"Gastropub and craft beer bar City Tap celebrates its grand opening in the former Gordon Biersch space on Peachtree Street in midtown, Sunday, February 3, by hosting an epic Super Bowl watch party. Several NFL Hall of Famers like James Lofton, Andre Reed, Jack Youngblood, and Bobby Bell, along with a few other NFL legends, are expected to be in attendance to mix and mingle with party-goers. The $150 ticket allows each attendee to indulge in an open beer and wine bar, soft drinks, and a menu featuring sliders, nachos, crab and corn hushpuppies, and wood-fired pizzas. Complimentary valet will also be available. Doors open at 3 p.m. Watch party kicks off at 4:30 p.m. To reserve tickets, email info.atlanta@citytap.com. City Tap offers over 60 beers on draft, including several German lagers and Belgian ales, as well as local beers from breweries like Monday Night Brewing, Orpheus Brewing, Wild Heaven Beer, and New Realm Brewing. The 10,000-square-foot, two-story restaurant includes a ground floor dining room, mezzanine seating and a bar upstairs, a brick patio out front with a fire pit, and a covered patio on the side of the building." - Ryan Hughley

It was a nice spot. The crowd was laid back and I really liked the openness of this establishment. I had a Long Island which was good, however I’m used to it coming in a larger cup. Hookah was good too. Very smooth and great flavors. My cousin said the salmon sliders were amazing. Beware valet is $40 so I suggest you self-park in the garage around the corner. Also early arrival is suggested as we had to wait 2 hours for a table. Luckily we ended up finding seats at the bar.

Brunch and vibe was perfect! Music hookah drinks. It's not traditionally fancy but still picturesque. The service is friendly and laid back (noticeably but being nice). Food very tasty. Don't expect frills but you will have a good time and tasty food.

The food tasted good but was very small portions for the cost. Also no drink menu what so ever so it makes it harder to order drinks. The service was pretty lack luster. Waitresses won't pre bus or clean the tables even when bringing more food out and there's no room on the table. All in all probably won't be back as it was not worth the money. Also valet parking is 20 bucks.

I want to start by saying the service was amazing! Our server was super sweet, very patient and extremely informative. She had a really dope aura altogether. The sign still says City Tap, so that threw me off a little, but it was really easy to find. Parking is valet only and down the little alley next to the restaurant. We were charged $20, but it's $40 if you want your car in the front instead of in the parking deck. You have the option of keeping your keys or having them lock the keys in the lock box. When you walk in, the inside is beautiful! I mean absolutely gorgeous. My only gripe is that the tables are really low so you can't put your legs under them like at a traditional restaurant. We ordered a hookah with the soigné flavor mixed with mint. We also ordered the mango habanero wings, grouper nuggets and the Buffalo chicken Flatbread. The hookah was a hit. It had a nice fruity flavor and didn't burn out quickly.... and we had it for 2 hours lol. The flavor of the wings were really good, but they're soft wings so if you like your wings crispy, ask for them well done. The grouper nuggets were AMAZING! Zero complaints. I would change absolutely nothing about them. The Flatbread was also really good, but the blue cheese on the Flatbread was super strong and overpowering. If you're not a blue cheese person, get it on the side or without. The sodas are served in a can. I'm not sure if they don't have tap set up yet or won't be getting one, but this is good to know if you're the type to get a lot of refills. Overall, I had a great experience here and I'd love to go back!

Finally, a spot where over 60 people can sit down and enjoy themselves! Unlike many Atl spots, this place has lots of space and I love that! You don’t feel tight and crumbled like most of the other ATL classic spots! I have a feeling this will be Atl’s number 1 summer brunch and happy hour spot if they can maintain their customer experience and wait time. The spot is very dope! I love the decor and the food and drinks were a hit! Now just like every soot in Buckhead/Midtown there is a 20% Gratuity and the drinks aren’t cheap, but it's worth it. all the food bussing!! My fav is the Philly egg rolls!! The dress code is cute and comfy Parking Valet 10.00 RSVP - recommended!! 10/10 will come again!

Visited with a small group for Sunday brunch. The decor and atmosphere was beautiful — even outside the restaurant and in the women’s bathroom was decorated with flowers. We were placed at a very low table that was relatively small. I ordered the Biscoff French Toast with a side of scrambled eggs. The french toast was great, although it didn’t taste much like biscoff cookies. Everyone’s food was visually appealing. There were some issues with incorrect orders and a communication problem with the server, however we had a good experience overall.

Really great ambiance -- this is a nice spot to watch the games and/or come for a hookah. I was a bit disappointed with the bar selection though. The drink menu is extremely limited. I finally opted to order the La Vie en Rose which looked really pretty on the menu image, but once received it looked like a standard martini. No specialty glass, nor garnish. To eat, I ordered the chicken pesto flatbread. It was good, and filling. If I ever return during dinner hours, I would definitely stay in the flatbread lane. The portion sizes of the other entrees don't align with the prices. Although as a whole everything seems overpriced, I plan to give Soigne' Garden another shot for brunch one day. I will post another review when I do.
