I was quite impressed with this place's beautiful decor and vibe and have visited it three times. The service, food, and beverages are great.
One major complaint about my experience during my 3rd visit:
We made a reservation in advance for a party of 12 and requested a booth/dinner table upstairs, which was confirmed. Once we arrived, however, a dinner table was not assigned to us, and we were told those tables were reserved for other parties. Instead, we were asked to sit in the middle lounge chairs with small round side tables. While we were dining, one of the dinner tables remained empty for a good two hours.
Our waitress (young, dark curly hair) was delightful and very attentive (she had served us before). She offered to split the bills for us in groups of 3/4. The totals were not itemized, so we were unsure if the gratuity had been billed. I personally asked the waitress if gratuity was already included in the bill, and she responded, "No, it has not been charged", which I thought was odd.
I added a tip to my bill and paid. A few of the other ladies in my group began to question this too. I called our service back again (I had to hunt her down) and asked her to bring me a copy of my itemized receipt three times. It took her a long time to bring it back (over 20 minutes), and when I finally received my receipt, a credit had been refunded for the second gratuity I had indeed paid.
The others in my group were also concerned and suspicious about paying such a large bill with a double gratuity; however, our waitress dodged our party and did not return to our table.
Not good.
