Anytime the starbucks down the street is packed, and you need to get work done, this is a great option. Honestly, I'd come here first if they had a better outlet situation. The space is large with lots of seating, but much of it is in the middle of a big square. If you're not on the edges, no outlet for you. It might seem silly, but I never come without a power strip. Also, as big as the space is, it fills up on Sundays, which is when I'm usually here. You might have some competition for those seats.
Now, on to what matters.
For drinks, these are clearly a step above the starbucks quality. Coffee and lattes are great, and I appreciate that they have a syrup list out (lots of great choices on it, too). But there's something about the irish coffee (irish cream syrup, coffee, whipped cream), that just feels so right. The irish cream flavor is a dream come true for my tastebuds, and it works so well with the actual cream. I could drink it all day.
I've gotten myself into a comfortable chicken salad sandwich rut. If you're going to call your chicken salad the best in the world, which they do, it better at least be unique. Thankfully, they pass that test. It has much less mayo than most, and I don't know what they're using to season it, but it tastes kind of cinnamony. I don't know if it's the best I've ever had, but it's pretty darn close.
They also have free wifi, thank god, but it's spottier service than you'll get most places. It consistently kicks me off for a minute every fifteen or so. Not a huge deal, but a minor annoyance for sure, and it will keep you from streaming anything. Pro-tip they might advertise somewhere, but I didn't see and had to ask a fellow patron: wifi password is their phone number with no spaces or dashes.
