January 18th - The place will shut down. I was fortunate to visit this place today and unfortunate to hear that the place will shut down soon and make it's way for a new building. The ambience is comforting and welcoming. The music is light and friendly. The staff were sad to tell us that it's their last few days at the restaurant. The food options on the menu were vast and you will need to understand your dish before you place an order. It was my first time experiencing Parsi food and I must say I am quite impressed with the variety of flavours and the taste of multiple dishes. The dishes we tried were Irani Berry Burrata chaat, Chicken Shish Taouk Kebab, Sali Chicken with Paratha, Berry Pulav and Parda biryani. All the dishes were exceptionally well cooked and served. And we topped it off with a Mawa cake. If you are around the place, do visit or you may not get a chance until and if they relocate.

A very cozy Persian restaurant with a quirky set up. Food is average. I had high hopes on keema pav but it did not taste good. If you are passing by lavella road, you can sit and have one muska bun and enjoy the restaurant vibe.

Have heard of the chain for years but this was my first visit. We visited on a Friday evening and I have not enjoyed a place in Blr this much in a long time. The ambience transports you to a Irani Cafe bit with a hint of nostalgia. The music was fabulous - 2003-2013 Bollywood, songs that we don’t end up hearing anywhere else. The service felt very homely -the food and drinks top notch. The portion sizes were great and very worth the price. There were so many vegetarian options to choose from that honestly made my day. The Thetcha fries were very interesting and I’ve never liked Ragda Pattice before I tried it here. Will definitely be visiting again :)

A Cozy, Nostalgic Dinner Spot We went as two couples with two kids and had a wonderful dinner here. The atmosphere was cozy, with a vintage vibe that reminded us of the old Parsi/Irani cafes in Mumbai and Pune. Soft 80s and 90s music played in the background, adding to the warm, nostalgic feeling. The food was great! While we tried a few dishes, the Bohri Keema Pav really stood out as a favorite. We also enjoyed the Irani chai with bun maska, Chicken Berry Pulav, and Kanda Bhajiya – all delicious and full of flavor. Overall, it was a lovely evening with tasty food and a relaxed ambiance. We’ll definitely be back!

I’ve been eating at Soda Bottle Opener Wala for the past week, and it’s been an absolute delight every single time. The place brings a full-on Mumbai vibe with its quirky décor, vibrant energy, and nostalgic charm. From the moment you step in, the warm and friendly staff make you feel right at home. They’re attentive, polite, and always happy to recommend dishes if you’re unsure what to try. The food here is consistently great. Every meal has been flavorful, fresh, and served with care. The coconut dal in the vegetarian section is a personal favorite — rich, comforting, and unlike anything I’ve had elsewhere. It’s a must-try. I also had one of the best vada pavs in a long time — spicy, crispy, and full of authentic Mumbai street food flavor. The atmosphere is buzzing but never overwhelming. The music perfectly complements the setting — a mix of retro and indie beats that add to the overall charm without overpowering conversation. It’s a great spot to hang out with friends, have a casual meal, or even work solo for a bit. If you’re looking for a restaurant with heart, flavor, and a real Mumbai soul, this is the place. Highly recommended!

The place is located on Lavelle Road and gets quite crowded towards the later part of evenings. The ambience is great, they were playing some nostalgic old Bollywood songs. Seating is comfortable and even though we were just two of us, we were given a larger table. Staff is great and helpful with food orders and suggestions. Food is nice, but doesn't command the high price IMO. The beverages (non alcoholic) were great. The raspberry soda and Sekan-ji-ben (shikanji) were very well made and I ended up ordering a second round as well.

This is a small one floor pub. When I entered it looked like a small cozy theme based pub. But when we started getting food and the Friday music started... Oh man what an experience... Old songs with faster tempo. I loved it and planning to go again.
