Snow Bear Chalets

The pics and description of the chalet did not disappoint! Exactly as depicted. Great bedding, lots of blankets and outstanding views. The only drawback was that Chair 3 was not yet operating as it was the 1st weekend the resort was open so if getting in a lot of in and out skiing is important, I suggest later in the season to ensure the lift is operating. Enjoyed the deer running across the slopes too!

My husband and I stayed at Snow Bear Chalets for our anniversary, and it was nothing short of magical. The Ponderosa Chalet was breathtaking; the views, unique craftsmanship, and peaceful atmosphere made it a one of a kind experience. It exceeded every expectation of what a treehouse getaway could be. The owners, Gail and Darryl, have created something truly special. You can tell they’ve poured their hearts into making this place extraordinary, and it shows in every aspect of the experience. The chalets are perfectly situated, surrounded by great restaurants and plenty of fun activities. We loved the alpine slides and riding “Chair 1” to the summit to take in the stunning views. Glacier National Park was a perfect way to end the trip, and was absolutely worth the drive! We had an unforgettable time and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed!

Such a unique and delightful property! Perfect treehouse for our family of four. Very comfortable, cool little outlook at the top of the loft. Comfortable beds, very well appointed kitchen and baths, and spotless upon arrival. Really couldn’t have asked for a cooler spot to stay in whitefish. Quick 15 min drive to town and quiet mornings and nights away from the bustle. Quick, walkable access to great hiking and the gondola. We loved it.

The Ponderosa is so unique and fun. My entire family enjoyed the sitting by the fire, soaking in the hot tub, and relaxing at this amazing place.

This chalet is truly magical! It provided ample space for our family of 6. We loved the beautiful scenery that was visible from every room with the floor to ceiling windows. The children loved seeing the deer roaming around right outside the chalet! It was an amazing experience!

We had the pleasure of experiencing time at the Snow Bear Chalet. Hot tubbing on the deck, direct access to the slopes, great views, and tasteful decor make this place special. The turret room and architecture are super cool. The space is beautiful and the beds and furniture are comfy.

We had to go back to the Snow Bear Ponderosa luxury treehouse chalet as our littles asked about it and shared their memories every time we went skiing this winter. So we surprised them for spring break and they were ecstatic! We love the slope side location and beautiful views, we felt like we were in a snow globe when it was dumping big fat snow flakes outside! The kids think the turret is the best thing eva', their own magical spot and away from the adults! From the well appointed kitchen, always having toasty toes on the thermal heated floors and heated beds, hot tub on the deck tucked away for privacy but still affording alpine views, fancy robes, and personal ski gear baskets, everything is well thought out for our comfort and fun. We may have to make this magic a multigenerational tradition, as the memories are priceless!

My husband and I had a wonderfully relaxing and romantic weekend in the Ponderosa. The accommodations were luxuriously appointed, from the bedding to the appliances in the kitchen. The entire vibe of the chalet put both of use in a deep state of relaxation. We had nothing to worry about as anything we could have needed was there. The location is close enough to downtown to be convenient but far enough away to be quiet. We will definitely be going back!
