Our family had a wedding at Snooper's Rock at sunrise to find amazing views for excellent photos for the time of celebration. We did not get to hike much but there are plenty of trails to be enjoyed. Most certainly worth the effort to get to the location.

A beautiful place to watch the sun come up. The clouds above the river were breathtaking. I did happen to witness a small wedding while I was there. Not too bad of a trip with my Dodge challenger. But I did need to wash it after I left. Dusty! But well worth the trip.

Follow the road right up to the rock, most vehicles will make it down the road. Just take it easy on your tires!! Absolutely breathtaking sunrise!! Bring coffee and breath away your stress!!

Perfect weather (high of 60), beautiful blue sky. Well marked trail but followed All Trails. Witnessed a wedding at snoopers rock!!

Beautiful experience, exactly as pictured with a short walk. I would recommend a vehicle that can handle mountainous terrain and sharp steep turns, though.

Hike was mostly through the wood, not much to see until snoopers rock, which is worth the hike all on its own. Trail well maintained and clean. Plenty of parking. The bathroom is not in any shape to use. That's the only downside the views make it worth it. It's absolutely breathtaking.

Sunrise on a Monday morning was THE BEST! There was a cloud inversion and we married 06-09-25

Snooper’s Rock in spring is stunning.
The trail is short and easy, and the view at the top is absolutely worth it — a wide, sweeping bend of the river surrounded by deep green hills. It’s a great spot for sunrise, photos, or just taking a quiet break above the trees.
If you’re in the Chattanooga area, this one’s a must.

Snooper's Rock is one of my favorite places to being my friends when they visit Chattanooga. It gives some mild off roading, a pretty easy hike to one of the best lookouts in the area.
No matter what season you go, it's a breath taking look over the Tennessee River.
Snooper's Rock got its name back when moonshiners used it as a look out.
This spot is a must see.
