The Complete MICHELIN Guide to Paris Hotels

"Following the Soho House model, the Paris outpost provides private co‑working and winter garden spaces for creative meetings, along with a contemporary restaurant for lunch meetings and rooms inspired by Jean Cocteau’s time in the 18th‑century property." - The MICHELIN Guide

The Best Hotels in Paris | Vogue

"Always cool thanks to its cherry‑picked creative clientele, the Paris outpost—housed in an 18th‑century apartment building that once belonged to Jean Cocteau’s family—sits amid the trendy shops, restaurants, and well people of the 9th and Pigalle, with a screening room, pool, Cecconi’s restaurant, and a gym with workout classes if you stay inside. The painting‑only art collection curated by Kate Bryan features contemporary heavyweights, while Cocteau‑inspired sketch‑like murals by Roberto Ruspoli appear in 11 bedrooms; rooms range from 172 to over 1,000 square feet, and even the smallest charm with warm cream walls, jewel‑tone accents, gilded Art Deco‑inspired mirrors, some with exposed beams and freestanding tubs—my favorite detail is the surrealist face throw pillow." - Vogue

The Ultimate Paris Travel Guide, As Curated By Vogue Editors | Vogue

"Set over five floors in a 19th-century apartment building in Pigalle (once home to Jean Cocteau), the Soho House takes a playful, design-forward approach inspired by Jean Royère and Santo Sospir rather than Paris’s grandiose history." - Elise Taylor

Soho House Paris (Paris, Île-de-France) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Soho House has a knack for finding buildings with character, but they’ve outdone themselves with Soho House Paris. This 19th-century apartment building in Pigalle, the former red-light district turned nightlife playground, is distinctive enough on its own terms — but it turns out it was once inhabited by the family of the writer, artist, and filmmaker Jean Cocteau. Today it’s been given the Soho House treatment, which means its style resembles an English country house with an urban Parisian edge, plus a wealth of inspiration from Santo Sospir, Cocteau’s Cap Ferrat villa — and from the Art Deco style that’s more or less synonymous with Parisian luxury." - Tablet Hotels

Went here for lunch while on a long weekend in Paris. Located in a nice area and has a great courtyard area for eating and relaxing. Upstairs there is a very very small plunge pool and another small seating area. Overall on the small side and the service was not great. Took ages to get served and then when it arrived it was wrong and took quite a while to fix. Menu and food pretty standard for SH. Ok to pop into for a quick bite to eat or a drink but nothing more. Cannot speak to the rooms. Wanted to sue the gym but was being refurbished when we went.

I stayed here just for dinner as a guest, otherwise as far as I understand you cannot enter. The interior is absolutely lovely, it looks like entering another dimension Paris is sometimes used to with a minority of bistro out of there, but certainly not all. Great food, averagely priced considering the exclusivity of the club. Great service too, with staff speaking English (certainly due to the Brit origin of this chain). Proper toilet, with disabled access.

Recently returned from a wonderful few days at Soho House Paris.|Discretely located, an oasis of calm, chic and stylish charm. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with genuine smiles and warm hospitality that made us feel instantly at home. Every detail—from the cozy, thoughtfully decorated rooms to the personalised touches—reflected a level of care and kindness.||The service was simply outstanding: attentive without being intrusive, and always delivered with a smile. Whether it was offering local tips, helping with bags, or simply remembering our coffee order, the team went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, special mention to Eugène on reception, so genuine, bubbly and thoughtful, she really made our stay truly memorable, thank you.

I had the most welcome stay, and I just wanted to note Jolene who was on FOH during both days of my stay was so lovely and attentive. I would definitely go and be back.

If you’re tired of sweet breakfasts and feel like having something savory — like cheese, eggs, or an omelet — this is the right choice in Paris. A space that enchants with its refined details. My respect to the architect for design.

Everywhere you look is filled with individuals on their computers and phone or video calls, with bags around and crowding the rather narrow corridors to the bar, restrooms, and so on. The entitlement is palpable — if you just want to pass through, you’ll even get a stare. This is not regulated in any way, and on top of that, people don’t even seem to be having anything beyond water or coffee, occupying the common areas for hours and bringing the atmosphere of a WeWork or any other coworking/office space rather than a Soho House. Not staying at the hotel this time, we won’t return for lunch, dinner, or drinks at this particular location in the near future. It’s pointless. Regarding the service — the meat and salmon were good, above the Houses’ standards. But the waiters seemed lost, or a little careless. They brought water (after about 10 minutes) but with no glasses. Between one dish and another — which should have arrived together — more than 15 minutes passed. It was then that we reminded them about the missing one; they checked and apologized, so we assume it got lost along the way (from a simple order).

It’s okay but the events programming is very sparse compared to other houses and the pool on the terrace is more of a footbath. They’ve changed the beds out too for chairs and tables which is a shame. I think it’s bizarre that Paris, as the world’s creative capital, has just this one house while the company continues to open huge houses in random cities that no one asked for. It gets especially noticeable how ridiculous this is during events like fashion week when the entire world is in Paris and the house is just packed with people. Gym also has a rule that you have to pay 2€ if you take more than 2 towels, which could be donated to an organisation like Greenpeace but is instead donated to WWF, who arm and fund paramilitaries in Africa to go and terrorise indigenous communities. When I pointed this out to them last year they didn’t really care and haven’t changed anything.

Beautiful house and lovely staff! We felt very welcome and the food was excellent and very fairly priced for how good it was. Chamo was a pleasure to meet and really was the highlight of our lunch. We will be back very soon.
