Call me crazy, I knew nothing about this delicious place having moved from out of state. Run, don't walk to Snooze and have something flavorful. I had the habenro friend rice with an over easy egg. It is not as spicy as you may think. As someone who eats super hot food, this is a walk in the park. You get flavor without the heat. I also had a latte and regular coffee. Yummy

Google
Snooze's lively menu did not disappoint! I went with their monthly featured pancake, the Celebration Pancake. They nailed this one! I bellied up to the bar, the bartender was phenomenal--friendly, efficient & fun!! Looking forward to my next visit to Snooze!

Google
Just make sure you're okay with loudness because that's what happens here. But if you've got good ears or you're with someone who can project, this is a great place. Great place to crank up the coffee and swim in the bacon. Yum. Parking can be a challenge, but worth overcoming. If it's peak time, you can join a wait list. Looking forward to our next visit. I only have a few pictures of the place, as soon as this friend showed up we got lost in conversation. Then the food hit and It was every person for themselves lol but that's okay cuz I'll be back and next time I'll take pictures for sure.

Google
Awesome food and service by Evelyn today! She always checked on us and we got in faster than expected. Highly recommend!

Google
When you're turning 43 alcohol flights are suddenly less exciting than PANCAKE flights!!! The pineapple upside down was chefs kiss. I thought the hashbrowns were weird at first but they were so good! I would definitely recommend the wait list, we walked in and had a 50 minute wait but it was worth it! The service was great and now I want a Snooze in Louisiana!

My husband and I decided to splurge here, and it did NOT disappoint. The food, the staff, the atmosphere, the bar, the coffee, the management….. so great! My husband had the Spud Deluxe, I had the Bravocado Toast, and we split the Vegan Banana Bliss Pancakes. Absolutely phenomenal flavors that come together with a punch. The house-made onion honey jam on the Bravocado Toast just had such a savory sweet flavor that complimented the egg, avocado, toast, and roasted tomatoes. The pancakes were so sweet but not processed sugary sweet, they were sweet with the natural fruit flavors which was ON POINT! Will absolutely be returning customers!

Google
I've been to Snooze AM at different times throughout the week, and overall, it's a solid spot for breakfast. The atmosphere can get pretty loud, especially during peak hours, and if you come during a rush, the food quality can be a bit inconsistent. That said, their juices are great, the coffee is just okay, and I really enjoy their breakfast burritos and pancakes. If you can time your visit outside the busiest hours, it's definitely worth it.

Yelp
Still fantastic! Still serving up great coffee, great food with amazing service. I first visited Snooze 6+ years ago and gave them 5 stars...and that has NOT changed, even after the pandemic. Congrats, Snooze team! Few places have managed to keep up their standards, and I applaud you for this. Please, PLEASE open a branch in Washington, DC!! We need your breakfast expertise!!

Yelp
In the span of 15 minutes and several visits to the table a single member of Snooze's waitstaff made the repeated choice to call my wife pet names like "baby" and effusely compliment her physique, makeup and outfit. If it was one or the other, we wouldn't care. It's the south, "honey" "dear" "child" "sweetheart" "doll" etc, whether right or wrong, are generally accepted as common parlance for addressing folks across many regions of this great state. Simultaneously - standalone compliments on an outfit, makeup, accessories etc can generally be considered kind and more than welcomed. However, taking into account the blatantly intimate nature of the pet name used, compounded by the unsolicited and affronting context of the additional comments the waitstaff chose to make while we're both sitting across from each other with wedding rings prominently displayed, it's disrespectful to our marriage and incredibly inappropriate. Traditional monogamous marriage between a heterosexual cis couple may or may not be the norm for some, but that doesnt give folks the right to blatantly disrespect a union we hold dear. To introduce uncomfortable and unwelcome advances into what should've been a simple lunch before heading to a concert at the rodeo, was significantly distressing. This review is wholly due to their aggregated commentary and the subsequent perception created by their unsolicited advances. Even more troubling the manager couldn't care less when we escalated. They literally shrugged it off and said "oh good grief." We tipped 20% on a $40 tab because back of house did their job - but a pattern of verbal comments that borderline on harassment of patrons shouldn't be accepted as appropriate customer service and blown off or excused by management of an establishment in 2025. Do better.

Yelp
Impromptu visit after a little Christmas shopping. We decided to treat our 8yo to brunch. She was so excited to get an adult plate of the OMG French toast! She absolutely loved it. She's a tough critic and gave it two thumbs up. My husband had the omelet and was so pleased with his decision. He said it hit the spot and delivered on all things spicy and cheesy. I had the avocado toast. It was so delicious with a sweet preserve that really complemented the dish. I attempted to eat just one toast but just couldn't help myself and had the other one too. It was okay because it came with some spinach so it cancels out the guilt.

Yelp
It's crazy busy so I recommend making a reservation before going. We waited a good 45 minutes to be seated but the service was great and food was delicious. Parking can be a soon since it's in a major shopping area. Disabled spots available near the entrance and easy to get around.

Yelp
This place never ceases to amaze. I got the Benedict Duo - Habanero Pork & the Avocado. Poached egg - perfect, as well as the hollandaise; the hash browns were the best I've had in a very long while & capped it off with a cranberry mimosa. Waitress friendly, efficient & quick. Place is always clean and friendly.
google avatar

Randy H.

Yelp
This happened a few weeks ago. The griddle was not working and there was a sign on the door before entering saying that pancakes and French toast would not be available. I asked the waiter and he said the griddle had not been working for several days. If you've seen their menu, half of it is comprised of pancakes and French toast. We were warned before we walked in and ordered breakfast anyway. The eggs were not cooked as ordered and the hash browns had no color and no flavor. What I really don't understand is why they couldn't cook both pancakes and French toast in a frying pan like most people do at home. The restaurant was only one quarter full. They definitely lost money and customers during that time. Not a good experience at all.

Yelp
Love how vibrant this place is! The decor is everything and the staff are very very sweet! I got the pumpkin latter iced and loaded hashbrowns! Super yummy! Can't wait to come back

Yelp
The food was so delicious, service was great some of the best, our waiter was always on top of everything with refills and making sure everything was good for us. The ambiance is giving cute hipster vibes and very clean and cool style. It's a place where you can have a business meeting brunch or just come and have a good time with your best friend. I saw a lot of ppl dressed formal and I also saw a lot of ppl dressed down and comfy, I did notice they have an outside area and a lot of ppl had their pets with them so it's pet friendly. Bathrooms are very clean. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful from my experience. (The "bacon but different" is soooo good )
google avatar

Yelp
I wanna say the waitress was incredible! The restaurant was clean and well decorated. A very modern fun feel the food came out literally so fast. I wasn't even sure if they had ESPN and knew what I was gonna order. The pork belly left a lot to be desired. We ordered omelettes, shared a side of toast and had two lattes. The cheddar cheese was left off of the omelettes and the food was average at best. There was nothing great about the place and the bill was more than $70 with tip. We will not be back.

Yelp
I just got done eating breakfast at Snooze, I wanted to come back based off of our interaction and experience my boyfriend and I had with the our server and ofcourse the food as well. Snooze has a very chill vibe, great selection of food from savory to sweet and perfect for breakfast/brunch with the girlies or friends and family! Not to mention how sweet and kind our server was, I believe her name was Abby/Abi, amazing customer service and overall just kind and friendly and welcoming personality! Also Karl(a)! So friendly and kind! I love how informative and helpful she was trying to give me her thoughts and opinions on what to get. I would definitely recommend going here, I know my boyfriend and I will for sure!

Yelp
I loved it here the outdoor eating & the food was pretty good. The service was decent, I didn't get to take pics

Yelp
Service was excellent, very friendly staff, and patient to answer questions. It's a busy place, we were lucky to get seated when we came (9:30 am) Food was DELICIOUS! I ordered the habanero pork belly Benedict. Incredible. It will look small when it arrives but it is very filling. Highly recommended. My son the snooze classic, seemed good since and he loved it. He's 14 and was filled up. We'll be back!

Yelp
Brunch today was super fun and yummy. Went in around 10am .. no wait .. sat at the bar. The two guys running it were entertaining, to say the least. Trying to out do each other in the customer service arena. I went for the blood orange mimosa ... love the glass size! The flavors in the drink paired well with the fresh juice. Then I ordered the habenaro pork belly benni! Wow! That was the best mix of flavors and textures. Habenaro flavored pork belly on an English muffin with a poached egg and Cranberry relish. The egg was cooked perfectly .. white done .. yellow more runny than firm. A little heat. A little sweet. I loved brunch today!

Yelp
It's located at an outdoor shopping center, but not by the Nordstrom Rack building, not between the cinema and Gold's gym, it's next to the spectrum, by Crumbl cookies. They really should remove the Snooze off that archway entrance by the cinema and Gold's, since it's way off the mark. I like the round circle booths, adorned with embroidered jack design, the dining counter and the decor is quite fun. The menu shows all of the caloric counts, that helps keep you focused if you are trying to slim down at all. Ordered the Goldilocks porridge, a protein and veggie egg white scramble and a side of berry fruit only, as I suspect the porridge may need more fruit in it. $33.02. The chicken sauce patty is like a burger. It's not bad and it's perfectly cooked as well. The protein, veggie egg white scramble isn't too bad, the sauce is a bit spicy. The Goldilocks porridge isn't too bad, a tad bland, added some brown sugar and maple syrup makes it better. I do like the toasted almond slices with the porridge. A bit odd and rather cheap of them to charge me $1 for the half tsp or so of brown sugar and maple syrup used in total, but they are charging me for the ramekin of the items.

Yelp
My brunch was amazing!!!!!! Walked in immediately and got seated, my server Samira H, was the bestttttt!!! All of my food was perfect and I have been here an hour and a half!!!! She was spot on with everything, very attentive, and recommended my pineapple mimosa that's one of my favorites! I added crab meat to my shrimp and grits and they did not disappoint, stop here and ask for her, she is amazing!! The music is young and the food and service is great!!
google avatar

Yelp
Good food had the shrimp and grits. Was really tasty and first time here Also had bacon and it had syrup or honey on it
google avatar

Kamia A.

Yelp
Pancakes were fire and the chicken sausages were amazing. The hash brown was okay. The matcha was delicious
google avatar

Stacy V.

Yelp
Just ok. Wasn't busy upon arrival but it took about 10 minutes for someone to come over and seat those in line. Good menu selection and the decor was bright and fun. Food was good but can't honestly say I'd run back here.

Yelp
30 Oct 2023 The food is always good here. A little pricey, but most items are worth the price. Husband had his usual shrimp and grits. Today, I tried the Bravocado toast. Quite good. Two slices of toast, each covered in smashed as well as slices of avocado, then topped with two eggs your way. Go over easy; the yolk will soak into the toast. Yum. Also some nuts of some sort, onion and a sweet jam and some greens. Really good. But servers, take your spats outside and don't give the customers a negative floorshow. While waiting for our table by the counter, one server snipped at another 'I'm just trying to be professional'! The reply was indifference. On the floor after being seated, another server sounded off 'why can't she just help me out, as I have other things to do'! Please, we don't need to see or hear this kind of stuff.

Yelp
First visit and it was really tasty. Bloody Mary was spot on, spicy. I am ready for a next visit

Yelp
Quickie. Because everyone loves them, right? The food was great. Loved the fact you can customize most things, from special requests to choose your own accoutrements. Love the seasonal items that prevent things from going stale for regulars. Vegetarian friendly options are a plus for those who desire! Pancakes done right. French toast could be fluffier and sweeter. Habanero pork belly right heat amount. Hash brown cakes are delicious, personally prefer them in the cake style versus the Spuds Deluxe hash style. Bennies were good, baguettes slightly stale, however. Maybe spoiled from traditional diners where it is free, but do not approve that it is $.75 per extra flavoring added to coffee! Sad that they close early every single day of the week. We can eat this anytime, social expectations be darned! The service was acceptable. We did have to flag down our waitress, even another employee for refills a few times. We were greeted, but otherwise nothing notably above average to make us feel welcomed while we were there. Polite, yes. But about it on that. Ambiance? Nice outside patio, inside was cute as far as the interior decorations. Comfortable booths, attractive looking bar area. Love the branding, down to the coat racks even having the asterisk logo symbol. They decorate for the holidays, which is a nice addition. Now for the huge negative. It was freezing in there. Maybe great in the hot summer months, both everyone in our party was cold. Even the lights hanging from the ceiling were slightly swaying due to the draft. Unfair to reduce my other stellar rating for this? I think not, because it made our dining experience uncomfortable, and there is no way I can rightfully give 4 to 5 stars to somewhere that requires a mini heater session in our vehicles after leaving. This, in addition to requesting refills on the coffee not for caffeine, but for the warmth! That being said, maybe that accounts for being wired right now! Still. Hours and hours later. Should have tried decaffeinated warmth. Quickie over. Vonia usually does very detailed reviews.

Yelp
As always, Snoozed not only "doesn't disappoint," but the service, food quality and diversity far surpasses most of the fine dining restaurants in San Antonio. The staff commitment and genuine care and concern for their guests is evident during every step of the dining process from seating to greeting to checking in on orders to payments. Hands down one of the best restaurants in San Antonio.

Yelp
It's been six years since I first tried Snooze (in Austin) so today's visit is my first at the SA location. One ubiquitous factor is the guaranteed wait for a table...and this is the main reason why it's been so long between visits. The food is good, the restaurant is good, the drinks are good, but is it *that* good? People smarter than me will have to make the determination. It's "A-Ok" (in Yelp ratings lingo) so 3-stars it is. Maybe I'll go again in another six years. Meanwhile, I know places for breakfast that are better than "A-Ok" without the insane queue.

Elizabeth C.

Yelp
Very Rude Manager. We bought two mimosas at bar during our wait for table. The bartender said we had last from keg. I thought is tasted flat and when we sat down the waiter took it back for a new one. The manager brought the new one and questioned if the one on table was the one we were re replacing, my husband said no it was my wife's. She left without saying a word and accusing. We paid bill and later I realized she added the mimosa to our ticket. We ended up paying for three. I only took two drinks, she should of asked the waiter. I called Snooze to speak to manager and I was on wait for an hour and 5 minutes. I finally hung up. So rude and unprofessional she has no role in being a manager and needs customer service skills. 15 dollars wasted for air.
google avatar

Rhonda P.

Yelp
We have visited here twice and both times were super good and yummy! Although the server forgets to give a straw and or offer one, it's minor though but I personally enjoy Snooze for breakfast!
google avatar

Justin F.

Yelp
I was around the area after an appointment and I decided to try somewhere new. I stumbled upon this business with great reviews and decided to try it out. The business is located near the gym in the shopping center and is easy to find. Parking is vast and once you arrive you are quickly greeted by staff. The ambiance of the business has a great diner vibe and the windows all around bring a good amount of light into the resturaunt. Once I was seated I was helped with the menu and ended up ordering the Habanero Pork Belly Benny w a Pineapple Upside Down Pancake. Once the plate arrived, the presentation was great and the taste was even better! Although the price was a little much, the over all experience was good. I will most likely be back in the future.
google avatar

Jaxen S.

Yelp
The food is always delicious and accompanied by great service. The only issue I've ever had here is that I want too many things off the menu. I always eat too much but I never regret it. Mimosas are strong and tasty. 5 stars!
google avatar

Felina S.

Yelp
First time in here on a Thursday morning early, so no line as I've seen others post about. I had been wanting to try due to some hype I had heard about this place. I'm not fully sold on the hype. The place is cute and has lots of big tabletops. The service was fast and friendly. The food however I was not fully impressed by. The ham on the Benedict was similar to just deli ham, the English muffin was not toasted enough, so with sauce and egg yolk it just made everything super mushy. The hash browns lacked flavor- more like they just spiced the outside after cooking. However the eggs were on point and the hollandaise sauce was creamy and yummy! Not for me but doesn't mean anyone else may not like it. ‍

LaTasha A.

Yelp
Jump in line (virtual waiting list ) to avoid the wait!! Sometimes it gets crowded, but the food is delicious and the service is impeccable. Every meal has been a great experience for me and my family. It's a great place to grab brunch then go shopping in the nearby stores. The drinks are pretty good too.

Yelp
Leticia was an amazing host. Very helpful and accommodating. Made our dinning experience great.

Yelp
Came here for Sunday brunch. Go before 9 AM or you will end up waiting. We got seated right away and ordered our coffee. Lost 1 star for serving coffee in a dirty mug. Lipstick stain was still on it, but I'm a lefty so I didn't see the stain till much later when I drank half my coffee already and noticed the dirty cup that wasn't scrubbed clean. I stopped drinking it as soon as I noticed it. Our waiter never came back to our table after taking our orders so I didn't get a new cup of coffee. It's okay, I lost my appetite after that. Thankfully, I ate my food before noticing any of the dirtiness. I ordered the benne duo: avocado smashed and habanero pork belly. Hollandaise sauce was okay, but it went well with the eggs benne. The habanero pork belly didn't wow me. Couldn't taste the hananero, but I was expecting some heat at least. Presentation was great and looked tasty. I took another star for taste, specifically the habanero pork belly. Eggs were poached perfectly. Overall, dish was plentiful to make you full and enough to satisfy a hungry stomach. Service was just okay. I didn't expect much, but I did expect my waiter to come back and ask us how our food was. She came back to ask if we needed a box, by then it was pointless to tell her about the cup since we were getting ready to go. Would I recommend this place? Sure, dirty dishes can happen anywhere. Would I come back? Yes, but it wouldn't be my top 5 places to go for brunch. Menu options didn't seem to be too much, but it's a decent place if you're in the area.

Yelp
Went for brunch today, cannot tell you how delicious this menu item was! It is now my favorite. Great service, can't wait till my next visit!
google avatar

Roel Kristy V.

Yelp
Delicious food. Loved the wholeness and freshness of everything. Sat at the bar since the wait was 20+ minutes for a table. Service was very nice but a little slow. We were not in a hurry, so it was no big deal. By service, I mean the server and the kitchen. Just don't plan to dash out quickly. While it didn't detract much from our dining experience, there was clearly some riff between two of the servers at the bar. It was a bit uncomfortable in that our server would avoid the space where the other server was and it happened to be right in front of us, so our refills were lacking. Hope they work this out as patrons clearly pick up on vibes like this.

Mary José R.

Yelp
Great place very family friendly, visit it very often and all of the waiters are so nice The food always hits the spot no matter what you order. But I would ALWAYS recommend joining the waitlist before because it's always super packed especially on the weekends but it's so worth it.
google avatar

Bianca L.

Yelp
Went on a Saturday midday, we were seated accdg to the Waitlist on Yelp. Our server was great and attended on everything we needed! I enjoyed my Kale and Avocado Quinoa bowl and my son loved their chicken sausage! The pancake of the week, was a type of mocha/chocolate and we all enjoyed that as well, it is good for sharing when each person already had their main dish! Tip: make sure the plan ahead and get on the Yelp Waitlist! They can get very busy!
google avatar

Tracy H.

Yelp
Breakfast burrito is huge!!! The green chili sauce is perfect. Love the variety of mimosa flavors. Plus the dog friendly patio is handy when your pup wants to come along to brunch too
google avatar

Emily A.

Yelp
Most of my friends know why I would be back here and that reason so happens to be because of my beautiful niece! The hype here is unnecessary; however, my niece loves the pancakes here at snooze and this location specifically. I have yet to get her out to Comfort C (one day!) Staff was attentive. I enjoy being out on the patio on a beautiful morning here.
google avatar

Terry P.

Yelp
I'm so impressed with this place. Our server was so on top of things. He was so friendly and helpful. He even acknowledged our birthday person several times. The food was delicious. We were a party of seven. This place is very busy so be prepared to wait.
google avatar

Elizabeth N.

Yelp
I always enjoy eating here! They currently have happy hour on espresso martinis, mimosas, and bloody Mary's! One of the best places to get an espresso martini. Staff is always great and accommodating! Relaxed atmosphere.
google avatar

Jobies N.

Yelp
The place is always busy, but we were seated pretty quickly. Our server, Logan was great. We ordered the shrimp and andouille sausage with grits and the pork belly Benedict. The shrimp, sausage and grits were very good, but sadly the pork belly was not as good as I was expecting it to be. It was a little too sweet with the bacon jam and the cranberry sauce, you couldn't taste the habanero. And sadly the hash browns were undercooked. Would not order that dish again, but I would definitely go for the shrimp and grits.
google avatar

Mary A.

Yelp
This place is amazing!!! I am wowed by the variety of food choices and original items to order. We enjoyed the Benny Duo benidicts sooo delicious and the Buddha bowl which was yummy snd healthy !!!! Hust realized that there are seceral of these and wull be going the ones in California too :)

Dani H.

Yelp
Literally my absolute favorite breakfast place to go! Fast friendly service, delish food and mocktails or cocktails! A+
google avatar

Courtney W.

Yelp
Enjoyed a ladies brunch and highly recommend! We enjoyed fancy juice drinks and sharing a pancake flight. The flavors were unique & delicious! I had the spud deluxe which is topped with two eggs cooked to your liking and two added enhancements. Great vibes, high energy and friendly staff who shared recommendations!

Wesley B.

Yelp
Snooze will always be a 5-Star Restaurant! Decided to eat here on Christmas Eve and per usual it did not disappoint!
google avatar

Chelli S.

Yelp
We went on a weekday so there was only about a 15-minute wait. I did not really enjoy the honey latte, I think it reminded me too much of tea I would drink if I were sick. The pancake flight was amazing, the pumpkin pancakes were definitely my favorite. My husband enjoyed his breakfast tacos (they forgot to add bacon as requested but he still said they were really good). I don't know who was in charge of the music that was playing but it was 90s pop/r&b and it was a whole vibe. We'll definitely be back!
google avatar

André D.

Yelp
Great breakfast place with long wait time. Awesome service and cool spot but busier than most especially on weekends
google avatar

Chris A.

Yelp
I'm only writing this review because I can't hit enter until I write something in here. That's sad, if it was excellent and so was the service.O
google avatar

Carrie E.

Yelp
The worst thing about Snooze is that you'll have trouble making a decision on what to order. There's something for everyone, and everything I've tried has been delicious. Wait staff are experts on helping with pairing which will make decision making a bit easier. Make reservations online before you head out!
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped by on my way home from an early morning errand, got there pretty much right when they opened. For the first hour there was only one other group, if you want to beat the crowd I recommend going as early as you can because that was not an issue at all. Server told me they start getting pretty busy around 9-10 on weekdays. The service was great, I don't think my coffee ever dipped below halfway before it got topped off. The food was really good, I got the sandwich with a sunny side up egg and wow that runny yolk with the pretzel bun was fantastic. Great way to start the morning, if a bit pricey, but it's a good place to treat yourself!
