Bouldin Creek Office Building Looks for New Restaurant on South Lamar | Eater Austin

"A brunch chain opening a second San Antonio location in the Huebner neighborhood; the new outpost serves the chain's usual pancakes, egg dishes, and brunch cocktails, and ahead of opening raised funds for three local nonprofits (San Antonio Pets Alive, the Arc of San Antonio, and Keep San Antonio Beautiful) through community brunch events." - Nadia Chaudhury

Mmmm, good food. We were there mid-week during breakfast hours & got seated immediately. Service was good. My daughter loves breakfast sandwiches, and theirs did not disappoint. It is supposed to come with a scrambled egg and sausage, and her request for bacon and an over-medium egg was met with a can-do attitude and perfect execution from the back end kitchen. I ordered the corned beef hash and was very pleasantly surprised by the huge chunks of real corned beef: cooked, cut and hand shredded in-house --> it was far superior to any other restaurant's corned beef hash. The bacon was their version of Million Dollar Bacon and was the perfect blend of sweet and salty and spicy and porky. Service was never delayed & food was perfectly prepared ... Snooze is now in our rotation for breakfast spots.

Our family loves Snooze! Every dish we have tried has always been amazing! We love the full bar option. Our favorite drinks are the Palomimosa, Sparklin’ With a Splash, and the Espresso Martini! It is a must stop for us anytime we are in the area!

My recent weekday visit to Snooze proved to be the ideal solution and an absolutely delightful experience. Walking in mid morning during the week, I was pleasantly surprised to be seated immediately a true rarity and major plus for anyone seeking a relaxed start to their day. This hassle free entry set the tone perfectly for a calm and enjoyable meal. Once seated, the vibrant yet comfortable atmosphere welcomed us. The menu is a creative celebration of breakfast and lunch classics, offering inventive twists alongside traditional favorites. Everything we ordered arrived promptly and was clearly prepared with care using fresh ingredients. From fluffy pancakes to perfectly cooked eggs Benedict and excellent coffee, the flavors were consistently spot-on. The quality of the food genuinely lived up to the anticipation. Service was equally impressive. Our server was friendly, attentive without being intrusive, and clearly knowledgeable about the menu. They ensured our coffee cups stayed full and checked in at just the right intervals, contributing significantly to the smooth and pleasant pace of our meal. What stood out was the combination of this fantastic food and service with the sheer ease of a weekday visit. There was no jostling for space, no background buzz of a long waiting list, just a genuinely enjoyable, laid-back brunch experience. The value felt excellent considering the quality and portion sizes. If you crave a top-notch brunch but dread the typical weekend chaos, I cannot recommend a weekday trip to Snooze highly enough. It offered everything you want from a great brunch with delicious, creative food, excellent service, and a cheerful vibe. It was a consistently great experience from start to finish.

Google
One of my top brunch spots. Customer service is always great. I usually get the shrimp and grits, but tried the new biscuits and gravy. The gravy was actually good (not everyone's gravy is good), and the biscuits were so buttery and soft. Paired with a Butterfly Lemonade, probably the best Lemonade I've ever had.

Never disappoint! This is the second time I been to this restaurant just in a different location. The food is always delicious. We never have to wait long even super packed . Mia was our server she was the sweetest young lady , very attentive, super quick with all requests, n great recommendations. Of course we had to try out the mimosas Dorian Sunday brunch . We even tried a martini mimosa which was light and refreshing. We're big backs so we started with the stuffed French toast which is awesome! Then we had the avocado toast Benedict, the eggs were cooked to perfection. This is one of my favorite brunch places in San Antonio!

Google
During our recent visit to Snooze AM, I was enveloped in a serene and inviting atmosphere that perfectly complemented our brunch experience. We arrived around 1:00 PM, eager to indulge in a delightful selection from their brunch menu. To our delight, the food exceeded our expectations and was served with impressive efficiency. We started our meal with the Stuffed French Toast as an appetizer, which was a decadent choice that beautifully set the tone for what was to come. The blend of flavors was exquisite, making it a must-try for anyone visiting. For my main course, I opted for the standard Snooze Breakfast, a classic offering featuring perfectly cooked eggs, crispy bacon, and an added sausage link that elevated the dish further. The hash browns were wonderfully seasoned and provided a satisfying crunch. My dining partner chose the Avocado Smash, complete with a delicately poached egg on top. She was thoroughly impressed by the freshness and presentation of her dish, and we both reveled in the quality of our meals. Visually, each dish was a feast for the eyes, plated with care and artistry. While the overall dining experience was delightful, I did notice that the restroom facilities could use some attention, which, while not the focus of our visit, is worth mentioning. Cleanliness in all areas of a restaurant contributes to the overall impression. As we savored our meals, we enjoyed a round of mimosas that were both refreshing and perfectly balanced. The promptness in service was commendable; our server, Mia, took excellent care of us, ensuring that our needs were met without delay. Her attentiveness, along with the assistance of her colleagues, created a warm and welcoming environment that made us feel valued as guests. In summary, our visit to Snooze AM was marked by delicious food, a pleasant atmosphere, and admirable service. Despite the minor oversight concerning cleanliness, the overall experience was quite positive, and I would certainly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a reliable brunch spot.

Google
I visited Snooze this morning, and it was an amazing experience. When we arrived, there was a line outside the restaurant, but it moved quickly—we waited for about 10 minutes. Once seated at a very clean and pleasant table, Shelby welcomed us warmly and helpfully explained the parts of the menu we had questions about. The food was excellent. We ordered Snooze classics, the Benny Duo, and both strawberry and blueberry pancakes. We also enjoyed a mimosa and the Snooze blend coffee. Every item we tried was delicious. The service was outstanding—Shelby took great care of us throughout the meal. If I could make one suggestion, it would be to add curtains or shades during the morning hours, as the sun can shine directly on some of the indoor tables and make it a bit uncomfortable. Overall, I highly recommend visiting this great restaurant!

Google
Really wonderful restaurant with friendly service. However, you spend over $20 for breakfast that comes to you cold. How very disappointing, especially when it's pancakes??. .I love the espresso martini.

Yelp
Everything went well food, service and ambiance excellent. All of the employees and managers are nice and welcoming

Yelp
Snooze is great! The menu is extensive and has great variety. The food is always fresh and yummy. The service is always friendly. The interior is modern and clean! Reasonable prices in my opinion. They're super inclusive and that alone earns them 4 stars! ‍ Check em but remember, they close early in the day!

Yelp
I am already a big Snooze AM Eatery fan, but haven't been to this location. The host and servers were all very pleasant. The waitlist option via Yelp was clutch for a 10 AM brunch on a Sunday for four people... Only waited 10 minutes. They had a large Jenga game outside for us to play with and were seated right away! My favorite egg benedict of all time was their Crabcake Benny... however, they have new menu items featuring avocado, and their avocado Smash Benny is to die for! My infatuation with snooze a.m. eatery has been reignited! The Parmesan crusted English muffin with the smashed avocado and poached egg is unreal! Of course their classic pancake flight is excellent as always, but my avocado cravings have a sure fire spot for brunch! Check this location out - and be sure to use the Yelp waitlist - and you won't be disappointed!!

Yelp
Great spot brunch! However the wait can be up to an hour or so times, but that just means it's a solid spot if you gotta wait to get in. The food is amazing it honestly doesn't matter what you get. The menu is accommodating to all levels of hunger and all type of options from gluten free, vegetarian or something for the meat lovers. It can be a little loud in there but over the ambiance is every chill and calm. Bring a sweater it gets cold in there. Only reason for four stars is the servers are busy and will occasionally forget to bring you something but that's because they're serving so many people. Nothing a polite reminder can't fix b

Yelp
Well, we didn't get to taste the food. We decided to leave because we waited for 65 minutes (after being told that the waiting time was 30min, when 30 min hit, they told us customers had paid but didn't leave the tables, when 50 min hit, she said they didn't have small tables available but she would see what she could do, when 65 min hit, we decided to leave). Please make sure that you plan for a hour waiting time, AT LEAST. They are NOT honest when they give you the estimate time. Double the time they give you. Also if you are a small group, let's say 2 or 3 people they will not give you a large table. They will reserve those for larger groups. Soooo on that reasoning, if a party of 8 people shows up, they will put them in front of you. We won't be coming back. Not worth it. We came to La Madeleine 6 minutes away and had an awesome breakfast! :)

Yelp
Came here for brunch before we went to a convention and we checked in on Google but when we got there asked if bar was open seating and the hostess says it is so we were able to find a quicker seat and under 10 minutes. We ate at this place in Houston and did not realize that there was one in San Antonio and the food is really good. I had something with like eggs Benedict and my wife got something with hash and it was really good. Coffee was on point and they also serve liquor for your bloody Mary's. The vibe is really nice. They have a TV if you wanna watch a game while you eat your breakfast or your brunch. Definitely one of the places I'm gonna be checking out.

Yelp
Best breakfast in San Antonio! Food and service were spot on! Such a nice change from an I-hop breakfast! A little pricy but well worth it!
google avatar

Isabella M.

Yelp
This place was good.Good breakfast for sure. But overall quite average. It sort of gives off IHOP quality food but definitely not for an ihop price. I didn't think it was all to special but overall okay food. Don't regret trying it out but probably won't return. Mostly due to service. It took a long time to get food, refills, or even ask for a to go box. The place inside was pretty but a little unkept. I'd say it is definitely for some people but not for me.

Yelp
I hadn't been to this location in ages but was getting some car work done and it was nearby. So I stopped in and glad I did. I got an espresso martini and their breakfast platter with chorizo, egg, hashbrowns and tortillas. This kept me full most of the day. The espresso martini was such a treat. It's hard for me to find these most places and they did such a great job. The bartender was fast and friendly and great at keeping up with the crowd as it picked up. She continued to check on everyone there even when hectic. I eventually moved to the patio since it was such a nice day. They have a nice outdoor area with umbrellas and nice shade along with jenga. I really enjoyed this location and will definitely return.

Yelp
I've been meaning to try this place for the longest time but every time I passed by the crowd was crazy so i would get discouraged. I found out that you can join the waitlist online so I finally tried it. Don't be like me, the big crowd is there for a reason. This place is GOOD! I got there at exactly at the time indicated on the waitlist and we were seated promptly. Service was very friendly, the place is clean, with nice ambience and fun music. We tried the regular drip coffee which did not impress me, but I'll try one of their specialty coffees next time. I ordered one of their juices, it was fabulous. The food was wonderful and fresh, I was very happy with the pork belly and overall a very pleasant experience, I will surely be there soon to try more menu items.

Yelp
Just had brunch here ! Everything was so good ! Even our baby loved his quesadilla/hashbrown/fruit cup! Service was super sweet and helpful ! Very attentive ! For being how busy they get, we still had room for our little family to move around with ease ! The wait wasn't as long as we thought it would be at all OFCOURSE, checking in early through the "join the waitlist" online.

Yelp
Came in for my brunch for my mothers birthday. I enjoy any restaurant that allows for you to join the waitlist online, especially have a disabled grand parent, waiting without seats for periods of time can be difficult. I appreciate the host for also giving us a table that better accommodating my grandmother. Our server was kind and courteous, another server can by and provided drink refills as they were making rounds table to table. My vanilla latte wasn't my favorite, I drank it, but likely wouldn't re order that in the future. Food wise: I tried everything and it was all delicious. I demolished my Smashed Avocado Benedict. Clean plate club. Overall, I enjoyed our trip and would return. On a side note: handicap parking for this area is a bit wonky, there are no handicap spots or ramps in front of the restaurant and you have to park near the corner of the complex to access the ramp.

Yelp
Today's breakfast, courtesy of Snooze, was delicious. I ordered the jalapeño and cheese omelette, plus a cuppa of their regular coffee. Your service was top-notch, as usual. Our waitress was helpful and gave us quick advice on the menu. Food came out quickly and, although she maintained our drinks, conversation was allowed to flow. Added, to the set-up of the place, which was open and comfortable, it made for a pleasant experience.

Yelp
I've been to Snooze many times, but this was my first time at this location--and overall, it was just okay. The experience felt a bit mid, and some of the food didn't quite hit the spot. I ordered the All-Meat Omelette with hashbrowns. The omelette was decent, nothing bad, but the hashbrowns tasted off. The potatoes had an unusual flavor and texture--kind of undercooked and mushy. I even tried the hashbrowns from the other plates at the table, and mine was definitely the odd one out. We also had the bacon appetizer, which was really good--a great mix of sweet and spicy flavors. Then we tried the pancake flight, which included Cinnamon Roll, Strawberry Shortcake, and Pineapple Upside Down Cake. My favorite was definitely the pineapple one--it melted right into the pancake and soaked it in flavor. The other two were decent. Service was great, and even though the place was packed, the wait time flew by. Overall, it wasn't a bad visit--just not as solid as what I've come to expect from other Snooze locations. Thank you for the experience!

Yelp
Food was delicious. The breakfast burrito was enough for two meals. The classic snooze was a perfect amount of food. I chose the pretzel sandwich, Sandwich I am, it was good but probably wouldn't order again. Good value for the serving size . Great waitstaff and environment/
google avatar

Yelp
I've been two times and both times, it honestly wasn't my favorite. I've gotten the juan's breakfast tacos and for me, it needed a lot more flavor and I've also got the OMG french toast. I did like the french toast as it was layered with mascarpone topped with strawberries and toasted coconut. The only thing is that it does get quite busy on the weekends and the environment gets extremely loud making it difficult to talk to the person next to you. Other than that, i'm willing to give it another shot!
google avatar

Angie H.

Yelp
Amazing I keep getting the best server at this establishment by coincidence. Nicholas B is the best server always with a smile and amazing wait time. I will always put a review and recommend he is commended for excellent service here.

Ioan R.

Yelp
The food quality is best in town! Doug was exceptionally attentive to us , he deserves a raise !

Kevin S.

Yelp
Always good food. Good service. Good selection for all dietary needs. Fully recommend. Worth the wait, if you have to wait.

Leslie S.

Yelp
We sat down right away even though it is a Sunday brunch. Placed our orders in as soon as possible but waited 20 minutes for our food to arrive at the table. The food was delicious and the drinks are good too.

Clara S.

Yelp
Always having a great experience here! They are busy and still very attentive love the atmosphere here every time
google avatar

Karmen K.

Yelp
I came here with a friend for brunch, and there was a 20-30 minute wait when we arrived, which got longer as we waited. I definitely recommend using the waitlist. Our waiter was super attentive and checked on us often. We tried a couple of different mimosas, and they were really yummy. I had the Duo Eggs Benedict to sample both the habanero pork belly and the green chile pork. Both options were creative and delicious. Overall, it was a great brunch spot, and I'd happily come back.
google avatar

Trina W.

Yelp
Inside is cute, retro. All breakfast, no lunch items during lunch hours. Took a bit for the food to come out even though it wasn't super busy. Got the breakfast sandwich that comes with bacon and pork belly. It was okay, I didn't care much for the bacon , it had some kind of rub on it and the aioli luckily came in the side because it was a little too sweet for my taste. The hash brown puck that came on the side wasn't super flavorful but still good, different. Lots of menu items plus alcoholic beverages if you're into that.
google avatar

Promotores L.

Yelp
Horrible Service, horrible customer service, they are super rude, food is ok just wouldn't recommend sorry never coming back again.
google avatar

Tabitha D.

Yelp
Great brunch spot! Has coffee; adult beverages; breakfast; lunch; desserts; etc. And if you're not sure, your server will make a great recommendation. Try the Super Greens drink - a great concoction to drink your veggies! Lots of seating too!
google avatar

Nancy G.

Yelp
I really like that you can get on the waitlist before you get to the location, they were pretty busy! It was a cute little dining area and the staff were friendly. I got the snooze classic, it's a simple breakfast, eggs, bacons, hash browns and toast. I ordered over hard and got runny eggs, which is not my favorite at all unfortunately. The hash browns could have been a bit more crispy on the inside, the outside of them was crispy but inside was soft cooked hash brows. The burrito was pretty good and was a good size portion. The OMG French toast was a bit too soft for me. It was giving tres leches, so if you like tres leches cake, this French toast is for you, but I wanted more toast texture imo, but it was good with the coconut flakes but wish it wasn't that moist. Overall, a decent place!
google avatar

Rhene M.

Yelp
This is my favorite of all places here in San Antonio. Their food is delicious. Service is great! I always make sure to leave a generous tip every time I visit. And not to mention the ambience is very lively that makes me eat there more often.
google avatar

Candice G.

Yelp
I love snooze! They have my favorite breakfast, I prefer to dine rather than carry out. My service has always been great when dining in and the waitstaff always keep my coffee full and get my order correct every time! The restaurant has a fun vibe and is relaxing all at the same time! The have a really good selection of alcoholic beverages for breakfast
google avatar

Devon T.

Yelp
Everything here is sooooo good! Nick is an amazing server, and the manager Daniel was so kind. You need to have breakfast here!
google avatar

Randy G.

Yelp
This place never ceases to disappoint me. We arrive when there is literally no wait list to even join, we arrive, and are told it's 40 minutes for a table and that "it JUST got busy right now". Bullshit. The food isn't special enough to overcome the consistently terrible customer service experience and wait
google avatar

Waseem A.

Yelp
Snooze was delicious, as a vegetarian there are countless options and customization and the wait staff is happy to accomodate. Ambiance is your typical brunch place and outdoor seating is great in the fall and winter. We've eaten here multiple times with friends and the meals are always enjoyable and what you expect.
google avatar

Emily W.

Yelp
Food is scrumptious: mom got the Wow! French Toast that was delicious! I ordered the Egg white omelet + Protein and devoured every bite. It's a pretty penny, but the taste is worth it. There's no handicapped accessibility so it was tough to get into- a man was walking out on a walker and mom Was entering on one.
google avatar

Mina B.

Yelp
Outdoor seating was nice and you can take your dog Good breakfast variety present The egg Benedict's are great and delicious
google avatar

Ashley T.

Yelp
Sooooo good! I decided to have the egg scrambled on the side instead of sunny side up on top of the grits, which is how they typically make it. Mimosas were super good and the staff was amazing!

Kim F.

Yelp
We joined the rewards program instantly-- it's that great. You can eat as keto-friendly as you want to, or toss it out the window and eat fabulous carbs like cinnamon roll pancakes. We've always had excellent service. We love the vintage diner decor (wish I had the multicolor leather in my breakfast nook). We strongly suggest going on a weekday; the weekend wait can be daunting, plus hearing is a challenge when the place is packed.
google avatar

Laurie O.

Yelp
Checking in online is convenient and we didn't have to wait! The restaurant is always clean, but bathroom could use a bit of a deep cleaning. The servers are extremely friendly and quick. I went to this location to catch up with a friend and we had a yummy brunch. Vegan pancakes and avocado toast--delish!
google avatar

Victor R.

Yelp
From the protein and veggie egg white scramble to the tofu scramble, there really are no bad options here. I started with an awesome coffee and mimosa in their outdoor seating and tried their amazing meals. I will return!
google avatar

Rich H.

Yelp
We haven't been here since moving to the other side of Bandera. It used to be , and still is, our favorite breakfast place. We sat at the bar because there is rarely any wait as it's open seating. Gabby ( I hope that's her name. No one wears a name tag or introduces themselves anymore) was a rock star behind the bar. She was making a lot of bloody Mary's and I thought that the looked good. I generally like them spicy but she warned me that theirs were really spicy since it's made with a habanero & jalapeño infused vodka. She made me what she called a happy medium and it was awesome! I had the spuds deluxe as shown and my wife had a bacon and egg sandwich with a side of the hash browns. It was a big enough serving that we each had some to bring home. Better bring your wallet though. This breakfast for two was over $58.
google avatar

Emilie A.

Yelp
Favorite brunch spot! I will never NOT order an omelette, hashbrowns, and sourdough toast!
google avatar

Ariel G.

Yelp
Great food. Great service. Vegan bliss pancakes are perfect for my son with a dairy and egg allergy. We had to order an extra pancake for him. The Juan's Breakfast Tacos are amazing. Make sure you add chorizo and avocado.
google avatar

Edna D.

Yelp
The food is so good specially the pancakes!! Good service and the vibes are awesome the only thing bad side is the wait.
google avatar

Savina M.

Yelp
Snooze never disappoints! Awesome service from our server, pleasant ambiance and delicious food every time. If you haven't been before, I'd definitely recommend trying it for something different for brunch/breakfast! It does get very packed if it's your first time, make sure your full party is present! They won't sit you down unless everyone is there. There were plenty of tables & I was waiting for my husband to come in while obviously 8 1/2 months pregnant and they still had no mercy and didn't seat me until he walked in lol. Just something to take note of!
google avatar

Jeff S.

Yelp
The pla e has great food but is always so busy. We went to get a table, and it was a 30 min wait. Th we you had plenty of tables outside, not even offered that option. Maybe not enough wait staff??? Sad! They are permanently off my list!
google avatar

Lisa D.

Yelp
I should've stayed at Magnolia when I was on the waitlist. I do not recommend!!! The customer service is very poor. I have been looking forward to coming here for several months and I am highly disappointed. Our waitress was sweet but very distracted. The floor manager is so rude. I never got the sugar for my coffee. I had to get my own ketchup. They got my order wrong.

Laura G.

Yelp
The food is good. It would be better if sides were offered with meals instead of having to order everything separately. There was a hair in my drink and server took awhile to refill drinks. So I stared at the hair in my drink for a good while. Not sure if it was a staffing issue. I probably wouldn't go again.
google avatar

Adrian R.

Yelp
I've usually go to the location in the quarry but this is the location near me. I took my daughter here for daddy daughter time. We checked in online for the waitlist and was sat in a reasonable amount of time after checking in. Upon sitting at our table we were greeted about 5 minutes later. She promptly took our order for food and drink. I ordered Snooze classic with 1 pumpkin pancake as the sweet potato pancake was replaced for the season. My daughter order the OMG French Toast. I also requested a old fashioned and my daughter a tea. This is where things changed. It took a while to get our drinks ( 15 minutes) we had to ask for water and that was another 5 minutes. Our food came out after about 20- 25 minutes from ordering minus my pancake. The food was hot and pretty tasty as always. However, I had to get the manager as I finished my entire breakfast and still never got the pancake. I wanted to cancel it at this point but she gave it to me for free. I'm not a fan of pumpkin but was trying new things. Still not a fan and the pancake comes with some sort of white drizzle and pecans. The old fashioned I got was not an old fashioned, I know it's snooze and I don't expect the one from an actual cocktail place, but not close. Just need up with a whisky on the rocks ( got two for price of one because they made too many). I love snooze but this visit was lacking from the service side.
google avatar

Angie B.

Yelp
I love this place! Every time I eat here I always leave full and very satisfied. Today was super busy, but I put our name on the list via Yelp, and when we arrived, our table was ready. I decided to try something different, so I ordered the Monte Christo with scrambled eggs. I seriously didn't think I would finish it, but unfortunately, I did. It was that good!! My husband ordered a flight of pancakes with two sunny side eggs and bacon. You can never go wrong when ordering that. Today, I decided to try a cocktail, and I'm glad I did I honestly can't remember what the waitress recommended, but it was yummy! It was vodka, sparkling wine and maybe grapefruit?? Overall it was another great experience and I highly recommend this place.
google avatar

Christina B.

Yelp
I usually love coming to this restaurant because the food and service are consistently great, but today's experience with a pick-up order left a lot to be desired. When I arrived, the employee handling to-go orders greeted the person in front of me, asked for their name, and assured them he'd check on their order. When it was my turn, however, he just looked at me, didn't say a word, and walked away. It felt dismissive, but I waited, hoping he'd ask me about my order when he returned. When he finally came back, he immediately addressed the first customer again, not even looking my way to ask for my name. It was as if I was invisible. I had to speak up to get his attention, and his response was noticeably annoyed. I politely told him my order name, and he responded with, 'Well, you can see there's only one order here,' implying I should have somehow known that was the status of my order. His tone was rude and completely unnecessary--I was just trying to find out if my order was ready, which was already delayed. This was honestly one of the most unpleasant interactions I've had here, and it left a negative impression. I really hope management addresses this issue with the staff to ensure all customers receive respectful, attentive service, even during busy times.

My friends and I stopped in for some beverages and saw that we could order a "variety of cheeses" for $1. Our waiter, Jack, responded with the types of cheeses included. Then he proceeded to only bring our beverages! Imagine my fury at his unwillingness to bring us the cheeses! I also ordered a blackberry-less/lime-less blackberry limeade to no avail. He brought me simple soda water. Needless to say, I will not be coming to this location again any time soon! The Gucci hostess was fabulous though! (Kidding on the first paragraph, of course, Jack was a great sport!)
