First time visiting a Snooze location. My parents rave about them while they vacation in AZ during the cold Iowa months. Our server, Ashley was amazing! She had the most upbeat attitude and was full of smiles and personality. She greeted us by asking us what we were in town for. We answered, letting her know that we were in town from Iowa for a quick little get a way to celebrate our 16th wedding anniversary. She kindly said, we’d like to help you celebrate by offering you a pancake of your choice. She recommended the Boulder favorite “pineapple upside down.” And…WOW! It was delicious. Her generosity and attention to detail made our visit memorable. We hope she gets the recognition she deserves. Thanks again for a wonderful experience.

Google
Delicious way to start the day! Excellent food that i only wish i could get back in oklahoma. Fresh ingredients and the food looked and tasted amazing!! For you travelers passing through stop here to get fuel for the day!.

We came here for a birthday breakfast due to the hostess saying there were many vegan options. However, the “plant power” section is exclusively vegetarian, not vegan. Luckily, our server Nicole was phenomenal and had personal knowledge for what could be made vegan. We had a tofu scramble with avocado, mushrooms, and peppers. We also had the tacos with a lot removed and avocado and soyrizo added. Finally, we had the vegan pancakes (already vegan on the menu, not in the plant power section). We all enjoyed the dishes, especially the pancakes (including the non-vegans). I might come back for food, but I do wish they would have clearly labeled vegan options here. It’s Boulder, it’s 2024, so having more than one option that is clear and doesn’t require a lot of customization and guesswork to make vegan would be awesome. Beyond that, the service and environment were exceptional.

Another excellent experience at Snooze .. my first visit was six years ago and the same impression I have now. Meals were served hot and excellent taste. Server was very friendly and helpful. Will come back every time I'm in Boulder.

Google
The flight of gf pancakes was great! There were several other yummy lookin options on the menu. I will Def be going back!

Google
We had breakfast here. The ambience is good. The server was friendly and helpful. The place nice and clean. The food was tasty. I had the corn beef hash with toasted sourdough bread. They’re generous with the food for the price. It filled me up all day. Definitely a restaurant to try when in Boulder.

Google
Snooze, an AM Eatery in Boulder, really delivered on breakfast. The food was top-notch. My friend and I enjoyed it so much, we ended up going back several times while we were in town. The staff made a big difference too. They were on the ball, making sure everything was just right. The environment is fun, making it a cool spot to start the day. Bottom line: if you're in Boulder and you're looking for a solid breakfast spot, Snooze, an AM Eatery should be on your list. The flavors they're serving up for breakfast are worth waking up for.

Google
Snooze was a high-service place to eat breakfast. All of the staff were really nice. Snooze was also very clean and was a comfortable restaurant. I took my kids and wife there and we all found something to eat. My kids say the chocolate chip pancakes and french toast were amazing.

Olga K.

Yelp
What a nice surprise. Very vibrant and happy atmosphere inside. Great menu with all kinds of breakfast options. I had one of the best crab Benedicts I ever had. It was so delicious. Sweet potato pancakes were an amazing sweet treat after the breakfast main course. I will be going here again if I am in Boulder or Denver Airport. Also, it was a friendly and quick service even with a packed house. Highly recommend it.

Yelp
Visiting from Indiana. Picked by a teen. Was a good choice. Pork belly fried rice was given 5 stars by 22 yr old. The bread pudding french toast was also given 5 stars by all of us. Would not order the biscuits and gravy again. Disappointing. I prefer fluffy not crunchy bread with my gravy. That plate was just meh. The Monte Cristo was given a thumbs down.$3 Blackberry Mint Limeade mocktail was tasty but it was gone in like four drinks- mostly ice. Good waitstaff. Nice menu. Would recommend. Would definitely go back!

Yelp
This is a cute chain breakfast joint and they have a location conveniently located in downtown Boulder. Things I liked: You can view the wait time (or make a reservation) online--there wasn't a wait when I went The decor is cute and charming You can do takeout, delivery, etc. Service was prompt and friendly It's family friendly, but they also have booze if that's your thing Things I was so-so on: The food was just okay--my benny (the green chile one) tasted okay, but the benny itself was cold and the eggs were way underdone I had to salt, pepper, and ketchup the absolute dickens out of the hashbrowns (which were hot) to get much flavor, and the texture was almost like a casserole (think Cracker Barrel's hashbrown casserole) Overall, I may have just misordered and I'd go again.

Yelp
Overall, amazing breakfast and lunch offered at Snooze! I went with family and had the Hawaiian beef short rib off the summer menu. I thought the flavor profile was pretty one-dimensional (on the salty and savory side)--that being said, I practically licked my bowl clean because the flavor was still delicious! Cons: My parents got coffees, and the mug mom's 7 dollar latte came in was very small. Our server was very nice, but it was busy and he seemed rushed in every interaction; plus, he completely forgot to bring out one of our drink orders. Pros: Food was very good all-around, and my parents liked the flavor of their coffee. I tried the bread pudding french toast (dad's order), and it was spectacular! I would recommend Snooze to others for sure!

Yelp
Visiting our friends in Longmont. They recommended this place for breakfast - my wife and I were not disappointed at all! What an amazing selection of great breakfast faves. In conclusion, we will be back again without any hesitation the next time we are in town again. Great bright interior and happy decor with prompt and attentive service staff in a busy place is plus. I heard that the "Bennies" aka Eggs Benedicts were great here. So, I chose the crab cake and avocado Benny - sooooo good. I am going to steal this recipe for my Sunday brunch at my own home.

Madison D.

Yelp
Greta breakfast & great service. The menu is unique and thought out for a chain restaurant. There is still something for everyone and is a good place to grab breakfast or brunch. They also have an app. Delicious!!

Jane B.

Yelp
Very reliable across states. I've been to a few Snoozes and each one I go to, the staff is very friendly, helpful and kind. The food is reliable, each location I've noticed prepares the food to the same quality and standards. Ambiance is modern, I like sitting outside when the weather permits. Even indoors is structured well though. I love that Snooze has alternatives to dietary restrictions. The servers I've experienced have done a great job about checking for allergens and catering to needs.

Sairey V.

Yelp
The Avocado toast is excellent! We stopped several times during our trip to Boulder. My husband tried several different items off the menu and loved it all as well. Highly recommend

J L.

Yelp
Outdoor seating available. Great location. Tasty cocktails and delicious breakfast. Bacon was amazing. Don't miss out on the bread pudding French toast. Big enough to share.

Donni U.

Yelp
We were actually lucky the wait was 45 minutes because we chose to sit, immediately at the full service bar. Jordan and new employee Jessica, we're so efficient and friendly!! We loved our food, lattes and fun conversation!

Alex C.

Yelp
Pancake Heaven. Pricey for what it is and a long wait. However, we tried 3 of the different specialty pancakes and they were WORTH THE WAIT! Yum!

Stephanie C.

Yelp
Their "Benny Duo," where you get to choose two half orders of whatever Benedicts you want, is how every restaurant should serve Eggs Benedict. I had mixed one Ham and one Smashed Avocado and it was perfect.

Kayla L.

Yelp
A busy place but for good reason! The food is fantastic. I'd definitely recommend getting on the online waitlist ahead of time. We waited about an hour on a Sunday around noon, but got seated within 5 mins of our arrival because we had joined online. There are so many good food options. I got the 3 egg scramble and chose sausage, cheddar cheese, and pico as my 3 enhancements. It was soooo good. Comes with hashbrowns and toast! I loved the jam that accompanied it for the toast as well. I found it interesting they don't have soda, but don't fret! They have plenty of other beverage options including Bloody Mary, grapefruit and other juices, and delicious mock tails. And various coffee beverages, of course! There's something for everyone!

Victoria V.

Yelp
Everything about this place was amazing. The food is so unique in is construction and flavors. Service was fantastic. Atmosphere was so fun, bright, and cheerful.

Charlotte T.

Yelp
Yes, yes and YES!! We went to the Denver location and just had to go back when we were in Boulder. You really can not go wrong. The avocado toast was soooo perfect. And the corn beef hash was filling and flavorful. I would tell everyone to go here for breakfast if you are going to Colorado.

Shelly D.

Yelp
Decent food. Mediocre vibes (even outdoors). Okay service, nothing special. The Classics is okay, no frills but not amazing. I mean you can't mess this up, can you? The Chile Verde Benedicts with beef was pretty good. Good runny eggs and taste like a taco married a Benny, in a good way. Potatoes/hash brown are well done! The bathrooms are spotless clean (on a Monday morning), the seating (both inside and outside) are old international looking and thus disappointing. Not a cute vibe, it feels like a 2000s diner kind of vibe

Lucas K.

Yelp
We heard rave reviews about this place for breakfast. The first day we tried to go around 9am and there was a massive line to get in...So we figured it must be worth it. Went much earlier the next day and it was almost empty. The service was great. The restaurant was clean and definitely gave off that "diner" vibe. But the food was average at best. Underwhelming even...If this is one of the best breakfast places in the Denver/Boulder area, I think there is a need for a real greasy spoon breakfast diner.

Mercer D.

Yelp
We've been going to Snooze for breakfast for as long as its been open in Boulder. The food is delicious. Sometimes it is inconsistent, like the time when the green chile hollandaise sauce turned crazy spicy hot for a few months, and then it switched back. But recently, we've been frustrated by the reduction in portion size - most notably in the Spuds Deluxe dish. It would be great if the Snooze team could focus more on consistent portion sizes. Snooze is a family favorite, but with prices increasing and portions shrinking, I'm not sure we can keep choosing Snooze for breakfast.

Nadia M.

Yelp
This place rocked! I loved how friendly and warm the servers are - that goes a long way. I'm unable to eat certain ingredients and they went out of their way to check all of the alternative milks to make sure that they gave me the right one :-) the food is also very delicious and I would definitely come back!

Souhail E.

Yelp
Amazing food, service, and ambiance. Keep it up. Visiting Boulder for the first time in a long time and this is a place I would strongly recommend for a good healthy breakfast and a great time.

Kim A.

Yelp
You can't go wrong with breakfast at snooze! They have so many great options. I usually opt for an omelette or an egg dish and share something sweet with a friend. Their strawberry pancakes are delish. Service is fast and friendly. I recommend getting on the wait list (through Yelp) prior to getting there as there's usually a long wait on the weekends.

Heather W.

Yelp
Cool vibes and creative mimosas - what more could you want for breakfast? Oh maybe some delicious shrimp and grits or strawberry shortcake pancakes! Every time I go here I'm impressed with their wait staff and delicious food. I highly recommend getting their app so you secure your place in line and get reward points and menu items.

Andrew M.

Yelp
First time eater at this establishment, but now a favorite spot when visiting Boulder, CO. The restaurant was very clean, and the family was digging the 50s/60s retro decor. Service was spot on, with very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable staff. The food is what to come back to. I had the Habanero Pork Belly Fried Rice, and it was spot on; I had to fend off my daughter from eating more of my food. We also had the breakfast quesadilla, breakfast burrito, the snooze classic, double bacon sandwich, and the breakfast tacos. I enacted the "Dad Tax" and mandated to try each dish; none disappointed. Highly recommended!

Michael C.

Yelp
This has consistently been a 4 **** place but our latest visit a couple of weeks ago dropped it to a 3. Why? We were on the waiting list and it went from 1hour to 1 hour 20 minutes till we were sat. Coffee was weak. Did they change brands? Also, it was tough to get creamer and coffee refills. It's breakfast, people want coffee. And why do they serve cream in little thimble like creamers? Give us some cream, after two of us at the table asked for xtra creamer. And finally, the food was way off, it looked liked the kitchen just threw it on the plate. The plates used to come out clean and well presented, this felt like a high school plate presentation. Just sloppy. Flavor quality just wasn't there. Oh well, it was a good run Snooze.

Paul B.

Yelp
Brunch is important! But service and feeling of being welcomed is even more important! The crew in Boulder really did a great job!

Lisa H.

Yelp
Great location often with a long wait but the yelp add yourself to the air feature helps with that. The food is good but they have a Plant Based Section of the menu in which everything includes eggs which makes it not plant based at all. A better heading would be meat free. As a vegan it's disappointing to have to remove eggs for something and still be charged for them. Should breakfast for 2 people with juice and coffee be $60 probably not but the ambiance makes it somewhat worth it.

Emily W.

Yelp
Amazing! Quick service and the breakfast was great. Got a breakfast sandwich on a pretzel bun

Kristen F.

Yelp
Busy place in the heart of Boulder! We went at a popular time when everybody and their mama were also trying to brunch. Service wasn't anything spectacular. The drinks took awhile but I think the bar was working as quick as they could with the staff they had. As a vegan... I appreciated seeing tofu scramble on the menu. I opted for that over the vegan chorizo and made a scramble with veggies. I opted for tortillas instead of toast because I love a build your own taco moment. The pepper sauces that they give you when you ask for hot sauce are delish! I also saw a table with Cholula--also delish but glad I got the ones I hadn't tried before. This was MAJOR KEY because unfortunately the tofu was very under seasoned. PEOPLE--tofu doesn't have any flavor, you gotta add the flavor!! For example, onion powder, garlic powder, pepper, salt, a little turmeric if you have it on hand and want to make it look a lil yellow. Would I choose to come here as a vegan again? Nope. Was I happy they had something for me since we were here to celebrate someone's birthday? Yes. Did I clear my plate? Yes. And everyone else seemed to enjoy their food enough to leave 4/5 stars.

Carmen H.

Yelp
My first time in Colorado and I knew this place was a must visit! WoW! So delicious!! I had a hard time choosing what I wanted, everything sounded amazing! I went with the Juan's breakfast tacos and ate every single bit of it! I added a side of jalapeños because I like it spicy. I will forever be craving these! I also got the pancake of the week which was chocolate peanut butter. I ate that as my dessert the waiter was nice and we had no wait at all for a table. The restaurant and restrooms were clean. Will most definitely go back again when I'm back in town.

Just B.

Yelp
Amazing breakfast! Great service and an all around cool location. Will be back next time we visit boulder.

Mitali N.

Yelp
Must try brunch place. Great avocado toast, omlettes and side kicks to customize hash browns (don't miss the roasted cauliflower option and salsas). Pancake flight was a novel idea on the menu. Special mention to the Lavender Latte! Very attentive service.

Madison A.

Yelp
We decided to visit Snooze on a day trip to boulder. We are from NC visiting. Everything we ate here was a 10/10. We went on a Tuesday around 9:30 am and were sat immediately. Our server Reed was outstanding. Everyone here is super friendly and the decor is retro. They have indoor seating and patio seating with heaters. If we are ever back in Colorado, this is definitely on the list.

Mr. S.

Yelp
The food is 5 stars, the service is 2 stars. Service was slow and very inattentive despite being slow. I had finished my meal about 10 minutes prior to finally being offered a check. Bad day? Or bad service? You decide.

Casey R.

Yelp
Had absolutely the worst meal food wise AND service wise. Used to live in Boulder and came back for a vacation with my two kids. We were seated pretty quickly around 1pm in the afternoon as tables were clearing from the lunch rush, but they essentially ignored us for the better part of an hour unless we stood up and waved someone down, which I absolutely hate to do. Kids were 11 months and 5 years old, so we were not there for a leisurely meal. My husband who is the most laid back person on the planet was ready to lose it by the end, as he finally had to pack up the kids and leave while I waited (for another TWENTY MINUTES before someone even came near enough our table for me to flag down) to pay the bill. He has never posted a review in his life or cared enough about any restaurant experience to post a review and before we left he said you absolutely need to write about this awful experience. Most people around us were similarly without food for a long time or waiting for a check forever, it wasn't just us. There was a lot of staff but for whatever reason they seemed to be concentrated in the kitchen. Food-wise, the pancakes were fine but the rest of the food was terrible. When I lived here I considered this place a little touristy so I didn't come often but clearly it has rested on its laurels and gone fully downhill. Would not return or recommend it to anyone, especially if you have kids!

Ashley M.

Yelp
This location only serves Abbot's plant based chorizo as replacement for the traditional soyrizo that is served and every other snooze in the Denver metro. It's gross. I don't recommend. This snooze doesn't hold up to the other snooze's in the area.

Alisa J.

Yelp
Had brunch here on Wednesday after Christmas and it was surprisingly very crowded. The wait time wasn't bad and they have a text wait system which is convenient. I had the barbacoa chile verde eggs Benedict. It was super awesome! The barbacoa was tender and spicy. I loved how the bread underneath was like a tortilla with green chile instead of a traditional English muffin. Would definitely order again and I highly recommend this meal to anyone who love eggs Benedict and is looking for a twist. Wasn't too spicy and also had potatoes and pico on the side. Service was quick and overall ok. They didn't come around to refill water at all and at the end they leave you with the electronic bill which was easy to use.

Deb M.

Yelp
Delicious Vanilla Cranberry Cosmo on the Holiday menu. Bravacado Toast was delicious. Toast was crispy and eggs were cooked perfectly! Added name to the waitlist before we got there so we didn't wait more than a couple minutes. Everything was good!

J.R. R.

Yelp
Very popular eatery in downtown Boulder. Dog friendly on the outside patio with umbrella covered tables. I had a very basic eggs, chorizo and hash browns breakfast. It was delicious! Took a while for the food to come out but like I said it is very popular.

Victoria M.

Yelp
We are visiting Boulder for the first time & tried Snooze out for breakfast. Everything was so delicious & they had a lot of choices for toppings & add-ons. My husband got the OMG French Toast and absolutely loved it. I got the Spuds Deluxe with bacon & jalapeños. My husband's only complaint was that there was no soda available and he does not drink coffee or alcohol. The atmosphere was great, with a bright, retro vibe and our server was attentive. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we recommend it!

Ashley P.

Yelp
The yummiest breakfast place! The Bacon but different melted in our mouth like a dessert- we had to get another order it was so delicious. The pancake flight was delicious- cinnamon pancake was my favorite but it wasn't on the menu so you have to ask for it. Great service and friendly staff. Wish we had one at home so we could come here all the time!

Sarkis L.

Yelp
My 85 year old dad and I love coming here. The food is excellent and the staff is top-notch. Bari is a rockstar waitress! She's super patient and engaging with my dad, even when he's being extra bizarre . The fact that she's solid has me be able to relax and enjoy the experience. Would give 5 stars except it's often way too loud in there (music and people)... Thank you! We'll be back soon

Candi R.

Yelp
Stopped in with friends to have breakfast. Had a bit of a wait but they do have a waiting list you can get on to cut down on the time waiting for a table. We called ahead and got on the list. They have a great menu with all the classics as well as some fun new twists. Kind of a cute retro look to the inside. We ordered a breakfast burrito and added bacon... very large portion and tasty. 2 of us ordered different eggs Benedict. There are several choices and was very happy with both. They come with a has browns. Several juices, coffee and alcoholic breakfast drinks as well. There are a few different locations and I can't wait to go try them! Great breakfast !

J J.

Yelp
Always a great experience here. Food is awesome - they have a great selection and are gluten-friendly plus they can handle other food allergies and avoid cross-contamination, wait staff are timely and friendly, and location near the Pearl Street Mall is perfect.

Jodi G.

Yelp
Fantastic service with delicious food. We loved everything and would go regularly if we lived here.

Edward M.

Yelp
Fantastic food--exceptional service--and I'm ready to face the day. I had the sweet potato bacon smash and I'm going to try my best to recreate that magic at home.

Kari N.

Yelp
Super fun, great waitstaff, and delicious food whether you like healthy fare or food that just tastes delicious

Caroline T.

Yelp
We came here for breakfast on a Sunday morning, the staff was very welcoming and the inside of the restaurant is fun and funky. We got iced vanilla lattes, porridge, pancake flight to share, and Bella Bella Benny. Vanilla Latte - 8/10 no complaints, good flavor, a bit expensive. Porridge - 7/10, has lots of fruit, but the porridge has little flavor. Could have used some brown sugar. They also have hemp seeds which got in my teeth as I was eating. Bella Bella Benny - 8/10, comes on toast crisp instead of a English muffin, so it is more crunchy than your average Benedict. Hash browns very good. Pancake flight - 6.5/10 we got the chocolate chip (9/10), blueberry danish (4/10), and strawberry shortcake (7/10). Blueberry Danish was super sweet. Shortcake was sweet but good flavor, chocolate chip was delicious. They didn't provide us with syrup and it would've been better with syrup. This was overpriced too (14$ for three small pancakes)

Marybeth P.

Yelp
We've been coming here for years, and I've never felt compelled to write a review before. We've probably been to this location 50+ times in 10 years. Overall, the food is very consistent, which is nice. They serve the pancakes and waffles with real maple syrup, which is also nice. We're not usually fans of alcohol with breakfast but the few times we've tried their alcoholic drinks they've been just okay. Nothing super memorable. Just know that there are other locations to choose from in the area, and that the pearl street location is always super busy with up to a two hour wait at times. Using open table to snag a seat saves you having to go in and make a reservation, you can just show up when it's ready and skip the wait. Staff here at this location can be really snooty& miss details of your order etc. as a result of how busy they are, and service attitude here is meh consistently. On our last visit here, our server was noticeably rude to our kids and they took forever to seat us even though our reservation was ready and our table was visibly available. Just know you're not getting the best of snooze if you show up to this location ;-) The other locations (ie. Westminster) tend to have much better service and shorter waits with friendlier staff. I would suggest leaving the pearl street spot for the tourists and college kids. What I recommend from the menu: the bacon is good, their French toast and waffles are good, the vegan pancakes are good, but my personal favorite is the bravocado toast.

Tara K.

Yelp
If you're in need of a killer brunch, you won't be disappointed. My husband and I stopped by midweek after noon and were happy to see the place wasn't busy. We were quickly seated, in the back but whatever, and our server stopped by to grab our drink orders. My husband was in shock (probably mentally AND physically) that they didn't serve any sodas, but the iced tea and mocha something he ordered seemed to make up for it. Food-wise, I ordered the French Toast Neat, he got the Bravocado Toast, and we both got a side of hash browns. Both meals were so freaking good. I'm a huge French toast nerd and was torn between the Neat, OMG, and Funky Monkey so next time I visit, I'm getting wild and experimenting with 1 of the other 2. His meal was also incredibly delicious and we both really liked the hash browns. Our server wasn't as attentive as we would've liked. Drinks weren't refilled, he stopped by once during the meal, and instead of bringing us the check, he was in the back corner playing basketball or something with da bois. I mean, I get it. Young, college atmosphere so that's the kind of service you can expect but bruuuuuuh. He was friendly but service could've been better.
