Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara

From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm welcome and professionalism of the staff. The check-in was smooth, and every team member I met was genuinely attentive and courteous. The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and spotlessly clean — a perfect blend of French elegance and Malaysian charm. I loved the comfortable bed, luxurious bathroom, and thoughtful amenities like the Nespresso machine and high-quality toiletries. Breakfast was a true highlight — an amazing spread with both local and international options, all fresh and delicious. The service team at the restaurant went above and beyond to make sure every guest felt special. The facilities were excellent — the pool area is calm and relaxing, the gym is well-equipped, and the Sofitel Spa offers a truly rejuvenating experience. I also appreciated the hotel’s peaceful location in Damansara, away from the city’s noise yet close enough to reach everything easily by MRT or Grab. Overall, my stay at Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara was pure luxury from start to finish. Every detail reflected class and comfort. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a 5-star experience in Kuala Lumpur. I can’t wait to return I’d like to express my gratitude to Vino, Anishma, and Midhun for their outstanding support and kindness throughout my stay. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect.

I had an exceptionally comfortable stay here. Sleep quality was excellent and the room layout was very thoughtfully designed – especially having the toilet and shower areas completely separated. The bathtub, paired with bath salts, was a lovely luxury touch. I also really appreciated the generous provision of drinking water, including bottles placed on both sides of the bed during turn-down service. The room itself was spacious and practical, featuring a proper work desk, ample luggage space and a walk-in wardrobe which made the stay extremely convenient and comfortable. The location is excellent – close to Pavilion Mall but pleasantly less congested compared to the main city centre. This made dining and shopping much more enjoyable with shorter waiting times. Grab rides were easy to arrange and quick, with plenty of great cafés and eateries nearby in the Damansara area. I would also like to acknowledge and genuinely appreciate the warm support and service from Ms. Anishma and Mr. Midhun throughout my stay. They were consistently attentive, professional and genuinely made the overall experience even better. Their service truly stood out.

We have just enjoyed 3 nights at the Sofitel. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. All the staff we met were friendly and professional. The housekeeping team did an excellent job of keeping our room clean and well stocked (thank you Kajal). The food at the hotel has all been good, with plenty of variety to choose from. The pool is a good size for a city hotel. There is a shopping mall just across the road but unfortunately it had a lot of empty stores. We didn’t find it good for shopping but it did offer a lot of great food outlets.

We stayed at the Prestige Suite, the hotel staff were friendly and polite, though they could improve on general attentiveness to service. There wasn't a 'priority welcome', there was no customary Accor greeting to recognize status and benefits, and we were not provided with a welcome amenity. Also, the baby cot we requested as part of our booking was not set up in the room when we checked in. On a positive note, the room's decor, which was prepared for our son's birthday was thoughtful. And we were thankful for the plate of chocolates. About the room's amenities, the hot & cold water mixer in the standing shower took a while to heat up, taking roughly 3-5 minutes for the water to be at a comfortable temperature, even when turned up to the hottest. The bathtub had no issues in this regard, as hot water was available almost immediately. In terms of location, public transportation is easily accessible via Pavilion Damansara. You can conveniently take the MRT to the city center and major tourist attractions, avoiding the usual Kuala Lumpur traffic congestion.

I had an amazing stay at the hotel! The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. I particularly want to mention Chanelle, who took care of me during my stay. She was attentive, courteous and made sure I had everything I needed. Chanelle's service was top-notch, and it really made my stay enjoyable. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable, and the amenities are great. Thanks to the Chanelle and the whole team for making my stay so pleasant, I'll definitely be back!!

I stayed in the Club Access Room and had a very comfortable stay. What impressed me the most was the service at the Club Lounge. Miss Ekbar and Miss Lachana provided excellent service throughout my visit. When I used the lounge for a business meeting and requested a quiet area, they kindly arranged it and ensured everything was perfect. I truly appreciate their hospitality and will definitely come again!
