Great place in aventura for a drink and cigar...nice outdoor patio as well. waitresses are always nice. cigar selection could use an upgrade.

Located in the lobby of JW MARRIOTT TURNBERRY in the city of Aventura Florida, Miami-Dade. Relaxing atmosphere, however service staff is too 'sales aggressive'.

The live music, the outdoor and indoor area, the bartenders, the drinks, the vibe, everything was perfect. One of the best bars I've been to. Had an amazing experience. Will absolutely return.

This is a wonderful romantic "speak easy" feel that isn't. What makes this so great is it's in an extremely busy hotel lobby. Should be behind a hidden door with a special knock. Bartenders and servers are beautiful on the outside and professional (& lovely) on the inside. They can make anything. Also don't think you can't get your special tequila for $400 a shot. It's here. Friday Saturday night they have some snacks

Kinda average and pricing is high. I ordered the Dam Son cocktail and not sure why it couldn't have been strained into a smaller glass?? Service was polite and attentive. Quiet vibe with good music which I prefer for a hotel bar over echo/ rowdy.

Really nice classy lounge inside the hotel. I stayed there for a wedding and they was very accommodating to the event the wedding party had at their lounge. Nice staff, good drinks, nice prices. They have a outside area that is really nice.

Lovey evening, live around here and randomly came to the bar for an old fashioned. What a lovely night. Had a regular old fashioned, very good. Then had a old fashioned with twist, with mezcal and a little bit of aperol spritz wow it was amazzingg.. Mika the best she was so lovely and very good bartender... will definitely come back. The vibe is low key very nice and sophisticated.very nice vibe and chilled atmosphere, I don't know about you but I'm huge in atmosphere and music. Like it bothers me when the music doesn't "match" the place. (And maybe is just me, lol) but anyways, this place not only their cocktails are curated but the atmosphere is lovely. Tolally worth it.

Located in the beautiful JW Marriot Turnberry resort, we found Soff's while waiting for our dinner reservation at Bourbon. The beautiful, lowkey lounge was a welcome option instead of the rather loud bar at the restaurant. We sat at the bar and had a good time watching the bartender make beautiful drinks. She was fun to chat with, also - very personable and friendly. I ordered an "Above the clouds", fitting I thought, which was rum, ginger, vanilla-ginger cordial, dry vanilla soda and freshly grated nutmeg. My husband ordered a "Sage by the bell" - this is something I would order, not necessarily him, but he ended up loving it so that is good. Or not, I fully expected to end up with it but only got one sip, ha. Sage by the bell is described as Grey goose vodka, sage and grapefruit syrup, with lemon. If I wasn't so hungry, I would have been disappointed that our table was ready next door. I had every intention or returning, but I may just have to come back during a next vacation.

We wanted a fun place to meet with some friends and enjoy craft cocktails. There's a lot of competition out in Aventura that could fulfill what we were looking for but ultimately we figured how could we go wrong with J W Marriott. High expectations rise as soon as I see "J W Marriott."and for good reason. They have certainly earned that expectation in just about every circumstance I have experienced. Soff's is great, visually. It's striking, swanky and sophisticated as heck. I love that the menu includes a little history behind the place, partner that with a couple google searches and you have some great conversation starters. At the end of the day though my experience was just pretty okay. The service getting to the bar was probably the dullest I have yet to experience at a J W. The valet, the front desk, they all seemed utterly disinterested in me...did I reek of "not an actual guest?" who knows? I thought I was lookin pretty decent, I know for a fact my eyeliner was poppin' and I was carrying my best handbag. The drink list was solid, they had some creative combinations, cute names and sexy stemware. Unfortunately the server wasn't able to guide us or have a real conversation with us about the menu as she was just filling in from another department. I don't fault her or them, this is pretty standard for a large resort. If I am being totally honest, my favorite part of this entire night (aside from the fabulous company I was joined by) was the bar nuts! They gave us candied nuts (after ordering a second round) and they were delish. Overall this is a fantastic hotel bar for hotel guests because convenient. It is not a destination.

Wow best hotel lobby bar and all because of Micah. We walked in on Friday night around 9pm with only a couple of other patrons. She made us feel comfortable and attended to very quickly. I asked her to make a drink of her liking for me and she asked a few of my likes and dislikes and came up with such a creative and tasty cocktail in an instant, even naming it after me! She made our experience and night at Soffs. Thank you again Micah!!

Walked in and loved the ambiance, soft music and a stunning bar. Ketsy was so welcoming and very knowledgeable on her drink selections. The drinks wear made perfectly, I will definitely come back to this place and work from my computer. Hope this review was helpful.

Mmmm, if you have a thing for cocktail bars or specifically cocktail bars inside hotels (guilty) you should come check out Soff's! It looks like first come, first serve on the tables so I suggest you go early or plan on waiting for a table. They do turn pretty quickly. I was lucky enough to grab a seat at the bar where I watched their bartenders craft cocktails throughout the night. I tried their Lady Marmalade sub mezcal, it was *chefs kiss* well balanced, citrus forward and complimented well with the smokiness of the mezcal. I would recommend for a before or after dinner drink, or a nice date night!

Very friendly and attentive bar tender! Got here right for happy hour so all drinks are half off and the bartender took her time to make the drinks taste great and make them beautiful! Not to mention they don't serve hot food but they do have amazing bar snacks. Very lowkey and intimate. Good for a business meeting or a quick meet up with friends.

It has a pool and other stuff that's gonna make your vacation fun for summer and TVs has Netflix and Amazon prime.

Soff's is top notch. My family and I came here to ring in the New Year and the love, warmth, and everything else good was felt for days after the celebration. Valet personnel were pleasant, staff inside were personable, and patrons were all kind. Lovely place with great decor to match. I wouldn't hesitate on visiting again.

Very nice place, cozy atmosphere and live entertainment. Our server was very good and attentive to our needs. Loved the guitar player (Saturday night 3.7.2020)
