Yelp
My friend found Soall Viet Kitchen - probably on HappyCow - and suggested we stop in for lunch while discussing her wedding plans. I was late, so when I arrived, she filled me in on all of the vegan options on the menu. She reported having had a great time chatting with our server who really understood what we were looking for. Between appetizers, noodle bowls, and pho, there's a bit of everything to keep vegans and the vegan curious happy and well fed. We both opted for the veg & tofu pho and her husband to be had a noodle bowl. The pho is served in giant bowls. Honestly, more like troughs. And it's a good mix of savory broth, rice models, veggies, and tofu puffs. They include extra jalapeño and cilantro on the side, along with hoisin and sriracha for customizable flavor enhancement. Unless you are a competitive eater, you'll likely need to bring half of your bowl home with you, but the folks at Soall will happily oblige. I didn't eat the noodle bowl, but it also got a solid review. At the end of our meal, already counting ourselves lucky to have had such a bountiful meal, our server asked if we'd like dessert. I was already stuffed from the pho, but I didn't want to discourage the restaurant from offering vegan desserts, so we ordered a couple. It was a warm, rich, and creamy tapioca situation with bananas laced throughout. I'm glad I didn't know what to expect because this blew me out the water!! And I don't even like bananas. So, I highly recommend stopping at Soall and indulging in the desert if it's available! I'm not sure if they are available on UberEats or GrubHub, but I wish they were because I could go for a bowl of that pho right about now!
So why did they get 4 stars for an otherwise excellent experience? There seem to be issues with ordering veg options and receiving fish or meat. This is a big problem, allergy-wise. If Soall Viet Kitchen can proactively address this issue, I'd have no reservations about recommending them!
