Just a small list of my favorite places and things to eat in the Seattle (and surrounding) area. (:

Coffeeholic House

Coffee shop · Columbia City

Masters of Vietnamese Iced Coffee (and other specialties)! This is the original location. No seating available but can take a nice stroll around the neighborhood on a good day. (:

Coffeeholic House

Coffee shop · Greenwood

This is the second location with seating available!

Starbucks Reserve SoDo

Coffee shop · Industrial District

I personally prefer this Starbucks Reserve location because it's more spacious (and not as busy)!

Seattle Best Tea

Tea house · International District

Milk tea made with real tea leaves. The owners of the shop are also super sweet and prioritize a good customer experience. They're very lovely and also serve some pretty great ice cream too.

The Flour Box

Bakery · Columbia City

Specialty donuts that are so delicious that they sell out QUICK. The line may look intimidating, but it's worth the wait if you have the time. (:

Le Donut

Bakery · Tacoma

Very hole in the wall donut shop that's been around for ages. Ran by a sweet older gentleman who makes some fantastic donuts. Worth the drive. Be sure to heat up the apple cinnamon crunch fritter if you're lucky enough to get one!

Salt & Straw

Ice cream shop · Ballard

Originally from Portland so it's nice to have a little piece of home! Always love their ice cream and quirky seasonal flavors.

Tacos Chukis

Taco restaurant · Beacon Hill

Favorite place to get tacos since college days. Glad they opened up more locations that are easier to get to like this one!

yelp

S/T Hooligans

Creole restaurant · Fremont

Nice, quiet place to enjoy some cajun dishes and some drinks with good company! Dine-in available.

Perihelion Brewery

Brewery · Beacon Hill

Love this place for beers/drinks and "drinking food".

yelp

Chuck's Hop Shop - Central District

Beer store · Central Area

SO MANY BEERS ON TAP (and canned options too). Indoor seating and heated outdoor seating as well. What a fun place to chill and have a good time with friends.

So Tasty

Chinese restaurant · Bellevue

JUICYY. FRIEd. CHicKEn. <3

New Luck Toy

Bar · Seaview

SUCH GOOD Chinese food (also offering drinks and karaoke)! My personal favorite: General Tso's Fried Chicken with chili sauce and scallion.

Honey Court Seafood

Cantonese restaurant · International District

If you had a wild night or just a late night in general and you need a good meal, Honey Court has never failed, especially in the post drunchies downfall.

19 Gold

Taiwanese restaurant · Fremont

Bomb Taiwanese food. What more can I say.

Hangry Panda

Temporarily Closed

The food/snack options really hit the spot and they make unique drinks too to accompany your food (or vice versa?). I'd personally recommend the Sesame Scallion Noodle Nest! Currently to-go only.

yelp

Karaage Setsuna

Restaurant · Belltown

One of my favorite comfort spots for kaarage and curry rice.

Musashi's

Ramen restaurant · Capitol Hill

Personally my favorite place to get Chirashi bowls and the sushi is good too! There are multiple locations but be sure to check the hours before you decide to go.

yelp

Seattle Fish Guys

Seafood market · Central Area

Hearty helping to meet your poke fix. They serve their poke FRESH.

Marination Ma Kai

Hawaiian restaurant · West Industrial District

Enjoy a generous helping of Hawaiian food while overlooking the Elliot Bay!

yelp

Huong Duong Sunflower

Vietnamese restaurant · Brighton

Another yummy Vietnamese place. I've ordered things from pho to rice dishes and I've never been disappointed.

Pho Ba

Vietnamese restaurant · International District

It's not a pho restaurant if there's no random number in it (ba means three in Vietnamese)! Super hole in the wall place located in International District. The pho feels like home when I miss mom's cooking and the vermicelli noodle and rice dishes are pretty tasty and filling too if you're not feeling pho.

yelp

Flavor Lao

Thai restaurant · Greenwood

Amazing authentic Laotian food! The Kao Poon noodle soup is one of the most popular dishes and it's easy to see why once you try it. Heads up that the portions are large so come hungry. Nice place to eat on a rainy day.

Point Defiance Park

Park · Tacoma

On a sunny day, the Point Defiance area is a great place for a nice long walk with many different sights from the zoo to a rose garden and all the way to the waterfront!

yelp

Gas Works Park

City park · Wallingford

Quirky public park with its own Seattle charm that is one of the last standing coal gasification plants in the United States. Wonderful place to stroll around by the water and enjoy the sunset.
