Four Austin Bars Lose Liquor Permits Over COVID-19 Violations Temporarily | Eater Austin

"I found that Soho Lounge on East Sixth had its liquor permit temporarily suspended by the TABC for 30 days effective June 22 as part of the agency’s COVID-19 enforcement; the lounge originally opened on East Sixth in 2007 and switched to new owners in 2017." - Nadia Chaudhury

Class A hole in the wall it was disgusting I was charged $20 at door the bartender didn’t know how to make a lemon drop I had to get a cranberry and vodka he wasn’t a real bartender looked like the people who where their were like mostly 18-20 year olds. It was very dirty I mean trash everywhere and the title was coming off the floor. It was just nasty I defiantly wouldn’t recommend this business to anyone .

Well it was a nice little hole in a wall when I visited my home area of Antioch back in 2019. But with the most recent shooting, and it seems to be attracting more and more clientele that has nothing but bad intentions every night. Also it seems to be a magnet area for takeovers by the drag racing at the intersection right there of Bell, and Murfreesboro. Between there and the bars up near the international market this area is a stay away from unless it gets under control, because right now it's out of control.

Lmao this is now a club for teenagers . Super ratchet and entry fee was $20. Wouldn’t even come here for free. Parked my car in front of the club and was praying the entire time it doesn’t get broken into. Almost choked inside cos literally everyone was smoking . The pictures for this club are from 3-5 years ago, doesn’t look no where like it anymore. The audience definitely changed. I came in at midnight , ordered a drink which was over priced and bartender seem clueless too , I left at 1223 😂

Me and two girlfriends ordered three drinks. Don’t ask me how, but there were literally flies in EVERY. SINGLE. DRINK. We laughed it off because we hadn’t paid for the drinks, but it does suck that we paid a $60 entry fee just to not be able to drink. The lights and music were great. But the entry fee is way too high for a terrible experience. Only for me to leave sober and confused.

Customer service could have been a lot better. We asked for food and employee said to "go next door". Couples of minutes later a nice lady actually brings us the menu which helped a lot. Employees sitting at the bar makes you confused who works there when you walk in and they didn't come up to us until about 5 minutes of sitting at the bar. My girlfriend waved to flag one of the employees down and he just looked at her. The elderly women was the only one that had customer service that night, thank you so much for helping us.

Me and a good friend of mine stumbled upon SoHo Lounge one night when one of our favorite bars was closed. We have been there about 2-3 times total on different nights. There is not a lot of parking, we ended up parking across the street. From what I can tell, parking is free. There was a $10 cover to get in. The place is small with limited seating. It is a hookah bar so keep that in mind. No one came to take our drink orders so we stood at the bar to get our drinks. There was a little wait time for drinks, but nothing crazy. The drink prices were reasonable. This place also serves food that looks good, but we never got to order any because we were never serviced by a waitress or seen a menu any of the nights we were there. There were different DJs each night and some were better than others. Overall they played good music and kept the vibe going. It’s an okay place but not my favorite.

Nice Hookah Bar with great music. However, the customer service absoutley stinks, we were treated very rudely. Cover is $20. The music is so loud so it's not a great place to just smoke and chat with your friends. Wasn't my vibe, but it was still full of people so it may be yours.

First time going. I gave 3'stars because I like the vibe and the music was on point. It was a local crowd "young grown aged 25-35. Loss of 2 because of this... Internet says they close at 3 but charged me $20 at the door about 1 :15 and the lights came on at 2 . It was Saturday 27th...the thunderstorm weekend, and the bar and bathroom had about 1/2 if standing water. Cup of cranberry juice with ice and a small red bull was $11. So for $33 I stood in water and bounced to the beats...you decide....🤷
