Google
Amongst my favorite coffee shops on Cape. Their espresso drinks are top notch and they've got phenomenal pastries as well. They manage to really make a cozy communal vibe at each shop and it's cool that they show their source chain for each roast and provide a taste profile as well. Imo the Snowy Owl is the pinnacle of what coffee shops can be.

Susan M.

Google
Very busy coffee house with great coffee. There is indoor seating as well as a cool outside area that is shaded with andorondak chairs to relax.Very cool concept.

Google
Try the Hibiscus Cold Brew...VERY different but great choice. The chai latte might be the best I ever tasted. Takes a little bit to prepare but worth the wait. They sell glass pour-over brewers, canned options from Peru, and apparel, trinkets, etc. Theres a mini-golf course next door...plenty of parking.

Google
Service was delightful. They open earlier than many other breakfast places in Sandwich which was perfect for me. Their empanadas are very authentic and coffee is some of the best I’ve had on the Cape.

Janet S.

Google
Very cute cafe. I enjoyed a cup of coffee and relaxed on the couch. Definitely a great spot to read a book or go to get some work done on the lab top. The staff were super friendly and the atmosphere is so warm and welcoming. There is also seating outside. I will definitely be back.

Google
Very cute coffee shop inside and out! Great craft coffee they are calling it because they are using their own beans! Very limited menu , but what they have is made on site. Cute area of sandwich photos included of a 6 minute drive away to the ocean and then 15 minutes to Sandy Neck Beach which is very nice! Coffee and a drive to the beach equals to a great day!

Google
Terrible and ridiculously expensive. I stopped in to grab something quick for breakfast and that was a big mistake. I bought a bacon egg and cheese empanada and that was dry and just terrible. It had peppers in. It couldn’t find any cheese. I also bought a chocolate chip muffin, but this must’ve been just a concept because they were very few chocolate chips in it. That was also dry and lousy. I’ll never ever go back again that’s for sure.

Google
I am a coffee enthusiast, and was caught off guard by the level of espresso there. If you want a true espresso experience this is a great place to have one. The sparkling water, the small info card and the teaspoon to mix the crema into the espresso... Best espresso I have had in weeks.

Yelp
I got the seasonal gin-tropical, which was refreshing and thought it was a little too sweet but actually mellowed out once I mixed it well. The matcha citrus was quite tart if you want something that wakes you up. I appreciate the many non-caffeinated options and I'd love to get the dandy drink the next time I'm in the Cape.

Yelp
Delicious place to stop for coffee with cool merch and baked goods. Line does go out the door (love a good line!) at least this was the case for a Saturday morning. Stopped by for some coffee and baked goods before heading out to the beach and absolutely loved it. It was a bit chaotic walking into salsa and then switching it to Backstreet Boys before I had my first sip of coffee, but I think after that, it all kind of became a blur haha. I ordered a lavender latte with macadamia nut milk (all plant based milks are +$1) with a chocolate croissant. I'm a croissant lover and this one wasn't something I'd go home or on Yelp to rave about but it was still nice to enjoy it with my hot latte on this chillier summer morning. We also ordered the bean empanada (which is more egg forward than we expected) and a chocolate chip banana bread which was nice and thick and a bit in the sweeter side. It paused well with my hubby's unsweetened dirty matcha. Overall, great place to grab coffee. I was in love with my lavender latte. It had the perfect amount of espresso where it didn't wash down with the lavender. So I'd totally recommend stopping for coffee here. They also have a to go fridge where you can take salads/wraps and stuff with you. Perfect beach snack without having to do any work!

Yelp
One thing about this place is their coffee is strong!! If you like it sweet you might have to add extra sweeteners or pumps of syrup. I don't might the roast I enjoyed my latte. Overall very kind service, good quality, and chill ambiance
google avatar

Yelp
My order: cortado and banana bread (GF) The review: With several gluten free pastry options, snowy owl captivated my heart. The cortado was delicious and prepared perfectly. The staff were really nice. The ambiance is an open-air barn with various lounge areas to sit and relax, shaded or not. Had a lovely time at Snowy Owl and I can't wait to come back!

Yelp
This cafe is super cute! The building looks like a garage and there's both outdoor and indoor seating. It was quite busy on a Sunday morning, but the line moved quickly. Their iced chai latte was good, but I had to ask for vanilla syrup because the original is unsweetened. My friend enjoyed her mocha latte a lot. My other friend liked her vanilla oat latte but felt like the oat milk had a strange chalky texture. The chocolate chip almond muffin was yummy, but a bit dry. The breakfast empanada was good, but I didn't feel like it was particularly amazing. I think the prices are a little high, but for this type of popular, hip cafe, it's pretty common and expected.

Janet S.

Yelp
The service was great and the ambiance warm and inviting. Unfortunately, the food was less than stellar. My breakfast empanada was tepid at best and was nothing special...in fact pretty flavorless. I told the barista I don't like harsh or bitter coffee, just sweet, iced with lots of milk. She suggested a latte with macadamia milk as I'm lactose intolerant. It tasted terrible to me, not at all sweet (I added 2 sugars and I could have used 2 more), and harshly bitter. My husband's hot chocolate, however, was fantastic. I was sorry I hadn't ordered it myself. All in all, I probably won't be coming back, as I've had much better food and coffee elsewhere. I will admit to not being a true coffee aficionado, so others might have a more nuanced opinion.

Yelp
Sweet place. Variety of coffees and lattes. A nice stop after Sanwich Art Museum . Maybe coffee could have been a bit hotter?
google avatar

John Z.

Yelp
The tea was hot and amazingly good. Herbal tea at its very best. Service was excellent. Knowledgeable and very helpful. If you want elevated taste in coffee, tea iced or hot. Check out the vibe of Snowy Owl.

Hootsky S.

Yelp
Love this place. Beautiful decor, delicious coffee and matcha lattes, mellow vibe. I wish I lived closer to this little indie gem. Baristas are gracious and friendly, seem happy to be there.
google avatar

Yelp
Best mocha evah! I always love to come here for a special treat whenever I go to Sandwich. Cool vibe, great choices, nice staff.

Kevin F.

Yelp
My favorite coffee shop with the best Baristas on Cape Cod! Their coffee is more expensive than DD, but very much worth it!
google avatar

Gianna S.

Yelp
If you're coming to the Cape, this coffee shop is a definite stop in the area. It is walkable from downtown Sandwich and there is also a large parking lot. The interior and exterior have multiple seating areas. The interior is very clean and the staff had a quick and efficient system so even with a busy line on a Sunday morning, we got our coffees and food very fast. The prices are very reasonable. A large cold brew is $4.50 with an extra 25 cents for almond milk. A large slice of delicious, moist zucchini bread was $4. (After tax came to $9.37 which for a filling breakfast is a great price.)
google avatar

Yelp
Cute and comfortable vibes. Decent coffee. I wasn't impressed with their scones, service was slow, and thought they were overpriced. They seem to be doing enough business, so they must be doing something well (maybe we picked the wrong items) or there just isn't competition nearby.

Donald M.

Yelp
Cool little place to visit while on cape cod. Enjoyed a delicious pour over and got some beans to go

Kelly A.

Yelp
I'm in the minority here with the 3 stars but basically this is a cute coffee shop with what I think is very mediocre coffee. I tried this place twice- I had the dirty matcha and the cold brew. Neither were great. Great atmosphere though and very helpful counter staff.

Alli Q.

Yelp
Pretty and popular, but ultimately not for us. Tried a regular hot, and an iced mocha latte. Both were STRONG and quite frankly, off balanced. We won't be back - not because of the service or aesthetic, but because of our taste pallet.
google avatar

Andrew C.

Yelp
Local coffee roaster with excellent seasonal specialty drinks. Unique gem that is not Dunkin' or Starbucks. Recommend their pour overs if you're into that or any of the espresso drinks brewed and serve with care. Prepared to wait in a line if you're here during peak season and times.
google avatar

Bob S.

Yelp
Fun vibe, friendly staff and very good coffee. I also had one of the best grilled cheese sandwiches that i ever had here, for breakfast ! My daughter enjoyed her blood orange hibiscus tea as well. We'll be back!

Yelp
An excellent and cute coffee stop in the mid Cape (aka the bicep)! A stop at Snowy Owl paired with a pick up from Tree House Brewery's Cape location is a perfect match. The Tall Man and I did a quick afternoon pit stop for coffee beans and refreshments. His cold brew was super smooth and my "Cup of Sunshine" was a great no-caff option -- orange juice squeezed to order (!!!) with a spicy turmeric kick. I'll need to come back ASAP to try one of their espresso drinks or a chai latte, made with their own concentrate using Mem Tea loose leaf, with both sweetened and unsweetened options! My dream come true. I very much appreciated their excellent staff, who cheerfully gave great advice on beans and brews. The cafe's colorful murals and cozy indoor seating, with a couple picnic tables out front, made me want to sit and chill for a while -- but vacation calls. We just brewed their coffee (the Jaws blend) this morning. It's a good medium/light roast that goes well both black and with milk, so everyone is happy. I first heard about Snowy Owl from the collaborations they've done with Flour Bakery. So glad to discover they had opened this third location within the last year. I'll be back... tomorrow!

Yelp
We dropped in to check out the roaster and enjoy some locally roasted coffee. The space is very cool, well appointed, with lots of seating and a view of the roastery. We didn't get anything to eat but did get an iced coffee, which was delicious. Service was quick, knowledgeable, and professional.

Yelp
Best coffee and roasters on cape. Lots of seating inside which was recently expanded. Always have interesting seasonal drinks. FYI internet kicks you off after about 2 hrs Very clean bathrooms with changing tables Cons: 99% of the time when you ask for a drink in a mug they'll still give you a to go cup. I imagine folks dont want to wash dishes but overall it's a wasteful practice and frustrating as a patron. Wish they offered more food items especially vegan friendly options. They need to add some type of window tint or other cover to their garage for the tables near the window. If you sit there you will literally need to wear sunscreen to sit there.

Yelp
A cool roadside stop. Cortado was good but could've had more flavor. Empanadas are a breakfast plus. Large comfy space in a freestanding building. Merch is highly priced. Great spot.

Yelp
Fantastic addition to the Sandwich coffee and small business scene! In the few days I was home visiting, I stopped by twice, ordering different items each time and everything was fabulous. Tons of convenient parking, very friendly and efficient service and fresh caffeinated drinks. I've found my new favorite spot in Sandwich for my yearly visits!

Roasted Unroasted C.

Yelp
Roasted: in the Cape Cod area and found this place. In the Sandwich area on Main st. Big parking lot and great outdoor seating with picnic tables and Adirondack chairs. Cute inside with a little seating - a few couches and high top tables. The roaster is in view which I always like. Employees were friendly - they greeted us, smiled and said thank you. No sugar free options and no for here mugs. With all this great seating, a mug would have been nice. Latte art was slightly present - you could tell they knew how to pour and it was almost there. Temperature and milk on my latte was good, I couldn't taste the hazelnut - it tasted just like straight oat milk. Unfortunately the espresso was not good - the latte was too milky and when you got to the espresso - it was all green and bright. I like a robust espresso and this just didn't do it for me. Unroasted: the location of this roaster is perfect. The building looks like an old auto shop with a garage door. Picnic tables in front and chairs in the back hill. Inside it was very cool in the morning but I am sure it's welcomed as the day warms up. The staff was nice but didn't have any sugar free flavors and never asked if it was for here. I don't believe they even have mugs for coffee. My latte was super green beans. I barely tasted my vanilla shot. I'm not the biggest fan of green coffee. The space is really nice and maybe come get some delicious pastry.

Yelp
Great modern coffee shop next to the mini golf course! We do summer vacation in this area and I've been driving to Nirvana for caffeine. Snowy Owl has great housemade flavors and good selection of your standard drinks, plus pastries! You can tell they take the craft seriously and provide ample space for waiting and sitting.

Lizeth G.

Yelp
We stopped for coffee on a recent trip to the cape. I was kinda coffeed out but my fiancé ordered a hot coffee for himself while I went with a sweetened matcha. It was refreshing and tasty, exactly what I needed! The atmosphere here is amazing, cozy but industrial and a great way to highlight the coffee and design of this unique roaster. We would have loved to pick up a bag, but it was a little pricey for our beginner level brewing! Will definitely come back when I need a caffeine fix!
google avatar

Yelp
Nice little place. Empanadas, scones, and various baked goods. All looked good but go with the empanada. Made in house. We got there early and they were still warm. It's in an old garage that has been converted. You can see the kitchen and roasting equipment which is pretty cool. The staff were great. The woman who works the counter us very friendly and chatty. All in all a fantastic place.
google avatar

Mike O.

Yelp
Easily one of the best coffee shops I have been to in Mass. The inside is extremely inviting and relaxed. The music choice is perfect whether you're just starting your day or violently hungover and in desperate need of some coffee. I've experienced both sides. But the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about their variety of coffees. I've not had a bad cup a single time I have been there. If the line isn't too bad, definitely treat yourself to a pour over with one of their single origins.

Yelp
SNOWY OWL - YOUR COLOMBIAN CONNECTION JUAN VALDEZ NEVER TOLD YOU ABOUT "RUSSILANDIA"! Snowy Owl scored an awesome buy of this "microlot". Earlier this year The owners of Snowy Owl Invested in state-of-the art roasting equipment in their new, expanded coffee roastery. More impressive are the CONNECTIONS they are making with some of coffeedom's most coveted partners around the world. Russilandia's own house brand is "sold out"of the same lot SO is selling us NOW on the Cape. SO roaster gave this a light roast to bring out the best fruity character of these Castillo beans. This optimizes our enjoyment of this very special Tolima grown coffee that has totally changed my thinking about Colombian coffee. This SO Limited Edition has a sweet fruity nose when you open the bag. When ground I perceived toasted hazelnuts, cocoa, citrus zest. The brewed coffee aroma is nuanced with sweetness and earthy roasted nuts+chocolate. Bright and expansive in the mouth and a long and balance finish. Brew 12 Oz with pour over. Let half cool to room temperature. You will discover the fruit: pineapple and strawberries, mulberries. And a sweetness that will linger long in the mouth. THANKS Snowy Owl for another exotic and hard to get coffee experience!

Yelp
excellent service and quick food / drink service related to line in store. This coffee would be great for people who like it strong & bitter, although for the sweet & creamy lovers, i would not recommend. esthetic of the building was wonderful and makes you want to buy everything.
google avatar

Jennifer D.

Yelp
Love their coffee. I had the drip Peruvian coffee and it was delicious. Met a friend there and the shop has comfortable seating to be able to enjoy coffee and conversation.
google avatar

Emily D.

Yelp
I wanted to love the Sandwich location as I'm a fan of Brewster and I spend a lot of time in Sandwich, but I can't get past the snotty service from one particular staff member. Older woman working early Monday AM has fallen all over herself fawning over regular customers but then acted like she was doing me a favor to wait on me, an unknown and sporadic customer. I've been in the service industry for many years, I get it, but true customer service is making the distinction between "regular" and "unknown" customers less obvious than this particular staff member does. She has made me feel very uncomfortable on several occasions just by nature of interrupting her time with her regulars (at a coffee shop?! Before 7am?! I'm sorry, but I thought that behavior was limited to a true bar during peak hours). I'm not sure I'd return on an early Monday morning just because of her, and it's made me think twice about referring this location to others. On the upside, zucchini bread is delicious and most drinks are too, provided you're willing to spend the money and feel like a second-class citizen to get them.

Gregory D.

Yelp
A great place to sit, visit, and sip delicious coffee. Delicious coffee options and friendly staff.

Daniel C.

Yelp
Best coffee on the Cape. Fresh roasted and well made latte. Attention to detail makes all the difference.
google avatar

Dan L.

Yelp
Cute coffee shop offering a variety of coffee blends globally. I've been here a few times and enjoy the ambiance of the shop as much as the coffee/lattes! The cape is scarce in its coffee roaster selection so snowy owl brings a new, young face to the scene. Loved the atmosphere and decor at their sandwich location, the Chatham location is cute and tucked away. Would love to see their coffee

Catherine H.

Yelp
I've never left a place so quick because of the parking situation. We waiting in the road basically just to enter the parking lot and not find a spot to park. No place to turn around. Wild experience.
google avatar

Leslie L.

Yelp
We stopped in for some coffee (duh) and got the most delicious orange, cranberry scone I've ever had. Then Rainin made me the most amazing citrus matcha drink, hand squeezed orange and lemon juice with jasmine tea and matcha...who knew matcha could be so yummy!! Stop in, grab some coffee and a scone, chill out in one of their Adirondack chairs and enjoy!!
google avatar

Aria M.

Yelp
Super cute shop and good options for coffee. I got a jasmine matcha iced. Shout-out to Mateo and Rainen (I'm sorry if I totally butchered those names but it was the barista from Texas and the one that is like "raining" without the "g") they were both so so kind and very friendly, great service! I was very happy the girl even asked me about my sweetness preference on the matcha. They were quick making my drink and black bean empanada and even gave me tips for things to visit in the area. It was a great way to wrap up my day in Sandwich!

Jessica G.

Yelp
Great coffee and very friendly service! We are only visiting for a week in Plymouth and will be back again!
google avatar

Sam V.

Yelp
Wife and I stopped by on our way off the Cape. Love knowing and SEEING the coffee being roasted on site. Busy little coffee place. People coming and going and some staying. They have a few tables that you can sit at. Nice selection of treats and bakery items to have while drinking your coffee. Highly recommend
google avatar

Catherine M.

Yelp
A really cool coffee shop with a lot of outdoor seating. Their iced tea was good and they have 3 different flavors. Their breakfast empanadas were also so good. They had a lot of pastries as well.

Ben R.

Yelp
After lunch we were looking for a cool local third wave roaster with good flavor and a low iey vibe. snowy owl roaster came up at the right time. Beans are primarily south american in origin especially from Peru. They sell a fantastic cold brew and #nitrocoldbrew and pull a good espresso. Worth a visit.
google avatar

Julie P.

Yelp
Great stop after crossing the bridge! I popped in here to grab a bag of fresh roasted coffee beans and ended up also grabbing an iced latte with almond milk and a blueberry muffin. Both were tasty, especially the big and seemingly fresh blueberries. The spot also offered other pastries, empanadas, packaged snacks and a cooler of cold beverages. Staff was friendly and patient! Pretty busy on Saturday at 8:00 but still plenty of spots to sit down.
google avatar

David G.

Yelp
Excellent coffee and super service are a guarantee with Snowy Owl. There is no doubt about that. An excellent spot for them here in the Sandwich area, a beautiful building.

Tonya S.

Yelp
Everything is amazing! Friendly, welcoming staff! Yummy treats and delicious iced coffee

Cheryl D.

Yelp
So delicious! I tried the Dandy! With pistachio milk. It is the most delicious non-coffee drink I've ever tasted! Loved the gift shop! Loved the people!
google avatar

Jean E.

Yelp
Snowy Owl is a local business that truly knows their trade -- excellent service and delicious offerings for both food and drinks! Espresso and matcha are both highly recommended, the matcha latte was easily in the top 5 I've had anywhere in the country. We picked up some of the "Jaws" blend as a souvenir, because how could you not when visiting the Cape? This is definitely going to be our go-to business whenever we are in the area!
google avatar

Sally C.

Yelp
I was really excited to try this place but the drinks were really bad. It took about ten minutes to get our drinks (no one was in front of us) and the dirty chi tasted like water. The scones were good and the servers were very nice- hopefully it was just an off day for drinks!

Michael P.

Yelp
Delicious baked goods and perfect empanadas with wonderful selection of beverages nicely served by pleasant staff in relaxed atmosphere
