Where to Eat Around Arizona State University

"Ever craved a pound of mussels after that late-night study session? Society, which opened in 2022, is here to fill the niche that is upscale late-night dining. Open every day of the week until 2 a.m. and serving food until 1:30 a.m., Society is perfectly suited for the high-energy atmosphere surrounding ASU. With menu items like arancini, butter cake, chula salmon ceviche (a classic ceviche but with salmon belly and mango), and yes—a Pound O’ Mussels. Located in the heart of the city, this lively yet approachable local is the epitome of Tempe dining." - Mcconnell Quinn

We went to society for the first time for my 30th birthday and it was a pleasant experience. We got wine, 2 appetizers and 2 pastas. All the food was excellent and our server was very friendly and personable. Will definitely go back and would recommend to anyone wanting good food and a fun and elegant atmosphere! Is perfect for a birthday dinner, girls night or date night!

Went for my birthday, I loved the atmosphere. The vibe was very relaxing. Love the decor the decoration. Authentic Italian food. They personalized a menu for my birthday, and I got a free dessert. The food was absolutely delicious. The waiter was fantastic as well.

Absolutely loved this place! The food was really good! The dessert was good too! Make sure you ask for the happy hour menu when you go around their opening time. The guava cocktail was a little too sweet tho, so maybe consider something different if you’re not into really sweet drinks.

Some of the best food and drinks I have had in a long time! Service was amazing and there wasn't one thing we all ordered that wasn't phenomenal. Atmosphere is so cool and great for pictures.

Vibes were amazing. Decently priced too. Could go cheaper if u need but also plenty of nice dinner options. I would recommend for any occasion. The custom menu was a perfect touch too.

This place impressed me right away with the incredible atmosphere. This is the perfect place for a date or celebration. The food was better than expected. It’s a bit on the pricier end, but the pasta was creamy and decadent. The steak bites were an excellent addition, but $9 is a bit steep. Still, I’d recommend adding in a protein of some sort. Service was a bit slow, but it was busy, and you can tell the waiters and bartenders truly care about providing a great experience. I’ll be back.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Society for a friend's birthday celebration, and I must say, it was quite the experience! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance truly set the tone for a fun evening. The cute decorations added a charming touch, making it a perfect spot for celebrating special occasions. The service was above average—our server was attentive and friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout the night. And let’s talk about the food! Each dish was delicious, with flavors that delighted our taste buds and kept us coming back for more. However, I did have a couple of minor concerns. With a party of 12, we were seated in a large booth, which made it a bit tricky when someone needed to get up. It often required several people to shuffle around, which interrupted our conversations and flow of the evening. Additionally, parking can be a bit of a hassle, especially with the nearby restaurants, comedy club, and Trader Joe’s all sharing the same space. It can get quite packed, so arriving early or considering alternative transportation might be a good idea. Overall, Society is a fantastic venue with a vibrant atmosphere, tasty food, and great service.

Yelp
If you're looking for a cute place with great food and ambiance this is the place! Definitely recommend the vodka pasta and the meatballs were delicious. Brittany our server was awesome and was very attentive!

Yelp
We came here on a Thursday evening to celebrate our son's graduation. There were 10 of us with no reservations, and although we waited nearly an hour, it was totally worth it, especially since it was all planned last minute. While waiting, we grabbed seats at the bar and enjoyed the vibe. The space isn't very large, but it has such a warm, romantic, and stylish atmosphere, super cute and cozy! The music was upbeat and jamming, setting a great tone for the evening. I ordered a couple of cocktails, The Floor is Guava and The Bloody Prick, both were delicious! For dinner, I had the Pound O' Mussels with pasta and WOW... that sauce is out of this world. So flavorful and rich! My daughter loved it so much she ordered two servings of the mussels and devoured them. My husband went with the Pasta Alla Vodka with blackened chicken, which was also amazing. This spot is chic, intimate, and perfect for a date night or special gathering. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in town!

Yelp
This place has a nice happy hour with well priced apps and large portions. Our group got the fried artichokes and it was plenty for 4 people. The service was great and our waitress was super attentive. My 2 favorite things were the mussels and the mushroom pasta. The mushroom pasta was so flavorful and the mussels had a nice amount of spice to them. Overall I enjoyed the food. I would recommend this place for a date night of even just some happy hour apps and drinks.

Yelp
Ooh this was my first time here and the pasta alla vodka was delicious! I got it with sausage on top because your girl needs meat in her pasta. I also tried my friends brussel sprout salad and that was delicious as well. This place is a whole vibe. We sat in the first room right by the hostess stand and the second room had a dj playing. Not sure if that's just a weekend thing though. We were here on a Friday night. There's a lot of cute places to take pictures and a lot of people were dressed up. This place is on the second floor right by the matcha maiko cafe. Parking was horrendous though. I had to park in the last lot by Trader Joes. I would definitely come back here and try the other pasta dishes. My friends mussel dish also looked really good and he really liked it. Also the brownie with vanilla ice cream was TO DIE FOR! I posted a video below with all of us fighting for a bite lol.

Yelp
Too busy !! Nice ambiance ,small waiting area for the slow seating of guests I have been her several times and the restaurant seems to be over booked and running behind each time. It's a long wait for your reservation then a rushed and annoying experience. Forever to get your cocktails it's super loud and it will stay busy because it's the only nice restaurant in The plaza next to the Improv. The food is fine but don't come starving you will have to wait

Yelp
The food was good but not great. Large portions with a lot of sauce. We were seated quickly and the service was good too. The website photos make the restaurant look more upscale than it really is. If you want a casual Italian restaurant then Society is your place.

Yelp
The food was super good. Ambience was very beautiful with good music! Everybody enjoyed their meal and the service was great!

Yelp
This place was awesome, the decor was on point and the food was delicious. Those dates were packed with flavors. Definitely would recommend to others.

Yelp
Love love love this spot. It's open late and has the perfect aesthetic. Service can be slow at times but always great customer service. Whether you're looking for a quick bite or a yummy drink this is the spot. The pasta is delicious. The whipped feta is a must and the lemon drop and espresso martinis are a 10/10.

Yelp
I've had Society on my list for a while and my party of three found ourselves nearby one late Tuesday night so we decided to check it out. We were greeted and seated right away. The place is pretty spacious with a cool, romantic vibe. The staff was wonderful throughout that night. They kept popping over to make sure we were good. At one point, my friend dropped her fork, and before we could even say anything, two servers showed up with a new one. Talk about attentive! We ordered the following to share: Mussels Crispy brussels salad Truffle fries Hamachi crudo Whipped feta We started with cocktails and I ordered my go-to, espresso martini. Tuesday is Ladies Night after 8 PM, and certain drinks are $10 including my martini. I thought it was a pretty solid espresso martini. Onto the food... Everything was delicious! The portions were great for sharing, too. My favorites were the mussels, crispy brussels salad which came with crispy kale, and of course, the truffle fries. My party was very satisfied!

Yelp
Moved to Colorado and this is the first place I came back to visit, it's always an amazing time at the bar when Brittney is working. If you need late night food and great cocktails go to Society Asap!

Yelp
This place is located on NE corner of University and Rural near ASU. There is a large parking lot on the back side which is where the entrance is located. As you can see in the photos, it is more of take your date to impress her/him. Probably more for ASU students, younger crowd. We got the ahi tuna starter which was fairly small, definitely an appetizer, cannot be used as a meal. Sorry all the photos came out blurry but generally, the servings were fairly small, especially considering the price. The Society burger was about as expected for an upscale burger. The chicken alfredo was also as expected. The duck meatloaf actually tasted like real meatloaf so that was a plus. Overall good for dates, date night, especially if in your 20s. But small portions for the price.

Yelp
This is located in the same plaza at Trader Joe's! It's upstairs next to an improv comedy club, I think? Anywho, we booked on open table and they were ready for us immediately upon arrival. We chose a high top towards the back. Definitely recommend this as the bar is in front of you and you can see everything and everyone without feeling overwhelmed. Our reservation was at 6:50pm. It is dark, but very vibey and music was good. Not too loud. Drinks... I got the cucumber express (vodka, cucmber, lime and mint) it's my FAVE, I order it anytime I see it at a restaurant. It's refreshing and could be dangerous! lol my friend got a mocktail the server suggested he'd make. Which gave off confidence and a fun mystery! She loved it and it was garnished so cute! Apps- whipped feta dip! Served with ciabatta, apples and pita. The middle was a garlic honey drizzle. The feta and honey complimented each other well. The plating 10/10. If you want something light, I'd definitely go for this. Foods- my friend got the Pasta Alla Vodka! Good sized portion with grated cheese on top. She really enjoyed her meal. It came in a bowl. Nothing crazy. I got the filet! It came with creamy mashed potatoes, Brussels and it tasted like caramelized bacon. SOOO good! I ordered medium well.. it was a THIIIICCC cut. I think the temp was perfect. Still pink but not crazy. VERY tender. I would honestly get this again. Plating was done well. Service, drinks, food. Consistency. All 10/10. GO, GO, GO!

Yelp
Came for dinner with a friend and was told it would be a 3 hour wait, however the bar was open and that we could order food there. We opted for the bar. The staff was great! My water was filled all throughout the meal. I got the Caesar salad with avocado. More like no-avocado! Very little bits of pieces on top. That was a let down. Let the server know but he just agreed they may have not put enough. The burger was good, average and nothing special. The fries were seasoned well and were probably my favorite. The esthetics and vibe is what brings in the crowd. Very chill and a place to eat with friends. I wouldn't say I'd wait 3 hours for a table though. If you come here for the weekend, make sure to pace your reservations!

Yelp
Frankly a very disappointing experience primarily because of the waitress. The restaurant is cute and drinks were good. Food was okay but not bad. We were a party of 6 who got there at 6 o'clock. At 640 our waitress informed us that we had to leave in 40 min. Then 10 min later said okay you need to leave in 30. No warning when we sat down as we were a larger party and would not have continued with our walk in dining at this establishment due to us wanting to not feel rushed. The waitress had attitude every time she came to inform us on the time. We went to the hostess to inquire who told us we in fact had an hour left not 30 min. This we felt better about. However the hostess then talked to waitress and she was clearly upset. She went into the service hallway which has a door and a small window visible from our table where she flipping the bird toward our table. We were really hoping for a better experience as this was for a celebration for a friend. We don't plan on returning. To clarify the establishment was empty and not crowded as noted in this photo.

Yelp
Doesn't live up to the 4-5 average star hype. I can def appreciate the creativity and thought that went into the overall concept and interior design. Just feels a little too much and here's why... The reservation process requires a card on file and charges $25 PER PERSON for no shows. They publish "don't assume it's ok to change your party size" but we had 4 person high top and there were only 2 of us. So if we had a 3rd wheel it would have been fine. The stools used with the high tops are super uncomfortable... Our server was nice but just ok. She thought the Rose was sparkling but turned out it wasn't so she came back to check if we still wanted it or change the drink order. Changed to white wine and it didn't come until after our appetizer. I had to ask her to check on the wine... Food wise, it was 50/50. The bacon wrapped dates were GREAT. Def get these! Ordered the creamy lemon lobster pasta for my entree and it was super bland. Also, before ordering I wanted to swap the noodle type and that was not allowed. Our server said it's because the chef creates each dish to make sure the flavors go perfectly together WELL please consider reworking the lobster pasta because it's not good! And tbh, swapping the noodles wouldn't have helped. Prices weren't cheap so the food should be better. Initially, I saw an IG story about how cute this place was so wanted to check it out but the food wasn't good enough to go back.

Yelp
We went to this location for my daughter's birthday on Sunday, December 29. We reviewed the restaurant via TikTok, yelp, and Google prior to attending . The restaurant takes reservations, but you have to use a credit card to make the reservation reservations, which we're not a big fan of because anything could happen. So we decided to show up and wait our time was about an hour for our table, but we received our table in under 30 minutes . Our entrées we order for : the hamburgers with fries, the mushroom pasta with steak, the pesto pasta with shrimp, the lobster pasta, and the chicken Alfredo. Everything was good, but if you're not a mushroom lover, do not get the mushroom pasta and wish the pasta automatically came with me instead of having to add it for additional cost. Overall, the decor of the restaurant is absolutely beautiful the service Great. We also received a complementary dessert for our daughter's birthday. Just a suggestion for the restaurant to except Apple Pay as a form of payment it looks like that was an option to make the reservation with Apple Pay, but they do not accept it to make the purchase for the dinner which is a little confusing .

Yelp
Stoped by here before a comedy show. The ambience is amazing and so beautiful. Loved all the flower accents hanging from the ceiling. There were about three other tables of people, pretty slow for a Sunday. Service was extremely slow....took 25mins from ordering the food to get a bottle of wine. However, this $35 charcuterie board with a bottle of wine was amazing! Absolutely a hit! And they were kind enough to give us extra bread and crackers to scoop up all the delish cheeses. Take away, service was lacking. But that food will have me coming back maybe not with time restrictions though.

Yelp
Brittney C. took care of us for my cousins birthday and from the minute that we sat down she was unfriendly. She complained about how she was "so tired" and kept all interactions short with our group but was happy to chat with tables right beside us. Throughout the meal she never stopped by, not even to get water refills or ask if we wanted any more drinks since we were celebrating. Honestly just bad service all around. At the end she asked us if we needed anything else and I mentioned it being my cousins birthday and she rolled her eyes and brought us the check. It's unfortunate because we have come here multiple times and had great service every other time. As well as celebrating her birthday last year. The food was great, but that was about it.

Yelp
Food: 7.6/10 Service: 7/10 Ambiance: 8.5/10 Perfect for late hour dinner! I love the creativity in the aesthetic--dim lit, neon blue, flowers, art and house music. The food was good in flavor and in quantity! Servers were nice and helpful, but seemed low staffed. Will come back!

Yelp
It was pretty late Sunday evening, like past midnight and my friends were hungry. We were in the area so I recommended this place because I knew they were open late. I've been here a couple of times before and love the vibe and food. It was all of their first time in here and they loved it! Order for the table: Shrimp Pesto Pasta x3 Whipped Feta Dip Arancini Bacon Wrapped Dates I always get the whipped feta here because it's so good! I wasn't too hungry so that was all I ordered. I did have a bite of my friend's pasta and that had good flavor. Arancini wasn't bad. I don't eat bacon so I skipped that appetizer. Everyone said they loved each dish and would come back again! The decor in here is really cute. Service was great and food didn't take too long to come out at all. It's a great spot for a date night or a girl's night out

Yelp
Stopped by here before seeing a show at tempe improv. Id have to say the location is phenomenal! A nice little fancy-ish dinner and just walk right over! I got the penne vodka pasta sauce and asked for lots and lots of cheese please as I love a lot of cheese on my pasta. They did not disappoint! The pasta had a little kick to it as well, but it want bad. I normally don't like spicy foods but this wasn't terribly spicy. Travis was our waiter and did an excellent job on checking up on us and taking care of us. I aabsolutely love the floral decorations, lights, and chandeliers. Will definitely have to come back for sure! I also didn't know it was the sister restaurant to EVO. I love both places! Such pretty decor.

Yelp
I give Society a 3.8 because I adored the food and I recognize the lapse in service I had wasn't a true reflection of what they have to offer! However, I'm only going to speak on what I experienced. We had a 9:30 reservation we were a few minutes early for, the host told us they were getting table ready. We sat around 9:37 in a high top table near the bar. 2 waters were brought to the table with no acknowledgement to us. And 10 minutes went by without us getting service. Bar tender came to take our order seemed annoyed, but we gave our orders and then we received the whipped feta dip, 10/10, the flavors of the toppings with the feta was amazing and the warm bread and green apples were the perfect accompanying dippers. The pesto pasta 8/10, it's was delicious, but very oily The Caesar salad 8/10 with blackened shrimp very delicious Not pictured was the strawberry swirl cheesecake 9.5/10 Once we had ordered food the bartenders were attentive, but the initial wait and then the nonchalant attitude about us celebrating a birthday was sub par... The food was worth the price, the environment was amazing.

Yelp
I have had Society on my list of must-try places for a while now and I was so excited to finally eat there last night. We made a reservation for Friday night earlier this week, which I highly recommend, as everyone who checked in around when we did said they had reservations. I LOVED my pesto pasta. It was so decadent and rich, I ended up sharing some of it with my date since I couldn't finish it as it was so filling. I also had a glass of moscato which was delicious. The inside of this restaurant is gorgeous. It's definitely the perfect place for a birthday or anniversary dinner. I loved all of the lights inside. 10/10 - will be back again!

Yelp
I've sat on this a bit because I want to be fair, but I can't go higher than a 2. We enjoyed the ambiance and our table. The decor is a bit over the top but in a fun way and the black lights over the tables are great for reading the menus. It really sets a vibe. We ordered drinks -- plenty to choose from - and asked if there was any bread to order. We all wanted salads before our meals and wanted some bread to go with. I was verging on hangry but didn't want any of the appetizers so bread seemed a great option. We were told yes but it's just plain bread. No olive oil or butter is available. Well, so be it, we ordered the plain bread. Then we ordered salads and our entrees. The house salad is listed as having: Arugula | Mixed Greens | Balsamic Cherry Tomato | Pickled Onion | Ricotta | Lemon Vinaigrette I don't care for balsamic so I asked about leaving the balsamic tomatoes off. When my salad was delivered, it had no dressing at all. It was just a bowl of dry lettuce. I don't recall there being ricotta but I'm not sure. But it was 100% dry lettuce. Here's where it really starts to go downhill. I am HANGRY. The bread we ordered with drinks (before salads) still hasn't arrived and I just have dry lettuce. I sit there with dry lettuce for 20 minutes because there's just no servers anywhere. Finally she comes back and I explain the issue and she tries to tell me that's because I said no balsamic and that is the dressing for the salad. I point out that the salad was listed as having lemon vinaigrette, and she disagrees! Finally, she does go and get me lemon vinaigrette and our bread. The lemon vinaigrette is amazing and the only reason I'd ever come back here. The bread is... plain bread. As we knew. But how odd for a place like this to not offer some sort of great bread to go with salad and pasta. It's the same bread that comes with the cheese apps so now I know. Our pastas arrive. They are fine. I had the mushroom pasta which was just ok. It didn't have that many mushrooms in it. It did have some flowers on top which is cute, but when I asked for fresh pepper, we got the old pepper like from a diner. I think even Olive Garden has fresh pepper! I find it bizarre for a place charging $28 for a mushroom pasta and putting flowers on it not to have fresh pepper. I took most of my pasta home and added Trader Joe's frozen mushroom medley to it which really improved it. I would absolutely come back for the salad with the lemon vinaigrette and maybe try a dessert, but overall needs improvement, especially at the prices.

Yelp
I came into Society for a little girl dinner (read as: I ordered appetizers and cocktails). The space is is very floral and cute. Definitely a good spot to check out. It appeared that they had a couple of large parties in there so this could be a good place to go if you need a group reservation. Food and drinks were good. Bacon wrapped dates were amazing. The charcuterie board was good. I would want to come back and actually eat an entree next time
google avatar

Ashlee S.

Yelp
The decor was different but was a nice vibe and chance of scenery. Very whimsical-like. Most of the food was great. I wasn't too impressed with the Hamachi Crudo personally. I felt the flavors weren't coming together for me. the crispy chicken burrata was delicious...minus the spaghetti. the sauce was on the pasta is not for me. I think that it would be worth substituting the spaghetti for the vodka sauce on anything (papperadalle was delish). The perk is they make almost everything in house, specifically the pasta. I'd definitely return. the service was decent too.

Yelp
Had a colleague in town so I took the team out for a business dinner this week. I've been to Society a while back and decided it was due for another visit. The vibe inside is great and inviting...the unique features hanging from the ceiling, the lighting...and other cool items to keep the space interesting and fun while chill music is playing throughout. It's a great date spot, casual business dinner or just a relaxing place to have a drink with friends. I ordered the mushroom pasta (really good!), and we had the feta dip (also yum), meatballs (good) and bacon wrapped dates (bomb!). I was a bit skeptical on the dates but they were easily my fav by far! The service was amazing at our table. Tess was an all star and took care of us perfectly. On a scale of 1 - 10, I'd recommend you check Society out, you'll love it!

Yelp
The first thing to love about Society is the decor. It's got a flower-garden-at-night kind of feel to it with flowers hanging from the ceilings and and on the walls. There are absolutely gorgeous chandeliers, some neon lights, and a fantastic mural on the wall of the bar. We had a reservation and we're seated immediately in the front dining room. We have only sat in the bar area in the past, and it is definitely a different feel. Our server was helpful and friendly, and helped me to decide what to get. This is the place where I learned to love mezcal, so of course I had to get a mezcal cocktail. Both of our cocktails were delicious! I wasn't very hungry, so I got an order of meatballs from the appetizer section, along with some grilled asparagus. The order actually had three large-ish meatballs that were cooked in a red sauce and then topped with a balsamic glaze. It was served with with three pieces of Italian bread. My asparagus was absolutely fantastic, with just the right amount of char. I didn't finish either order - - Believe it or not the meatballs and about half of the asparagus was plenty for me. Hubs got the marg pasta, and why was it delicious! The shrimp was large and tender and that sauce was amazing. I'll definitely consider getting that dish on our next visit. This place is a good date night place. We will continue to come back again and again.

Yelp
We stopped into Society for a date night. Parking was a bit crazy between a comedy show and Trader Joe's but there were still spots in the lot. The interior of Society is interesting--dark colors, big chandeliers. First thing the hostess tells us after seating us, is they're fully booked so we have a an hour and a half time limit on the table. Like, I get it, but also not the best first impression. Our server was great--checked in, gave us time with the menu. The wine list looked solid. Grateful for an NA beer. We started with the potato croquettes. The croquettes themselves were fine. I thought the sauce they were in wasn't great. It was a tomato sauce but it tasted like it had adobo in it, which just gave it a weird flavor--kind of a bitter undertone--when the croquettes needed more brightness. I got the mussels for my main course. Huge serving, well cooked, the crostini were good. But again, the sauce didn't do it for me. I like spice. But I also want to taste my food. I feel like there should be a certain delicacy to the broth mussels are served in and when done right, you should want to drink it. This was just overwhelmingly spicy tomato sauce. Also, while the playlist was great, it was loud. I think I was just not into the vibe as a whole. Overall, for the price point (around $100-1 app, 2, entrees, 2 drinks) I wasn't impressed.

Yelp
Came here to celebrate a friend's birthday while in town. The ambiance is cute, on the second floor. We got the floor is guava cocktails and they were pretty good. For entrees we all got the lobster pappardelle. It was pretty average, nothing special. We all thought so. The desserts were pretty good. If you go - skip the lobster pappardelle. The cocktails are good.

Yelp
Can't stress this enough- this place has gluten free penne pasta and it was delicious!!! I got the pesto pasta (gf) and the blackened shrimp was to die for! The society fries had the perfect blend of spices! Highly recommend and I will definitely return!

Yelp
This was an interesting place! Many places struggle to decorate enough or tie it all together. The decorators of Society do not have this problem. Everywhere you look, there are things hanging from the walls and ceiling. It's dark with splashes of light and color. I couldn't help but just look around constantly. The music was decent but loud and I did discover a couple covers. The food was pretty good, but very expensive for what it was. The potato croquettes were good but had a strange smoky tangy flavor that I couldn't quite place. For my entree, I got the golden chicken which was also good. No hard-to-place flavors there. Overall it was a solid dinner, but felt like it was on the pricey side for what the food delivered.

Yelp
On our way to see Hamilton at ASU Gammage, we decided to stop in to Society. It was early, so no reservation was necessary. Not wanting to sit through a long show on an over-full stomach, we decided to share an appetizer and entree. We started with the meatball appetizer. The meatballs were moist and delicious. The house-made sauce with basil oil and balsamic reduction pushed the taste buds to the edge! So good! We shared the burger and delicious fries. Two thumbs up, with a definite "would order again" review. The place is eclectically decorated- comes together nicely. The bar has full service food and was charming. I will certainly be back. Great place with excellent service. What else do you want?

Yelp
Wow this place is a VIBE. Great for date nights. It's in an odd shopping/food complex but you go up outside stairs and the inside is magical. I love the blues and purples and the hanging flowers just make you go "wow". Our server was very attentive and the food came out so fast. We both got the chicken Alfredo but I had mine with gluten free pasta of course. I asked and no, they don't make their gf pasta in house (I've only been to one place that has) and yet it's still $4 more, but that's gluten free living. I hadn't had Alfredo in who knows how many years but it was to die for. So cheesy and I love cheese. Would have liked maybe a few more chicken pieces but there was a lot of sauce which I deeply love. My date's pasta definitely looked homemade, wish I could have tried! I had a glass of rose, a sweet touch with dinner.

Yelp
Date night for a couple that hadn't gone out for 6yrs after having kids. We were long overdue, to say the least. I made a reservation for 445pm, but very much did not need it at that hour. Oh well, I'm old and wanted to play it safe. Place is right next to the Improv. The line actually runs right in front of the door so you'll probably have to go through the line to get in the door. Improv bouncers generally keep the doorway open so that is good. Inside is low lights and pretty cool. If we didn't sit by the back window then it would have felt a little less 5pm and a little more like a swanky 7pm dinner but that is ok. Service was on point. Not too often and not leaving us hanging. He was fun when he was there. Wife got the Pasta Alla Vodka and me the filet mignon. Both good although I would not get the filet again as it did not justify its $52 price tag. The steak was cooked very well, it just lacked in flavor. For drinks wife got the Cucumber Express and I had a Socie-Tea and a Bloody Prick. The Express was very smooth and refreshing. Something that I see being at home next to you at a pool party. The Tea felt more speakeasy with the bourbon while the Prick was a little more smooth. All felt fairly strong but still tasted very good. They had some nice music going with some nice bass, but not overpowering. I'd be interested to see how this place looks at night. I would definitely go again.

Yelp
Came here for happy hour on a Friday and can I just say, the place is beautiful. We grabbed drinks and checked out the menu. The menu was fine but not vegan friendly at all. What a great place to take a date or special occasion (non vegan) lol. The bartenders are great and attentive. They bill themselves as a late night stop off, so you can go late- they're open til 2am! Parking is pretty bad so if you are meeting someone add time in to find a parking spot. If you want to go somewhere with an unbelievable ambience go to Society. Oh! And it's next door to Tempe Improv so make a night of it!

Yelp
Atmosphere is great and the food is even better. Also, the selfie/picture wall is adorable.

Yelp
Our last and final celebration for our WP Kerry business school graduation involved a reservation here tonight before the ceremony. They open at 4 PM, so we had plenty of time for a leisurely snack and dinner before we needed to be at the stadium. I will say the hostess was not the friendliest, but once we were seated, service was exceptional, the food was fantastic and the atmosphere here cannot be beat. My daughter ordered the chicken Alfredo, my other daughter ordered the salmon and my husband ordered a burger. The portions all looked very large, so I just ordered a half a Caesar and shared everyone else's meals so I can state with certainty, the food was fantastic!. They have an extensive cocktail list and we enjoyed the guava drink especially. I would imagine this place is quite hopping later on in the evening as the candlelight ambience is really pretty. The bill with drinks was $190 before tip, so not inexpensive, but it was worth it. Definitely a great spot for a celebration.

Yelp
We came here for a company dinner (18 people) and it was great! Service was attentive and honestly super helpful. They had a hiccup where a ticket was lost resulting in delayed meals for a few people but they were so apologetic and kept us updated. It wasn't a big deal but I appreciated their communication about it. For appetizers, the crowd pleasers were the bacon wrapped dates and the whipped feta. The meatballs were tasty and the least favorite was the arancini. For entrees, people loved their pastas (mushroom and the pesto). The Cesar and house salads were fine, but the side of salmon we added on were great. The burger looked good as well, but it seemed to be just your average burger. For sides, the Brussel sprouts were amazing! The grilled asparagus was good too. Ambiance is a bit Instagram-y with the fake flowers and neon signs but it wasn't over the top. We will be back!

Yelp
Very hip and bougie looking restaurant by ASU so I was wondering if it was going to be any good... but to my surprise, it was very very good! I loved my mushroom pasta, with spinach infused tagliatelle. I added a salmon and that was very good as well. The pork belly appetizer was also fantastic, melts in your mouth, flavorful, hmmmmm!! Our server was very attentive and friendly, we appreciated their attention. The ambiance like I said is very bougie and almost like a night club with the dim lights and beautiful decors. I'd love to come again!

Yelp
Mmm I love society! The pasta is good, the prices are decent, the espresso martini is good- and it's got a cool vibe.

Yelp
Super cute, fun place to have a birthday dinner with a couple of friends! The food was all so good, and the staff was great, everyone stopped by to say happy birthday which was awesome usually it's just your server. We felt like it was a great choice for dinner

Yelp
Love, love, love this place! Their cocktails are absolutely amazing. The vibe inside is super cool, with a modern yet cozy atmosphere that makes it the perfect spot for a night out or to unwind with friends. Make sure you make reservations beforehand.

Yelp
This is a very trending place. Dark in the inside with special lighting for effect. I sat at the bar. Bar staff are very friendly. They don't have a bite beer select but the bartending suggested a beer that was great. Wish I can remember what it was. For dinner I ordered the Mexican street corn and the penne a la vodka with grilled chicken. The Mexican street corn was very good but very spicy. More so than typical Mexican street corn. There was some kind of green paste they used which made it spicier than needed. The penne vodka was excellent. Cooked perfectly and a good size portion. The only down side to this experience was a group of about 6 women really drunk and loud. Very out of place for the vibe I get from this place. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
What a cute venue! It's a perfect date-night or girls' night out location. It is located in the upstairs of a strip mall so parking is available and free. The lighting is dark, decor is eclectic and stylish. There are floral strings hanging from the ceiling and greenery walls everywhere. We were a group of six ladies and shared a variety of pastas as recommended by our amazing server, Bailey. She was attentive, knowledgeable of the menu and recommended the best pastas!! We got the pesto shrimp pasta (some cajun seasoning on the shrimp), chef vodka pasta (my favorite!!), crispy chicken burrata (like a different take on chicken parmigiana that was delicious), crispy brussels salad (beware of the larger chunks because it's a mouthful of brussels but otherwise loved the flavors and crisp of the kale), gluten free mushroom pasta and the feta dip. The six of us ate ourselves into a coma and we still had plenty leftover. The bartender, Jesse, was also entertaining. We asked him to make us a shot and gave a vague description of a flavor profile and liquor that made everyone at the table happy and he nailed it! It was probably the best shot I've ever had and I don't like shots. I had to ask what it was- tequila and prickly pear juice. Highly recommend this trendy stop. We will be back!

Yelp
Great vibes! I ordered a appetizer white wine and pasta dish. The appetizer was delish! I ordered potato croquettes. The wine paired well with the pesto shrimp pasta dish. The only reason not 5 stars was the pasta was a little undercooked. My friend said the same about her pasta dish. We had a great waiter and overall would go back.
