"You can find a few Snowy Owl locations throughout the Cape, but their main cafe is in Brewster. They’re open every day, and it’s a great place to relax outside while drinking a cup of their small-batch Jaws blend made from beans they roast themselves. If you’re on the Outer Cape, consider checking out their Espresso Bar in Chatham, a cozy little coffee spot with an outdoor terrace." - jennifer mattson

Great local spot! The drinks were pretty good. Nothing too special but a solid and fun choice. Service was great and sitting space included inside and outside (as weather permits). Espresso drinks were good. The milk and syrups were at additional charges. The lemonade was very tart and sour.

Great small local spot. We get our coffee beans to bring back with us and it’s a treat! Staff is so friendly. Thumbs up! Keep up the great work.

My husband and I stopped in briefly and we loved the cozy atmosphere. I got a vanilla latte with a chocolate banana bread and he got the dirty chai latte. So good! They also have so many other coffee options and baked goods.

Arrived right at 7:30am to grab a quick beverage and treat before driving back north and Snowy owl did not disappoint! A hot matcha latte with macadamia milk was the perfect antidote to the chilly morning and expertly prepared. For vegan folks, the non dairy milk options were macadamia, oat, and almond milk. The bakery case was brimming with fresh treats and I had to grab a slice of the pumpkin bread that was beautifully spiced and moist. I topped the visit with a double shot of espresso that was fruity and complex in all the right ways. Excellent selection of single origin coffee to purchase from Peru, Colombia, Ethiopia, etc. Prices were very affordable given the high quality of all ingredients and preparation. Hope to visit again!

Google
The place was quite busy. We all got some coffee and breakfast, and it was all delicious. I had a cappuccino, which was very good. There were some games to play while you enjoy your breakfast and coffee. Although there weren't many breakfast options, mostly bakery items, the atmosphere was very aesthetically appealing with lots of plants and board games. I will definitely visit again if I'm ever in town.

Google
Clearly a favorite of the locals - it was busy mid-afternoon in February while it was raining! Good coffee drinks hit the spot. Lots of food choices, too, and even merch.

Google
Great coffee house offerings but be prepared to wait. I've never had anything bad from here, and the people working are working hard, but there is always a line. It's a very popular spot. I've tried their coffee, hot chocolate, and chai latte, all were good. I've tried their scones and cookies, also good. There's a reason there's a wait. Is it worth it? I think so, but it's up to you.

Google
Nice place for a late afternoon coffee. The selection was great and the staff was really friendly. My wife enjoyed her peppermint mocha and I tried a pour over. They don't have really dark coffee but the selection they had was enough to choose from. There is plenty of room to enjoy your coffee there in a warm rustic environment. They also had some fun baked goods. We took a quick look at the herb shop but it's not really our thing.

Yelp
EVERY MONTH I CAN'T WAIT TO RECEIVE MY SHIPMENT FROM SNOWY OWL ROASTERS! I am living in Los Angeles and receive 3 freshly roasted coffees sourced and roasted from CAPE COD! I sure miss visiting the Cafe and the Espresso bar, but I don't have to miss their GREAT NEW COFFEE DISCOVERIES EVERY MONTH! This month I am enjoying the NEW BURUNDI "BAVYEYI". It is bigger than some of the brighter BURUNDIs SO. has exclusively brought to us. Complicated and presential throughout the palate. "Notes are pomegranate, golden raisin with lime zest" I love the citrus finish on all the Burundis. This one reminds me of a Japanese favorite TORAJA an island coffee with exquisite overtones, finish and mouth-feel. SUBSCRIBE AND DISCOVER A NEW TREASURE (or three!) EVERY MONTH!

Yelp
Very good coffee. Almond croissant wasn't very good. You're better off getting that at French memories in duxbury or cohasset. Earl Gray pound cake was good- quite buttery- but i wouldn't get it again. The baristas know their stuff and the line moves quickly. I'd go back!

John H.

Yelp
Delicious Peruvian coffee that satisfies even the snobbiest of the coffee snobs with a vibe that makes you believe you are in an Instagram inspired cafe in Hawaii instead of Cape Cod. The lines are long but the coffee is brewed to perfection. Lots of interesting non-coffee healthy drinks make for fun exploration that non-coffee drinkers would enjoy. The pastries are decent with the empanada being the star. So flaky and doughy and stuff with egg, bacon, onions, and peppers. Yes please! There is inside seating and a few people were on laptops but it gets tight pretty quickly. A few shaded picnic tables offer outdoor seating. However, the real treat is the herb garden behind the shop that is actually private property but open to the public to enjoy a beautiful nature setting for a small donation. There is now officially competition with Three Fins for my favorite coffee spot in Cape Cod.

Yelp
Great "Dandy Blend" drink. Also a very good earl grey pound cake. My wife enjoyed her iced caramel latte as well. The service was quick and friendly. Great seating area and good ambiance to wake up to.

Yelp
Cute coffee shop off the CCRT, with clean bathrooms, a bike rack, and lots of baked goods/coffee to fuel your ride. What more could you want? I was trying to save stomach space for the seafood I'd consume later but I couldn't walk past the display case of pastries without getting the blueberry muffin. It came with a beautiful sugary crackly top and hordes of blueberries stuffed inside. I regretted offering my husband a bite, is all I'm saying. The pineapple matcha soda was just all right, not worth the $6 for the size or taste. Comfy seating inside. I initially grabbed some seats outside but with the gravelly parking lot and cars going in and out, there was just too much dust. BTW: if you're coming off the CCRT, hang a left to get to the cafe. There's a sidewalk you can bike on so you don't have to cross the busy road twice.

Yelp
Went last week for a late breakfast. My wife and I were able to try the last breakfast empanadas and a scone. Everything was delicious. I usually drink coffee or espresso black. I can honestly say the cup of coffee I had was one of the best ever! I love the decor inside and the server was very friendly. Will stop here again for sure when I am in Brewster.

Pete D.

Yelp
Cute little coffee shop in Brewster with nice stuff. I tried the cold brew with oat milk and it was good. I didn't try anything else on the menu. Clean restaurant with nice bathrooms and plenty of seats.

Lizeth G.

Yelp
As one of the more aesthetic coffee shops on cape, we come here often for a craft cup of coffee. They have lots of amazing staples. My husband typically orders the aero press which is a unique offering, while I typically order their speciality drinks like matcha or lattes. My favorite - and it is available year round - is the maple latte. It's a simple staple but it hits the spot every time.

Jordan W.

Yelp
I didn't expect to find an elevated coffee shop with Latin touches in this quiet corner of the Cape, but Snowy Owl delivered on my recent visit on a Saturday morning. Located in a somewhat ramshackle, but very Cape-y, building, Snowy Owl had plenty of spots to sit and enjoy, and felt like a local favorite. From their large and creative menu, I ordered an espresso tonic, which was almost more like a coffee cocktail than a morning brew, and a hearty and delicious black bean empanada. Her maple scone was equally as tasty. A must for a Cape morning in Brewster.

Jacklyn K.

Yelp
Rustic wooden tiny coffee shop that delivers! I really loved their fresh citrusy matcha drink, which was soooo perfect on a sunny morning. It's small inside but cozy with some couches and high tops as well as 2 large outdoor picnic tables. Limited food menu though we both did enjoy our scones! There was a line but the service was prompt and friendly. Was tempted to buy some roasted beans and loved the showcasing of other local businesses as well. Would definitely recommend Snowy Owl!

Melissa G.

Yelp
Super cute coffee shop! Stopped in while staying in Brewster and was so happy we did. The cutest outdoor setting and the nicest staff. Really good pastries and scones. It's a really great place to stop in for coffee and a something to eat while enjoying a break sitting outside.

Edward W.

Yelp
I'm a regular at Snowy Owl in Brewster and I cannot say enough good about it. They strive for excellence, the owner and staff are amazing. The coffee is so good, and it's a lovely place to be. I am so grateful they are here.

Michelle S.

Yelp
Super cute coffee shop! Great service and coffee. The baristas was very friendly and helpful! The coffee shop is tiny, one person at a time. You order at the window, then take your coffee to go. Great stop after a meal or to grab before you take a walk around the neighborhood.

M R.

Yelp
This place is GREAT. We are annual vacationers in the area and wish we had a Snowy Owl in our own backyard everyday. Awesome coffee, vibe, and atmosphere. You HAVE TO go here.

Diana N.

Yelp
Amazing place for a coffee, tea, and pastries. I had the matcha latte with oat milk, partner had cold brew, and we split a cranberry orange scone and morning glory muffin. Service is super helpful and nice. Not a ton of places to sit but you should be able to find a spot somewhere.

Connor A.

Yelp
Very cozy coffee "cabin" with great craft single origin coffee, baked goods, and breakfast foods. The interior is very nice and warm feeling. Relaxed atmosphere great to chat, study, or work. Open air atmosphere was so nice! They have outdoor seating as well in the garden. Will return! The staff was great too.

John K.

Yelp
Fast friendly service with excellent coffee. Will be back again for sure. We both had americanos which were done perfectly with a wonderful taste. We also had a cranberry orange scone - next time will likely try a different pastry. Thinking about going back this afternoon for a cold brew

Susie B.

Yelp
Great spot in town and right next to the Brewster bookstore. The couch was comfortable for a coffee.

Lauren M.

Yelp
Yes yes YES. This little place packs a big punch when it comes to coffee, freshness and service! The coffee was excellent crisp coffee beans may be some of the best roast down the cape definitely the best in Chatham. Tiny little coffee shop surrounded by walkways tucked off the street. Bring your tired eyes and enjoy. Compliment your coffee with a croissant that melts in your mouth we did and we wish we could do it every day. Can't wait to come back!

Taylor F.

Yelp
Cute place with really good pastries, coffee, and empanadas. Wish I lived closer because I would come here all the time but my wallet is thanking me for that!!

Maria B.

Yelp
I was visiting the area for a trip and friend who used to work there (Richard!) recommended it. It was so quaint and homey and rustic and delicious! 10/10. The employees were so lovely as well.

Lis F.

Yelp
Wonderful coffees and baked goods! Amazing herb shop on site as well! My go-to when we're at the cape!

Katy N.

Yelp
The coffee was excellent- we even bought a bag of beans to take home with us. My only main criticism is that I wish there was a little more in terms of food options, but if it's purely good quality coffee you seek, then this is the place to go.

MasterRiff P.

Yelp
This is the second time I stayed at Brewster, MA. This is a great place to 'grab and go' for coffee, croissants and muffins. There are also some seats. Just warning, sometimes the line can be long around peak times in the morning.

Katie R.

Yelp
Cute little coffee shop off of Main Street in Brewster. We went on a Saturday morning and there was quite a line, but it moved somewhat quickly. A long line is usually a good sign though, and this definitely seems like a coffee spot for coffee lovers and connoisseurs. While I do love coffee, I wouldn't claim to be an expert. But they have a variety of pour over options and beans from various locations. I opted for an almond milk iced latte and it was very good. My husband got the nitro cold brew, but was not a fan. Overall it was a nice change of pace from our usual home brewed Dunkin coffee in our kitchen, I did love my drink, but you can expect a line and a price tag.

Angelica P.

Yelp
It has taken me some time to try Snowy Owl due to the lengthy lines, however I am so happy that I made the wait this past weekend! Their cold brew and espresso was some of the most flavorful coffee that I have had in the area. We already had breakfast waiting for us, but I couldn't resist grabbing some of the discounted day old pastries which were also fabulous for the price. Check them out!

Ariana L.

Yelp
This place is magical. Truly magical. The music, the wooded interior, the coffee, the people. It's a hipster haven and a reader's nook. When I went, I sound hounded every song that played because all the music was so good. Take a John Mayer album and a nuvo raggae album and put them together and you have the awesome music and vibes in here. Excellent coffee, excellent pastries. Good service. I will be back.

Rick B.

Yelp
Had to wait 30 minutes for our coffee, ordered a large cappuccino and received a 6oz cup of foamy, bitter coffee. Disappointing for $5. Location for this cafe is why you wait and pay what you pay but don't expect Starbucks.

Michael W.

Yelp
A great find for coffee and espresso in Brewster, MA! Snowy Owl roasts their own coffee and they have a great variety of selection. Pastries are outsourced, so not home made. First time I went, I ordered a cortado, which was tasty. Second time I went and ordered a pour over. I recommend their Guatemalan pour over! Overall a great shop/roaster. Also behind their store is a small community garden where you can sit and enjoy your drink and the outside. This is a great place for coffee enthusiasts!

Ella F.

Yelp
By far the best coffee on the Cape! I come here as often as I can with my family and there is always something that will please everyone, whether that be a simple coffee for my grandfather or a flavored iced tea or hot chocolate for the children in the group. The cold brew is to die for - seriously, it's incredible! I also love their iced matcha and truly appreciate their selection of alternative milks. The shop is cozy and inside they sell their coffee beans, assorted mugs and reusable bottles with their logo, and local artwork. On the property there is a herb shop as well as some friendly chickens and roosters. There are tables and chairs in front of the coffee shop as well as some scattered benches out back. Behind the small building is a pretty yet rustic garden to walk through with tree's that give welcomed shade in the summer months. Away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets, Snowy Owl Coffee Roasters is the perfect place for those seeking an exceptional cup of coffee, friendly service, a cozy atmosphere, and perhaps a pastry to top it all off!

Michael F.

Yelp
Love this place. Some great coffees roasted in their Sandwich location. Great spot to kick back and read the paper or meet friends. Love the owners super people. Highly recommend. Love their seasonal decorations outside. Good chai too.

J C.

Yelp
We went today for the first time and arrived to a line out the door. Good news: The line was not (only) because Snowy Owl is conveniently located on Route 6A, it's also because the coffee is delicious and the area is perfect for a stroll and chat. I tried the Captain Crosby blend, and it was smooth and flavorful and not at all fruity (excellent- I can't stand fruit undertones). The chai lattes taste like brewed-from-chai rather than sweetened-box-concentrate, which is good in my book but may not suit all palates (like my Starbucks-loving sibling). The whole place is super-cute and has a nice park in the back for strolling and/or chatting. Not-good news: It's not super ADA-friendly. Maybe if some shelves/merch tables were moved out of the way, you could get a walker or wheelchair through, but as it is, anyone who needs it would have to bear the self-consciousness of asking the staff to move furniture or they'd have to eat outside. Accessibility issues = -1 star from me (because I have wheelchair-using family and always need to scope places out first), but if it's not something you need to keep an eye on, know that the food, coffee, and staff are all 5 star.

Yelp
Great little choice shop. Great coffee! Good snacks! Great ambiance! Nice service

Martha S.

Yelp
Incredible coffee. Kind service in a lovely rustic room. Excellent local place with kind service

Jenna M.

Yelp
Waited 45 minutes for coffee. Zero acknowledgment of customers. Maybe figure out a better system

Mark B.

Yelp
Been here many times, and after reading in recent reviews complaints about supposed unfriendly service and lack of smiles, I have to pipe in. The guy who waited on us recently couldn't have been more hospitable or accommodating or smiling--in fact, I commented to my friend, what a difference engaging and affable service makes. And besides the house roasted coffee, they offer a good assortment of tasty homemade baked stuff and a variety of teas. If you see me hanging out here, say hi...

Helik S.

Yelp
We thought the Chatham location was great, and then we came to the Brewster in complete awe. Yes, it's only coffee, and yet it so much more. The interior is very real feeling: a lot of wood, interesting seating areas inside and out, a gorgeous garden under grape vines outside. And of course very friendly and capable baristas make sure the coffee isn't lost on the whole experience. We can't claim we've seen all of the Cape's coffee shops, but of the many we did see, this one stands a mile apart. Congrats to the owners for such a gem!!!

Vivian L.

Yelp
2021/06/29 12:00 popular coffee joint in Cape Cod I got a 12oz Chai Latte with almond milk, no ice, and the unsweetened blend. I also tried some of the Nitro coffee. Here are the highlights: - The chai latte was not very noteworthy. It tasted a little watery - However, I did appreciate that they had both a sweetened and unsweetened blend for those who didn't like sweet chai teas. - The Nitro had a strong flavour and was quite bitter.

Yelp
*Covid 2020* I'VE OFFICIALLY FOUND MY HAPPY PLACE ON THE CAPE!!!! the hippie in me exploded when I pulled up to this place, chicken running around, gardens, great coffee, artist, paintings, crystals!!! I mean I could keep going but honestly just go check it out yourself, plus the coffee is fantastic. I got a iced oat milk latte with Lavender Honey and they sell bamboo straws! Tables in the back and in the front! So its a perfect place to find some peace while social distancing!

Michele M.

Yelp
Excellent coffee, friendly and prompt service, and good selection of pastries/breakfast items. Good amount of space at the Brewster location to be able to sit inside or outside. We really enjoyed stopping in for a quick breakfast complete with good coffee and tasty treats on our way to Skaket Beach. Delightful place.

Ann D.

Yelp
Came here for beans on a recent Sunday (April 2021) and we ended up having a lovely little visit. The staff was really helpful - I told them my coffee preferences and they picked out two varieties that i ended up really enjoying - the Captain Crosby blend, and the limited edition coffee from Peru. I love how obsessed they are with freshness, it seems like anything that's more than two weeks past its roast date gets sold at a discount. After I bought my beans we sat out front on their picnic tables and had a little breakfast under a just-blooming cherry blossom with birds chirping. just glorious.

Fahim R.

Yelp
This place take coffee very seriously. I have never seen so many different options. Service is friendly and quick. It was a little crowded inside for the pandemic, but everyone had masks. I had the cappuccino which was good, but nowhere near the best I've had. They looked to have some good pastries, but no breakfast sandwiches.

Amber C.

Yelp
Cute coffee shop in Brewster with a great collection of coffee. I love that they are using bean for the Democratic Republic of Congo!! I bought a bag and my coffee is delicious. The chai I had from them was also fabulous. I sat and worked for a few hours on my laptop and would make this a regular place if I lived in the area. Wonderful!!

David C.

Yelp
They have the best coffee! Tried there Jaws blend and snowy owl. Awesome and there customer service is 10 plus! Happy to do business with such great people.

Sheena F.

Yelp
First of all, just excited to be able to find an awesome coffee shop on the Cape that's open in the winter. We're the people who vacation on the Cape in February. Secondly, it's so cute inside! Small but adorable, cozy, and welcoming. Both times we went we got cappuccinos and almond milk chai lattes. Love that they offer alt. milk and unsweetened chai options. Also got a scone one time and it was delicious. They have a small offering of scones/sweet treats/granolas/salads. Lots of merch - we bought our neighbor a bag of some of their coffee and they will grind it in-house. Can't wait to come back! Another perk is easy parking.

Kurt W.

Yelp
Gooood essssssssssppppresssso. Nice place fast service. Cool stuff in there some art etc

Neil M.

Yelp
Snowy Owl in Brewster has been our go-to coffee spot on the Cape for years. The team that works there is so friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend taking your coffee to go and touring the gardens out back.

Maddie Z.

Yelp
Visited this place a few times while in Cape Cod, and I loved it a lot! Snowy Owl has a very homey feel, with its rustic wooden decor, chalkboard menus, and assortment of (mostly coffee-related) goods on display. I tried a few drinks and think my favorite was the chai latte--they do it pretty well, with just the right amount of spice. Overall I was also a fan of the pricing for what you get! Fairly large drinks for ~$4, super reasonable. The absolute best thing about this place is the ambience though. SO cute and warm and welcoming! Plus, even though it's not a large place, Snowy Owl has ample seating indoors and outdoors. One of the few coffee shops I've been to that is actually good for sizable groups (I think you'd max out at ~8)! Overall a super cute shop with good drinks and great vibes; came here way too many times for the short few days I was in Brewster, and if/when I'm back...10/10 would come again for the warmth and coziness.

Will C.

Yelp
Love the vibe great coffee reasonable prices, super cute! Will be back next summer. Great place to start the day.

Jasmine T.

Yelp
I purchase an iced coffee here with half and half and maple syrup and it was amazing. I can tell it is quality coffee and I also love the atmosphere in the cafe. There is a cute shop in the cafe as well. Their granola bars are also very good. Highly recommend!
