Very nice outdoor experience! 🍸 🍹 The Mimosas were fresh and citrussy! 😊 We had brunch prior to our arrival. No food was purchased at the event.

Awesome venue. Went to see Will Mosely there and we had a great time. Looking forward to going back.

Great for families with kids. Lots of them here. Good beer selection and good food. Lots of space for people. I personally like a more adult experience so I doubt I'll be back. Had to come back for a birthday party. Earlier in the day was much better with less drunk folks not paying attention to their kids or dogs.

Went on with the wife on a little road trip and read about this place. They had a food truck, bar, and multiple seating areas. There was a band out of 4 that were scheduled to play, got to listened to 2 before started pouring, btw, there was a $20 each to get in that weekend. But overall, great atmosphere, every one was friendly, very spacious. We'll come here again if we're in the area. Also, pet friendly, that was a plus for us.

Such an amazing venue and one of the best non-alcoholic bloody Marys I've ever had! Highly highly recommend!

Great local place to enjoy a few drinks. Plenty of seating both inside and out, and great service! Skye was a great bartender, we will be back soon!

Google
This is a great place to hang out and listen to local music. They have a food truck but I've not tried it. I just get a pizza from next door for the table. Drinks are great and bartenders are knowledgeable about the different beers.

Google
Gave one star for food because their website had not been updated and it showed a menu for associated company's barbecue however when we arrived and they told us that they no longer had food available, only drinks. However they were very apologetic about that And they waved the $5 cover charge for listening to the music program that was being presented Also one of the bartenders compted me two soft drinks due to the situation with the Website not being Updated. The whole area was nice with a stage area with table seating , two fire pits , very good sound and lots of interesting things to see as far as decorations. Inside of the building was very interestingly designed and decorated. All the employees were very friendly and helpful. When we arrived and were told about there not being any food available we're advised that the pizza place " Ingleside village pizza" next door had very good pizza and we would be allowed to bring our pizza over Society Garden and eat it.All in all a very nice place to sit and listen to live music

Yelp
The Society Garden is a cool, hip place to check out some live music and grab a drink or two (perhaps even three drinks). We were there to check out a band and dug the all-around atmosphere and the service was good and only enhanced the all-around good time. They have a great selection of craft beers to pick from and the total experience was pretty awesome. This place definitely deserves five stars.

Yelp
I have no opinion on the place - I've heard nothing but good things.... Until the owner Brad Evans and my conversation..... check the screenshots. I omitted nothing... of course he's blocked me after this conversation.... Interesting... I hope I've posted these chronically...

Yelp
Let me start by saying this place is truly beautiful. As soon as you walk down the stairs it feels like you've been transported to a secret place. LOVE THAT. This was my first time here and we went for the Tequila & Tacos event. The entire space is massive. I didn't realize that outside wasn't the only space, there's a "hidden room" behind a bookshelf as well as an indoor bar / seating area and another outside seating area. I really enjoyed the environment with the live music & food trucks giving a variety of options to choose from. We ordered the tequila tasting & also the margarita tower. 10/10 for both of those. The bartender we spoke to was very helpful in explaining the drink deals and helping us choose what to get. Our drinks were made quickly and we found a nice seat by the stage to listen to the music. The band was great, really enjoyed them. We also decided to try out 3 of the food options. We ordered chips, salsa & queso from the stand by the bar. When the woman packed the sauces into the bag the tops weren't secure and the queso spilled to the bottom of the bag. I asked my fiancé to go back up and ask for it to be replaced but when he did the woman wasn't up there. So we made the best of that & just ripped the bag open & ate them how they were. Next, we ordered a chicken quesadilla from a tent on the side and asada tacos from a different truck. The tacos took about 10 minutes while the quesadilla took about 45, honestly maybe longer. The tacos were alright, nothing spectacular but they weren't nasty. For the size of the meat they could've used more cilantro and onions on top. But taste I'd give a 6/10. We noticed a line of people waiting for food forming at the quesadilla tent and since we still hadn't received ours I asked my fiance to go ask about it. About 10minutes late ours came out. I can't give a rating on food because we left shortly after that & just took the quesadilla home. Overall we had a great experience here with the drinks & music. And will definitely be returning for date night.

Yelp
Pretty much the coolest place in Macon. Can't make you believe it until you see it. Friends....

Yelp
Great venue! We went for the beer / Girl Scout pairing event. It was really well done! The service was great and the ambiance was perfect. I haven't been to a concert here, but I can see where it would be pretty enjoyable.

Yelp
Decided to check this place out. It was a hot day, yet I decided to get some fresh air and sit outside by the fan. This place is huge with plenty of seating, 2 bars, and delicious drinks. I decided to try a mocktail, and it was yummy. Touch of grapefruit and gingerbeer. The bartender was super friendly and pleasant. They had a 70s theme party, but I left before that started. I can't wait to visit again and play a few board games or sit inside.

Yelp
Came here to hang out with friends, and it turned out that they were cooperating with Satterfield's BBQ, which was providing food. I ordered a pint of Tropicalia, a crisp, light IPA whose taste is redolent of grapefruit juice. To eat, I got two carnitas tacos and some Mexican-style street corn. The food came to the table super-quickly, and service at the bar was likewise swift. My beer got more than an inch of head, so the bartender gave me another glass with a little more beer in it. The tacos were delicious, although I must be honest that they were pulled pork rather than true carnitas. Still quite delicious. So too was the street corn. Outstanding food, outstanding service. Definitely recommend.

Yelp
Not family friendly kids aren't monitored by parents(they were at first). Just hope when you go there are less than 8 kids and parents are paying attention to them. Slide in middle of venue with rocks. No kid slushees or other refreshments. Food options for kids were lacking as well. Such a great concept little family music venue, hopefully fine tune some.

Yelp
7.17.21 Society Garden is a fun, hippy, hodgepodge of exterior & interior spaces: the big courtyard overflowing w/ kids, families & couples, where they feature live music...& then little seating areas so you can have a romantic moment or catch up on the dirt with an old friend. Lots of chill energy & good vibes, as others have mentioned. On the Saturday night I went, The Merry Steel performed + a chick on the gi-tar rocking out when Merry took a long assssss break - perfect for a Saturday night! Every other table was scarfing down pizza from next door's Ingleside Village Pizza. And now SG hosts Satterfields BBQ inside so you can chow on their delishness. As far as what to drink? It's marketed as a beer garden so every beer under the sun + their alcoholic slushies + top shelf whiskies from around the globe. I indulged in a yummy Pina Colada Slushee. Fortunately, a local brought me up to speed on the fascinating back story of this spot: it was actually "Society Gardener" for 40+ years! Maconites bought all their plants, gardening tools/accessories, fountains, etc. from this family-owned business. So to have it now be transformed into another community gathering place is super special for many who grew up shopping here with their Memaws. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
This place is super cute. Had a great selection of beers and wine to choose from. The heaters/fire set up make sitting outside even when it's cold pleasant. The inside was decorated so nicely for Christmas! However, i am BEGGING for someone who works there to clean the bathrooms. They smell horrible, they are not at all clean, and it gives the overall feeling of crack house. Which is such a shame because the rest of the place is really great.

Yelp
We seen several bands perform here and really like the outside atmosphere and location. They have one food truck/station setup and it's pretty good.
google avatar

Anita K.

Yelp
beautiful outdoor space, live music, slushies, what's not to love! Very casual and fun. I would have loved to check out the inside bar more but we got sucked into the outside bar and their different tabs. Staff was friendly, only had a slushie but it was pretty good, would definitely come back if I was in the area for good vibes and drinks!

Yelp
Thank you Society Garden for being a great event venue. We love your concept and commitment!
google avatar

Yelp
Pretty dope vibe. Live music. Unique Festivals. Could be so much better if there weren't kids running around EVERYWHERE. According to the sign children can be there until 9pm, however it was after 9pm and there were still quite a few there....running around. They've recently partnered with Satterfields BBQ for on site food options or you can always walk next door and grab a slice of pizza from Ingleside Village Pizza.

Yelp
This place has grown over the years from an outdoor space with a few outdoor TVs and wine slushies and canned/bottled beers to a full bar with cocktails and beers on tap with a multitude of social offerings. A vibrant music scene that also has food trucks regularly is a unique experience in the ingleside neighborhood.

Yelp
Very casual, eclectic and hip local beer garden. Enjoyable both inside and outside settings.

Yelp
Don't go here for the food, super expensive for super small portions. $15 for the nachos and $5-7 for the tacos and the margarita was $10.80 (after tax) which was basically a plastic solo cup of ice. The bartender inside was not friendly and the setup of the place was confusing for first time guests, as the food and drinks were in different areas.

Yelp
Very much enjoyed Society Garden of Macon. Such a beautiful and welcoming feel the moment you walk down. The drinks are great, the people are always friendly and the music is always good! Only negative I have is that I live too far away so I can't come and hang everyday like I would! LOL! 100% recommend! Bring your pup and enjoy a refresher, the views, and the music.

Yelp
Checked this place out the other night and was really impressed. Bartenders were friendly and walked us through the food truck, events coming up, and cool stuff to see in the area. The outdoor seating area is really cool and we really enjoyed every aspect of it except the gnats being out. We pivoted and took our food and drinks inside the indoor lounge and were greeted by more awesome employees. The ambiance is like a high end 70's Vegas cocktail lounge. This is a definite must checkout for their great staff, cool vibe, amazing food truck, and fun trivia night.

Yelp
Wonderful place for date nights. Love the atmosphere and live music. Not to mention the amazing drinks and fun people. I day dream about this place with my boyfriend. They have exotic drinks that are hard to find anywhere else. Would go here every week if I could.

Yelp
Nice out door place. Feels like someone's big backyard. There is a stage that has live music on the weekends. I was there on a Thursday and they were doing trivia night. Very kid and dog friendly. Friendly atmosphere. You can order food from the attached BBQ place. Decent selection of the more or less usual stuff with some unique items added to the mix. Great beer selection, canned and draft. Worth the stop if thirsty or hungry.

Yelp
Lovely spot for drunks and music. We really enjoyed this outside venue. Next time we are in Macon we definitely will be visiting this spot. Anazing!

Yelp
Loved this place ... good vibes, drinks and people. My first stop next time I'm in town again.

Madde P.

Yelp
Bar was very nice, the ambiance was great. However, Brooke (the bartender) was rude and had such an superiority attitude towards the customers. Would not go back.

Yelp
Came here for Oktoberfest. Pretty unique place! It is a very large outdoor 'garden-type' area with faux grass, plenty of seating, two bars, a hook and ring game and even corn hole? What! Ok so my little ones had a great time entertaining themselves without giving me a heart attack. That means we got to enjoy some great food and some of the best fall beer I've had in a while in Middle GA. Heard they have lots of live band performances too. Def pleasantly surprised and will be back on date night.

Yelp
I wanted to visit here when I was I town for the day, March 13, 2020. However, I never made it inside, because there was a $5 cover charge just to get past the entrance of an outside beer venue. I've visited beer gardens, taprooms, and breweries in every town I've gotten to visit and this is the first that I've been to that charged a cover fee for the privilege to go "inside" and order beer.

Tiffany K.

Yelp
Great drinks, great vibe, fun for our toddler too. Gets busy on trivia night so come early.

Casey G.

Yelp
This place is amazing. From the street, you'd never know that it was there, but when you walk through the little entrance, you are immediately overwhelmed by the pleasing atmosphere. There are dimly lit lights hanging throughout the venue, an all wooden bar the gives off a tree fort vibe that lines the left side, and seating on the right. They regularly have live music as well, which is always a plus. (Well, I take that back...not always!) There are several outdoor games for families to play, or for the kids. Yes, this place is kid friendly! Also pet friendly, but your pet should be leashed. It should be noted that they do not serve food, but there is a pizza place right next door that delivers. Our favorite local pizza place, in fact. (Ingleside Village Pizza) The only downfall is that if it's very crowded, we've had to wait on seating. Other than that, a very cool place to check out!

Yelp
Chill vibe with lots of outdoor space super dog friendly. We brought 3 pups with us & saw 4 more show up in the short time we were hanging out. Great beer selections, Sours, Cinders, crafts & specialities & more. There is a back area with ping pong & live music. Plus an indoor areas of the wether is not great. No food though, but Definitely recommend.

Yelp
Awesome location and beautiful venue. Definitely a nice addition to the macon night life. Dog and kid friendly and they always have interesting and new events planned.

Kris B.

Yelp
What a great spot- laughter, the clink of wine glasses, great local musicians, children playing, bringing food from Ingleside pizza next door, all outdoors. Love the grown-up swings at the end of the bar, how fun! Lots of seating - from chic, quieter conversation areas, to long, high tables with stools where 6 of us sang rollickingly along to the music. What a great place...in a town where this type of brilliantly imagined space is difficult to find. The bartenders are so professional, competent, warm, fun and friendly, too!
google avatar

Kelsey R.

Yelp
I love it here! This place reminds me of the outdoor bars in Brooklyn. It's super laid back and welcoming and I'd definitely call it "hip". The mist and fans are a must since it's so hot and humid here I don't know where else I'd even want to sit outside to "enjoy" myself!
google avatar

Mika L.

Yelp
This is probably my new favorite place to go. Especially in Macon where there aren't much choices except downtown. This vibe is awesome. The layout is awesome. And the music was awesome! The drinks were unique and I enjoyed the frozen drinks. I will most definitely be back!!!!

Yelp
Wife and I are big fans!! Best place for wine in Macon. Relaxing atmosphere. Great music!

Stacy R.

Yelp
We came here on a Sunday and had a great time. We didn't bring the kids but we will next time. It has a nice family atmosphere and the bar tender was great!

Tay T.

Yelp
Great atmosphere, great service, and great drinks! We have been many times now. Great for an afternoon drink or late night hangout. Bands are always fun and many people bring food down (especially from Ingleside Village Pizza). Highly recommend!
