Small, family-run shop serving ice cream rolls, ramen, and snow ice, plus bubble tea.
"There's a lot going on at Snow Kool, a little shop in a Doral strip mall. They make excellent shaved ice, rolled ice cream, and have a menu of Chinese noodle dishes, pork roujiamo, and more savory items worth your attention. But you can just come here for boba. It's not the biggest selection in town, but they have enough options to make even picky tea people happy. You can also top their taro shaved ice with a few different kinds of popping boba, if you’re feeling indecisive and can’t decide between boba tea or shaved ice." - ryan pfeffer, virginia otazo
"Snow Kool is a little shop in a Doral strip mall that’s making some great shaved ice and boba. You can top their not-too-sweet taro shaved ice with a few different kinds of popping boba, which is nice if you’re feeling indecisive and can’t decide between tea or shaved ice. But don’t just come here for sweets. They have a menu of Chinese noodle dishes, pork roujiamo, and more savory items worth your attention." - ryan pfeffer, mariana trabanino, carlos c olaechea
"Snow Kool looks like it’s just a boba and ice cream shop. And while both those things are good here, this Doral strip mall spot is also a very good Chinese restaurant. Look next to the boba options on the menu and you’ll see some regional Chinese dishes that are not easy to find in this city. They have rou jia mo filled with tender pork. Their beef noodle soup has some of the best noodles we’ve tasted in Miami. And there’s lots more: dan dan noodles, hulatang, jianbing guozi, and fen zheng rou. It’s a small operation, so food can take a while to come out when they’re busy. But the little restaurant is perfect for takeout or a quiet weekday dinner." - Ryan Pfeffer
