Soda Club Berlin

We went to the latest Halloween festival and it was incredibly impressive and well-produced. There were many stages, each with a different music style, and the decorations were amazing - high-quality and very detailed. In the center of the event there were food stands, drinks, and seating areas. We had a great time, and I definitely recommend coming here for other large events.

Bought a ticket online, but was refused entry with no explanation and an unwelcoming tone. From what I saw, guests who looked like me (non-German) were turned away while others were admitted. I can’t judge intent, but I left feeling singled out and humiliated. Please publish clear entry rules and offer respectful explanations at the door so everyone feels included.

Read the reviews and thought there was no chance that we’d get in but thought it’s worth a shot. Me and 2 other lads from English got in with no problems. Bouncers were friendly enough, drinks were reasonably priced. It did seem like we were the only English people in the club everyone else was German. Still good vibe

Halloween 2025 We had tickets, like many, but we needed to stay almost an hour to get in, well didn’t expect that. I thought maybe there will be two lines for the people who has tickets and who don’t + it was worth it + staff were mostly nice + shots were cheap, but in some rooms they did not pour enough! + ja ja several rooms, different musics + not witnessed racism + the people there were nice, not witnessed harassment - Management of the queue had problems, only one tiny line for entrance is not enough - the security people were tooo slow as well Remember to bring your ID cards guys

Actually super Racist club, like super super racist. I come and I'm all fine because I'm white and I speak German. I even say "Hey its me and my other guy friend" so its clearly not a gender thing. Then when he looks at my friend, who's my cousin but he's slightly brown. All of s sudden he can't accept and "he doesn't need a reason"

I never thought that this situationexisted in Berlin. I met it everywhere at the gate of famous clubs in Berlin in the form of little people called security guards. If you are not a German teenager, a woman you are not allowed to enter for stupid reasons like a private party or too many men inside :)))). if you are a normal person wanting to have fun it is not allowed. this is a form of discrimination . bravo berlin bravo little people you are the best!!!!

Absolutely putrid behaviour from the security on the door tonight. My friend was date raped in the club tonight and we thought she was having an asthma attack. We were leaving and she took a seat at the front entry and couldn't breathe. I approached security and said I didn't know what to do. He said we needed to take her away and he did not offer to help whatsoever. Because of him, we got her to walk just outside of the club where she ended up collapsing and was placed in the recovery position and an ambulance was called. Your security did NOT care whatsoever. Do they even have first aid or CPR training? Thank god I do Because your security could not care less. Putrid behaviour.

INCREDIBLY UNSAFE. DO NOT GO. The bouncers refuse to do their job and care more about quizzing you at the door than about keeping people safe. I was assaulted in front of the bouncers for checking on a girl who was completely out it with a guy she obviously didn't come with and they did absolutely nothing to help me or the girl. My friends and I were told to deal with it ourselves. Violence and druggings. Worst nightclub experience of my life.

Long lines, unfriendly stuff and bad djs! Barkeeper didn't want to sell me a drink because I ordered in English. Looks like club is for German teenagers from a local village who are into radio music or something like you would dance in a prom. Bad atmosphere, nothing special. As a woman don't get drunk cause after 4 o'clock some strange dudes will try to take advantage of you!

If 0 stars was a possibility I'd leave that. I'm from the USA and when I went with my US American friends, and it was a good time. This time I went with my friend from Syria and the guy at the door did not let us in once he saw my friend. He did not even look at our IDs. I can also speak German so I asked if there was a problem, and the guy said "You just can't come in tonight because it's my decision and I said no". When we asked why my friend was a problem for him he said "Because I said no". This place is racist, and I can't go to a place like that in good conscience.

I've been here to a Halloween​ party and all clubs at the Kulturbrauerei were covered by the 12€ ticket. While I did enjoy the other floors (sound system was nice) I did the mistake of checking my coat at the soda club. It was way too packed (which is obvious as such a​ big event). However, there is no selection at the door, anyone can join the party. Even the drunk people who are looking for a fight. If you are in a good and safe crowd this place can be a fun party. Don't expect respectful and mindful people here. Definitely not going to spend​ money here again.

Extremely rude bouncers who turned us away after waiting half in the hour in the cold. They then proceeded to say EXTREMELY derogatory words towards us (us as being an LGBTQ+ and women group) I DO NOT recommend wasting your time here or your money. Go to the club across the street, they are so much nicer and much more welcoming.

Forget Berghain. Forget About Blank. Forget Tresor. Along with Matrix, this is the best club in Berlin! Crazy music and crowd! Make sure not to miss the Bachata room.

Worst club experience in Berlin so far. The club itself is alright, but the bouncers are extremely rude, they wouldn't let me in because I'm from Denmark which I heard one bouncer whisper to another, instead they told me I was too drunk. When I wanted to communicate with them about the situation, they ignored me and eventually grabbed me very hard in my arm and pushed me away. I can tell by these reviews that I'm not the only one who has had problems with this clubs racist and rude behaviour... I'm never going back!

Jacob's Gist: a good club, but I didn't feel like it was the full Berlin experience I was expecting. ======================= So I'm not a club person. I figured that out very quickly and am firmly on Team Bar. However, it was my birthday and we were in Berlin so why not give it a shot? We got here at probably 10:30-11 (early for a German club but us Americans need an early start) and there was absolutely no line to get in. In fact, it seemed like they were letting in just about everyone that showed up. Once we were inside, we checked our coats and let the fun begin. Truth be told, Soda isn't a bad club. We had a lot of fun here and I had a great birthday I'll never forget. Yet looking back, I feel like there was something missing. Everyone talks about how great the Berlin club scene is and how it's one of the best in the world but I didn't get that vibe from Soda. While it isn't the most touristy club I Berlin at all, I still didn't feel like I was with the locals. The music, for example, ranged from Drake to Kanye, but didn't have any of the electronic music that Berlin is known for. The 80's dance floor was awesome and the hip-hop one was a lot of fun as well, but I just don't feel like I got the Berlin clubbing experience at Soda. If you're only here for a short time, I don't know if I'd recommend Soda. However, if you're here for an extended stay it's a pretty grand club that's worth checking out and spending the night dancing away in.

Went with a Syrian friend and he was refused at the entrance because his German government-issued ID "doesn't have an address". Wtf, you never let tourists in then? None of them have a German address on their passport or ID. Even many Germans, like myself, only have a passport and there is no address on it, but I would've probably been let in had I gone alone because I'm white. We went as a larger group and tried to get in separately in smaller groups. Those groups that had only white people got in. Those with brown people didn't. F***ing racists in the middle of Berlin. Needless to say, never going here again.

Club is extremely racist. Attempt to go to the Soda Club May 11th 2019, waiting in a long line to be rejected with no explanation. I tried to hand the security guard my passport he refused to take it and told me to get out of line. So we went to other the entrance and the security guard let us in with are passport. This club is a joke and it makes you not want to support the entire city of Berlin in which at point I stopped spending money in the city. As a tourist and a person of color do not waste your time nor money at the soda club.

Another club with lots of noise, many young kids and no soul. The only option where you can have decently good times, is sunday on the Salsa-Dance special....and even then the place is half full, and you would have problems having variations with your dance partners. So in case.....for one reason or another..... you end up here.....Just get your self a glass of soda, and get the hell out.

Not a bad place to go, but not reflective of the actual Berlin club scene whatsoever. Ladies- it might be worth your while on Fridays when you can get in for free before 1 AM and get 3 free shots. The club itself is pretty nice too- lots of different rooms with great lights, shockingly clean bathrooms, and attentive service at the bar. That said...... The music is like something from a high school dance. Katy perry, nicki minaj, and none of it very well mixed. You could do worse than this place for sure but don't go here if you're only in Berlin for a short time- it does not come close to the grimy, hard, fast time you need to experience here. This is a nice enough club but you could find one like it in any city. It lacks a personality.

Aaron here, The American from California working in Berlin full-time. A local buddy took me to Soda Club on a Friday night and it was pretty cool. Things to note: 1) There are literally 6 different dance floors, all with different styles of music from hard house to hip hop to top 40 to rock. At times I felt I was at a white trash college bar in the states then a cool techno club in a matter of minutes. Many different themes/vibes going on. 2) Drinks are reasonable. Coronas were going for 4euro and cover was 8euro, not bad at all. Just came from Miami south beach where the clubs down there charge $12american for a water bottle and more for drinks. 3) The crowd is on the younger side with average age 18-21 range from my beat guess. I talk to a lot of people when I go out and ask, this is how I know. But everyone is dancing and having fun and I still met some people my own age (I'm 27) which was fine. 4) The music is good. Although there are 6 different rooms going on at all times, the music is always dance-like and high energy which I appreciate. All-in-all its a good big Berlin club to hit up to party in on a weekend night. Open late of course. -Aaron

I'm a local and this is my favorite club in Berlin, I'm here almost every weekend. The entry is 10€ and you'll get 7 floors with completely different music. Alcohol price is average. Little advice don't come around 12-12.30 - long queue and don't be too drunk: the bouncer will not let you in ;) Ich bin fast jedes Wochenende im Soda und das aus gutem Grund. Der Eintritt kostet 10€ und die Preise drinnen sind normal. Mädels ihr kommt umsonst rein und bekommt 7,50€ Getränkegutschein ;) Es gibt 7 floors und es ist für jeden Musik dabei, die DJs sind ziemlich gut und es ist immer Stimmung. Kleiner Tipp: nicht zu voll sein, sonst kann es mal passieren dass man nicht rein kommt ;) Und wenn ihr eine reine Jungs Gruppe seid, dann solltet ihr nicht später als 2 kommen sonst lässt man euch vllt nicht mehr rein. Tischreservierung gibt es für 6er oder 10er Tische, ihr müsst einen Mindestverzehr haben und dann bekommt ihr den Tisch. 6er 170€ und 10er 255€ das sind etwa 2 vodka Flaschen beim 6er und 3 beim 10er, Softdrinks sind dann auch schon mit dabei. Viel Spaß ;)

Many different floors, each with different kind of music; easy to get in; prices are very acceptable, if not cheap. You don`t have to be dressed-up, quite casual atmosphere. Every friday there is free entrance for the ladies as well as free drinks up to 7EUR Sometimes, even though there are 5 or 6 different floors, the music is quite crappy, DJs make dumb mixes and ruin good songs.

Soda in Kulturbrauerei is really huge!! I went with some friends and I think there are 5 different rooms with different music. I went there on Saturday and there was House, 80's, Black Music, R'n'B and another one However entrance was free for women and 8EUR for mens. I will for sure come back there

I like it here - a lot of rooms so you can quickly change your jams and your crowds. A lot of people, and with ladies night before a certain hour, getting in is free annnnd I get like 2 drinks! :)

The music was most of the time not my taste at all but there were also ones that I really liked, except they we remotely all remixed and just lasted basically 30 seconds until they switched the songs. They had awesome lights and it was really like a party with dim lights and all. Also the wardrobe area you have to pay for like 1.50€ for one object. So if you have a backpack with a jacket it costs more then just 1.50€. Also when I was there, there were many girls basically twerk-dancing the whole time to get the guys attention. I don't know if I liked that or not. The bathroom was very clean nice so no complaints there and in the middle of the dance room was a bar where you could order drinks.

AWFUL. I got in with my 30€ ticket, got the stamp, went outside again because there was no connection inside and had to meet a friend, and couldn't get in anymore cause, although there's a stamp, once you're outside you can't get in anymore. Complete nonsense, plus no-one told me anything about what would happen when leaving the area, so I just normally assumed I would get in again with the stamp like in any club. I literally stayed 30mins inside and left my friends there without being able to communicate with them. Thanks for an awful NYE celebration!

It's an okay place to go dancing, with several levels and styles of music offered. A lot of it is techno remixes of 90's jams, so take that for what it's worth. Cover is kind of steep, but that's what you get. Plus, the fact that it's in Kulturbrauerei is a fun novelty. I probably wouldn't go here by myself, but when people want to go dancing in P'Berg, it's a good choice.

10€ cover charge for three floors of tourists standing around. Seriously, felt like everybody off the street with their sneakers, hoodies and shopping bags was shuffling through to get their fake Berlin club experience. Horrible music. Don't go.

Stupid racists, they left my group of 14 friends outside just because we were spanish. And we weren't even drunk!!! Besides, the bouncers didn't even try to explain the reason why Spanish people couldn't enter; as a matter of fact they even kicked out a friendly local who tried to help us from the inside. I would never come back and I hope no one ever does

TERRIBLE. i was waiting in line and the RUDE AND AGGRESSIVE bouncers picked me out and REFUSED to let me in. all of my friends got in and they PERSONALLY VICTIMIZED ME. the bouncer gave me no reason or explanation as to why i wasnt being allowed in but even after i shed TEARS they still refused. i will never return to this joke of a club. the bouncer was awful and extremely mean. i will never forget how terrible this experience was.

worst club in berlin ! don't try it if you're looking for a real Berlin club experience! you can pretty much find one of those everywhere in the world, with super commercial music and shitty dj's!
