Snowbing Korean Shaved Ice

We ordered the strawberry cheesecake one. The bowls are HUGE!! Easily sharable with 3 - 5 people. They use milk for the shaved ice and top it off with whatever toppings you chose. It's super delicious and worth it. My niece loved it. Only thing is, they have limited seating once it starts to get busy. P.S. They are in the same suite as Cruncheese.

Amazing ice cream ! What I liked about this place is that the shaved ice cream is so freaking refreshing and delicious! is just the right sweetness that makes you want more! We order the one with strawberries and they were pretty good! One bowl is big enough to share! I can’t wait to try all the flavors !

My favorite flavor is strawberry 🍓 . I've never tried something like this before . It's a great spot The injeolme and the green tea were delicious. My gf really enjoyed it. Sooo good!

The portions are extremely large! Bring a friend or two or three. Thankfully the shaved ice is pretty fluffy like snow. I got the Strawberry Cheesecake shaved ice and the fresh strawberries and bits of Cheesecake were delicious. I tipped 15%, mostly because that was the lowest option in the prompt but struggle with this new culture of expecting a 20% tip for no service and purely purchasing the product on the menu. The portion size and price point after tip, or expectation that i tip for no service would probably have me skipping this place unless I was with a group of 3 or more.

been here a few times and i lovelovelove the bingsu. one key thing when ordering the ones with fruit toppings is to get them when they’re in season. i’ve had the strawberry, mango, and the limited melon flavors and all were delicious. i noticed the first two the flavors don’t penetrate deep into the ice which kind of stinks but the texture and toppings make it fun to eat. the whole serving of the melon bingsu tasted like honeydew which had me pleasantly surprised. yummy yummy

We tried the Oreo version of the shaved ice cream. It was interesting to watch them make it in front of us. I felt the price was a little high but the portion offered was also a bit more. I guess this is meant for sharing and not individual portion. This place shares the same unit as Cruncheese Korean Hot Dog place within the Asia Mall in Eden Prairie.

First time trying the shaving ice and boy! Love it!! We had the greentea and redhead ice and also the strawberry shortcake. It's got the right amount if sweet! I don't feel like having diabetes after consuming this. Will definitely return. Can get busy. No place to sit om the weekends.

The day we went they didn't sell shaved ice but the other dishes were delicious.

Meet my new obsession, the Strawberry Snowbing!!! Wow, I tried to explain it to my daughter but I'm afraid I don't have the words to describe it properly. It's "like" Hawaiian shaved ice, but so much better... like the difference between powdery snow (Snowbing) vs heavy sleet (regular shaved ice). Service and ambiance was just okay since it's just served cafeteria style. Make sure you have time to eat it in the restaurant, because it would melt before you could take it home.

My friends and I went here two times in one week. The bingsu is pretty good! It's sweet but not too sweet. I wish they gave us more condensed milk at a time but we ended up just getting more for free! The downside is that the tables get pretty sticky. When we arrived, we had to grab some paper towels from the bathroom to wipe it down. But the bingsu itself was good.

The bingsu here was excellent with the right amount of toppings and fruit! Definitely large enough to share with at least two or more people so come with a group. While you're here you can also check out the rest of what the mall has to offer like the grocery store, k beauty shop, and ebisu for Japanese goods. Good place to stay out of the summer heat and cool down.

Delicious! I had the mango shaved ice this time around and it was definitely delicious! The person working was friendly and helpful and even helped me pick a flavor because I was so indecisive with so many flavors that sound soooo good! The only reason why I'm rating this 4/5 is because I feel like there should be different sizes. This was huge! It's definitely a shareable size, but my husband is cutting down on sugar, so it was me on my own for this ginormous dessert, so much of it was wasted .

I never had bingsu before, so I didn't really know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised when I first tried it. Warning: you may need to share their shaved ice with 1-3 other people, it comes in a large size. If you've never had bingsu before do not expect ice cream. The flavor of bingsu is less creamy and more milky, the flavor of the ice is very subtle and not too sweet. Most of the flavor comes from the toppings (at least in the flavor I chose). This restaurant is in the Asia Mall and shares a space with Cruncheese. Seating is typically limited, especially on busy days/weekends, so be sure to snatch a table before ordering.

SO YUMMY! I love this place!!!! I can't go to the Asia Mall without coming here for a little treat. Their portions are definitely big enough to feed 2 people but honestly I can eat a whole one by myself since they're ice mostly. I have had the strawberry and the strawberry cheesecake bing. Both are a 10/10 for me! Service is quick and staff is friendly! Decent amount of seating. Come try it

YOU CAN SHARE THESE WITH 2-4 PEOPLE hahaha. Learn from my mistake haha. I discovered shaved ice recently and it's my new favorite dessert! Not to be mistaken with snow cones - they shave the ice super thin and top it with fresh made sauces and condensed milk. It ends up becoming a super smooth and refreshing ice cream! Love love love! I had the strawberry one topped with fresh strawberries and whipped cream too. $13, but again, split it with a few people and it's a great deal! The staff is quick. There isn't a ton of seating, but these are very photo worthy and equally as tasty!

When we came in we were greeted by Princess, she was polite, friendly, and helpful and you can tell she cared about giving the customer a great experience. My fiance ordered the potato mozzo Korean Corndog, and I got the strawberry snowball. I won't lie it took a minute for her to make it but when I saw how beautiful it looked and I was floored. The strawberry snowbing looked like something that you would expect from an upscale restaurant. It was absolutely delicious, and it made me want another but I was so full I almost had to get rolled to the car. I'm so glad I was able to find this little honey pot and to enjoy some of the things they have to offer. I'll definitely be back, too bad they aren't closer because this is 35 minutes away from where I live, but worth the visit. Thank you Princess for making me a fan.

Talk about a delicious dessert. The mango great, the strawberry was awesome, but mix them both and......your mind will be blown. We also tried the Biscoff croffle which was also incredible! I will definitely visit this establishment again. Snowbing is located on the second floor of the Asia Mall.

My favorite dessert anywhere can only be found at Snowbing. Strawberry bingsoo is to die for. Have not found this anywhere outside of South Korea. But I have to have some at the Asia Mall when I'm in town.

This shaved ice is sooooo good the shaved ice is milky and sweet, and the topping just make it better! It's so refreshing and a fun and aesthetic dessert to try! Definitely recommend.

You don't see a lot of bingsoo (Korean shaved ice) spots in the U.S, but so glad we have one here in MN!! The shaved ice was so soft and fluffy that gently melts in your mouth. It's such a refreshing treat for the hot summer days! They had a good number of different flavors to choose from with a generous portion size! I rate this spot 4 stars because it could've been slightly better! For one, they didn't provide the sweetened condensed milk that usually is poured on top of bingsoo and also because most bingsoos are layered and this was not. Also, Injeolmi bingsoo usually comes with red bean and this did not have it. This is the perfect dessert spot inside Asia Mall and can't wait to try more of their bingsoo!!!

This is a wonderful product! I thoroughly enjoyed the flavors and textures. The eatery concept is challenging. No to go or takeout is a problem. The dining room is small and staff had not cleaned tables. Dishwater was not clean. The staff was very nice and efficient otherwise.

They also offer Fish Bread with various flavors. You need to try the Cheddar fish bread topped with ice cream. It is bomb!

Stopped in for some Korean corn dogs and found that they shared a space in Asia Mall. We have had similar shaved ice desserts in California years ago, so was super excited to find something similar here in MN! Let me tell you- you NEED this shaved ice in your life. It's so creamy, and so light. The strawberries were fresh , had the perfect amount of sweetness from the condensed milk & whipped cream, and everything just complemented each other perfectly. We were torn between the strawberry and the mango. Next time we will try the mango! This location was pretty packed when we arrived, but the service was very quick and we were able to find a comfy little table to enjoy our treats.

Small, dine-in only dessert bar serving Bing; a not too sweet shaved milk ice topped with various stuffs. Not a lot of seating so get in early or wait around. Also attached to the Koran hotdog joint that looks fun. We got the injeolmi with soybean powder, almonds, and a few mochi-esque rice cakes. It was tasty but the soybean powder doesn't really have a flavor. It's a huge dish (2 people recommended) but probably not worth the $13 since it's pretty one-note. Also don't inhale while eating it. Ask how I know... Not upset that I tried it, and I'd recommend the experience once, but not worth the cost in my opinion.

Wow! This was an unexpected surprise in Asia Mall. First off, the size of an individual dish is huge - definitely enough for 2-3 people. Second, as someone new to Korean Shaved Ice, this is more like a giant ice cream dish of sorts but extremely fresh and just a bit lighter. Lastly, it was amazing and I'd highly recommend.

We got the Oreo and mango bingsu. The ice part of the Oreo was kinda bland. I would have wanted more condensed milk in it. But the mango one was simply divine. The portion size is huge. We shared these two between four people and we didn't finish.

So excited that Minneapolis finally has an authentic Korean shaved ice spot!! I finally checked out Snowbing recently and was quite impressed. The shaved snow was the perfect texture with just the right amount of condensed milk and sweetness - so refreshing! The strawberry one was spot on but the mangos could have been riper/fresher in the mango one. It's a little pricey at $13 but you could easily split between 2-3 people given how big the portions are. I only wish they would let you order half/half of different flavors or take leftovers to go (they ask that you eat it in the cafe because it will melt quickly but I'm willing to try lol). Will definitely be back!

A great place to stop by for a sweet treat or dessert while at Asia Mall! We opted for the Oreo and it was delicious! It was $13 but such a large portion that 3 of us were easily able to split it. I will for sure be back to try the other flavors!

Omg, the Twin Cities finally has Korean bingsoo! My sis from out of town wanted to check out Asia Mall so I recently took her here & discovered this place. There's other restaurants that do shaved ice but they're Chinese- or Vietnamese-owned & they don't have Korean flavors like injeolmi & patbingsoo (red bean). I love injeolmi so had to get that bingsoo. For those who aren't familiar w/ this flavor & complained that it didn't have much taste, it is SUPPOSED to be a subtle soy bean flavor. I prefer it because it isn't too sweet. I appreciate that this flavor included rice cakes on top, but I wish they were a little fresher rice cakes so would of been softer & chewier. I also wished all the bingsoo came w/ a small pitcher of condensed milk to add midway through the bowl like other places I've been to on the west coast but it was still decent. Ordering was easy (lucked out w/ no line on a Sat at 4pm but it quickly got busy & a long line formed while I was there). Note that the Korean hotdog place is separate so you need to pay twice if ur getting both items. Ambiance is ok but small. I'm glad they had a few tables so that we could eat right away before our dessert melted. The portion is meant to be shared - perfect for 2 people! They seemed short-staffed tho so there wasn't anyone cleaning the tables & had to do that a bit ourselves. Is this place as good as bingsoo in ktown LA, NYC or Chicago? Nah, but still giving this 4-stars because I'm just so glad we even have this in the Twin Cities. I'll be back for sure whenever my bingsoo craving hits!

We ordered the mango bingsu and were shocked by how massive it was and how much fresh mango you get! We received our bingsu quite quickly and it took quite a commitment for the two of us to finish. The location is shared with cruncheese Korean hot dogs which has a lively atmosphere when we visited!

Got the mango and it was so good! Jam packed with perfect mango. The texture of the ice is really special and so delicious. It's a very large portion and even with many friends helping, it was hard to finish it all. Kind of wish they had a smaller size that I could eat on my own. My friend got the strawberry and it was good too but not a lot of fruit on that one. Get the mango!
