"‘Arabompu’ was a favourite word of Edo-era haiku poet Kobayashi Issa. It means ‘living a free and ordinary life’. For the chef here, it means approaching his subjects, buckwheat and soba, from a natural stance. To watch his series of tasks—parboiling, washing, then plating the soba noodles—there’s no substitute for a seat at the counter. The ‘Soba Zanmai’ set offers three types of soba—nihachi, juwari, and arabiki—served as half bowls of each for tasting. A cozy restaurant ran by an AMAZING couple . Almost IMPOSSIBLE to hate on the hustle and sincerity POURED into the craft of BUCKWHEAT NOODLES !!! That said, the food is a little bit bland and there is NO topping – so the appreciation for noodles is key . Go during a weekday and there will be no wait time . ENJOY OSAKA :)

Authentic soba restaurant, all home-made. The service was prefect, the soba was fresh and it’s open kitchen so you can see the whole process. There is option to take testing dish which contain the top 3 soba dishes in the menu. Best soba we had in Japan so far! 5/5 ⭐️

Depending on how much the content of buckwheat goes in the noodle, you can get different experiences in flavor and texture. Having eaten lots of soba noodle, simply the best! Definitely worth waiting for it!

西天満、そば切り荒凡夫✨ 2025食べログ百名店の蕎麦屋さん遠い昔に一度訪問したことがあるのですが、最早記憶の彼方なので気持ちは初訪問。並ぶ予感がしたのでオープン10分前に到着。既に3組がおられました😊 注文したのは ・そば三昧(1800円) ・数の子山海漬(350円) ※税込 です✨ ドリンク情報🍺 ・ハートランド中瓶(780円) ・ハートランド小瓶(600円) ・日本酒グラス(530円〜) ・ソフトドリンク(400円〜) ※税込 以下レビュー❗️ ⚫︎そば三昧 二八、十割、田舎十割の3種類が半盛りずつ提供されます。 ・二八 滑らかな喉越しとともに、一口目から尖った蕎麦の香りが鼻腔を抜けます。噛みしめるほどに蕎麦本来の甘みが広がり、つゆとの相性も抜群です。小麦のつなぎが入っていることで程よいコシがあり、蕎麦の風味とバランスの良さが楽しめました ・十割 十割でありながらも全く硬すぎず、絶妙な茹で加減で仕上げられています。蕎麦の豊かな風味をしっかりと感じつつ、驚くほど喉越しが良いのが特徴です。つるりと口の中を滑り抜ける食感と、後から追ってくる蕎麦の香りが非常に上品です。 ・田舎十割 こちらは太麺でしっかりした歯応え。鼻に抜ける香りは他の蕎麦よりも格段に強く、蕎麦の実の香りが一番強いのが魅力です。噛むたびに蕎麦の風味と豊かな甘みが口いっぱいに広がる、満足感の高い一品です😊 量はそもそもが少ないので半盛りは相当少ないです。男性であると、そば三昧の後に通常盛りをもう一枚でちょうど良いレベルです。 もともとそばでお腹いっぱいにするのではなく、蕎麦自身の味をしっかりと楽しむお店だと思います😊 蕎麦も日か一定期間ごとに変わるシステムかと思いますので、様々なそばを食べに訪問されてはいかがでしょうか? 特に蕎麦が好きな玄人向きのお店だと思います✨
