The single biggest ripoff I’ve ever experienced in an airport. Do not go here. $20 for chicken wings that a 7-11 would be embarrassed by.

Yes it's an airport bar. But the bartender/server Tara was a delight and made a very good drink. Pretzel was better than expected as well. Thank you Tara!

Rude staff and overpriced drinks. We paid more than 38 dollars for two self served drinks. There are much better alternatives.

Absolutely the WORST burger I have ever had. This place should be shut down ASAP! Health risk….meat was probably month old, bun saggy and watery. Fell apart on a touch. Please someone call the sanitation department. I they have a guts to charge that excuse for the burger $22. DO NOT EAT IN THIS PLACE!

The food here is beyond trashy, this place makes McDonald's a 5 stars restaurant, so overpriced. Please respect yourself, do not spend money here, feeling so sorry for the guys working there...

Extremely expensive place. I ordered a cocktail and guac chips. My bill amount was $43.55 but I was charged $52.26. I don't know for what they charged extra. I tried to contact the restaurant but the contact number provided is incorrect.

This place gives me chills years after i went here. To this day it is the absolutely WORST food i have had in my life. It is sooo bad it haunts me. Bummer they are still in business. Do NOT go here under any circumstances #rejectsohobites

Overpriced airport food emporium. $24 for six Buffalo wings, with no carrots or celery garnish. And the wings were most likely microwaved. GTFOOH

$22 tacos were surprisingly decent, although completely cold except for the warm beans. Warming the tortillas could have made a big difference. The drinks are insultingly expensive ($22 per glass of cheap cheap wine), and white wine is served in a stemless glass- another temperature issue! Plastic utensils, and the chairs sound like nails on a chalkboard... but truthfully I would come here again because food options are scarce in Terminal 1... yet luxury retailers are a plenty! Would love to see one less Hermes if it means we can get a decent restaurant around here

Food is just so bad and pathetic. There's a burnt smell too as if something is on fire. Def way way overpriced

Javon is a wonderful, attentive waiter. He literally made the experience a good one. The food was decent for airport food, super fast from when we ordered until we got it. Javon had a smile on his face the whole time and was super kind.

Staff barely said hello. Food is overpriced, as expected for airport and has no taste. Tables haven't been changed for years! They ask you to tip in advance, and then just ignore you. There are much better places at JFK!

food is not bad but price and menu are terrible and meant to rip you off. The menu has an option known as "Bites" which seems to include olives,nuts,and chips as one $7 arrangement or platter. considering the price this is a fair assumption. Rather they charge you $7 for a bag of chips+$7 dollars for olives+ $7 for a small cup of nuts. This led me to paying $21 for nuts,olives,nuts which would have cost me $5 at the kiosk 20 steps away. Service is terrible and the $20 salad comes unmixed would not recommend

Food was not good. Hamburger rare, chicken tenders over cooked. Took toooooo long. Do not come if your in a hurry. Service was mediocre! OVER OVER PRICED!!!!!

I just had the worst burger in my life. Meat questionable, bun watery and fell apart on touch. Inside - who the hell knows. Absolutely disgusting and sanitary questionable. Someone needs to alert health department. They should be kicked out of the airport! How does JFK Airport allows that is beyond me?!?!?!

Well what can I say... it's airport food (shoulder shrug). My recommendation is to not arrive @ the airport extremely hungry because then you will be forced to choice between Blah and Blah. The employees' were efficient and competent. The menu options were not extensive and everything was recommended to be a better choice had beef or pork so they were not options for me. All the cocktail on he menu, couldn't not be order because they ran out of ingredients. I settle with a Jack and Gingerale & my bestie went with a Margarita, which was horrible. We both order Chicken and cheese Phillies on pretzel buns with sweet potato fries. The fries were cold and the sandwich was too hot to touch so we definitely couldn't eat for some time. Overall the food wasn't absolutely terrible, it was eatable on a clutch situation. For some reason this is one of maybe four options in terminal one so you have a 25% chance of picking something you will enjoy. Just A Note: Go with wine, and sleep on the flight if you don't find anything pleasing. You won't know your hungry if you are sleep (shoulder shrug!)

This was our only option but it was really ok. Guacamole and chips was surprisingly fresh and tasty. Chicken sandwiches were ok. We were smart and asked our excellent waitress for her recommendations and she was honest. Chicken sandwiches were good...the Mediterranean plate was ok too. This manager/waitress was a star!! She made an excellent Manhattan...let us taste the rose and created a lovely experience out of a shitty airport restaurant! The second waitress was also excellent. The price tag was steep...but expected at JFK!! Five star service! Two star food.

If I could give this place a zero, I would. Save your money! It's literally so over priced for the most disgusting, greasy, microwaved, lazily-put-together food you'll ever taste. I took one bite of my vegetarian burger and immediately went up to the counter to get a refund. I was nice about it, and thank God they were nice too but I paid $52 for a glass of Pinot Grigio and a veggie burger??? This place makes McDonald's look and taste like a 10 star restaurant for a quarter of the price

I seldom eat at an airport before boarding a flight. I broke the pattern- and regret my choice. Poor excuse for a Cobb salad. $22 for a glass of wine - apparently large though I did not order large. All in all a bad experience - and expensive.

Stopped here before our flight to Amsterdam. I got a Philly cheesesteak on pretzel bun which was a little burnt but still yummy! Dan got a sandwich with bacon I forgot which one. Good experience overall!

I got Chicken Wings (I believe they were called Coconut Sriracha Wings) here along with a large glass of Heineken which costed me nearly $40 including tip! Service is very spotty and had to wave them down so I could pay and get going before missing my flight. Would not recommend dining here if you're in a rush to catch a flight.

What a sad, sad place. I know it's an airport bar, and you have sort of a captive customer base..but at least TRY! We waited about 20 minutes for a drink when I could practically count the people there on one hand. Drinks are outrageously expensive. Even for an airport. Seriously. It's like next level stuff, folks. Avoid at all costs.

This place sucks. Food is terrible. The whole terminal 1 at JFK is garbage for food. Stick to airlines which fly out of terminal 8. Fuck this

What a trap , stay away from this place , I'm still mad at the fact that they serve me a burger where only the bun was good for the rest McDonald would dove a better job and the service is lousy , also they include the service and they don't tell you , double trap , very dishonest, if u hungry go to that sandwich guy across from them , expensive too but not overly and u don't have to tip .

Absolutely the worst airport food and outrageous prices. Microwaved burgers that are ready in 30 seconds. I have been traveling for the last 15 years and this is the worst place ever bar none.

This place is extremely horrible!!! Food is trash prices are out of this word and staff is is clueless!!!!! I ordered a burger that was $18 plus $2 for fries!!! I got a 4 oz patty with a piece of bread!!!! I have never been so disappointed with my eating experience!!! Spoke to the manager SHELLY! And she was extremely rude and clueless!!! Never again!!! She has no customer service skills and whoever hired her should follow her out the door! WE WORK FOR OUR MONEY

The food is disgusting.The service is zero but they put for service 22% and plus this waitress did not give our money back, she keep near 8 dollars for her and just water, whuch is free in New York, charged us 8 dollars.

The wine was nice. The woman working in the background making sure glasses were cleaned and basic food was prepared was amazing. She handled her work with grace and was personable to boot. After that point anything in this review is going to lack positivity. The waitress that originally came to help was sure to point out that everything was expensive as I tried to ask what a Jack and Coke would cost. Going so far as to let me know that with tax even the most basic wine was just expensive, implying that I wouldn't want it... Ignoring that I was asking about something specific. But the real problem happened when trying to pay. My boyfriend and I were sitting at the bar. We asked for the check and were told the waitress couldn't check us out but that the manager would. She walked away and we waited. FOR 10 MINUTES!!! At that point the waitress returned with a COFFEE she had gone and bought while we were waiting. She then went to CHECK US OUT... like that was a thing she could do... The worst part is when the manager was made aware of this he shrugged his shoulders and said, 'Sorry', then he walked away.

Really bad food, they microwave the beef in all the burgers. I Can not recommend to eat here. Really expensive and really bad food. All over a really bad experience.

This was some of the worst airport food I've ever had. Even for airport inflated prices, it wasn't worth the price. We ordered two burgers which weren't prepared properly and didn't have the topping (tomatoes, lettuce, etc) the menus stated would be included. The menu states fries would come with the burgers but that was not the case and we got a bag of potato chips instead. The team working didn't seem to care about the discrepancies. You'll be better off getting a cheese burger from McDonalds instead. It's a lot cheaper than the gross $20 burger you'll get from this place.

They were extremely rude when I simply tried to ask a question, just yelling at me to sit down. None of the staff knew if anything was gluten free, literally walking away from me, leaving me with an answer of "I don't know, maybe." This is a legitimate health concern and you're working at an international airport. How clueless can management be? This place deserves all of its bad reviews.

Do not go to this place, bad food, bad service, the waiter just didn't care and just left in the middle of serving us, another girl had to take care of us. The food looked like it was from yesterday...

Great Service Small portions food selections Not many Food Selections available. Pricing $$$ but we enjoyed the Charcuterie and Olives for a late night snack.

The food was horrible. It tasted like refrigerator. Don't ever go there. And it wasn't cheap at all. We paid for two breakfast plates which we couldn't eat at all, $45.

They forgot the onions on my burger and tried to tell me it was under the cheese. It wasnt. As if i wouldnt check after hearin that excuse. They brought me onions. Then i saw a +4$ charge for the beer. Without asking, they upsold me on the beer for more. They whe in addition to this, i had to go to them to order food because they never stipped at my table. Horrendous service. Avoid it. There are plenty of other options at Terminal 1 and Im sure for the prices this place charges, they are all significantly better.
