Social Capitol

I need to preface this with a disclaimer that I do not fault the staff, they are very obviously doing their best. My problems are with the management who very clearly are trying to cut costs to the detriment of the dining experience. I've gone twice so far, for dinner and for breakfast. The dinner was perfectly adequate but it was clear that they only had the one server. It was a burger and some fries and I didn't have any complaints. It wasn't great, it was fine. The breakfast however, the biscuits were stale to the point of being powdery when I chewed them. The gravy was akin to a flavorless cement that somehow made the singular bite I took even drier. I wanted to just pay for the food and leave, maybe grab something on the way to my conference, but it took at least twenty minutes and four requests for me to get the check. Again, I need to stress that I don't blame the staff. There's very clearly not enough hands to go around, and there were so many people who came in after me that I understand it was hard to keep up. And they were very apologetic for the negative experience. For what they're charging, I'm sure management can afford to hire some more staff, but the lack of options in the immediate vicinity means they don't need to worry about competition. But I think you're better off doordashing fast food breakfast.

I had the pleasure of visiting Social Capitol shortly after its opening, and I must say—it’s already operating like a well-loved local favorite. The staff greeted me so kindly, helped me with menu suggestions, and checked up on me just enough; being attentive without ever being intrusive. It’s clear that hospitality is a top priority here. The food? Exceptional. I had the breakfast sandwich with a side of potatoes and a parfait. Both dishes were beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in using fresh, high-quality ingredients. Whether you’re in the mood for a light bite or something hearty, the menu offers a well-balanced variety of items. What really tied the experience together was the ambiance. The space is wonderfully designed. It’s sophisticated and inviting. It’s the kind of place where you can lose track of time at either dining, chatting, or working on your own thing. Social Capitol hit everything on the nail - from excellent service and top-tier food, to a relaxing vibe. I’ll definitely be back—and bringing friends.

This restaurant was very delicious. It was connected to the hotel I stayed at and did not disappoint. The coffee was delicious. The food was delicious and very filling.

Kitchen absolutely has zero consistency whatsoever. Be prepared to wait half an hour for your food and stare at an empty bar the entire time you wait. No liquor license and Friday nights gets insanely loud and ratchet. If you're staying in the hotel, good luck with that, and zero room service.

I had the Cesar wrap w/grilled chicken. I was cool. Would have gotten fries but they were out of fries on a Friday midday lunch time. And I waited 40 mins for my Togo order. I was on my lunch break! SMH .. but I was forced to get house chips that were extremely stale one was soft and I almost threw up! However, I will try it again bc it’s near my job and gym!! Hopefully, I have a better experience next time.

Chef inspired upscale casual dining with reasonable prices. This place is a hidden gem in downtown. The food is the star at this place, and the Chef was kind enough to come say hello

Social Capital should be your first stop after a stressful day in Fulton County Court. Adonis is always a pleasant vibe and very personable!

The restaurant is brand new and has great vibes. Service was exceptional with zero wait for my party. The food was so good and unique, I recommend the ceasar wedge with housemate bagel chips and the biscuit battered chicken sandwich, yum. The Chef even made time to come and check on us during our lunch. Kiddos to Chef Chris and his staff. This is a hidden gem in the heart of downtown

Ate an early dinner here while waiting for a Yelp event to start. Looked for free street parking right after the day time period for required paid parking was done, and got to park very close to the hotel near the valet station. After entering through the main lobby entrance, turn left and go downstairs - you'll see the bar area. There were two attentive servers/bartenders working the bar area when we arrived. Nice bar stool seating right at the U shaped bar counter, with lots of tables and chairs for customers. Ordered the Capitol Cheeseburger, which came with a beef patty, bacon, jam, cheese, lettuce, pickles, and tomato. I had ordered the beef patty cooked medium well, but it was served well done. Not quite a fan of well done burgers, but I was hungry and didn't want to wait any longer for a replacement burger. Included with the burger meal was a drink and a ton of fries. I'm sure that the employees in the kitchen were trying to see how many fries they could add so that I couldn't see the bottom of the plate. There were just way too many fries that I couldn't eat them all. Great service, decent burger, good fries, and a drink, with a great price of $14 for the entire meal. The only things that would've made this meal better were for the meat to be cooked medium well and a couple of slices of sweet onion added to the burger. Overall a good experience!

We came to an even with Yelp for "Know Us" Atlanta.. even though the event was not exactly what we expected, the venue was amazing. Lots of space, big beautiful bar with upstair seating. The cocktails were nice and the appetizer that we did try was pretty good.

Let's keep the food consistent and listen more, yall. I've bragged about the most fluffy eggs ever with cheese....NOT TODAY! Ticket #11 on 1/09/2025 :(

DELISH! The cook in that kitchen on October 14, 2025 deserves all the honors. The best spot I ate at in Atlanta. I wish I had more time to go back and try more, but I will definitely visit again when I am back in Atlanta on business.

I didn't try any food but the wine selection seem to be good. The event I attended was a good vibe the service was good even though the bartenders were a little stretched they were great

The cauliflower with the sweet chili is awesome. Nice and crunchy but perfectly cooked.

The Full Monty is a great option that is fit for adults as well. Services is great as always and the place is clean and hip. A perfect way to start your day.

Good service. Good ambience. Worth checking out. New hotel with events on Friday and throughout the week.

Loved the vibe at Social Capitol! Great brunch, creative cocktails, and the staff made us feel right at home. Perfect spot for a weekend hangout or casual dinner. Can't wait to come back!

Had a wonderful brunch there on a recent Sunday. The style and overall feeling you get while in here is, I want to keep having fun here! Great food, wonderful service that is so attentive and great with suggestions since it was our first time there. I enjoyed a Crispy Chicken sandwich, nothing like it anywhere, delish! I also enjoyed a perfectly blended Bloody Mary! My friends and I all tasted off each other's plates from a large platter our server brought us; we put it in the middle of the table, and everyone put bites of their plates on it when the food came. So, I really got to try a lot. We'll definitely be going back!

this place is located in a area that could really make them blossom into a profitable restaurant!! however, its not consistent and the food quality is very poor. the salad is not fresh the chicken taste old and look old. i ordered a caesar salad with grilled chicken and it was horrible. they're giving you old iceberg lettuce on a caesar salad and old dried up chicken straps from god knows where from the looks of it. this is my 2nd review at this restaurant(smh) i wanted to give them the opportunity to make things right and its only got worse! i would not recommend to anyone!!! don't waste your money!!

Food was great as well as service. This restaurant has a great vibe being all new in a historic building.
