A wonderful five-star hotel that truly shines if you are 1. visiting Paris for the first time, 2. here on a short trip, or 3. planning a luxury shopping itinerary. The location is unbeatable; steps from Palais Garnier, and near major museums and Place Vendôme. With five metro lines nearby (3, 7, 8, 12, 14), you can reach nearly anywhere with ease.
Arriving is seamless via the Roissybus (13 Euro, every 20 minutes) to Opéra, just a short block away from Le Scribe; safe, reliable, and far more convenient than RER, taxi, or uber. For your return, the front desk will happily arrange a taxi waiting right out front (a rare Paris convenience).
The breakfast team deserves special mention; professional, kind, and warm. The buffet offers a thoughtful mix of ‘French’ and international options; from pastries with fresh honeycomb, artisanal jams, and made-to-order eggs, pancakes, and crêpes to miso soup and white rice. Christophe, the breakfast manager, radiates energy and charm as he checks in with guests; a bright start to the day.
Le Scribe is a great Paris base! I have a special place in my heart for a hotel in the 16th arrondissement; perfect for a true luxury, relaxed Paris retreat. But for shorter 3–5 day stays, I’ll wholeheartedly return to Le Scribe.
