What a fantastic place! The food was excellent. Sake Pop Rocks blew our minds! The blue fin black truffle was my favorite. The cocktails were amazing and service was exceptional! My husband said this was his favorite sushi experience ever.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a hidden gem that has left an indelible mark on my culinary experiences. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was inviting and the staff greeted us with warm smiles, setting the tone for what would be an unforgettable meal. We started with some classic dishes: miso soup, seaweed salad, and a sashimi platter. While these are staples in many Japanese restaurants, what set them apart here was the chef's extraordinary touch. The miso soup was perfectly balanced, with a depth of flavor that hinted at hours of meticulous preparation. The seaweed salad was crisp and refreshing, with a delightful hint of sesame that complemented the natural flavors of the seaweed. The sashimi was the star of the show. Unlike the thin slices you often get elsewhere, these pieces were thick and long, showcasing the quality and freshness of the fish. Each bite was a revelation, bursting with flavor and melting in our mouths. The presentation was immaculate, reflecting the chef's attention to detail and commitment to excellence. One of the most surprising aspects of our visit was the fact that the restaurant was nearly empty. Given the exceptional quality of the food, we were shocked that more people weren't flocking to this place. It almost felt like we had discovered a secret that we couldn't wait to share. The chef's hospitality added another layer to our delightful experience. He graciously gifted us some tamagoyaki (Japanese omelette), and it was divine. Light, fluffy, and slightly sweet, it was a testament to the chef's versatility and skill. We devoured every dish, not leaving a single crumb behind, which is a true testament to how delicious everything was. After such an extraordinary meal, we couldn't resist trying the dessert, and we opted for mochi. It turned out to be the best dessert ever. The chewy layer on the outside had the perfect consistency and thickness, with just the right amount of flour so it didn’t stick to our mouths or teeth. The mango flavor was outstanding, tasting incredibly real and fresh. The same goes for the strawberry and green tea flavors. We enjoyed the mochi so much that we ordered another round. It was a delightful end to our meal, leaving us thoroughly satisfied and already planning our next visit. Despite being from Houston, we couldn't help but wish this restaurant was closer to home. If it were, we would undoubtedly become regular patrons. Its location, a bit off the beaten path from the Strip, might deter some visitors, but I assure you, making the trip is more than worth it. Missing out on this culinary treasure while in Las Vegas would be a regretful oversight. In summary, this restaurant offers an exceptional dining experience that goes beyond just good food. It's about the passion and craftsmanship of the chef, the warm hospitality, and the authentic flavors that transport you straight to Japan. Whether you're a local or a visitor, do yourself a favor and make this place a priority on your dining list. You won't be disappointed.

Google
This place is amazing!!! We tried this place off of the reviews, and wow, it did not disappoint! The service was awesome, Justin was the best, he took very good care of us. Very knowledgeable, his recommendations were on point, and he made dinner fun and enjoyable. The food, top notch. Everything tasted so good, fresh, and flavorful. My favorite was the Sanriku Roll, but the Roulette Roll was the best part of dinner. If you like to have fun and are a little adventurous, this is a must try….that’s all I will say. Salmon Skin Salad, Hamachi Serrano Yuzu, Salmon Lover Roll, and Salmon avocado roll were all so good. We will be back….when you come in, ask for Justin, you won’t be disappointed.

Google
This place is absolutely incredible! We went during happy hour and we got to try a bunch of small plates/sushi, which is great if you want to try a little bit of everything! The sashimi melts in your mouth and is so fresh. It was one of the best Japanese restaurants that I have ever been to in my life. When we went, we had to make a reservation, so just check or call the restaurant cause it gets pretty busy during happy hour and dinner time. I highly recommend this restaurant and the servers were very nice and helpful! I also suggest getting dessert cause it was just the icing on the cake after the amazing meal we had.

I loved this place. It's been my go to restaurant for so long. I take family and friends here. I encourage anyone who asks for dinner recommendations to go. Having said that I have noticed the quality slipping over the last few months. It wasn't terrible, it just wasn't as good as it use to be. Until today. My friend and I decided to order takeout. We ordered tempura shrimp, the plate not a roll, bang bang shrimp, lamb chops and gyoza. Simple enough. The waitress specifically asked if we wanted a tempura roll or plate. I said not the roll please, a plate. We got our food. I should have checked but I didn't. That's my fault. We get home and the first box we open is the tempura shrimp roll. I specifically said no roll. Checked the receipt, it said roll. Then the bang bang shrimp, my absolute favorite dish on the menu. I don't know what it was they gave us but it wasn't bang bang shrimp in addition to the fact that it was so spicy it was inedible. I get this dish all the time. It's never looked or tasted like this before. The lamb chops come with confit potatoes. Again whatever spicy sauce they are using made the potatoes inedible. We threw it all in the trash except the gyoza. $60 in the trash. Maybe not a big deal to some people but $60 is a big deal when it just goes straight to the trash. We went to the Chevron and got chicken. At least with them I know the quality I'm expecting. I loved this place so much but again the quality has been slipping and this was just it for me. I won't go there anymore and I won't recommend it anymore.

Google
We came here on a recommendation and we were not disappointed. We tried a number of items on the menu and were impressed with each and every one. The fish was fresh, textures amazing, and we wanted to keep eating even after we were full. We would definitely recommend this sushi place, and will have to go back the next time we are in Vegas!

Google
Very impressed with this place. The ambience inside was spot on. I take notice of not only upscale, clean-feeling interiors (nice marble surfaces here!), but music as well. It was a modern electronic sounding music that gave it a great vibe. I would recc it for dates too (reminds me of Taru sushi a little actually). Any sushi place in Vegas can do a decent roll and fresh sashimi, but on my first visit, this place impressed me for both sushi presentation and price both. Looking forward to going back!!!

Lynn V.

Yelp
Great food and awesome vibes for a low key night. Ambiance: Super chill on a Sunday night. Throwback music playing in the background really makes for a cool vibe. Service: Really friendly and quick. The host/server was so sweet, so shoutout to him! Food: We got the chicken karage, cajun albacore sashimi, and then the specials of the day with the blue fin trio and spicy himachi roll. Everything was so fresh and flavorful! Combos of sauces really made for a mouthwatering experience. The trio was also very flavorful and fatty as blue fin should be. They definitely got the good fish supply. Overall, great place for reasonable sushi. Would definitely recommend and come back!

Yelp
Among the best omakase I have ever had. John and his staff are passionate about their work and it shows. Their imagination during my omakase dinner rivals time spent in Tokyo for presentation and quality. As the saying goes; 'come early, come often'

Tanya S.

Yelp
Food was fresh - I enjoyed it (although whatever they put on the broccoli was super salty) Hubs didn't care for it. He's basic & doesn't do raw anything - he wanted a bento box, which they didn't have therefore he did not leave full or happy. I would go back to try other menu options, but not with the hubs/only with someone who appreciates sushi.

Heather B.

Yelp
Service was fantastic. We were seated upon entering and drinks were quickly brought over. Our server approached the table and introduced himself. He remained attentive throughout our meal. Our table ordered the tuna tacos, spicy edamame and the rock for appetizers. All three were VERY good. Would not hesitate to order again. I would caution that the spicy edamame is quite spicy (we like things hot so it was a perfect level of hot). I ordered the boujie roll and it was 5 out of 5. Taste - perfection! I would go as far to say one of the best rolls I have ever had - anywhere. Although the restaurant is located in a strip mall please do not be deceived. The interior is up to date and is very clean. A wonderful place to take a date or friends.

Yelp
My friend and I had reservations for 6pm on a Wednesday night. We wanted to try a non-AYCE sushi restaurant. We arrived a little early, promptly seated and were informed that happy hour was until 6pm. We ended up ordering from the Happy Hour menu. Everything was delicious. Fish were fresh. Portions were just right. The only thing we ordered which was not in the happy hour menu was the dessert - the churros with green tea ice cream was okay. Our server was nice and friendly, was easy to find and checked on us regularly. Ambiance - good size and tables arranged not too close to each other. It is well-lit. It was not too crowded when we were there, thus, was not loud. Dining area and restroom were both clean. A bit pricey if ordering from the regular menu. Reservations through Yelp available. There is a parking lot in the strip mall.

Yelp
Discovering this restaurant was a delight. Jessie, the sushi chef who joined the team just two weeks prior has added so much value and elevated my dining experience. His recommendations were spot on, and his engagement with guests added a layer of warmth to the dining experience. It's clear that sushi isn't just a job for him--it's a passion cultivated over two decades of mastery. Even accommodating my dietary restrictions with ease, Jessie's skill and knowledge shone through. In a strip mall setting, Jessie brings a level of excellence typically reserved for finer dining establishments. Each bite was a testament to his expertise, with standout dishes like the Yellow Tail Yuzu and Salmon Belly leaving a lasting impression. Thanks to Jessie and the team for an unforgettable dining experience--I'll certainly be back for more culinary delights. My Party Ordered: (My recommendations/ would order again will have *) 1. *Yellow Tail Yuzu- was amazing. Perfect texture and flavor 2. Bluefin Black truffle 3. *Salmon Belly -was amazing as well. We enjoyed dipping it in the sauce that came with the Yellow Tail Yuzu. 4. *Scallops -so delicious and was soo fresh 5. *Chutoro - was phenomenal! Thanks for the recommendation Jessie (we couldn't decide between the Chutoro or the Otoro) 6. Yellow Tail (Belly Side) 7. Amaebi - the head was perfectly crispy just to my preference. PS: I was told they make churros in house and recommends the green tea churros. (I didn't try them this time around but will give it a bite next time I'm in town).

Yelp
Came here for happy hour one day with my friend, and it was so empty inside on a weekday (probably because we went at an odd hour, but soon enough when we left it was super busy). Honestly it was nice since we got seated right away and it was quiet and food came immediately. Nice to catch up lol We ordered the orange salmon, chicken karage, baked green mussels, chicken wings and a salmon roll. My favorites were the baked green mussels and salmon roll. She liked the chicken dishes the most. I was surprised about the portion sizes for happy hour! We also ordered a couple cocktails! Would highly recommend for happy hour. The restaurant is cute and great spot to catch up and enjoy some food!

Yelp
It's 12:19pm -sign and online says they open at 12pm. Unfortunately, the doors are locked . We were super excited to try this place. Hopefully the staff shows up today and it's just a one off

Denise V.

Yelp
Staff nice but food is over rated. Tuna not fresh . They put heavy mayonnaise sauce on most dishes to cover up quality of fish, which was not fresh. Cooked dishes were very salty. Place is ok but not my recommendation for good sushi.

Jeffrey T.

Yelp
Wow. Did not disappoint. Fish was very fresh. Will absolutely be back. Beats out most of the AYCE sushi in Vegas.

Steven P.

Yelp
My wife and I hit this on our way out of town on a Sunday. Not far from the airport, which was a plus. Found it via Yelp! Thanks Yelpers! Happy hour 12-6 on this Sunday. Lots of drink specials but the food specials were fantastic. Lots of great options from $8-$12 or so. Sushi menu was extensive as well, combining creative sashimi and inventive rolls as well. Plenty of cooked items also are available. We started with a trio of sashimi dishes - tuna tataki, salmon yuzu, and the ever popular yellowtail jalapeno. All were phenomenal - wonderful flavors and super fresh fish. Rolls followed - soft shell crab, salmon lovers. Both were delicious and not over-riced! Nothing is worse than too much rice in a roll! I saw a pic on Yelp (thanks again Yelpers) and ordered by showing our server a pic. It was a raw oyster with ikura (salmon roe) on top. Salty, briny, and such a fresh taste of the sea. We finished with chicken karaage - fried chicken bites... perfectly crunchy with a just right curry mustard... asked for some truffle aioli as well. Both made for yummy dipping. Would prefer white meat chicken as it appeared to be dark meat. Cinnamin was our server and was attentive, friendly, and helpful. We were one of two tables however, but I can tell she's on top of things no matter the crowd. The restaurant was clean, modern looking, and has TVs displaying some amazing 4k video of Japan. Give it a try - it's a great find off the strip!

Charlene C.

Yelp
Such a cute restaurant with amazing food and service!!! Had a reservation for 8pm on a Saturday and we were immediately seated and taken care of. Food was fantastic and the sushi was so fresh! This will definitely be my husband and I's new go to sushi spot. Also would like to thank our server Justin for making our experience 10x better!

Peggy C.

Yelp
It's always time for happy hour! Soho Japanese restaurant, offers you a huge selection of happy hour drinks, cocktails and food options! What a perfect place for lunch when you are in need of happy hour! They have a huge selection of sashimi specials on their happy hour menu! The food comes out quickly, and the staff is very attentive.

Miyuki I.

Yelp
We love happy hours but we ordered a lot . They have Santa Barbara Uni which we love. It's so good tho . Everything was good overall.

Teri C.

Yelp
Recently visited Soho and immediately noticed their upgraded set up. They added more seating along the left, which gives it a lounge appeal. We were told they changed ownership over a year ago already! Soho was always known as having one of the best happy hours in town with an extended menu of food and drinks. It was always packed and reservations were a must if you wanted to score one of the coveted spots. I was pretty surprised to see how empty the place was on a Sunday evening, especially during happy hour. What really surprised us further was the much scaled down happy hour menu. They have $7 Small Plates and Classic Rolls, $8 Sashimi Plates, and $7 Cocktails and House Drinks. We ordered our staples, some being on the happy hour menu and others no longer anymore. We didn't even order beverages and our bill was about $140 for our party of four, two of which were kids. That was a bit of sticker shock, especially because we left hungry. Things we ordered: * Salmon Pop Rocks - A super popular dish that we all love, but when you're ordering 5 of them, it adds up! * Crispy Brussel Sprouts - No longer a happy hour item menu unfortunately. * Spicy Tuna Roll HH - underwhelming * Salmon Avocado Roll HH - They have changed it from an 8 piece roll to a 5 piece roll, and no longer uramaki-style, which was with the rice on the outside. * Salmon Skin Roll HH * Soho Sliders - These little burgers used to come three to an order, but they are now two and also no longer part of the HH menu. They weren't quite as good as they used to be sadly. * Truffle Fries They also charge for a side of spicy mayo sauce, which before they did not. I don't mind the charge, but it should always be told ahead of time. Service was great - our waiter was attentive and was the only one working the whole time we were there. Not an issue when there's only a couple of parties dining. They also added an automatic 20% service charge for our party of 6. Again, something I don't mind but it should be noted on the menu or told ahead of time. Overall, Soho has slid to the bottom of our list of restaurants to hit up.

Yelp
Ordered from SoHo Japanese Restaurant to go. Everything I ordered was amazing! Would go again and try in-person

Mae T.

Yelp
Went to Soho to try their happy hour menu. We wanted sushi but didn't want to do AYCE this time. We parked right in front and noticed the open sign wasn't lit but it was open. We walked in and the dining room was empty! It was very spacious with a lot of seating. We were seated right away. We were given a couple menus but we stuck with the happy hour one. We ordered the Chicken Karaage, Shrimp Tempura Roll, Spicy Salmon Roll, Mountain Fuji Roll & the Cajun Albacore Sashimi. Our food came out quickly which we hoped for since we were the only ones in there. The Cajun Albacore Sashimi came with 5 good sized pieces and presentation was nice. It was my favorite of our order. It was fresh and the sauces were really good. The Chicken Karaage was a big serving. The chicken was seasoned well, crispy and juicy. The sauce is a mustard type but it was very good. On to the rolls - the Mountain Fuji was deep fried and usually don't order deep fried but it was good. It had cream cheese which I love and it also has a nice kick as did the other rolls. The Spicy Salmon and Shrimp Tempura were wrapped in seaweed which we haven't had in awhile. We've been used to just rice rolls. The salmon roll had some spice and the shrimp tempura was drizzled with a little too much sauce but both were still good. The rolls are on the smaller side but it was enough for us. Our server was great, she refilled our waters and checked on us often. Happy hour prices not too bad. Our bill was $43 before tip. Would come back again.

Darren R.

Yelp
Sushi was warm when came out. Ran out of items . Too much spicy Mayo every dish. Unorganized and not sure who gets what. We were at bar and items took too long to come out. Not coming back. Not authentic sushi.

Arev M.

Yelp
A very nice place, clean and organized. The food was great as well as the service. The wait time was not long. We walked in and were seated within seconds. The servers were very nice, friendly, and understanding. The only matter was that the food was late. We probably waited almost 30 minutes to receive our orders, which was concerning. Other than waiting, everything was so nice . It was my friend's birthday on that day and I really appreciate for the little surprise birthday celebration... You are awesome!! We really had a great time!!

Davida H.

Yelp
We thought the seafood in ALASKA was fresh.....The seafood at SOHO was fresh and amazing!!!!! Melt in your mouth Salmon, the rolls were amazing!! Had to order some of the rolls twice, they were so good!! The appetizers, scrumptious. The Service was amazing!! We sat down and were waited on immediately by Soho's friendly staff. We had a group of 6 with a baby and toddler and they made sure we were comfortable and made sure there was something for the toddler to eat. I highly recommend this restaurant that anyone who loves sushi and are open to trying a different variety of fish. Try the specials, enjoy the food!! IT'S AMAZING!!

Vanja S.

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem We come all the way from practically Boulder city to get here. It's worth the drive.!! Come for the happy hour. The Five stars all the time still good crowd we just talking about it we're like yeah yeah happy hour menu still has amazing sushi half the price and they have drink specials as well. You will be impressed and it will be your new go to!! oh I forgot to mention the service is on .5 stars always!!

Traci H.

Yelp
https://www.instagram.com/p/CR9RZlspL8v/?utm_medium=copy_link This is a dining must if you're coming to Las Vegas, off the beaten path & well worth the short hop off "The Strip" Quality, selections & service are excellent! Everything is fresh, the ambiance is relaxing, and you don't feel rushed through your dining experience! All of the team are amazing front of house to back! You'll be happy you made the decision to come #SOJO Tell them Traci recommended you!

Connie K.

Yelp
Soho truly impressed with its array of delicious and fresh dishes. One standout for me was the salmon carpaccio with pop rock, offering a delightful and playful twist that elevated the dining experience. Our waiter went the extra mile, treating us to some complimentary samples, which added to the overall enjoyment of the evening. The ambiance of Soho strikes the perfect balance, making it an ideal spot for a romantic date night. All in all, with its enticing dishes and attentive service, Soho proves to be a memorable dining destination worth revisiting.

Lilly P.

Yelp
Excellent dining experience. Glad I decided to stop by and try out this spot for the second time. I was greeted immediately and seated right away. To my surprise, the restaurant was renovated and looks completely different from before. Much more modern, clean, and upscale. Servers were accommodating and professional. Here's what I ordered: Flying fish roll: Love the crunch from soft shell crab. The roll was good bite size pieces. Sashimi with truffle oil and caviar: My favorite of the night. Excellent blend of flavors. Delicate and delicious! Overall, great dining experience here. For the Southwest area, it's a great sushi spot. Definitely will come back. Recommended to try out!

Brian S.

Yelp
I have been here a couple of times. The food is excellent and the sushi is outstanding. I have enjoyed many varieties of sushi and some teriyaki entrees on my visits. The service is pretty good and the servers are well versed on the menu. They have always steered us in the right directions on what to order on a given day. The restaurant is in a strip center and nothing special to look at from the outside but looks appropriate on the inside. A good looking sushi joint with solid food. This is a great choice for a meal.

Karen E.

Yelp
Loved everything about this. From Elbert and Anna great customer service to the hot and delicious food to the openness of the restaurant. We ordered a lot of items and shared. Our favorite is the hot rock wagyu beef. Marinated perfectly that we ordered more. Also liked the karaage chicken and bluefin truffle. 21 piece sashimi was fresh and decadent.

Monet C.

Yelp
The location is very beautiful on the inside. It's in a small shopping center next to a gas station but seems like a great place you bring friends. The yellowtail is fresh but could use more flavor. The Lobster Roll is delicious- lots of flavor . Oysters were crunchy and tasted frozen. I've been eating oysters since 2015 these need some help. But the white tuna is yummy with a lot of flavor!

Angelo B.

Yelp
The sushi rolls were good enough that you do not need to dip them in soy sauce. The baked mussels are a must try! Soft crab shell roll was the best!

Robin S.

Yelp
Love the food here. Tuna is always fresh and delicious. Love my monster veggie roll!!!

Ani A.

Yelp
Perfection!! Okay where do I begin?? I am beyond satisfied with my experience at Soho. From the moment we walked in, my boyfriend and I felt so welcome. The customer service was exceptional, but the food was above and beyond. We are LA locals and sushi lovers, so we had to try this place out since we were visiting Vegas. Every single dish was unique and tasted super fresh. We tried many plates, but my favorite had to be the Salmon Carpaccio. It literally just melted in my mouth. Yum!!! There was also a Russian Roulette roll which was fun because it had one super spicy piece and whoever was the lucky one to have it, had to take the sake shot it came with. I thought that was super fun and different than other places. Another plus is that they had a full bar!!! I had delicious cabernet that went perfect with my sushi. If you are looking for a place with super fresh fish that melts in your mouth, variety of options for every craving, full bar, and great customer service, this is your spot!!! My boyfriend and I cannot wait to go back and try more dishes. This time I may starve myself the week before, so I have more space :)

Kristen N.

Yelp
Went in for a late lunch like 3:30 and found out they have happy hour every day. So grabbed a couple $5 beers and a few items from the happy hour. some were better than others but what got them this rating was we got two negi hamma rolls on soy paper. so they were just ok but when we paid the bill i noticed that we paid for negi toro rolls and an up charge for soy paper. Did i mention these tiny little 6 piece rolls were $38! Are you kidding me? Now did not realize this until we got home...or i would have said something. the other issue we had is our server, who was a nice enough kid, was using a dust pan and broom before and after he picked up to deliver our food and drinks. ewwwww

Steven W.

Yelp
Really good sushi spot with reasonable prices. Fish was fresh, rolls were unique but I liked how they were NOT slathered with eel sauce. I personally dislike when you can't even taste the roll or fish because of the sauce. I also ordered the limited hamachi and salmon collar, highly recommend these if they are available

Gene P.

Yelp
So much of what makes a great restaurant is an accurate anticipation of need. That's what this place is. As soon as we walked in with a last minute request on our equally last minute Bernard, the manager, saw us walk in with the stroller and immediately beelined to our host and waitstaff, Ana, to an crowded corner that allowed us to spread out. Learned later that a large party was arriving shortly after us and again, the anticipation was telling of an experienced management directing an efficient flow of customers. Come to find out it's the famed Egyptian guest-host custom bleeding through the service experience. Ana was great - juggling two responsibilities of hosting and wait service, she made it look easy with the attentiveness without the crowding that others would be hard pressed to emulate. Brussel sprouts were perfectly cooked - not salty or overly spiced. The lobster rolls were out of this world. The lobster truffle tempura is a roll I could live on if that was the only food left to eat. The soho was as equally good. The firecracker was well balanced in textured crunch and savory flavor. Again, overall experience was memorable and one worth revisiting. We'll be back again!

Summer B.

Yelp
Let me tell you all about this amazing Sushi place! Manners wow they pull out the seat for you! They recommend amazing items that are super flavorful & spot on! Elbert was our server super professional sugary and easy to make you feel comfortable! We started with 2 lychee raspbertini that has HKu vodka super smooth & refreshing! We enjoyed bang bang shrimp crispy Brussel sprouts tuna tacos tuna truffles sashimi lobster roll fried gyoza angus sliders salmon pop rocks The music is light and fun! The environment is clean & inviting! The service was on point! Thank you our wonderful experience!!

Daniel D.

Yelp
Downgrading my review to a 1 star... owner responded to my 2 star review for it being a wildly overpriced local sushi spot. This is what I said: "Server was very nice and was accommodating although hot sake was forgotten... which actually worked in our favor because we did not want to stay. It was painfully overpriced. I know it's post Covid but there are better deals out there for sushi. Try Umiya or gorilla sushi." Mind you, it's not in some 5 star hotel. The service wasn't great. The food quality was good but doesn't justify the price point. He compared his restaurant to Mastro's steakhouse. I've literally eaten at the Wynn for the same money. With that attitude sir, you deserve to go out of business. I mean, look at the owner's response. (Attachment below.) He should've said something along the lines of: "We aspire to improve our service and quality to justify..." something or other. Safe to say, we'll never go back. I'm sure most of those good reviews were from the past.

Karen C.

Yelp
I find it really sad, how SoHo Japanese restaurant just went down the drain. Don't get me wrong, food was still ok, atmosphere was good. BUT, I got very turned off by the server who served our table. My girlfriend and I were here on 3/8 a Friday night. The restaurant was not busy at all at 8pm a Friday night. Including ours, there were only 3 tables. As usual we ordered sushi rolls and appetizers. If you label yourself as a Japanese restaurant, I would assume, this place takes pride in making sushi because the variety of sushi takes over half the menu. And guess what? Our sushi didn't come out until 9:30pm when we placed the order at 8:40pm. Two sushi rolls order came out 50 mins after, and we weren't even hungry anymore. Our server, was unapologetic and didn't even give us an apology. We said we didn't want the sushi anymore please take those off our bill. He took the sushi, went back to the kitchen. AND NEVER RETURNED and CHECKED on us again, guess who gave us the bill? The busgirl. Who gave us back the receipt to sign? The busgirl. The whole time we were there, our server was too busy entertaining another table, talking about kbbq places in town, and didn't even come over and check on us once anyways. Vegas has a lot of sushi restaurants and it is competitive out there. Just letting you know, we will take our business elsewhere, somewhere who will appreciate us as customers and NOT looking down on us, because the service from that night was disrespectful and condescending.

Dee E.

Yelp
Server was friendly and made great recommendation. Atmosphere was chill and calm. I personally liked the fish tacos and sashimi.

Minet L.

Yelp
Decent sushi, the place is small and cozy. Service is good, for me it's an okay sushi 7.5 out of 10

Yelp
This place is amazing!!! We tried this place off of the reviews, and wow, it did not disappoint! The service was awesome, Justin was the best, he took very good care of us. Very knowledgeable, his recommendations were on point, and he made dinner fun and enjoyable. The food, top notch. Everything tasted so good, fresh, and flavorful. My favorite was the Sanriku Roll, but the Roulette Roll was the best part of dinner. If you like to have fun and are a little adventurous, this is a must try....that's all I will say. Salmon Skin Salad, Hamachi Serrano Yuzu, Salmon Lover Roll, and Salmon avocado roll were all so good. We will be back....when you come in, ask for Justin, you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Took my hubs here for dinner yesterday and we loved it! The service was amazing! The servers were so nice and helpful throughout our dining experience. We enjoyed the food we got as well! The sashimi's were so fresh and delicious! And the bang bang shrimp was on point as well! They have this thing called "Japanese roulette" that you can order. Basically six rolls of sushi and one has this extremely spicy roll. Quite fun playing that game lol, I ended up with the spicy one and boy did that spice really flare up lol. Will definitely come back again!

Yelp
We went on a Sunday at 5p during their happy hour and the food was freshly made and the fish was fresh. We ordered too many items (our eyes were bigger than our stomachs. Lol). Our favs were the mixed tempura, Wings and the Soft Shell Crab Roll. We also ordered the salmon skin salad, sliders, salmon Avocado roll and Moutain Fuji Roll. The staff were efficient and courteous. Next time we in Vegas, we will add this to our list of restaurants we really liked!

Yelp
Great food. Great service. Affordable prices. You really need to try it. They have happy hour prices 12:00 to 6:00pm.

Yelp
This place is amazing. Always comes correct. The food is CONSISTENTLY good. The price is Definitely fair, and the service is impeccable. I tried a few new items and they were delicious. Not many restaurants have a house Nigori. It was delicious. Been coming here for years and will continue recommending this spot.

Yelp
It's been a couple of years since we visited SOHO, but unfortunately, we didn't like how things were now. It used to be a hopping busy sushi spot where locals go to enjoy quality food, but it was pretty dead and the vibe was quite dull. Our waitress was great, however. She was knowledgeable and friendly. But the main reason we will probably not go back is the food quality. Not everyone w/ a sushi knife can make great sashimi or nigri. Sorry, chef but we get spoiled here in Vegas w/ some great sushi chefs.

Yelp
3.5 for food, 5 for service. The menu here is quite large with standard sushi offerings such as a rainbow roll to specialty rolls like their Flying Fish roll. For the most part it was good especially as we were there and the happy hour menu was in effect. There was also a Yelp check-in discount. The fish was fresh but in the end it wasn't spectacular. On the recommendation of our super friendly and attentive server, I ordered the Flying Fish roll. Soft shell crab layered with tuna, salmon, and yellowtail. I felt that the roll was a bit drowned in sauces. Also got: Spicy salmon roll Mixed tempura Soft shell crab roll Pork skewers All good though not mind blowing and at happy hour prices all were decent buys. A surprise winner was the bronze broccoli. Broccoli flash fried with wontons . The ponzu sauce made it bright and I liked this one a lot. Good stop if you want to get away from the Strip.

Yelp
Sadly the service was beyond slow and terrible. We would wait forever for our orders. It was very displeasing having to wait so long for each order to arrive. We also order edamame and waited and waited. Finally asked and was told that hey ran out. Would have been nice to be informed prior. Food was ok but not worth the price. Would not recommend this place.

Yelp
Food here is great and the service is even better. Try the Japanese roulette I promise you won't regret it. The best thing you can order here.
