Yelp
Much like the modern houses going up around the neighborhood surrounding it, So Heavenly shows there's beauty and good taste in minimalism.
I noticed it on the way back from a nearby construction site, and stopped by for lunch. (Even though I wear the white hard hat I was in construction clothes and boots, I was still welcome to eat in). Though they're officially a catering business, they have a couple of tables for some tasty lunch. Their menu board shows a variety of dishes, with a good variety in protein (chicken and beef) as well. Run by a Colombian Jewish family (yes, I chatted with the manager) they offer a creative take on some Spanish dishes, prepared Kosher. The Peruvian chicken rice seemed yummy; I'll be back for it!
During my visit I enjoyed their meatballs (sweet and a generous portion), steamed potatoes and sweet potatoes and an side of basmati rice. Though I had a soda, they also have some organic sodas. Decor is minimal, but you see the kitchen where they prepare the dishes and the owner / manager's a friendly guy. I plan to stop by!
