Where to Stay and Eat in Vancouver

"They may occupy a corner location, but this well-run establishment deserves center stage. Hummus is sized generously and served with warm, freshly made flatbread. Salads, such as the heritage greens with crispy goat cheese and candied walnuts, are lovingly made. Lobster & crab ravioli in a chipotle coconut milk reduction is a top pick, while come dessert, you'll be debating between the tiramisu or pizza di Nutella." - Michelin Inspector

Google
This place has the best burger in Vancouver, paella is authentic and excellent and they hand toss pizzas 6 feet in the air. I love their salads. I loved every bit of the food. But be understanding, they can be understaffed so you need to tell your server all your needs in one go since you won't see him/her for 15 minutes.

Google
The pasta was a bit firm, and my 5-year-old said it was a little spicy. The garlic bread was excellent — the crumb was airy yet dense, soft with a nice chew. Definitely a highlight. The dessert was decent, not too sweet. The server was attentive and gentle.

We came for happy hour at around 3:30pm and had no problems finding a table. Beef carpaccio - good balance of savoury and sour. Not overly chewy Pepperoni e ricotta - was a bit too oily for me but I liked the chewiness of the dough. I wished there was a bit more ricotta to offset the oiliness of the pepperoni Truffle fries - super addictive. Not truffle-y enough. But I loved the crispness of the fries We had the tinta cocktail and the espresso martini. Both were okay but nothing stellar. The price of their happy hour is pretty good and their menu is pretty broad. The service was fast and good. Loved the ambiance here but the food was just missing that little punch to make me want to come back

The place is very beautiful, The music was great. Not too loud just perfect. I had a wonderful dining experience! The vibe was classy, perfect for me. The food was full of flavor—definitely lived up to the hype. What really stood out, though, was the exceptional service. My server Pearl was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the start. She recommended a few standout items on the menu, and every one of them was a hit. Throughout the meal, she checked in just the right amount to make sure i was taken care of without ever feeling rushed. It’s that kind of attentive, genuine service that makes a place memorable. Highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area!

Had a great experience at Per Se Social Corner! The food was excellent—especially the pizza, which was absolutely fantastic. There was a bit of a wait for our food, which was the only downside, but our server Galen really took care of us and was very apologetic about the delay. His attentiveness made a big difference. Overall, a great spot with quality food and a welcoming atmosphere. Will definitely be back!

Google
Excellent spot for a date night or a night out! The service and food were both great, we ordered a salad and the carbonara pizza. I'm currently pregnant, so I went with a virgin Caesar, but their cocktails looked amazing too. The only downside was the bathrooms, they felt more like something you'd find in a cheap restaurant, which didn’t match the rest of the experience.

Google
there is no other word that can describe this burger other than absolutely DIVINE. i’ve never had such a well crafted burger before, with all the flavours working together so flawlessly. the sweetness of the caramel onions, i cannot express HOW MUCH OF A PUNCH AND IMPACT it had, it was so perfect with the saltiness of the meat and the smoothness of the melted cheese. every bite of that onion was DECADENCE. the patty was also incredibly high quality and had a distinct flavour different from your regular dry patties — this was the least dry patty i’ve ever had and the meat juices swirled and broke apart in your mouth. the patata bravas were just okay, but maybe it’s because i’m just not a fan of tomato sauce. the pizza nutella dough was very chewy and soft, very well made, but it was literally straight up nutella, so after a first few bites of chocolatey heaven, it got a bit too sweet. the ice cream was nice addition and balanced the heavy sweetness of the chocolate though, although i do think that a salty component (like sea salt or something else) would’ve really elevated it too.

Google
I ordered the seafood pasta, an Old Fashioned, and a slice of cake—and honestly, everything hit the spot. The pasta was packed with fresh, perfectly cooked seafood and tossed in a flavorful sauce that made every bite satisfying. The Old Fashioned was smooth and expertly mixed, with just the right balance of sweetness and strength. And the cake? Pure heaven—moist, rich, and the kind of dessert that makes you close your eyes for a second. The service was equally impressive—warm, attentive, and never rushed. I felt well taken care of from start to finish. Loved the whole experience!

Yelp
Such a cool ambiance for a group dinner or date. We made reservations for 11 people and were able to get seated right away. It was pretty warm inside though - needed the AC to be on full blast. Food and drinks were spectacular. We ordered seafood paella, truffle fries, the burger, steak, pizza and pasta. Cocktails were amazing.

Yelp
This place is great for a fun night out. Group dinner or date night night. We saw several of both while out for dinner on a Friday night. The place is busy and bussling! The high ceilings, viewable pizza oven station, wine lights, shelves everything was giving to the aesthetic of a classy night out. The food was good. We got the calamari and potato bravas to share, both yummy and gone. The drinks were fun and different. They had something for everything and spins on drinks we had never seen before. For dinner I got the crab and lobster ravioli and it was delicious. We soaked up all the sauce in the pizza crust. The pizza was as expected and great quality. The paella looked beautiful and the seafood was cooked perfectly but the one comment I would make would be the rice was a little dry for my liking. Overall a great experience and I would definitely go back if there weren't so many other good restaurants in the area that I also want to try.

Yelp
We went for an early dinner at this restaurant last Sunday. We were glad that we made reservations because the restaurant was busy even at 6 pm. The greeter at the front desk was a bit snobbish for no apparent reason, no smiles, no greeting, no facial expressions. This was not a good sign. We were led to a nice table, so no complain there. Our server was nice and we of course ordered the famous burger. We also ordered the lamb chop appetizer and a Caesar salad to start. The lamb was the winner, tender and favourful. The salad was OK, but the burger was a major disappointment. It was greasy and not definitely did not live up to the reputation. The restaurant's ambience was nice, but we will not be back.

Yelp
My coworkers recently told me that Social Corner was a must-try, so I had to go. The restaurant has a nice aesthetic on both the inside and out. My server was nice and told me the top choice, which I decided to go with the Sriracha e Brasato! It was also part of the happy hour menu, which was a plus! It was delicious, and the portion was just enough for me not to feel too full, but also didn't have me leaving hungry! This was a great recommendation, and I would 100% go back!

Yelp
Delicious food and good service! Will definitely be back again. I love the Spanish/italian fusion concept.

Yelp
Overall, the food was decent especially the paella, but the portions were on the smaller side. The chorizo on toast was the best part of the meal, but the potatoes were just alright. Overall, it wasn't worth waiting about an half hour for just okay food.
google avatar

Yelp
The focus here is on their pizzas, which are hand-tossed and then rise dramatically in the oven. We didn't have pizza, but we did have the resulting bread with both the hummus and carpaccio appetizers. The Caesar salad was straightforward, with delicious brioche-like croutons. Service was attentive, and the place has a cool vibe.

Yelp
Love the ambiance - high ceiling, white linen covered tables, large space, music a bit too loud for my liking. Service is great! Food selection is widely Italian with lots of pizza and pasta choices but there's a mixture of Spanish paella which I can't resist and burgers too. We started with lightly battered CALAMARI DI MAMMA (GLUTEN-FREE). I like that it's lightly battered but taste could be more elevated. BOGA BOGA was impressive. The TARTUFINA and CRIMINALE pizzas were very good - thin crust and flavourful. The combination of toppings in both dishes were right up the alley. The SEAFOOD PAELLA was not quite what I expected. Not that it's bad, it's just not authentic - no socarrat! It's still tasty though. Overall we had a great night! This place is perfect for get togethers.

Yelp
I've seen the decor inside the restaurant and the aesthetic food photos on Instagram and I've been wanting to come to per se for a long time. We finally visited on a Sunday afternoon and we were very excited. The interior decor did not disappoint; aesthetic and a perfect vibe for a Sunday brunch. Our waiter was very helpful in explaining parts of the menu we had questions about and provided great suggestions (tartufina) to try. We ended up ordering the seafood paella and the recommended tartufina pizza. The seafood paella was portioned for 2-3 people and although I haven't had many paellas before, I thought the paella at Per Se had a generous amount of fresh seafood mixed into the extremely flavourful rice. The rice had a slight crunchiness to it which added another texture to the dish. The tartufina pizza was delicious! The wood-fire oven delicately roasted the pizza to a perfect crisp, while maintaining the chewiness of the dough. They also ferment the dough for 72 hours which added to the overall mouthfeel and flavour of the pizza. The added sopressata (an extra charge), a recommendation by our waiter, perfectly complimented the pizza. The mix of cheesy Gorgonzola, soppresata, sweet pears and the chilli oil was a combo I would happily have on a pizza again. The top notch service, modern interior, and the high quality food will warrant a second visit and a must try for those who's been eyeing the restaurant!

Yelp
An amazing date night spot! Whoever was on aux has great taste when we ate at per se social corner! We got pizza, drinks, and a few appetizers and it filled us up! The pizza was thin so the cheese and toppings kept falling off, but it was not a problem. The service was great. They had quick service and were very attentive to us. For the price, the service and ambiance matched.

Yelp
The pizza and the calamari were the highlights of the food we ordered and both were gluten free! it's probably the best gluten free crust in town! I found the patatas bravas to be way too saucy and soggy. The service was incredibly quick! We were in and out within an hour! We were even there towards the tail end of happy hour (2-5pm Monday-Friday) when it was quite busy! A lot of the items we ordered were from the happy hour menu which is quite extensive!

Yelp
This place is hopping! So thankful we grabbed a reservation last minute, because there was never an empty table while we were at Per Se Social Corner. Dark, moody, and offering an amazing menu, Social Corner was our pick for an evening out with friends. The Yelp reviews really sold me on trying it, with promises of great drinks and good GF pizza. They weren't wrong. While the drinks are pricey as heck, averaging about $21 each, they're delicious and made with top shelf liquor. The beets & burrata appetizer was so good and devoured nearly instantly. And then there's the pizza. The regular pizza vs the GF look very similar, with the outer crust on the regular 72 dough rising just a bit more. Both are soft, thin, and delicious. It's rare a pizza this size, let alone two, are finished at a table of 4, but we managed to. They were so fresh, with unique ingredients, and totally tasty.

Yelp
Took me years to check out this spot which is just boppin. Music is not too loud that you can't hear the next person talk but loud enough to sing to. Food is great and so is the service in this darkly lit restaurant.

Yelp
Came here to celebrate my boyfriend's graduation and this chic restaurant was the perfect place to do so! Their ambiance is great and a huge space. They have a small live pizza making section in the back and grand chandeliers. My boyfriend and his family are vegetarians so we only ordered their veggie dishes, but they did not disappoint. My favourite was their funghi pizza which had bianco sauce, oven roasted mushrooms, fior di latte, and pecorino romano. Who doesn't like a cheese and mushroom combo?? Their pizza portions I would say are good for 2-3 people, it's not super big. The other pizza we got was their Drunken Goat, not the biggest fan of this one but that's also because I'm not a fan of tomato heavy pizzas. My second favourite was their gnocchi al pomodoro, it had san marzano marinara, parmigiano reggiano, and basil. Super cheesy and decadent, I needed some chilly flakes with this one to give it a little kick. Their service was amazing but it is a more high-end place. Our server was very attentive and gave us good options! I know the whole appeal of this place is that you get to cut your pizza with scissors, but I found that to be a bit gimmick-y.

Yelp
we arrived at 3:45 pm on a tuesday, a party of three, ready to dive into happy hour (2 to 5 pm, monday to friday). we used to come to per se social corner frequently before covid and always enjoyed their pizzas, burgers, fries, and salads, so we were excited to see how it holds up now. the cozy yet stylish space instantly set the tone, with its warm lighting, high ceilings, and elegant decor creating a relaxed and inviting vibe, (reminding me of new york) perfect for catching up over good food and drinks. we started with the lightly breaded calamari, served with tartar and aioli for dipping. it was simple but well executed. the goat cheese salad was a standout--crispy, golden goat cheese paired with sweet cherry tomatoes, sliced jalapeños, candied walnuts, and heritage greens, all tossed in a pear truffle vinaigrette that nailed the sweet and savoury balance. the wagyu beef carpaccio, however, was just okay. it was tender but lacked the acidity to bring it to life, though the chimichurri and mustard aioli helped add some flavour. the burger, made with 8oz of in-house hand-ground organic alberta beef, was juicy, messy, and flavourful but fell short of the amazing experience i remembered. while the brioche bun, melted fontina, truffle aioli, caramelized onions, and crispy shallots made for a promising combination, it didn't quite hit the mark this time. the highlight for me was the pepperoni ricotta pizza. the crust was perfectly charred, the pepperoni crispy, and the ricotta added a creamy richness that tied it all together beautifully. and the truffle fries? absolutely indulgent, crispy and elegantly presented, they were the table favourite. service was attentive but not overbearing. the staff made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout the meal. would i recommend this spot? without a doubt. the food, drinks, and ambiance make it worth a visit, even if a couple of dishes didn't quite live up to past memories. just keep in mind the $15/person no-show fee if you book through open table--confirm your plans before reserving!

Yelp
Per se? Perfection. Social corner? More like centre stage. This is Per Se Social Corner, a Michelin recommended restaurant that I have passed by on countless occasions and only recently had the pleasure of visiting. My friends and I all ordered a good ol' classic: Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict ($24). It was truly one of the best eggs benedicts I have ever had. What sets Per Se Social Corner's version apart is its use of fresh artisanal ciabatta, roasted potato rounds, and zesty heritage greens. I normally see English muffins or croissants used, with diced potatoes or a lightly dressed salad as an accompaniment or add-on. This dish however had it all and everything was executed perfectly, including the exquisite soft-medium poached eggs and rich hollandaise sauce. While prices verge on the higher side, the quality speaks for itself and I would come back again just for this dish alone. Not only that, but the service we received was also incredible. We were here for my friend's birthday, and as a surprise, brought her favourite pastries. There was no cake fee and our server kindly provided plates and offered to take a group picture for us. They also accommodated dietary restrictions (no added salt) and provided ketchup and both chili oil and flakes upon request. Since we came at opening, there was no wait, but reservations can easily be made online and is recommended during busier times. There was another table nearby celebrating a birthday, so Per Se Social Corner really is the social spot to be for a special occasion or just a special treat. It has a rustic contemporary feel, elevated by its high ceilings, floor to ceiling windows, dimly lit chandeliers, contemporary bar, artisanal pizza station, and cozy patio.

Yelp
Per Se is known for a lot of things, but one of them is their burger which is touted by a lot of locals as one of the best burgers they've ever tried - thought I would put that to the test for myself and see if it really is as delicious as everyone says. First and foremost: The Burger comes with beef, melted fontina cheese, caramelized onions, brioche bun and truffle aioli as well as your pick of fries/salad/etc. I definitely felt like the burger needed some sort of vegetable like lettuce and tomatoes or even lettuce by itself, with the addition of those caramelized onions and truffle aioli it made the burger a little greasy and overly sweet which I feel like a little veggie action would've cut that down a little + added some crunch factor. The beef was definitely tasty and cooked nicely, but all in all it's an okay burger that was tasty just not CRAZY or blow my mind spectacular.. especially at a price of $36. Service was great though, server checked in a couple times and made sure our water was always filled. Even topped up our coke for us after we drank up the first one without having to ask (refills are free!). And you can't knock on the ambiance, the restaurant itself is extremely pretty and has a old school London-esque bar vibe. 3/5 - Restaurant is nice, but food is definitely overpriced for what it is and how it tastes. Could definitely just go to Bin4 and get the same tasting burger for far less, but if you want the vibes and drinks at a nice bar then it's not so bad.

Yelp
Came in on a Tuesday night, it looked busy enough that we were glad to gave a reservation. Honestly was surprised this place was on the michelin guide. The only unique thing about them was that their pizza came out whole and you need to cut it yourself with ikea scissors. It got old very quickly, I'd prefer it just coming out already cut. We got the fungi pizza, boga boga, and the truffle fries. The pizza was good and I liked that you can see the big pizza ovens they use so you know it's fresh. Again, better if it came cut instead of using scissors. Also $4 for arugula is a crazy up-charge. The fries were alright, nothing special, but not bad. The boga boga was the prize of the night. The broth was flavorful, but light. I loved the seafood, it tasted fresh and cooked perfectly. I liked seeing the different sizes of everything, it felt like it was from a fresh catch. However our server was pretty off putting. She was training someone and the trainee did a lot better job of being welcoming and friendly. Every time she checked on the table she didn't just approach normally, she came in from the side and I'd get a face full of just her eyes. She also gave us the wrong check, gave the other table our check, and went up to a different table for our boxes. Genuinely put off by the server to not want to come back.

Yelp
Was here for a birthday last week, and it was a great experience. The music and the vibe of the restaurant is awesome. The caesar salad and the garlic flatbread came out first and the flatbread was nothing special it was just bread with seasoning on it. The Caeser salad was okay, but I would go with another option next time. The pizza was definitely the best food I had there it was a pepperoni pizza with hot honey on it. It tasted fresh and had a unique taste to it. It was one of the best hot honey pepperoni pizza's I've had in a while.

Yelp
I went to Per Se Social Corner for the first dinner of my vacation in Vancouver. Safe to say that it set a high standard for restaurants to come! Me and my family were seated on the patio, which was surprisingly nice and covered in gorgeous, sprawling plant life. Our waiter was very kind to us, giving me a drink suggestion and even recommending spots to explore and activities to see to us. I got the Megdalioni al Tartufo e Fughi, which was a delightfully presented stuffed mushroom and cheese pasta, served with a garnish of lovely little sprouts that were a nice addition to the texture of the dish. The highlight of my night had to be the drink our server recommended, the Spring Spritz, a non alcoholic gin, raspberry oleo, and lemon sparkling mocktail. It was such a wonderful surprise of flavor. I had never tasted gin, so when I took the first sip I was surprised to taste a warm botanical spice mixed with a bright fruity citrus. It complimented my dinner so well. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone coming to Vancouver. It's got wonderful food and an amazing, chic vibe with kind staff.

Yelp
When we booked Per Se, based on a recommendation, I had no idea it was Michelin Guide listed. I reviewed their adjacent coffee spot, Ciclo a while ago, and wondered what the restaurant would be like... now I know. Great location at Smithe and Homer, our group arrived on a rainy evening but that didn't deter a good number of parties from dining outside on their cozy patio. From the moment we arrived staff was helpful and friendly, we were quickly ushered to our table. From start to finish our dinner was great. I and 2 others ordered the Per Se Caesar. I added chicken - my friends salmon, with a side of sourdough. Rigatoni Bolognese was also enjoyed along with Prosecco, sparkling water and a draft beer. They have a large pizza oven and open kitchen on the west side of the building. Meal did not feel rushed, service was attentive and helpful. While we kept it light without dessert, we saw several delicious treats pass by. Despite being a really big room with high ceilings, you don't feel lost, quite the contrary, the space felt cozy. Prices a moderate considering downtown location. I feel it was good value.
google avatar

Yelp
Nice ambiance. Sat at the bar. Drinks and bartender were top notch. Food, pasta and salad only so so. Prices a little steep. However I would return to sit at the bar again due to the attentive bartender.
google avatar

Ishan G.

Yelp
The pizzas were amazing and ambience was top notch. Service was exceptional even when the restaurant was full with the server kindly helping with the wine pairing as well as sauces for the filet mignon we had. Definitely recommend if you are in Vancouver and want to have a good night out with friends or a date.

Yelp
Great ambiance, food and service . As first course we had the goat cheese salad ( delicious) and tomato soup which was awesome, with none of that acidic taste you normally get on tomato creams. And it came with the in-house made flat breads which are a thing of beauty. Then we ordered the burger. Here , opinions diverged. I found it too saturated with cheese and caramelized onions which made the burger feel sweet , as if embalmed in jam of some sort. Since the brioche was also sweet, the whole thing felt too heavy and clogging for me. I'm partial to some lettuce or freshness inside the burger to cut the grease . The dessert was ok , the sherbet was the only possible route after the heavy burger . The tiramisu could use a tad more coffee and less chocolate powder . We had a Blanca sangria which was not sangria but tasted great. The gin tonics were top shelf Bombay and fever tree tonic. The service was excellent and the ambiance was ok with the exception of the somewhat clunky , somewhat uncomfortable tall chairs in the dining room . Probably I'd return and skip the famous burger .

Ollie S.

Yelp
Me and my tablemates were seated outdoors, and it was nice and quiet out there because the outdoor seating is on Homer st not Smithe. For our appetizers we had the patatas bravas and the beef carpaccio. The patatas bravas was quite good, and the beef carpaccio was the best beef carpaccio I've ever had. I got the cacio e pepe with braised beef for my entree, and it was fantastic. Simple, yet with a very specific twist from this restaurant. The pasta is handmade, and that's definitely reflected in its taste. My tablemates had the paella, and they greatly enjoyed it. I had a bite of the chicken and thought it was fantastic; perfectly cooked and juicy and with just the right amount of spice.

Christian S.

Yelp
If you want a really awesome and huge burger, inside juicy but outside crispy, providing an orgy of flavours in your mouth, but all that without making the bun soggy, then you will be at the right place. Absolute perfection. Believe me, I know my food and I have tried many places in Vancouver, but the burger here is the best in town bar none. And the truffle fries are amazing, also the best I ever had, and the sauce that comes with them! Not cheap but worth every penny.

Yelp
The ambiance is everything. Overall I am extremely impressed by the food and the service of the bar staff. They are all incredibly kind and make a badass espresso martini!

Yelp
Wow!! Super impressed with the quality of food here. My husband and I shared the goat cheese ball salad and it was perfect. We also shared the Carbonera pizza!! It was so delicious!! Perfect dough, wood fired and amazing ingredients!! I have to say there is no kid menu, however my kids are somewhat adventurous. They got the tappas lobster/crab ravioli. And the tomato soup. They were happy with those choices. We ordered the Nutella, banana and almond pizza for our table. We all loved it!! It was topped with a vanilla gelato! Amazing!! Highly recommended!!

Yelp
This is a Michelin rated restaurant and is very nice, but you can still roll in with jeans and a T-shirt and feel ok. The prices reflect the rating and the food was pretty good. We ordered two salads to start - next time, we will split one as they were very large. The croutons on the Caesar were awesome, and the fried goat cheese balls on the other salad were heavenly! We shared a pepperoni pizza which had a base of chili honey. So good. You have to appreciate that fabulous crust, and yes, you cut it with scissors. So good. Service was top-notch. Pricey, but overall a great experience.

Yelp
Hands down the best burger I've ever tried! The flavors at Social Corner are unmatched, and the presentation was incredible. Can't wait to come back and try more from their menu. Highly recommend!

Katherine N.

Yelp
Place looks amazing with great music and lighting. Unfortunately rating the food/drinks and the service is going to be quite low. Pizza was quite soggy. The rigatoni was undercooked. The only good dish we had was the burger with an added fois gra. Our server, bless his heart, but he was just not it. Water was never refilled unless we asked for it. He forgets our food order and when asked for something, it'll take a long time for it to come. Asking for the bill and Togo box took longer than the food to come out. Drinks were mediocre at best. Would I come back? Nope, not even consider it.
google avatar

Yelp
The aesthetics here are beautiful. Good location. Was seated quickly upon arrival. The cocktails were great. The meal very very good. I can say my husband loved his burger. The goat cheese salad was fantastic. My gnocchi didn't feel home made (I can't be certain) but were good. My only issue was we were often reminded our reservation was for 1.5 hours only. I didn't care for that but overall great spot.
google avatar

Kristen P.

Yelp
Been here twice, the pizza is good; wood-fired oven with delicious flavor options. The massive appetizer is a must and enough to share with the table. A bit pricey for what they offer but it's Yaletown. Trendy ambience and can be a loud if trying to have a conversation.

Yelp
My friend booked a reservation here on our trip to Vancouver and I was excited to see that it was a Michelin restaurant. The ambiance was pretty fancy, the lights are dim here so I imagine it would've been a good date night spot. We ordered their Rigatoni Bolognese and Pepperoni E Ricotta Pizza and were underwhelmed by both. The pasta in the rigatoni was very undercooked but when we told the server, she said that's how it's supposed to taste as it's made fresh in house... I'd like to think I at least know the difference between cooked, al dente, and undercooked but okay. The meat on the dish was okay, nothing special and got sickening after a while. The pizza was better but really nothing stood out about it either. My friend and I ordered these two dishes here because we ordered rigatoni and pizza at Nightingale a few days before and wanted to compare, but the dishes here do not even compete. Maybe we didn't order what they're known for here, which I'm not sure what is if anything. Either way, I wouldn't come back nor recommend this place to anyone who's curious.

Yelp
A great experience! Kudos to our server, so polite and great service. Food was delicious and definitely, I will go back. Love the high ceilings and decoration. Chairs are too noisy when moved. The volume of the music is perfect, allowing us to have a conversation around the table, which makes it a nice place for a celebration.

Yelp
When you go out for an evening to dine, what are you craving for? Great atmosphere? Great Food? Great Service? Great Menu? Well.....we got that all here. The environment was actually stunning. It was tasteful, classy, chic and vibrant. Their bar is impressive and their food is creative and tasty. The Calamari was prepared the way Calamari is supposed to be prepared and unfortunately rarely is these days....but these guys got it down to a science. Fresh squid with the right proportion of batter, so the crisp accompanies the seafood and not the other way around. You taste the beautiful Squid with a light finish of batter paired with grilled jalapeno and two dips that were....well...bloody delicious. The Charred Chorizo with pita....what can I say about this beauty....just try it. Now for the Truffle Fries. Do you like Truffle fries? Well.....they serve the real ones here. I've ordered them in several other places in Yaletown and they failed. They served me regular fries sprinkled some oregano on top, charged me for truffle fries and that was it. With these guys ..you get Truffle Fries. The service was impressive. We were always take care of on a Saturday evening. Cassie was great and we also had other staff being attentive, coming by and making sure all is well. Smiles, hard work, attention and appreciation with wonderful food and a bar that doesn't compromise. What else could you ask for on a Saturday evening out?! Will be back.

Yelp
Went here for friend's birthday. Aesthetically this place is so beautiful! Our server was so attentive and the best! I secretly told him it was my friends birthday and they decorated the tiramisu so beautifully. That was also good by the way... the food was great! Loved the seafood. The only thing I wouldn't get again is the cacio e pepe pasta.

Yelp
Dined here on a recent trip to Vancouver for my fiancés birthday. We really enjoyed the food and ambiance. The staff were very welcoming and warm. My fiancé keeps raving about how delicious and well put together her wagyu burger was. I ordered the veggie pizza which was amazing. I would definitely recommend and dine here again if ever in Vancouver!

Yelp
I went here with a small group and for drinks and an appetizer. Everything was top notch. Our server was so friendly and attentive, cocktails were fantastic (a little pricey as to be expected) and the quality and vibe were great.

Yelp
We had an incredible time at per se, and it started off with our Amazing server who was a fellow parent of a young child and knew how important it was that we were going for one of our first date nights. He started off with giving us free champagne to celebrate And we had the amazing burgers they're so decadent and buttery and tasteful. Also, the people next to us have pizza and they make it fresh at the restaurant and they have people spinning the dough in front of you and they said that it was amazing as well.

Yelp
Came by for brunch on Friday - they have their brunch menu available on weekdays before 2pm! Got seated right away and had extremely attentive service. I had the Spanish breakfast ($19). It was super tasty and the perfect portion. The chorizo sausage had the perfect amount of spice and went so well with the lime mint yoghurt. My friend had the brasato beef eggs Benedict ($18) and the portions were massive! We had the raspberry chocolate mousse for dessert and it was the perfect way to end our meal.

Yelp
I'm adding Per Se Social Corner to my favourite list of restaurants! I went for girls night here and we all had a blast -- specially because our table was beside the pizza station and we got to watch them hand toss pizza dough over and over again. Overall, its a beautiful restaurant and atmosphere. I ordered the Funghi pizza $27 and added arugula. I also tried the Patron Xo Tiramisu $14 I tend to not like restaurant tiramisu because they are either too sweet or heavy! This was neither! This might just be the best restaurant tiramisu I've had in Vancouver. Give it a try and let me know what you think Also, We all liked our orders except for our friend who had the Lobster & Crab Ravioli $37 Will be back to try more dishes :)

Yelp
This restaurant is deleting my poor review off yelp. Look at my screenshot. It was a very poor experience and I have posted a yelp review which seem to have been deleted.

Yelp
This place is 10/10, good food and drinks. I'd recommend the wagyu beef carpaccio and the pizza. If you like your whiskey this is the spot for a good old fashion as well as trying the cranberry penicillin. The bar tender was attentive and knew his stuff, great ambience and price is right for a Michelin guide restaurant for the 3rd year in a row.

Yelp
I hate to say this, but that was one disappointing Mother's Day dinner. In one word.... meh. Service was good as was the ambiance. However, the rigatoni was undercooked. Just 1 minute longer in the water, and it would have actually reached al dente. Ravioli was better than the rigatoni. However, they just place the food on the plate and call it a day. There is nothing about this way of plating that merits the prices. Not a spring of green, not a small of slice of bread...nothing. Worst part.... the mice. That only added to my disappointment in this place.

Yelp
I came for dinner as a party of 2 on a Sunday night. Maybe I lucked out on the few things we ordered. Charcuterie board for 2 - good selection, comes with fresh flatbread. solid 4/5. Beets and Burrata - this is basically a beet salad with burrata. This was excellent. Burrata was nice and soft inside, luscious and creamy. 4.5/5. Diavola pizza - excellent dough and sauce, overall a tad salty. 4.5/5. The highlight was Kayla our server. Friendly, not overbearing, and overall just fabulous. Service is an easy 5/5. The space is comfortable and nice. No complaints. Im not sure they are Michelin level, but they are good. The Michelin ratings and stars in vancouver are a bit of a joke anyway. But true to its namesake, this is a nice place to socialize over some food. I didnt try any of their drinks, but thats the plan for next time.

Yelp
The place has a nice atmosphere, good food, friendly staff, and fantastic cocktails. But the service was very slow. It took 45 minutes to get our dinner.

Yelp
Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Even though it was my first time visiting this place, the staff provided a great service and welcoming atmosphere. Regarding the food it was amazing (every detail counted). And the ambiance of the place was very pleasant and clean, the music was on point.
