Highlights

EatYa Pizza is all about serving up slices of happiness. We are located at the corner of 16th Street and Wazee Street, smack dab in Denver's Lower Downtown (LoDo). Our pizzeria is ran by local Chefs with International experience who know how to whip up some seriously awesome Roman-style pizza, mouthwatering Italian sandwiches, creamy soft serve cannoli ice cream, and more. Oh, and did we mention the full bar? Yeah, we've got that too.

"Now here’s il pranzo perfetto (the perfect lunch): For $15, this fast-casual newcomer to LoDo serves up two hearty square-cut slices, aka Roman-style pizza al taglio, with a choice of four side salads. Topping combos like Italian sausage and potato; summer squash, ricotta, and basil; and soppressata, burrata, and roasted asparagus make for a breezily sophisticated noontime getaway." - Gigi Sukin, Paul Albani-Burgio, Ruth Tobias

As a local when I saw ANOTHER italian place opening I couldn't be less interested. How many specialty pizza places does one city need??? So when they had their soft open today I felt pretty meh about checking it out. Still, I do live right there so why not? I'm so glad I stopped. This is not another specialty pizza place. My favorite things so far: 1. They seemed to focus on offering a few high-quality menu items affordably vs. cutting corners or grossly overcharging. The food is AMAZING. 2. They have a full bar - illegal petes isn't the only place in the area anymore (shhhhh let's keep it between us for now yeah?) 3. After talking with a few people, I feel this business is doing what good businesses do: seeing what a community actually wants and providing exactly that: -Quality food with many single item options for less than $5 each (full lunch is $15 out the door - this is amazing for downtown) -$10 specialty cocktails (can't remember the name but they'll know - it's delicious) -HH deals that make sense -cute and spacious dining area -Employees that make me want to come back just to say hi - thank you Heather and Erica! They just need coffee and expanded hrs and they could be the next Leela's (if you never got to go - I'm truly sorry. World class 24 hr restaurant/bar/coffee shop closed since COVID 😢) Oh!! Last thing. Sofia's keeps bees on the roof. Which benefits the community all by itself! The ice cream thingy with honey/fennel is unbelievably delicious - worth stopping in just for that honestly

Google
Sofia’s is a solid spot. The happy hour is from 4-6pm and the $10 Burrata is worth the order. Definitely get the cocktails as they are super fresh. Wine $6 and beer $5 on happy hour. I will definitely be back!

This is a great addition to the neighborhood! Great stuff great pizza the Calabrese Caesar salad was amazing. I recommend the full Roman. Two slices of pizza and a salad for $14. Great deal. Heather and Claire took great care of us.

Heather was the best - she was inviting, enthusiastic, and conversational. We would come back solely for Heather, but the Negronis and pizza were the cherry on top. We will be back!!!

I got a combo, 2 squares and a side salad. It was delicious and staff was great too. Frozen Negroni for the win!!!!

Great service and cocktails. Pizza dough was spectacular, along with a great cook on the crusts. The pizza itself left much to be desired. All the ingredients were great. However, the pizza slices are extremely small and needed more toppings all around. Typically, Roman style pizza is sold by weight not slice. I’ll check back in later this year to see how they have progressed.

Was walking by Sofia's with my daughter's and they started begging me to take them, and to be honest after seeing the sign for Roman pizza squares I wanted to check it out too. We were not disappointed, this place is fantastic! The staff were lovely and friendly. The pizza was incredible with the perfect amount of crustyness on the bottom and beautiful air pockets throughout. The red sauce had a very small amount of spice which helped bring out other flavors. Looking forward to returning and trying other varieties, they all looked good!

This place is the best service and best gluten free pizza downtown! The staff has been nothing but hospitable and accommodating - peanut allergies, gluten allergies, and many special requests. My husband loves the regular crust too! We’ve learned that the regular crust was created by a Michelin level chef and the the meats are authentic Italian! Can’t wait to come back!

Yelp
Just what 16th street needed. A quality well priced pizzeria. I see this place doing very well especially if they can capitalize on the busy lunch rush for mid week in office downtown workers. There is absolutely no reason why people looking for slices in the area should go to any of the competition nearby as Eat Ya is better - no questions asked. The pizza is very good and is some of the best pizza I have had in Denver. The inside of the store also gives you a nostalgia pizzeria feel and is nothing like the old boring pizza restaurant that used to be at this location. Probably going to be a regular here and will certainly spread the good word.

Yelp
Roman pizza by established restaurateurs! Yum! We stopped in for the grand opening. They have several premade pizzas that you can order a slice from. Several are vegan, and others have various meat items. Jamie got the Bianca Bianca I got the potato pizza with pesto. Add a salad. Add a Negroni - actually a phony Negroni! Non alcoholic. That's lunch! Beer and wine are available. Right on the mall Friendly staff. Experience restauranteurs! Scott and Nick are experienced restauranteurs having worked in LoDo previously. And now they're back! Worth your visit! Recommended!

Yelp
Easy going Pizza place on 16th Street Mall. It has a few tables, 2 counters, bar seating and an outdoor patio on 16th Street. You order at the counter with 8 pizza's served Tavern style. They have a spatula to size the pizza. Then cut it with scissors into 2 pieces. I got the Pepperoni for $ 5.50 and the Tikka Chicka (Tikka Masala with chicken) for $ 8.50 + a large Caesar salad for $ 11. The pizza was warmed up in the Italian hand-made Castelli oven. I have seen such ovens in Italy. It was installed by the previous business (Sofia's). The pizza was not quite deep dish, but good. The caesar salad was ok, but needed more dressing. I sat at the bar. My food was delivered a few minutes later. I started with the house made Negroni with Ford's gin, vermouth and Campari. I had it served up neat without ice. Nice and smooth. I tried another drink, a frozen concoction "Goldy Tea" fashioned in the style of a John Daly cocktail with lemonade, iced tea and vodka. Their version is frozen lemonade and New Amsterdam Vodka. Not too strong, but a nice cold drink on a hot day. I met the owner, Nick Kayser formely of Rooted Craft Kitchen. He said they are getting mostly tourists and a few downtown residents. His co-owner Scott said hi. He remembered me from my previous visits to their restaurant in LoHi. The bartender was Rex. Easy to converse with. He interacted well with locals. Happy Hour is Mon-Fri 230pm-5pm. They use plastic ware, not reusable. Restrooms are not gender free. Access code is on your receipt. They also have several arcade machines.

Yelp
This place is great and fills a dire need for a good pizza joint in Denver. We tried the pepperoni pizza, cheese pizza and veggie sandwich. The crust on the pizza was perfect and the veggie sandwich was incredible. Staff was super friendly and helpful as well. We will certainly be back!

Yelp
The pizza crust is perfect. Crunchy, but not too soft and not too thick or thin. It just melts in your mouth. Sun dried tomatoes were very tasty on the salad. You can also sit on the patio on 16th st mall.

Yelp
I call it Sicilian, they call it Roman, whatever. It's pretty dang good. Easy laid back and good pie.

Greg D.

Yelp
A new take on a delicious pastime and they do it right, 1st time trying Roman style, super quick and friendly service. It has a wonderfully textured crisp crust, light pillowy top, can definitely tell premium ingredients, my large slice was filling and took less than 5 min, Goldy, the bartender, kept me laughing, definitely be back.

Yelp
Great new place in Denver! Cool bar and great pizza with options for salads and sandwiches as well. Very affordable spot on 16th.
