My son was craving some authentic ramen, we were visiting down town Riverside and found this little place inside FoodLab, amazing! Since it was our first time ordering it took time to know what to choose, but when the receptionist got our order he was kind enough to review it with us and make the adjustments needed for a kid and adult. It was not only right, it was perfect! We would definite go back to this place and try something different.

Google
First of all, the menu is bilingual with /chinese/ for ラーメン. Big red flag. Yeah, I get that ramen is originally based on chinese-style noodles, but it is from Japan and arguably the national dish of that country. Anyways. The bowl was out quickly enough, about 10 minutes. Strangely, the menu gave me the option to order Dine-In or Take-out, and although I chose Dine-In, my food came out packed to go. The noodles had no bite, in fact, they were mushy. You can see the egg is overcooked. Spicy miso was spicer than I'm used to, potentially to cover up the lack of any distinctive flavor. Too much raw white onion (green was fine). Scarcely edible. Never again. Loved watching One Piece in the hall while I ate, but I'll be hitting up a different restaurant next time I'm at the Food Lab.

This was my second try. Both times were Horrible. The first time, my bento box order took forever. Today, I ordered ramen to go and they are thee onlyyyy restaurant to package the broth with the noodles. Once I got to my hotel, the noodles soaked all the broth up and my food was soggy. The meat was dry and portion was extremely small. The service wasn’t excellent either. They just act so lost and non-chalant! Switch them out! They make tge establishment look bad.

Wouldn’t revisit. I got a roasted eel bowl which comes with broccoli. There’s literally 6 small bites of eel with 2 broccoli florets. The rice portion is 3/4 of a to-go container. I feel like I’m paying mainly for the rice. Eel tastes fine but it’s just bad value for money.

Food was ok. Tempura was so so. The shrimp cheese balls were really good. Workers left everything to be desired. They were more interested in talking to their friends that were visiting them than acknowledging me. My food was taking a while (finished over 20 minutes after I ordered) and I kept waiting near the counter but they didn’t speak to me at all. Good thing they don’t actually take your order because you place it on a self serve kiosk. They could improve a lot by retraining their employees.

This place has had a profound impact on me. My boyfriend and I got the vegan bao buns and vegan ramen. It was so delicious the only way I can describe it is like when you see a cartoon character eating something and you think wow that looks like it would taste so good I wish I could try it. This is the real life version of how satisfying you think that cartoon food would be. The wait is long but it’s worth it just order ahead.

I probably should have checked the reviews before coming on Saturday 7/19 around 4:30pm. I ordered a bento box for my daughter and it took over 40 mins to get! Mind you, it was not that busy. When I asked for an update around 5pm, the cashiers were in disbelief about how long we have been waiting. I guess they had a shift change from morning to night crew and the morning crew just didn’t care to work for their last few minutes there. The second shift crew seemed nice and complained how lazy the first crew was. After 5 mins, we got our meal but at this point, i shared a meal from Monty’s burgers and my daughter didn’t really care for the food. This establishment needs to work on hiring better staff. Last time ordering here. You’re better off eating anywhere else in the riverside food lab, unless you want to wait forever for your food and be disappointed.

Honestly? The food was mid, got an order of “Chashu Pork Bowl” but it’s in a plastic container. It’s like I ordered rice with a side of chashu pork… it took more than 30 minutes to get our order… my friend finished his shawarma he ordered from the next door store, my other female friend ordered a shawarma plate, got her order, and finished it… waaaayyyy before we even got our order. And then it looked underwhelming when we got it. Also, my friend who ordered ramen wasn’t satisfied either. Overall, would not go back to this establishment. I’m usually not that strict when it comes to my food, as long as the portion is the right amount. Both food and service was disappointing.

Yelp
Not sure how this place is still in business. Their food sucks and so does their service. I got the spicy chicken bento box. The chicken sucks and doesn't look appetizing. The whole box was mid. The miso soup lacked flavor. I regret coming here.

Yelp
Located in the Riverside food lab, Soho Ramen is a counter service restaurant. You order through a touch screen. Well, I was hoping for some great ramen... this was not it. We had two bowls of vegan ramen. It came out lukewarm. I think they are throwing cold ingredients into the bowl and adding hot broth resulting in tepid ramen. Some of the add on items were missing, but they did give is a whole box of fried tofu. Overall it was disappointing, poorly prepared fast food ramen. They need some quality control. Cannot recommend.

Yelp
Came to Downtown Riverside to look at Christmas lights so we decided on the Food Lab since theres a variety of options being that its a food court. I was craving some rice so decided on Soho Ramen - huge mistake. Ordered our food and was given a pager. 30 minutes pass and the pager still hasnt gone off so my friend decided to check with the lady at the register. Turns out our food was just sitting there getting cold. Not only did she not apologize for the pager not going off when our food was ready, but she didnt acknowledge it at all. Zero accountability. Took our order only to find that my order was taken wrong and I was given a rice bowl completely different from what i wanted. Not only did they not apologize for the mistake, but they made me pay for the difference, wait even longer for the second time, all for me to get food poisoning and a terrible stomach ache. If i could give 0 stars, i would and I dont even like leaving bad reviews.

Yelp
I think the bulgogi was over salted but made up for it with how much rice there was. Weird cuz that's more of a Chinese-style of cuisine even though bulgogi is Korean. Definitely fills you up.

Greg R.

Yelp
This place would not return a drink after just ONE SIP. Imagine not liking something and wanting to return it and not giving the customer their money back. The owner was very rude as well and won't even speak. The servers and workers are great. But the owner is terrible.
google avatar

Crystal M.

Yelp
I should've known better. The ramen restaurant in the food court that offer fried rice, bulgogi, etc. Why did I think the ramen would be great? Sigh. The Omni pork Vegan Ramen with black garlic was ooooookay. Nothing great but not terrible. Also, why was I given a fork & no chop sticks!?!

Yelp
My wife decided to try the lamb skewers and the steamed buns, although the order took about 25 min, the food was well worth the wait!
google avatar

Anna V.

Yelp
The proportion from rice to meet is ridiculous. You take a few bites of the meat and left with a lot of rice. As for veggies.... One broccoli. How sad. On top of that, the description said the bowl comes with corn. It did not! The price was not worth it for this. The food is mediocre. Save your money and try the other food stalls.

Yelp
My fav place in the food lab! So many yummy gold options at such great prices The people are always v nice about my asking for extra sauces, I always enjoy myself :)

Yelp
I should have read the reviews beforehand! I ordered a rice noodle and the noodles were overcooked, the tofu was cold and the miso base was too salty. I couldn't take another bite...

Yelp
This place is in the Riverside Food Lab and has so many options! I ordered the eel bento box and while it was a lot of food I was surprised there wasn't more eel. Just a few thin strips! But overall the quality of the food was good and it had a lot of good flavor. The bento box came with eel, rice and corn, seaweed salad, steamed veg, dumplings, and miso soup. They had other options like ramen and noodle bowls I'd want to try next time, overall it wasn't a bad choice!

Yelp
Whenever I'm in Downtown Riverside wife my wife/friends and we can't decide on what to eat, I come to the Riverside Food Lab. It's been a few years since I've eaten at this spot but my wife and I were in the mood for some Ramen due to the cold weather. My wife ordered a breaded pork ramen with spicy miso soup base while I ordered the Chashu pork with spicy miso soup base. I was given a buzzer to notify me of when my order was ready. I walked around and got some Thai tea from another spot and then came back when my buzzer rang. The cashier/server in the front asked me "Number 22?" and I responded with yes and she handed me my bag of food. I sat down and opened the bag and my wife told me the order was wrong. We ended up checking the receipt which had a totally different order and then went back to get our actual order. The breaded pork was pretty good. The Chashu was a little on the dry side. The spicy miso base was good and had a decent amount of spice. I'd be willing to come back here if in the mood for ramen while in Downtown but I think I'd take a second to think of whether I should go to Saku Ramen instead near the Mission Inn.

Yelp
I was surprised to see so many bad reviews here of this place. The server was nice and my food was great. It such a busy place, inside the food lab, that I often pass this place up because it's not cold enough for me to want a hot bowl of ramen/broth. The other day it was raining and it was the perfect excuse to stop by for a bowl. I ordered the rice noodle bowl with chicken and it was so good. The bowl had a nice balance of flavors, and the chicken and fresh toppings made it exactly what I was hoping it'd be. So YUM!

Yelp
Authentic Asian food . Wasn't expecting the style I received but still pretty good. Enjoy :)

Yelp
Came to the Christmas lights in riverside with a group of friends, walking about ended up in this restaurants area, after looking around decided to take a to go order for mom she wanted the shrimp fried rice, line was 2 people waiting to order they seemed annoyed of waiting but mom wanted shrimp f.r no worries waiting waiting, the lady behind the counter was abit rude to the girls in front took the order they go off, guy who was next walks up she literally walked away as the poor guy was ordering some older worker dude took his order 3 minutes later, i waited finally told them my order, waited 20+ for that to go to be ready. Long story short mom said rice was dry and not very good at all, when i told her the price she said that's insane well it is what it is. 1 of the worst food spots I've had the disappointing chance to waste $ at. sincerely just don't WASTE your money or more importantly TIME waiting for rude bad food service. Sometimes its just time to pack it up and close shop, soho "ramen"

Yelp
Soho Ramen is a delicious little gem located in downtown Riverside, inside the Food Lab next to the Historic Fox Theater. There are about 8 or more places to eat in the Food Lab, with Soho being one of the better ones IMHO. I honestly don't understand all of the low-rated reviews of this place, to be honest. I've eaten here about half a dozen times and their food has been wonderful each and every time. For those who don't know, Soho is a Ramen Restaurant on steroids. They don't have JUST Ramen, they have a variety of other traditional Japanese fares including Udon, Yakisoba, Beef Bowl, and Rice dishes. It really is a great place to eat when you want to try more traditional, non-sushi Japanese food. My personal favorite is the Chicken Ramen. Something I've found here that I can never find anywhere outside of Japan is an appetizer dish called Okonamiyaki. It's kinda like fried bread with savory sauce and toppings that look a little like a pizza. It's DELICIOUS and I was so happy to finally find it! Their menu really is quite large for a small place, so you have a lot of options to choose from, especially if you're a vegetarian. The prices are a LITTLE on the spendy side but not too much, and the portions are more than filling! The only "meh" thing I can really say is that it's one of the more popular spots inside the Food Lab, so on busy nights and weekends you can expect a wait. Also, bear in mind that they make your orders fresh, so it takes a little bit. Seating can be a bit of a pain too, but that's not their fault. This is because they are sharing seating options with all the other restaurants located in the Food Lab. Seriously, if you're curious about traditional Japanese "ramen-shop" style food and you want a delicious taste experience I highly recommend giving them a try if you're in the area!

Yelp
Worst experience ever! Literally waited over an hour for my order just to find out when I go up for a refund since I need to leave, that the order was waiting there cold on the front counter for who knows how long because they were just so extremely unorganized! The owner also threw a giant fit because I was asking for a refund instead of taking the cold order that I wouldn't be able to eat while I'm driving anyway. He yelled at the young lady in the front as well which was not okay, and I hope she's okay and knows that the chaos that is that restaurant is not her fault and she was doing a great job. Please save yourself and your time and do not go here if you can help it. I wish I could speak to the food but I can't. Godspeed

Yelp
FOOD IS AMAZINGLY GOOD... YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED... At first I didn't think it was going to be that good. I was totally shocked. I'm glad I stopped by. It's tucked away in Riverside but a cool spot. Not expensive at all. Clean food. That chicken I have to come back for... fr fr

Jackie K.

Yelp
This was a f***ing joke of a bowl, my friend genuinely thought the eel was under the rice because there was no way this small amount of eel to a bowl filled to the brim with rice was real and worth $15. She even took it back to show the cashier and the cashier agreed it was a small amount but the chef came up and said that how it comes and they wouldn't offer a refund. Don't even bother to order for here it wasn't even worth the two bites of eel
google avatar

Chad K.

Yelp
Sorry to read so many bad experiences in their reviews. I had a solid bowl of ramen. My only gripe is that the size was somewhat small, but that taste was awesome. I got the Seafood Ramen and the shrimp was plump, fresh and well cooked. There were also mussels and a great broth, so no complaints in that department. Tons of old school Japanese dudes in the back cooking with Kombu seawee leaves, so everything looked really legit. Maybe I caught them on a good day or maybe they reinvented themselves after everyone tore them a new one on Yelp, but I had a great experience. Increase your portion sizes you'll be good to go. Located in the Riverside Food Lab so if you don't like it, you can have plenty of other options from plant-based burgers to tacos, to cajun to choose from.

Yelp
Got an early dinner at Soho Ramen in Food Lab this evening. There was a short line, and the food came out about 10 minutes after ordering. I found the portions to be large for the price! The chicken yakisoba was $14 with tax, and the chicken rice bowl $12, but both were large enough for us to have extras to take home. The sauce on the chicken was delicious, however I found the meat to be a bit chewy. I'd like to come back on a chillier day to try their ramen! I wish the Food Lab had options for less single-use plastics, especially since we dine-in most of the time. The order came with a plastic lid, fork, spoon, and plastic bag.

Matthew L.

Yelp
The single chashu rice bowl I ordered took 25 minutes to come out. And when it did come out, the bowl was four pieces of extremely thin chashu and 85% rice. Traditionally, chashu is made by braising pork belly in a sweet soy sauce. This was literally just unseasoned pork coated in straight up oyster sauce. At least it was tender...
google avatar

Aprille C.

Yelp
This place is in a big food hall with many different eateries from which to choose. I had the pork chasu bento box and he had the eel bento box. They came with soup, tiny seaweed salad, 2 gyoza, rice and some vegetables plus a soda. The pork was a very small portion. The rice was ok. The soup had hardly any flavor.
google avatar

Lily C.

Yelp
Very disappointed. I have been here couple of years ago and I really enjoyed it. I have no idea what happened but I am definitely not coming back....
google avatar

Linda W.

Yelp
I was hoping for a 3 star experience but unfortunately it was definitely a solid 2 star one. I ordered the spicy miso vegan ramen and it was extremely subpar. The soup base tasted a bit diluted and the noodles reminded me of the frozen ramen from Japanese supermarkets - so essentially Soho ramen is the equivalent of frozen Japanese ramen packets but with better toppings (fresh veggies and tofu), at many times the price... Skip! Head over to Saku ramen, much better options there!

Nancy J.

Yelp
I waited 45 minutes for some soggy, stinky smelling like the bottom of the ocean Ramen noodles. It took all of 45 seconds to take my 25 dollars however, after 20 minutes I went to check on my order and they said it will be a few more minutes ,another 20 minutes has pass and at this point I'm done....I asked for my money back because I was no longer interested. The cashier said they can't refund my money because the owner wasn't there....OK what ever 5 min later I received my order, open the lid to an ocean of dead fish not to mention the boiled egg was black. I hate I didn't take a picture to put off by the smell! I tossed it quickly. This was more than a disappointment more so offensive !!! I give this place the finger as in middle!!!! # mathaintmathin

Yelp
Went here last Saturday. Food lab was packed. The girl behind the counter was wearing lingerie and I should have known the food was going to be bad. Long story short, my body ached all Sunday. I had to go to the E.R. where I had to get fluids because I was sick all day. I'm still only drinking fluids. When I contacted the manager, they said no one else complained and refused to refund us. Please don't support this business. I got sick from their food and they still wouldn't refund.
google avatar

John D.

Yelp
The most below average Asian food I've ever had in my life. They excessively excessively overcharge. I've tried numerous foods on this menu to give them the benefit of the doubt and wow..... pure disgusting and pure disappointment. I can not believe the pricing for this incredibly bad food.

Hal L.

Yelp
I've been to this place several times and always order the beef bulgogi. Today, I ordered the same, but when I got back to my hotel, I noticed it was just rice with a tiny bit of bulgogi--it had to be a mistake. So, I walked all the way back to show them the order and ask for more meat. However, the person I assume was the owner refused, saying, "Take the order and go. I will not remake it." I have never experienced anything like that in my life. Be wary!
google avatar

Tim T.

Yelp
Food was salty , the ambiance is packed and the service is alright . Would not come here again. Good try though

Ty S.

Yelp
Returned a $14 chicken bowl because it was literally all rice. Manager got an attitude and couldn't even make eye contact on the return. Stop trying to charge nearly $20 (with extra chicken) for what would be a normal portion anywhere else...Do better.
google avatar

Ashley A.

Yelp
Wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy. So bad. Service is trash. Flavorless. Should have read the reviews.

Anabel G.

Yelp
Came here on a Sunday evening and the food lab was pretty busy per usual! But they took our order right away- the spicy tonkotsu ramen with pork belly was delicious!!! I would definitely get this again I added the chili paste and sriracha and it had a good spicy level and flavor! I also ordered a matcha milk tea with boba, initially they messed up and gave me a regular milk tea so I had to go ask for a new one and then that one did not really taste like matcha at all- you could definitely tell in the picture. It also was really warm/watered down so overall it was ok. We also tried the pork gyoza which was good and I would get again as well. Overall the ramen was delicious, the tea not so much, and the service was decent. Would come back just for the ramen itself!
google avatar

Alisa B.

Yelp
I'm conflicted. This place has great quality bento boxes, but the portions are not very even. My favorite was the Roasted Eel Bento! It came with soup, 2 gyoza, seaweed salad, steamed vegetables, furikake rice with corn, and unagi on a bed of lettuce. When it comes to portions, there's A LOT of rice. Don't get me wrong. The rice is very delicious. It tastes freshly made and even tastes great by itself with the furikake and corn. However, when you compare the rice to the unagi... there's 4x the amount of rice! Very little unagi for the price, which is a shame since it's so delicious. The unagi is warm, tender, and very flavorful. I recommend if you are willing to splurge and absolutely need unagi while in Riverside.

Trilina M.

Yelp
I like this shop out of all the others at Food Lab. The wait time for food gets quite crazy at dinner time, but if you know this is where you're gonna eat then definitely order online. I usually get the beef yakisoba. Portion size is HUGE. Seasoning is well done and the meat is great. You can definitely share this with someone else and maybe get a smaller dish available

Sindhu C.

Yelp
I tried the Vegan Ramen with Miso Soup and fried Tofu on the side. There are options to choose the soup and type of noodles. It was bussin'--absolutely delicious! The quantity was huge, and the service was great. They have outdoor seating, and the vibe is warm and cozy.
google avatar

Cassandra C.

Yelp
The boba needs to be more in the drinks. This is not fitting for such a high end taste of the foods.

Yelp
On a cold wet rainy day, I was craving a nice comforting bowl of ramen. I was excited to try this place. I ordered the miso ramen with chicken and a drink, I was surprised my order was over 20 dollars but figured it must be worth it. First off my soup was not hot, it was lukewarm. There was an egg in it that was an odd brown color and had the consistency of rubber, and the broth flavor was bland and weird. I saturated it with Sriracha sauce to try to just make it somewhat palatable. The chicken in it was ok, I ate about 20% of it just so I wasn't starving. Don't waist your money here.

Ken D.

Yelp
My wife and I went there before going to a performance at the Fox Theater. My wife ordered their Special Seafood Combo. We were told it would take 15 to 30 minutes to prepare. We had an hour before our performance so we figured we had plenty of time. After 25 minutes I went back to see how much longer it was going to be. The girl running taking the orders went to check with the cook. She came back and told us that they didn't have the butter they needed to make it and they were waiting for the owner to bring them some. But she didn't know when he would be there. She tried calling the owner, but he didn't answer. My wife asked if there was anything she could get from them right then, without having to wait any longer. She went to ask the cooks and came back telling us she was sorry, there wasn't anything she could do. Needless to say, by this time we were pretty upset. At this point I asked for a refund. She couldn't figure out how to reverse the charge to my credit card. She went into the back and got one of the cook. He came out and was extremely rude, he asked me what the problem was. I explained to him and he turn to the girl taking the order to ask her. I told him that I just wanted my money back. He kept saying to me that he needed to ask the girl what happened. At this point I was very upset and repeatedly told him that if he needed to find out from her what happened he needed to stop talking to me. He also couldn't figure out how to remove the charge from my credit card and finally just gave me cash. Bottom line is the staff here is either incompetent or rude. DO NOT GIVE THIS RESTAURANT YOUR BUSINESS.

Lydia T.

Yelp
Food was alright. Service was so poor I will not be going again. The guy just stared at us and did not say hi. My family member ordered and the guy did not say thank you. I was sitting down saving a table during this. We got our food and then I went up to ask for more water. The guy was sitting on his phone and told me I could go fill it up in the HAND WASHING SINK. We had just ordered $50 of food and he can't refill my water cup? Better going to the Mexican food place to the right of the hand washing sink. The ppl are real and polite. And they got me a water.

Yelp
Stopped in to have a quick lunch while on jury duty. The Food Lab is close bso I thought a big bowl of ramen would hit the spot on a cool, rainy day. It was right on the money. I had the Spicy Black Garlic tocatsu. The broth was rich and not salty, the pork belly was thin but moist and tender. Spinach was fresh and just wilted, adding a good texture for my chop sticks. The noodles were perfect as was the boiled egg half. I love the magic of pulling the noodles up through the broth and vegetables, steam fogging my vision. I only gave 4 stars because it wasn't hot enough to steam my face! It did warm my belly!

Yelp
Hi Hi Hi Y'all! I decided to try this spot out as the kids suggested foods labs as a cute little spot and oh my GOSH was I disappointed. My tonkotsu ramen broth was SO unflavored, the noodles were WAY too over cooked, and the pork was unseasoned and BLAND. Talk about overpriced too. Please skip this spot as there's so many other spots inside the food labs! I hate to leave negative reviews but I'm speaking nothing more than the simple truth. A 0/10 establishment. ): Hope this helps y'all in the future!

Yelp
Cons: it is pricy. Especially for ramen. Ramen is known for being cheap and delicious. The second part is true but the first part is not- it isn't cheap at Soho Ramen. I'm not sure how they justify charging so much for noodles in broth? Sadly due to this factor I don't know if they will last very long... Ramen should be cheap. Plus the portion is small- medium size. When you get a huuuge bowl at other places. Pros: the ramen is really good. Great flavor and ingredients taste fresh. They have vegan ramen options- THANK YOU. Vegetarian and vegan options are definitely appreciated. The vegan miso ramen was greattt. I loved the fried potatoe cake in it. Soooooo tasty! That was my favorite part. The flavor was really good. It was pretty filling. I do wish it was a bigger portion though. It was steaming hot when I picked it up from the counter. Soho Ramen staff were friendly and nice. The cashier was funny. Service was very fast too; my order was ready in next to no time. Overall I give it a B rating. I would most likely go back. But the price does make me think twice since I could find ramen cheaper and just as good at other establishments.

Yelp
I was a bit apprehensive to try this place out due to the reviews, but my friend decided to go for it since he wanted to have some Japanese curry. It did take quite awhile for his food to come out to him, since during the time span of him ordering, I was able to get my food and drink from Monty's and finish it before he got his. We got the: 1) Curry Katsu Udon: -Curry has just the right consistency, not too watery like at other udon places and not too thick either. A very nostalgic flavor that isn't spicy nor lacking in flavor. -The udon itself was good quality and had a nice chewiness to it that wasn't flabby or disgusting. -The katsu wasn't super crispy or magical and the breading did slip off of it easily, but no over all issues with the meat (not dry at all). It was just alright in comparison to the rest of the dish. 2) Okonomiyaki: -It's a bit small, slightly bigger than my clenched fist. -It's a bit more batter than cabbage, but overall the taste is fine. It's a convenient place to get a quick fix of Japanese food, but obviously nothing like you'd get at Little Tokyo or Sawtelle, so don't hold your expectations way too high.

Yelp
I was lured in by the website, with their seemingly curated menu, should've turned around when I saw the crazy amount of options all blurring together. I've seen enough episodes of Hells Kitchen to know a massive menu is a red flag, but I'd decided I wanted ramen. After 10 minutes I get a to-go bowl that looks nice enough. Not very hot, the miso broth had a good flavor, the noodles were way too firm for my taste and honestly felt closer to okay-ish packaged noodles. The best thing in the bowl was the marinated egg, of which I only received half a slice (???). The meat was good but thin and nothing to write home about. Don't let the trendy surroundings fool you, I could have probably had any of the other restaurants in there and left far more satisfied, and I'll make sure to remember that next time- why'd I think I could get a decent bowl of ramen in Riverside?

Yelp
Was excited to try a new ramen spot then waited over 40 minutes to find out they " lost our order " so after being frustrated asked for a refund the front clerk was helpful and willing helping but then the owner came out only refunded us for our food not the whole thing even though we waited the whole time front clerk offered food and owner took it away so basically waited almost a hour just to get a drink Owner treated us like we did something wrong when we were never rude just asked for a refund since our order was never made

Yelp
Very tasty vegan ramen noodles but honestly the customer service was awful. The cashier acted as if he just wanted me out of there. No smile, no how are you, not even how may I help you. Good food but bad service. Two stars because how you treat your customers makes all the difference. On another side, the noodles were good but not great because they alone didn't have a lot of flavor to them. The creamy sauce was nice. Not too salty but enough for flavor. I understand that tofu merely absorbs the flavor around it. With that being said, the tofu within the soup was plain so it must not have been sautéed with the rest of the dish. The baby spinach was a great touch to the bowl though. Overall food rating is a B-

Yelp
I had a terrible experience at this place on 09/03/2022, at approximately: 8:30pm-9:30pm. I ordered a beef fried rice bowl. It took them about 30-40 minutes to make my order. When I finally got my order, I was starving... I opened up my boxed order, and became very disappointed. I was given about 90% fried rice, and 10% meat. I paid about $13.95 for my meal, it was a very dissatisfying portion. I asked the chef about my food portion, and he advised me that, "in Japan, that's how much beef is served in restaurants." He also stated, "the beef is a lot less then how it is in the United States, or Mexico." I immediately finished all of my beef after just three bites. I do not recommend this place. I also saw a lot of dissatisfied customers due to getting their orders wrong, or taking too long (my fiancé was one of those customers).
