their smoothies are really good but their tea was a bit watery and bland. Their boba was pretty good and the workers were really nice. Wouldn't go again tho.

The Honeydew is DELICIOUS!! I'm so excited to try more flavors here. The look of the place is little outdated and could be designed better. But the what they serve is outstanding!
