Great prices. Warning that the chicken breading is extremely thick and heavy. Two thighs are enough per person making 8 pieces easy to feed 4 people. Amazing vegetable sides and an excellent pig intestine dish which is one of the best I had. Plus points on the egg tart being much better than mott 32 at 3x less the price. A crowd pleasing place for people that grew up chinese. This has something for everyone in that culture.

Google
Highly recommended. Whether you want fried chicken, hot pot, or tranditional dishes, this restaurant can satisfy you. I love the lamb hot pot the most, it's so so so so so delicious!😄

Google
What an aptly named restaurant—everything was SO TASTY, especially the skin-on bone-in popcorn chicken that was half off ($4.50). It was so crispy and juice and a little bit spicy (3/5 stars). Other dishes were pretty good as well. I want to try their other fried chicken offerings next time since the popcorn chicken was so good.

We enjoyed everything we had here! The chicken and fries are all crispy and tasty 😋 We also had egg fried rice with beef, soup which was also tasty! Definitely a must try place 👍 We went back here and tried the soup 😋🍲 it's also super good😍 and the staff is super nice and friendly!

Google
Our new favorite restaurant! Chickens were excellent, and the service was attentive. We ordered fried buns, fried chicken thighs, rice, waffle fries, egg tarts, grass jelly desserts, and smoothies. All were delicious. We will return and try moee dishes. Thank you!!

Google
Gotta say, I'm a bit of a fried chicken lover so I found the "best fried chicken in WA" claim intriguing. Ordered the whole wings in regular and hot. Wow...very, very good! Great flavor, well cooked, crispy and moist. I've tried many and have to say so far the best! So Tasty 🙂

Google
The pork legs are delicious. The fried chickens are crispy. Highly recommended:)

Google
I ordered the spicy fried chicken wings. The wings were perfectly crisp and had a perfect level of spice. The service was immaculate - the food was delivered quickly and the staff made sure our order was to our liking. In terms of atmosphere, the restaurant played instrumental soundtracks at a low volume that was perfect white noise and allowed patrons to have fruitful conversations. The bathroom was also sparkling clean. I wholeheartedly recommend dining at this establishment!

Yelp
We decided to stop by after a shopping trip in Bellevue and we were impressed! The restaurant is very clear and staff were kind. My mom ans I ordered a spread of items as we're samplers and everything we had was really good! My personal favorite was their So Tasty Pot, Garlic Pork Belly, and Spicy Mala Chicken. My mom really liked the fried chicken and the meat was very flavorful. Overall, we were impressed by everything and recommend you give it a try if you're in the area! EDIT: Their egg tart are a must get. We'll be back!

Yelp
TLDR: the food here is fantastic and at a very fair price! There aren't many places on the Eastside open later at night, so I'm super happy to have discovered this place that closes at 9 on most days! You scan a QR code once you sit down in order to order your food. The menu is very extensive, serving hotpot, boba, fried chicken, and other Chinese foods. I've only tried a few dishes from here, but am excited to try many more on the menu because everything I have tried has been amazing! Mala Chicken: Note: They have a dine in promotion where you can get a generous serving of this which can feed 2-3 people for $9 and change. It's a huge amount of battered and fried bite size pieces of chicken, dusted with seasonings and served with peanuts and green onions. Salty, savory, and spicy but more of in a tingling sense rather than in an overwhelming manner. Basil Fried Rice: A simple egg fried rice that is somehow so much more elevated than what I can make at home. Now, you may be thinking, "Why should I pay for egg fried rice? I can make it at home for so much cheaper!" BUT YOU CAN'T. The texture of the rice is PERFECT and somehow every grain of rice is separated in this dish rather than glooped together. The best reference point I can describe it as is Din Tai Fung's EFR, but you get so much more here and for a much better price. Chicken Sandwiches: MOVE OVER CHICK FILA!! This is one of So Tasty's most popular dishes, and for good reason! The chicken is battered in a light, crispy, incredibly crunchy dough, but is still perfectly moist. The spicy version adds the perfect kick to it. Jasmine Milk Tea: This was a solid, standard milk tea! Good balance of the floral aroma, sugar, tea leaves, and milk. Also, more affordable than most boba places nowadays. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let this be your sign to go visit this restaurant! They deserve more business and you won't regret it after tasting the food. It really does live up to the name "So Tasty"!

Yelp
Hands down best egg tarts here on the eastside, best fried chicken here on the eastside, and the best, brothy, savory soup noodle with literally everything in it ...here on the eastside. This place is seriously a hidden gem in the crossroads area, I almost don't wanna tell people about it because it's SO TASTY (heh see what I did there) My heavenly combo is: soup pot, a fried chicken combo, a milk tea, and egg tarts for the second dessert after the tea. Never had a bad dish here. The staff are fast and keep the place clean, and I see to-go orders flying out the door, so I hope buis ess stays booming for this place because I love them. They have big booths for large groups and small tables for intimate 1-1 dates. This place is perfect and I have been here many many times in the last few months, everything has been consistently good! Food comes out hot, and it's always a comforting experience being here!

Yelp
Visited during Seattle Restaurant Week and was blown away by the food and value. We got a drink, an appetizer, a main, and dessert for $20 which is so hard to come by nowadays. Everything we had was delicious but the fried chicken burger in particular was phenomenal. The chicken was juicy and perfectly fried and the amount of spicy sauce was great. It's more of an old school style Asian burger, with buttery soft buns that taste sweet and simple toppings, but it works with the spicy chicken. Will definitely be coming back! The restaurant is bright and open with lots of tables. Service was friendly as well.

Kyle W.

Yelp
This is a Cantonese/Chinese fusion restaurant but mostly offers fried chicken. The fried chicken here is fairly huge portions, so a $14.99 combo is a really good deal that is more than enough food for 2 people (comes with 3 pieces of chicken of your choice of preselected combinations, fries, and drink). We also got 2 pieces of mid-wings, mala chicken as it was still 50% off ($8 instead of $16), and 1 durian and 1 regular Portuguese egg tarts. We had more than enough food so we ended up boxing the mala chicken to-go. You can pick original or spicy for the fried chicken. Original is a bit bland, but the crispiness of the batter and the juiciness of the chicken is spot on. The spicy is better, but the taste of the spicy is more peppery than the Chinese spicy herbs that you would expect. It is still good, but not as much of my preference. The mala chicken order was really good, just a bit less numbing spicy as I would've thought, but the ingredients are mostly there. The durian egg tart and regular Portuguese egg tart are fantastic. The durian one had a strong durian flavor but did not linger long in my taste buds, so I was able to savor the regular egg tart right after. The regular egg tart is quite buttery. Both have fairly flaky crusts. Charging $2.75 for regular and $4.75 for durian is a bit steep, but I am glad to try it out and at least they were solid. Service is expected is more hands-off after food is delivered. You just need to flag down a server to fulfill any necessary requests. Overall, this is a decent spot that mostly serves fried chicken, so prepare for a hearty meal.

Yelp
Great fried chicken! They have asian flavors, but the basic us better than most. Even better than Ezells!!

Naomi W.

Yelp
This spot is quickly becoming my favorite place. The fried chicken is seriously the best and I am never let down with the juiciness and crispiness. I won't ever go to another fried chicken spot except here. I love their waffle fries too. Sometimes I get their soup pot and it is so filling and delicious. My only wish is that the noodles not be cooked all the way- but that's just a preference of mine. But everything else, from the ingredients and flavor of the soup - it's fantastic. Service is always so quick and the staff is always friendly. If you have a big group, this is a great place to come to. Plenty of seating!

Lan V.

Yelp
You can never go wrong with fried chicken and there's is one of the best chicken spots around. Something about there batter is different then most chains, turns out crispy yet juicy at the same time. I get the fried chicken combo cause I like fries too and their plum juice goes well with the meal. There were very nice staff to help, good pricing and portion sizing too.

Yelp
Very tasty! Love the fried chicken and hot pot. Don't miss it Very tasty! Love the fried chicken and hot pot. Don't miss it

Kat B.

Yelp
The fried chicken here is so tasty! They have other dishes which were all great -- we love their vegetable dishes -- but the star of the show is the fried chicken! Service is easy going and prompt. It's a nicer mom and pop vibe with excellent food to offer! Come and support this local spot!

Debra W.

Yelp
First let me start off with their hospitality. My husband is currently mobility impaired and in a wheelchair. Once we came in, they quickly helped us and made sure that he was comfortable and could fit in the table with ease. This was beyond my expectations and we greatly appreciated this gesture. The fact that they wanted us to be as comfortable as an abled bodied customer meant the most. Now for the food, we ordered a little bit of everything. They are known for their chicken here and while I say it was good, it definitely isn't the best ever. It's a solid 3.5/5. It's crispy and fresh and juicy. But felt like it was missing something. The pork belly combo with kale. The pork belly is very thin but flavorful and that kale is amazing. It's bright and perfectly seasoned. Easily one of my favorites and just thinking about it, I want some now. The sweet potato pancakes were a pass for us and a heavy on the oily side. Now, what was a 10/5 was the pig feet or pork hock. It was cooked perfectly and the seasoning and braise was so good. We didn't expect to enjoy this as much as we did but I would hands down come back for this alone. If you love pig feet, then this is a must do. I would undoubtedly come back here for the pig feet over the fried chicken any day of the week. The garlic cabbage was also another favorite bit was still crunchy and so savory with the natural sweetness of the cabbage. It was just perfect. The buns with condensed milk are good but not anything that you couldn't find anywhere else. Overall, we had a great experience. The staff was really amazing. The food was good. And while the fried chicken wasn't the best ever as everyone claims the food is good.

Mark Y.

Yelp
The soups and hot pots here are a definite must to warm you up on a chilly day. I really like their So Tasty mala soup pot that comes with your choices of four noodle and we opt for the rice noodles. Each bowl comes loaded with meatballs, a slice of spam, corn, bean curd, fried tofu, potatos, mushrooms and napa cabbage. You can also lay about $5 for other proteins but the bowl alone is filling enough for us. Our other favorite is the kim chi soup base hot pot. Don't forget the fried chicken is a must have and the pineapple fried rice is great too!

Kim D.

Yelp
I always love visiting So Tasty! They have the best fried chicken and egg tarts on the Eastside. Their soups are always so comforting. There're so many other Chinese styled dishes to choose from the menu. The staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant has a nice open space with lots of tables.

Marielle J.

Yelp
Looks like it's been over 2 years and revisited last night when my mom was craving fried chicken! Hot Pot + Fried Chicken = equally THE BEST of both worlds in my opinion! Crispy juicy, not salty, warm fried chicken paired with hot pot that has your protein choice, Napa cabbage, corn, bean curd, meatballs, a slice of spam, fish cakes...what more could you want?! From 2 years ago, I remember their hot pot was bigger back then but honestly, I love this place so much, not a biggie at all! Small-medium area space, it's very popular so try to come when it's not peak lunch or dinner time! Please give it a try if you haven't already!

Sandra L.

Yelp
Was craving good fried chicken for several weeks now. Drove to Bellevue for Asian bbq. Decided to finally go and pick up a couple of pieces of fried chicken. Placed my order over the phone. Employee was very nice and courteous Very small parking lot. Mostly street parking Love their fried chicken!

Annie C.

Yelp
This place has been on my list for a long time so I decided to come here for lunch. This restaurant is tucked on the side of a plaza filled with various Asian businesses. There were plenty of parking around the complex, very close by to Crossroads. As my partner and I entered the restaurant, we were seated immediately. We had to scan the QR code to order our foods, which is a norm nowadays. This place is well known for their fried chicken so we immediately knew what to order. We both ordered the fried chicken combo and one of their lunch specials, the curry fried chicken rice bowl. We also wanted to try their egg tarts for desserts. Overall, the fried chicken came out very crispy and juicy with some spicy kick. The best part was the crispy skin which made it taste so much better. I really like the waffle fries that came with the combo since it wasn't soggy at all. The curry chicken rice was good with the usual potatoes and carrots and two broccoli florets for veggie consumption. The fried chicken was surprisingly crispy and not soggy. It was a very comforting meal to enjoy especially when I was craving for curry. The egg tarts were delicious as well especially when the crust is flaky with the oozing warmth of the egg custard. It is probably the best egg tart I've had around Seattle. I will for sure be back again to try their other dishes.

Katrina M.

Yelp
This might have been my biggest surprise of the year! This seemingly simple shop near Crossroads offers a somewhat confusing mixed menu of bubble teas, fried chicken and a few other Asian dishes like garlic pork belly. Sp it was actually hard to tell what this restaurant really was. Based on real estate space in the menu it seems to be primarily a bubble tea shop followed by fried chicken place. But I gotta tell you, we tried the fried chicken and it was fantastic!! Super crispy crust with a juicy inside. The pieces were huge, and to my preference they served just the best parts, legs, thoughts and wings. No dry chicken breasts here! We ordered the spicy and it really was, and I want to describe it as a more Asian spicy than your KFC type of spice. Still the spice was incorporated into the crust versus being a sauce, which I loved! If you have a craving for fried chicken, I would highly recommend giving this small restaurant a try!

Tim V.

Yelp
This food was so good! The chicken was crispy and juicy. The spice is what did it for me. I am not used to fried chicken tasting like that, but I am glad it did. I also got the takoyaki, which was great.

Helen C.

Yelp
I swear there is a scarcity of fried chicken in Seattle and I have no idea why (Ezell's is actually the worst don't go there). So Tasty ended up on my radar with their odd combo of fried chicken and Chinese hot-pot style soup, but honestly given how rainy and chilly the weather has been, it was actually pretty amazing together. I went for an early dinner on a Saturday before 5:30 PM and the restaurant was around 40% capacity the whole time I was there. Logistically, there are a couple parking spots right in front of the restaurant, but there's a larger lot on the other side of the building. Fried Chicken (4.25/5): Super crunchy crust with insanely juicy chicken that reminds me of Jollibee. Personally, I think the original is actually more flavorful than the spicy version. Mala Braised Beef Soup (4/5): It doesn't have the most depth in flavor, but solid spice and the beef is actually still super tender. I get that asking for instant noodles at a restaurant feels a little bad, but it genuinely has the best springy texture imo. Portuguese Egg Tarts (3.75/5): Flaky crust with smooth egg custard, this is always solid. I do think wherever they store these probably needs to be a bit hotter because the bottom of the tarts were a little soggy, however it still made me happy!

Wesley W.

Yelp
Who tf came up with this food combo. I can't say they go well together but they kinda nailed each one and the sum of their parts is still p solid. The chicken is definitely the stronger of the two and honestly I'm writing this review quite a while after coming here and I don't remember the soup much but I remember thinking "not bad". The chicken is jollibees esque mega juicy and the fries are super crunchy. Fun combo I like this place. 4 stars

Michelle G.

Yelp
We were in the neighborhood and decided to give a try. There was parking available nearby. The ambiance was bright and family friendly. Server was friendly and attentive. We ordered 4 pieces fried chicken, sautéed cabbage, fish hot pot with vermicelli noodle and egg tarts. Food was delicious and we enjoyed it. Glad we tried it.

Stella A.

Yelp
Food A friend recommended us to try this chicken place so I tried their fried chicken and waffle fries (take out). The chicken was too dry for me (a bit on the darker color as well visually) and the seasoning was so so. The batter was crispy though. I prefer their waffle fries to the fried chicken. Service and Ambiance Pretty quick ordering process, card was accepted. Ambiance of the place was nice and cozy. Maybe next time I would just dine in.

Jason L.

Yelp
This is why you can't trust social media influencers. I got got by one of the Seattle foodie IG accounts and they led me astray. First, it's probably not a good sign that I was the only one in the restaurant that ordered the fried chicken. But alas, hard to mess up right? Well, it wasn't bad. The chicken was fresh and juicy. My only complaint about the chicken was that it was pretty underseasoned. And so while it was crispy and juicy, it was bland. What really made me dislike my meal was how bad the fries were. They were literally the ones you get frozen from the store and they were very hard and unappetizing. It's very rare for me to not finish my fries but I couldn't. I'll come back for the other dishes next time but the fried chicken was not so tasty.

Kimberley C.

Yelp
WOW! So Tasty exceeded my expectations! From the outside it looks like it's a small location, but it isn't! The restaurant is roomy and clean! There's not much parking in their lot, but there's plenty of street parking. The food was delicious! My mouth is watering just writing this...I ordered the original soup with braised beef and fried chicken combo. Mango green tea for my drink! My friend ordered the kimchi soup with braised beef. The soup is packed with SO much goodness! I couldn't finish it. The braised beef was cooked to perfection. The fried chicken was juicy and crunchy! Hands down the best fried chicken I've had in awhile. The service was just okay. You order everything through a third party website which I thought was cool because pictures were included, but it takes away from interacting with the staff. All in all, I can't wait to go back!!!

Joseph M.

Yelp
Highly recommend this place! The fried chicken is very juicy and flavorful. Service was great.

Jared C.

Yelp
So Tasty is definitely So Tasty, I shared a couple of things with a friend, and all items hit the taste buds right. We started with spicy dumplings, and then the fried chicken came out hot and fresh. One bite of the drumsticks had the juices flowing out. The cumin lamb is a classic Chinese dish and So Tasty does it well. If you are in the Bellevue area and looking for a quick meal, So Tasty is a great choice.

Timothy L.

Yelp
Very interesting Chinese spot that specializes in fried chicken with a peppercorn mala taste. I ordered a combo meal with the chicken wings and fries and also tried a few of the egg tarts. Wings had such a nice kick to it, these may be some of my favorite chicken wings. The egg tarts has a nice outer crust, they may be some of the best egg tarts in the area. I also got their taro milk tea, not too sweet but you definitely taste the taro.

Emma F.

Yelp
We come to So Tasty regularly and the chicken is always mind blowing. Good ambiance and nice staff.

Katie N.

Yelp
Came in here for dinner and noticed there were a lot of door dash / Uber eat etc. For to go orders. They don't have physical menus, so we ordered our food via the QR code app. We ordered two fried chicken drumsticks. One piece was cooked perfectly and the other was slightly undercooked as it had blood running out of it. The chicken was very crispy and juicy. We ordered the deep fried bread with condensed milk and realized they might have used the same oil when they fried their fried chicken. Because our bread was spicy. The pick feet noodle soup was good, full of ingredients but the soup base lacked flavor. The spicy lamb pot was very spicy. We requested on the app for minimum/ little spice and it was still pretty extreme. So if you like spice, order that one. The lamb with rice was very bland. But it was healthy. The service was great. The waitresses were super nice and friendly. Overall, it tasted pretty good. I wished the chicken was cooked all the way, the bread wasn't spicy and there was more flavor to the broth and the lamb.

Josh K.

Yelp
4.5/5 stars! Wow this place is definitely tasty as the name indicates! The spicy wings here are probably my new fav wings in Bellevue/seattle! Also they are much bigger than wings ANYWHERE else. I got 8 whole wings cus I can easily crush 20 wingstop wings. When my wings hit my table I knew I was in way over my head. Ordering is done from your phone and is quick and easy. Food comes fairly quick, especially considering the amount I ordered. I had the egg fried rice, cabbage, buns and condensed milk, 8 whole wings (half spicy and half not), spicy chicken bone, egg tarts, and two teas. Egg fried rice is a 8.5/10 (think I like it better than dtf egg fried rice). Cabbage - simple and delicious! Garlicky and savory. 8/10 Buns and condensed milk - good overall! Some buns were pretty dry. 7/10 Spicy wings- 9.3/10! Seriously so good! Fresh, hot, crispy, juicy, perfect spice level for me. Heat level on point but great flavor as well. These are massive! Regular wings - 8/10. All the same in terms of size juiciness etc. flavor is lacking in comparison to the spicy but that makes sense. Still seriously good but could be better seasoning. Spicy chicken bone - free cus we ordered over $50 of food! This was honestly Amazing. The seasoning on this is different than the spicy wings but I wish I could get wings with the seasoning of this. It was like Taiwanese popcorn chicken flavor. Super juicy and crispy. Delicious. 9/10 Egg tarts -8/10 big and succulent but very buttery. The most buttery egg tarts I've ever had! I will be back. But I will order a lot less! I have three whole wings leftover and alot of the chicken bone dish.

Jenny L.

Yelp
A clean restaurant with lots of seating options. They have paperless ordering and a variety of Asian bites. My friend ordered the fried chicken combo that is super delicious and crunchy. I ordered the mala hot pot that was just right with my milk tea. The broth could be more spicy, hence the start reduction. Quite satisfied with parking, food and service. I'll definitely come back again.

Generous Y.

Yelp
First of all, skip the boba. It's not terrible but it just isn't good. Boba itself is a mixture of overcooked and undercooked. I didn't know they had boba until I looked at the menu in person and wanted to add to my boba list. It wasn't a complete mistake, just know there are many boba spots nearby to satisfy that craving. Unless you also want to add to your boba list. They have online promotions such as a free drink when you spend a certain amount, but they seem to be takeout only and not dine in. I saw that Mike Chen visited and loved the fried chicken, specifically the drumsticks. That's also what they're known for and advertise, so it was an easy choice in ordering. Though my friends ordered other entrees so we had a good variety. They sold out of egg tarts when my friend ordered and they told us they're making a fresh batch even though they were closing in 30 minutes which was very kind. Fried Chicken (drumsticks, thighs, wings) - crispy and juicy but not the best I've had. If you're ordering fried chicken, I personally thought the drumsticks and thighs were better than the wings. I had a lot of hope for the wings but they were disappointing. They advertise "best fried chicken in WA" not particularly wings and when there Korean fried chicken exists, regular wings can be underwhelming. When I think fried chicken, I think the larger pieces like drumsticks and thighs anyway. Basically, skip the wings and order drumsticks or thighs.

Christin S.

Yelp
Came as a group of 7 during lunch and we got seated quickly. The inside is spacious and clean. We got quite a few dishes to share and everything came out hot and tasted good.

Wei-Wei C.

Yelp
Best chicken in town, very chicken with crispy skin. Didn't think the server was friendly tho.

Caoimhe D.

Yelp
Food was tasty and fairly priced! I was absolutely stuffed, which is great when he is able to finish the food I can't finish. The environment was very clean and mellow. However, it was cold, and uncomfortable in that regard for us. As for service, we were not expecting to have to do everything via our phones! We had to scan a QR code to get the menu, and then had to create an account for a service we didn't really want. This made it feel very institutional and somewhat impersonal. The two waitresses that were in there who brought us our food and water were very nice. In all it was an ok experience once we got past the initial shock of it not being what we expected.

Kai C.

Yelp
The husband loves Portuguese style egg tarts and they can be hard to hunt down. This place has them and they are fantastic, as is everything else we ordered. In a pleasant if somewhat tucked away area, in a line of varied restaurant options. You order on your phone from your table and then they bring you the food. Everything was piping hot, if that was called for, and the people working that day were very cheerful and helpful.

Eve O.

Yelp
Fried chicken was very crispy on the outside snd juicy on the inside. Braised beef was flavorful as well. Food came out pretty quickly and tasted great. Staff was friendly. Will definitely come again!

Audrey C.

Yelp
This place is such a hidden gem for fried chicken! They provide indoor seating and you must place your order via QR code on the app. Their fried chicken has so much flavour and is perfectly tender and crispy. The prices are decent as well and I will definitely recommend coming back for it! The service is pretty good and they deliver your food relatively quickly. The atmosphere is pretty nice and they have plenty of seating in doors. Parking: Free and bountiful!

Nhung M.

Yelp
Cute place with good, fast, and friendly service. I came in around 2 pm, after the lunch rush. The fried chicken was good, and while the pork intestines were decent, I've had better elsewhere.

Albert L.

Yelp
Delicious fried chicken - some of the best fried chicken you'll get on the Eastside. American fried chicken uses AP flour and its buttermilk dredge to achieve a thicker crust and larger flakes. The crust is generally a harder crunch. On the other end, cantonese fried chicken uses a mix of corn starch and flour to achieve a lighter and thinner crust, which is more "crisp" than "crunch". So Tasty's rendition is a nice middle ground of both, and the chicken is greatly marinated to offer flavor both on the crust and deep in the pieces of chicken. Original and spicy are both great - if you can do some heat, I'd go for the spicy. Quick service and a spacious, cozy setting.

Sunny H.

Yelp
This could have been 3 stars but lack of good customer service brought down one star. They got my order wrong and rather than correcting it by offering the right menu item, they simply insisted that they adjust price. Strange. We ordered: Original noodle soup (great chewy noodles) 12 piece whole chicken wings (won't do ever again) Egg fried rice with tofu (fine) Waffle fries (nice and crispy) Too bad our experience was so different from the high Yelp ratings.

Lucy C.

Yelp
fried chicken and the rice noodle soup is pretty good. However, it's just extremely expensive. I personally think you can find better fried chicken that's cheaper or just make it at home in the air fryer. I think the prices are a bit unreasonable. Even with the soup noodle, the protein is even considered an add on and costs extra. (???) it's not even in downtown Bellevue, so considering it's located in the crossroads area, I expected prices to be more reasonable.

Amy C.

Yelp
We love their fired chicken and have only done take out. I love that they speak Cantonese as there aren't many of us around. Their fried chicken is so crispy and juicy. We usually order the whole wings and drumsticks. I love that you can do a mix of spicy and non spicy (for the kiddos). If we have left overs, we simply put it in the air fryer and they still tasty crispy and juicy.

Ena D.

Yelp
The fried chicken here is sooo good. Crispy and juicy! They do try their best to give the customers good service. I have ordered for pickup and dined in. They get pretty full at lunch on weekends. They have a clean and bright space and can accommodate large groups but reserve in advance. So if you're ordering for DoorDash on weekends, it may take a while. I also always forget that they're closed on Mondays, which is a bummer.

Paulina H.

Yelp
Let's start with service, there's one girl who works there is super nice and sweet. She would recommend me their best sellers or give me suggestions. I personally loved her personality. I asked can we dine in while my bf got outside food, she rejected us respectfully and gave us a proper explanation. She is seriously 10/10! The Portuguese Custard egg tart is the best thing on earth. I wish I tried it when it's warm because I had a long ride home it got cold. I agree with that hostess saying they have the best Portuguese egg tart. My bf is a picky eater and he was worried he won't even like it, so he wanted to have a bite from mine. Thank god I said no and told him if he doesn't like it, I will finish it for him. Guess what he ate the whole thing. The fried chicken and waffle fries are really crispy. They made it a great spice. I will definitely go back and try other things

Yelp
Hmm, more like so not Tasty! I came here a while ago to try this spot out. Since a lot of people been telling me this spot is Lit... Okay. Stop by here and got seated quickly. I spoke Chinese to the staff she act like she didn't understand me and spoke English to me. My bad for assuming she is Chinese, but it is fine. I spoke back English to her. I got my water and waiting for my friend to join me. While waiting for my friend I was looking at their E-menu on my phone. And I can hear the speaking in Chinese toward each other.... In my mind, I'm like alright... I guess my Chinese is fluently for them to understand. But whatever Idc... We ordered a glazed Chinese donut and 4 pieces drumstick half and half for our appetizer to start out with. As for our main dish. I got the Mala pot with pork belly and my friend got one of their signature dish that comes with a pieces of fried chicken on the side lol... The Chinese donut tasted like any fried donut so nothing new but the portion is small like its only half of the full donut. For the fried chicken half spicy half original. Spicy one tasted better then the original. Decent fried chicken but I had better lol... As for my Mala pot. Broth tasted good not too spicy for me. Not much protein but mostly veggie. Mediocre, like I'm eating ramen at home. My friend liked his bland soup. As for the pricing about $17-20 bucks per soup. Overall, not my cup of tea for soup spot.

Yelp
So Tasty has been on my radar to try in the Bellevue Crossroads area for some time, and I'm glad I was able to stop by and give this restaurant a try! We went on a Saturday at 6:30pm and had a 5 minute wait to get seated. Orders at the time were mostly done through their online ordering system (QR codes at tables that take you to the site), and you order and pay your bill through the site, which is handy! I had a good variety of dishes which I'll review down below: Portuguese Egg Tart: Yum - This egg tart was scrumptious! The egg custard was creamy and I thought the sweetness in the tart was perfect. The puff pastry was very flaky and had a delicious and delicate texture, as in you could taste the layering of the butter - sort of like a croissant but a smaller scale - I would recommend this egg tart! Black Pepper Beef Combo: Comes with a sour plum drink! The drink had a good subtle plum flavoring with some tartness that was pleasing. Definitely a good refreshing option if you do decide to get some fried chicken, as it cuts through the richness/fattiness. Onto the entrée - they do indeed give you a good amount of food, as you get a kale salad and a tea egg in addition to the main you order, it is pretty filling! The beef was good - had a good consistency, and the black pepper sauce does give a good flavor from spice (not spiciness, but like a black pepper spice) - though I personally wished that I got a little bit more beef as at the end I was mostly eating rice. The kale salad was delicious! Had a good subtle garlic flavor, and it feels like the way they sautéed it gave a home cooked vibe - tasty! Fried Chicken Thighs: I wanted to try both the original and spicy version, and fried chicken thighs are usually my go to in terms of fried chicken. These were pretty tasty - the chicken was juicy and bread coating was crunchy and not too oily, delicious! The original flavor was good, but I personally like the spicy one more in terms of flavor as there was a comfortable amount of much needed spice to elevate the overall profile of the chicken. In the end, I spent about $30 for everything you see here. So Tasty is definitely a solid option as you do get a good amount of food given the price. I definitely would like to come back in the future to try the other options that they have to offer, and I recommend you come give So Tasty a try! (4.75 stars!)

Yelp
This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Redmond/Bellevue area. The fried chicken is always super moist and not too ready. It is cooked to perfection. I love their set meals because it comes with a drink for about $17 with tax. When we order take out, it comes out pretty soon within 15 min. There is plenty of seating inside and outside of the restaurant. The only downside that we had when ordering at So Tasty was when we ordered the meal and the delicious kale salad wasn't properly washed. I could taste some dirt and it was a little gritty. We have since ordered this again and didn't experience this. It was off putting when it happened though.

Yelp
I'm glad we tried this restaurant. Everything we had were delicious. I'm particularly glad that they offer fried chicken and Chinese foods together. My kids can enjoy their chicken and fries while mom can slurp the yummy noodles. Win win for us. I had the pickled cabbage soup with rice noodles. I like that their taste is more mild and not as spicy which is how I like it. Their Portuguese egg tarts are so good, crunchy crust and creamy custard is the perfect combination. Their lychee green tea is refreshing and I don't mind drinking it on hot summer days! Will definitely come bk!
