Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara

I attended a wedding dinner at this hotel last weekend, and I was very disappointed with the overall experience. Firstly, the service during the dinner was terrible. The waitstaff were unprofessional – they weren’t wearing masks and showed no attentiveness to guests’ needs. We had to keep reminding them to refill tea and wine, which should have been done without prompting. The staff seemed non-local and were quite "kasar," placing plates roughly and rushing to clear food while we were still eating. At one point, they even took away my sauce while I was still using it! Meanwhile, the table next to us was left with tissues and bones piling up, and no one came to clear it. Secondly, the car park experience was equally frustrating. For such a high-class hotel, the car park was poorly designed – the way to the parking area was extremely narrow and inconvenient. It was challenging to navigate, and it left a bad impression right from the start. I honestly expected better from a hotel of this standard. This experience was disappointing and not worth the reputation.

Thank you for the good care in the room. Every day a neat clean bedroom with everything perfectly provided, cleaned, replenished by Kasav. Also the evenings everything correctly made for our night's rest. Our compliments for the good care. Due to all the good care and excellent service this makes our holiday complete and certainly an unforgettable beautiful stay. How hard these young men work, but with great pleasure. Thank you.

Sofitel is located at damansara city adjacent to pavilion damansara. Spacious hotel room with comfortable beds and an enormous bathroom with separate toilet and shower. Balmain toiletries - shampoo soap and body wash as well as body lotion. We requested and received an additional bed as we had 3 in the room. Nespresso coffee machine (with only 1 capsule - at least two for a standard 2 person. Bed and perhaps more since we requested an paid for 3 in the room? felt that for the class of establishment the service was abit lacking. Another example , have a look at the quality of the turndown service. If this is the standard i prefer they don’t bother. In all like the subject of this review, it could be better.

Booked here for 2 nights - location a bit confusing due to newly updated road flow. Parking is at B3, same as shopping parking entrance. Was nicely upgrade at check in, with access to executive lounge and complimentary breakfast due to Accor platinum status. Breakfast was brilliant especially with the nasi lemak. Executive lounge was also fabulous, one of the best with excellent choice for cocktails and also snack (satay and Peking duck). Service here was very professional and friendly (thank you Amira at check in counter for the swift process and also upgrade). Highly recommended!

A decent place, but perhaps falls slightly short of the 5-star experience in cleanliness and service. Room was slightly dirty but still overall comfortable and well kept. I liked that there were some malls nearby though. Water heater also took a while to take effect.

The hotel is location in the Damansara City and fairly close to options for dining and entertainment. The check-in process was smooth and efficient. The front desk and conceirge teams were very friendly from the start. It felt welcoming! The rooms were clean and bright; fully equipped and quiet. Excellent breakfast spread and options; with helpful and pleasant staff in the restaurant.

Spacious, comfy and well appointed rooms. |The hotel itself is away from central KL, but not too far, which gives it a "best of both worlds" feel, as you can easily make your way into the city, but can also escape the hustle and bustle for more of a relaxing vibe.|The staff here have been so helpful and kind. Special thanks to Navein, Lachana, Ekbar and our room attendant for the warm and exceptional service each day.
