Sebastopol keeps getting better and better I swear! Phenomenal bakery/cafe everything is made in house and from scratch. The kitchen is tiny but mighty! So much flavor, love and freshness goes into everything they create. Love the atmosphere and total ambiance here!!! The vibe is so relaxing and chill. Thanks for an amazing experience Society Bakery and Cafe! Your staff rocks😎🤘🏼 will 110% be back❤️

wow first time here. We decided to have a BLT and that was the best sandwich ever. From the bread, veggie and especially the BACON. We will drive back up here to eat another. Everyone super nice and lots of varieties especially the deserts. Thank you!

The first time I went I was surprised by all the gluten free pastry items and do not go out of my way to buy things that are gluten free. I got the lemon loaf cake and it was the best pastry I’ve had! The next time I went in and I read the sign that it was actually gluten free too and I was astonished. I don’t know how they make it so fluffy and buttery, definitely my favorite item!!! The coffee is great although I wouldn’t say it’s anything super special. Just regular cafe vibes. They even have a rewards program which I was shocked because not all small businesses do that. The atmosphere is amazing!! While the parking lot is a little annoying, once you’re inside there is so much to look at. The jams they sell are also spectacular. I got the blackberry basil jam and it was so unique and very yummy. The staff is also very sweet and kind. I took my brother into the store who has a developmental disability and the lady helping us was so patient and kind. She asked him if he liked the drink and was very sweet to us. I will definitely be coming back again and again.

This bakery truly exceeded all expectations! I ordered two cakes just a week before a surprise party, sharing some photos as inspiration, and they absolutely delivered. The cakes looked incredible, capturing every detail perfectly. And the taste? Unbelievable! It was some of the best cake I’ve ever had, with rich, flavorful frosting that was simply delicious. This place made our celebration extra special with their amazing work!

I’ve been going to this adorable shop for several years now. It was one of my favorite lunch spots when I worked close by. The sandwiches are excellent and the pastries are delicious. The staff there is always fabulous and goes the extra mile. Highly recommend this spot

Amazing GF bakery! Probably the best I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting. The gf pumpkin cheesecake roll was to die for! OMG! I might have dreams about it. Then it was a toss up between the gf hummingbird cake (tastes like banana bread) and the gf earl grey/lavender cake. I tried the gf buttermilk lemon loaf too, my fiancé enjoyed it. As a person who misses baked sweets, this place was absolutely heaven. Also, the ladies who work here are so nice and they even let us taste test a few items before buying. If you are in the area, stop here, it’s soooooooo worth it.

Soooo good! Hard to find gluten free pastries, and if you do, they're generally second rate. This place is at least 50% gluten free, and they're amazing! Fluffy and wonderful texture. The apple coffee cake was gone before I knew it. The pumpkin cake and lemon cake were heavenly. Loved everything.

Really baffled at how this place has a 4.9 rating. The food options are pretty basic, nothing you can't make easily at home and nothing special about them. While waiting for our food, I frequently heard a microwave open, closing, dinging, etc. There is a good variety of baked goods if you're gluten free by choice but not if you have celiac as they have a small kitchen and non-GF options so cross contamination is definitely occurring. Since there is no disclosure about what is being used in place of wheat flour, I opted for a cookie. Which was good but surprisingly soft. Coffee was gross. Regular coffee was very weak. Espresso was very bitter. Grossly over extracted. A double shot (roughly 3-4oz) took up roughly half of a 12 ounce cup. Thus my general rule of "if the cappuccino is offered with sizes, the coffee is going to be bad" continues to be true

This cafe tucked away in the antique society is definitely a hidden gem! The food is yummy, and all of the staff is super friendly. My sister looks forward to this blt every time we are in the area. The treats in the bakery are equally as yummy, and I love the Bischoff s'mores they sell. Prices are very reasonable as well. Only wish they were open on Sundays!

This is a super cute, though very tiny cafe inside Society Antiques. I was pleasantly surprised that they have many gluten-free items. I ordered the crust-less spinach, mushroom, and cheddar quiche, as well as four of the gluten-free pastries (pumpkin maple cake, cinnamon apple coffee cake, a humming bird cake, and an earl grey/lavender cake). Also, I ordered the French toast latte, maple and cinnamon. So good. They do have a lovely eating area outside. The staff was friendly and helpful.

If you're visiting the antique store (or the area in general) you have to stop here for a warm drink and a pastry! When I walked in, the cafe was cozy and beautifully decorated for the holidays. My coffee and pastry were delicious, and I will definitely have to come back and work my way through the pastry case!

Not sure why it's rated so high. The quality was not amazing in my opinion . I can't pin it on anything specific but the drink and pastry was not great.

WOW!!! The best Peach Iced Matcha I have tried! This bakery and cafe is a hidden gem and a great place to grab a drink! The space is very intimate and tiny but they do offer outside seating. If you stop by, grab an iced peach matcha and walk around antique society!

Best Avocado toast EVER! Why haven't i been here before?! The service is lovely. Back to the avocado toast, rustic toast, smear of cream cheese, mounds of avocado, arugala and chili flake oil. Fresh and delicious. A brownie bit appeared on the side. Was it because I admired them. We will be back!

A small bakery and coffee shop, chairs inside and tables outside on the patio. The staff members were polite and friendly. They also have bakery made jams and meringues inside. Very aesthetically put together and a cute little spot to stop by.

Wonderful treats especially for anyone who needs to be GF! The GF is good enough that I order even though I am not GF. The sandwiches are generous sized and tasty. The coffee is tasty as well. There is nice garden seating but not a huge amount. The ones working are always so nice.

I decided to stop at this little place to get a sandwich because I had heard about it and have driven by it so many times. I got the grilled cheese sandwich I thought it good. It came with a small bite of brownie, which was nice and a little treat. It was rather small inside, but the outside area that you could eat at was cute, although a little noisy from the traffic. I enjoyed walking through the antique stores that were behind while waiting for my food. The staff was also very very friendly.

Great coffee and sandwiches!!! Good flavors and right amount of everything in the sandwiches with very good bread!!!

Love this place and all their sweet treats. The BLT is also one of my favorite sandwiches, the chipotle aioli with their sweet bacon is an amazing combo! I recently ordered a last minute birthday cake for my mom from them, carrot cake, it was so delicious and moist. I can't wait to order from them again!

The food was fabulous! I had the green enchilada soup with a grilled cheese! The soup was so good!!! Staff were friendly, and very helpful. I am also getting a quote on a custom cake. The owner responded almost instantly to my email. The service is just great. Testimonial is every seat was taken outside!!

Stopped by to look around the antique store, and never noticed this cute lil bakery off to the side that is accessible thru the main entrance. It smelled delightful in here and lots of homemade items to choose from. I got a slice of the quiche, which I didn't care for and ended up throwing most away, and also a molasses cookie that was good, but not great. I will try again and next time, maybe go for the bear claw.

I found some of the baked goods too sweet for my taste. However, I had the brie pesto sandwich and it was super!

The BEST bakery in all of Sonoma County! Their baked goods are out of this world, but currently I am hooked on the jams- more specifically the strawberry jalapeño one. I can't wait to come back and try some more of their goodies. I'm absolutely in love with this magical shop!

Finally trying this place and wish I had sooner. Great soup, sandwiches and sweets. Will be back!

This is the second time we made it out to Sebastopol for this great bakery: the first time we went was around thanksgiving time and were surrounded by pie orders. I was sad that I didn't reserve one. I will definitely reserve one this year. This time around it was Quiteria, but still busy. We got to sit inside. We ordered the peach pork. We got it with gluten free bread. We loved it. We also split the lemon raspberry pastry. That was so moist! My new favorite item. We almost forgot, but we got some dog treats! My dogs LOVED them. A one stop shop for a great treat!

Amazing bakery and sandwiches! This little local bakery and cafe has some of the best food in town. Great pastry's, awesome bread, refreshing drinks ( and great coffee) and an interesting menu that provides a lot of depth in the flavor department. Make sure to try the bourbon bacon on a sandwich!

I am so happy I found out about this gem in Sebastopol. Firstly, this place is magnificently set up for being so small and set in the front corner of Antique Society. I immediately fell in love with the Easter decorations and the packages of ready to buy sprinkles. Everything looks delicious from the get go. Secondly, service was amazing. The lady that helped us out at the counter was friendly and helpful in helping me make decisions about what to get. We ended up getting the peppermint latte, the mahalo cake, and a blueberry bun. Which leads me to point three that taste surpassed the look of everything. I thoroughly enjoyed everything we had gotten and the atmosphere here. I will be back soon to try even more!

This croissant was sooo good! The bacon is candied and has a sweet and salty flavor that just brings everything together so nicely. Sweet, salty,spicy, peppery flavors all combine perfectly. This sandwich made me happy :D. I had their pumpkin maple cake and cruffin as well, both were delicious!

My favorite local bakery to go to. Everything here is beautifully crafted and delicious! This place also has my favorite chai--the Jenna Chai latte :)

It was our first time inside the "open" bakery with several attempts prior. So glad they were open today! Tried the chocolate croissant, lemon cake (gf) and cinnamon bun. They were all delicious with my favorite being the gluten-free lemon cake with frosting. They serve a variety of hot drinks including a special chai with lavender honey syrup that they make in-house! Yum! Carrie was kind enough to let us taste the chai and the syrup prior to deciding. Thank you for that service! There were a few cozy seating inside the store with plenty of outdoor seating in front of the Antique Society business. We heard that you can even take your drink and food inside the Antique store while you peruse the plethora of mid-century artifacts! (I believe these are separate entities and only share a name!) If you want any home-made special jam or wrapped treats (think rice crispy treats dipped in chocolate!) they have those too! Can't wait to try their other items on the menu (or specials) -- like potato leek soup with grilled cheese.

We go to Antique Society all the time and have purchased baked goods from this bakery in the past. They've always been great. Today, we decided to have lunch there and we got the Porky Peach sandwich and the Chipper Chicken Sandwich. Both were truly amazing with so much flavor and interesting ingredients that I never would have thought to put together. Mmmmmmm so good. You gotta try this place!

Have never ate here but decided to order off doordash today and I'm so glad I did!! So nicely packaged up with cute paper and stickers! I got two sandwiches a bottled lemonade and a brownie. Everything was super yummy! They even threw in a thank you cookie! Just wanted to say thank you to this business and workers, I have never gotten a Togo this thoughtful packaged up. These little details really impressed me. I will absolutely be going in soon!

I wandered in here on a break from work. I had heard rumors about this place and am so glad I tried it. I got the BLT sandwich and the Hazelnut Chocolate Raspberry Mocha. The drink is decadent. Not too sweet and full of layers of flavors that end with a raspberry finish. The BLT was thick with bourbon bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado, and a spicy chipotle aioli. Absolutely delicious and the bacon was perfect. The aioli is truly spicy and I love a spot that doesn't shy away from real bite with spice. It wasn't overwhelming. The bread was delicious! And the sandwich was HUGE. There were lots of fun goodies to look at in their store and I bought their double gold medal habanero peach jam. I asked if it was truly spicy and was told "oh yes!" I am stoked to try it with some cream cheese and crackers later. There are BEAUTIFUL resin cutting boards for sale. I am going to come back for one of those. They're absolutely gorgeous. The service was superb and a piece of brownie was provided with the sandwich. The perfect sweet bite after the killer sandwich. I'll be back, a lot.

There were so many options and I wanted to try everything but I settle on the porky peach sandwich. Brie, apples, arugula, bacon and a habenero jam. The jam was a little spicy for me so I had to take some off but the flavor was so yummy. The bourbon bacon is SO good and i would of loved to have another slice on my sandwich, 2 slices just wasn't enough. My husband ordered avocado toast and a breakfast croissant and had no complaints. We also came home with 2 apples turnovers, some berry pastry and a chocolate croissant. I enjoyed my apple turnover but I like mine a little more crisper . I will be going back. I want to order the same sandwich but maybe ask for a different jam. I should try something else but I truly enjoyed the porky peach.

I loved this place! Their grilled cheese sandwiches and savory pastries are so yummy! Perfect stop to pick up some baked goodies for a nice picnic. Excited to come back and try their sweet options, the cake slices and cookies look so yummy!

Hope the disgruntled few will take their angry business elsewhere. The cafe owners and staff work incredibly hard to produce so much delicious pastry, so many delicious savory soups, salads, sandwiches, and yummy preserves and other packaged items. We locals and the Antique Society dealers and customers are so lucky to have such a charming little cafe. Many thanks to them for making so many so happy.

I love their decorated sugar cookies, they taste the best in the county and actually have flavor! and of course they are also beautiful. We also love their brownies, sandwiches, and other baked goods. A hidden gem in Sebastopol with a few tables outside to enjoy your meal.

I can't say enough good about this place. The gluten-free stuff is just mind blowing. And the customer service, wonderful. I wish they would just come to my house and cook for me.

I met the owners up in Cloverdale at their booth at the Citrus Fair. Their desserts were amazing and they were lovely people. I bought 2 cakes from them for my niece's graduation. One was off their menu and the other was a special combination of flavors she requested. Both were phenomenal (and I'm not usually a cake eater!) Three layers, delicious icing and filling. They tasted like the absolute best homemade cake you ever had. Nothing like what you buy from other bakeries or grocery stores. Every single person at the party complimented them. Society is now my 'go-to' place for cakes.

Have been buying a cookie or two over the years as we went to the antique mall. For some reason I don't remember actually getting pastries there. That was a mistake. They were fresh and wonderful . They also served fresh delicious iced tea which needs no sweetener. If you go to the antique mall or just have a sweet tooth craving drop by you won't be disapointed.

Best sandwiches, best pastries, best service in town. Feels like it's made with love.

Love this place. Great staff, amazing pastries, 5 star sandos, dog friendly, and I can walk there from my house! 5 stars. Amazing addition to the area. The only bad thing is that the pastries are so good that I am afraid I'm going to get addicted and gain 20 lbs so I have to use restraint

We had traveled 2 hours and stopped here on a fluke and man were we pleased!! The best carrot cake I have ever had in my life!! We also shared the Mahalo Cake and it was so moist an delicious and not overly sweet. Their goodies were so good we had to go back in and purchase a variety of there other goodies to take home. Definitely a five star stop

The food and baked goods are ALWAYS on point. I've had a few lunches here and I love the gluten-free options. Today was grilled-cheese with broccoli-cheddar soup combo, really big serving so you get your money's worth and really delicious. The ingredients are always fresh and wholesome. I believe a lot of it organic - don't quote me though. As you can see from the photos, it isn't an ordinary grilled-cheese, they jazz up even the most simple of dishes. They always include a bit-sized pastry with meal, todays brownie bite was delicious! The ladies are lovely, owner is very kind, great customer service! The road is VERY dangerous and busy though, so be careful getting in, and parking is limited. We never have an issue though, just be aware! Definitely a favorite!

The mouth-drooling aromas wafting around the entrance to Antique Society were too tempting to pass up. The caprese sandwich with mozzarella, tomato, spinach and pesto was delizioso! Also picked out 3 different cookies. Everything was so good and nice to share alfresco on a gorgeous sunny day. Pete provided excellent customer service and while it's set up like a take out venue, Pete brought our food out to us. I hesitate to write glowing reviews to selfishly preserve well-kept secrets, but this place is too good not to share. Mangia!

Wonderful German Chocolate Cake, perfect texture just the right amount of sweetness! Terrific presentation

Went for their GF selections and was blown away! Honestly you could not tell that weren't GF. In fact, he who has Celiacs was certain I was trying to kill him - was SO GOOD!!! Got the GF lemon loaf and GF pineapple upside cake which received rave reviews. Also got some dog treats and all the dogs gobbled them up and wanted more. The staff is super friendly and way to helpful in making certain you leave with more than you need but won't complain about because it is all yummy. The display was bright and full and the location is just charming. Seriously this is a hidden treasure. Such a calm and comfortable atmosphere.

What an huge addition and improvement to the Antique Society property. While there was a bakery here before, it paled in comparison to the new owners. Excellent sweet and savory items, very affordable prices and gluten free options! Some seating inside, but also outside seating while your contemplate your next acquisition. The lemon loaf cake was moist, so good. This is really a great location and sorely needed respite to fuel your antique road trip.

What a great spot! Friendly staff and great service! But mostly...THE FOOD! We have stopped for coffee and pastries...5 star! But today we went for lunch! We had the black bean sweet potato soup and grilled cheese and the Brie/pesto sandwich!!! SO DELICIOUS! And the bread from the local French bakery...nothing compares! Can't wait to try EVERYTHING on the menu!!

They have the best brownies ever! We got two sandwiches which were loaded with tons of chicken. A great deal for the price!

Delicious! I had the Porky Peach sandwich and it was amazing. It is on great bread (not sure what kind) and has a good amount of everything inside, including the gooey Brie! Plus it is perfectly spicy with the peach habanero jam. I can't wait to go back and try more things!

Peach habanero jam was terrific! We used that on top of our goat Brie and warmed it in the oven till melts and gooey. Delicious!

I ordered a carrot cake for my birthday. It's was delicious! To my surprise there were no raisins in it, and I was VERY happy and ok with that. Moist, not too sweet, it was perfect. Great price point. I will definitely be ordering cakes from them again. Thank you!!
