Boston’s Winter 2020 Restaurant Closings - Eater Boston

We went here to celebrate my daughters birthday. Great choice by her! The soju pitcher was amazing, strawberry lemonaide, but it can sneak up on you because it goes down so easy. The appetizers we got were phenomenal! Crunchy corn, pork dumplings kimbop and cheese katsu. All very delicious. We will definitely be back when in the area. The service was fast and exceptionally friendly. Food was served quickly and came to the table hot.

Sojuba – Fenway’s Rooftop Hidden Gem 🍹🍜🎶 Last night I had the pleasure of attending Nice AF, an urban rooftop event at Sojuba, and wow — the vibes were 🔥. The first floor felt like a full-on nightclub: colorful lights, a live DJ, and plenty of space to chill or dance. But let’s talk food — because the Korean fusion menu is a foodie’s dream. Our table couldn't get enough of the soy spicy fried chicken — crispy, sweet heat perfection. We also devoured the crab scallion pancakes, garlic noodles, veggie fried rice, beef ribs, and fried shrimp dumplings. To top it off, we had a refreshing strawberry lemonade pitcher for the table. After dinner, we headed to the rooftop — music bumping, fully stocked bar, and even a bathroom up there (a game-changer!). Whether you're here for the food, the party, or both — Sojuba is a must-visit in Fenway. #Sosujba #FenwayNights #NiceAFEvent #RooftopVibes #KoreanFusionEats #BostonEats #FoodieInBoston #UrbanVibes #SoySpicyChicken #KoreanFoodie #BostonFoodScene #FoodWithVibes #StrawberryLemonadePitcher #CrabScallionPancakes #GarlicNoodlesLove #KoreanNightlife #RooftopEats #LateNightEats #GoodEatsBoston #InstaFoodie

Been here a few times but it’s my friend’s first time here and he enjoyed it! Food is delicious and service is good as always.

Google
This place looks really cool inside, but that’s where the positives end. Service isn’t just bad, it’s nonexistent. Not once did the server ever come by without being summoned. Bibimbop bowl was basically a huge bowl of rice with the thinnest layer of toppings. It looked good, but was a total joke. Still starving after that, I ordered steamed vegetable dumplings, which couldn’t have been blander. And as a pescatarian, I struggled to find anything decent on the menu. Zero chance I would ever go back.

Google
This was legitimately the worst chicken fried rice I've ever had. The difference between the picture on the menu and what I got was like the difference between a frozen TV dinner box and what it looks like finished. It was horrible in every way, the only redeeming quality was that it wasn't raw, I guess. When you're paying $20 for some of the cheapest ingredients in the world, you expect it to be actually good. This fried rice honestly just left me depressed with how bland and unappetizing it was. Tasted like there was no seasoning at all, not even salt. The rice looked like maybe it got a 30 second stir fry. The chicken was dry, chewy and bland. No flavor at all in this dish. I would have rather gone hungry than waste $20 on this food unfit for human consumption. That's basically what I did anyway, I took maybe 5 bites and threw it away.

Been here for multiple birthdays, it’s been great! The aloe soju and Yakult soju pitchers are so good, tastes literally like juice! The Korean food is okay, it’s not the most amazing, definitely worse than if you’d just go to a Korean restaurant. The tteokbokki isn’t as soft as I’d like, the ramen is simply Shin ramen (but for 10x the price lol), the wings are good but they’re really sticky and not as meaty as I’d like. The food is still good, but if you’re coming here for food, you’d be disappointed. The service is really good! The waiters are very nice and are quick with service. The atmosphere is great, love the music they play. Except oftentimes the music cuts out and randomly changes to a different song. Kills the vibe a little, wish there was a DJ (which they do have a booth for a DJ but each time I’ve been there’s been no one there). I tried getting up and dancing one time but unfortunately the waiters said that if we all left our table to dance, they would need to bill our table and clean it up. I get that it’s not a club, but that was kind of sad :( Overall though, it’s a pretty good place for you to hang with friends and celebrate.

Friendly staff here. Great portions for the size. Loved going here with friends or myself. It is very close to Fenway station. Lychee soju is delicious ! my favorite is the Tteok-bokki.

Haven’t been here since they relocated and wow! The place is huge now so many wide screen TVs with sports games and music videos all around the restaurant. To be honest the volume was a little too loud for us and the strobe lights made the ambiance a little chaotic. The service was good and so was the food! We ordered some classic favorites: CORN CHEESE Corn comes out on a sizzling skillet and it is stunning! The cheese on the corn has cheese pulls for days and every bite just melts in your mouth. If you love cheese, this is the dish for you! KOREAN BBQ BEEF BULGOGI Thinly sliced marinated beef that comes out on a sizzling skillet, so tasty! Well seasoned and flavored, this was gobbled up within minutes! DDOK-BOKGHI (TTEOK-BOKKI) Korean street food served with rice cake, fishcake, and vegetables. Tossed in Gochujang-based sauce (sweet & spicy sauce). The rice cake was nice and chewy, but the sauce was a little disappointing. There wasn’t any spice or any flavoring really, it just tasted overwhelmingly sweet without any spice. Wouldn’t get again. SPICY KOREAN FRIED CHICKEN WINGS These wings were a little small, but boy was the crunch and juicy, tender meat on point! The flavors and heat were exactly what we wanted the heat was a good top tier medium, where we could enjoy more and still taste everything. Absolutely loved these! SOY GARLIC KOREAN FRIED CHICKEN WINGS Again, the wings were a little small, but the crunch, juicy meat, and delicious flavors came together with each and every bite. Sooo finger licking good! This was great to have in between the spicy wings. So tasty! Definitely give this place a try for some tasty food!

Yelp
Another great meal at SojuBa! We ended up here instead of walking over to BackBay because it looked like it was raining or would rain and so didn't want to risk it. So decided to stay local. Got the Korean bbq spicy chicken which was delicious as always. Ordered chicken wings and those came out super hot couldn't even touch them till they cooled down a bit and were quite good with the sweet chili sauce. Also ordered the bean paste stew with tofu and vegetables- that was also piping out steaming in a bowl. The dishes came with rice so we had 2 rice bowls which was perfect. The stew was spicy but not too spicy. Service was friendly and attentive. Our server was great checked on us frequently. The hubs also got the Jim beam apple drink which was nice - not too strong. Overall a good meal very satisfying and we had a few leftovers too! Nice ambiance with the lights overhead. They also have lots of TV screens showing Korean music videos. Apparently they have karaoke on Thursdays which we've never been to but am curious about. One day! They have a nice outdoor seating too but today it was wet so wasn't being used. We sat at the table by the windows though which was nice to see the bustling Boylston street. Overall great experience!

Yelp
FOOD: The food was OK. We got Bulgogi Nachos and Tteokbokki with cheese. The nachos are not layered. The chips go first then the nacho cheese, meat, and veggie toppings go on top of that, so once you get through the toppings on top, you're left with dry chips that you either eat plain or don't do anything with. They were also cold. The meat was warmish, but overall, they were cold. The tteokbokki was an interesting flavor...and it had a ton of veggies in it (carrots, onions, cabbage) that outnumbered and overpowered the actual tteok. It was not bad, but also, not good *Jisoo voice*. I don't think we'd get it again. Someone else ordered chicken wings and THOSE looked good, so we might get those next time. We want to go back to try drinks. SERVICE: prompt, super friendly and fast. Our food came out super quick, everyone we interacted with was really nice and everything was clean. VIBE: I feel like this would be a good spot in the summer when it's nice to sit outside. Definitely gives more bar, out for drinks type vibes. It was empty when we went, but it was on a weeknight at like 9pm. There were ppl in a group and a couple with a baby. It can be whatever you want it to be. PARKING: There is streets parking and a parking lot next to Hojoko on the same side as Sojuba, but idk if you have to pay. We were parked in the garage across the street, so we just walked over on the way back to the car.

Yelp
SOJUba is a nice place to go for a chill night out with friends! It's got a nice ambience here, that many people have noted, & fun drinks, LOTS of soju. If you're looking for some delicious Korean food in Boston, this is not the place to go. It's very much so just Korean bar food, mid at best & oftentimes, the food is not served to you hot, usually warm-ish cold. Do not have high expectations if you order any food from here. To be honest, just stick to the soju and you'll have a blast. Definitely recommend this place for big parties or even just a small group that's not looking to go out to the club. It's a lot more chill and a comfortable setting to have some drinks. They close pretty late, 2AM most days except Monday and Tuesday, which they close at 1AM.

Yelp
Fun place to go for food and bar vibes! We got the Japchae (4/5 it was more of a stir fry, wouldn't call it traditional but still tasty), Budae Jjigae (4/5 it was pretty good, nothing crazy but did cost $44), and the Soju Watermelon (4/5 was tasty, definitely had minimal soju in it, and was super expensive at $53!). Overall a fun place, but not sure it was worth the price.

Yelp
I have visited SOJUba twice now. I always get a Soju cocktail every time. They have a lot of drink options: soju cocktails, individual bottles, and towers. However, the cocktail hits EVERY TIME! especially because they come with popsicles! In terms of food, I would recommend sharing plates, especially for the tteokbokki, noodles, and Korean fried chicken. The entrees are bar food that compliment the drinks. Would also recommend going with a group after a show or the club. A vibe. They usually play kpop and apparently have karaoke once a week as well. Service is a hit or miss. Last time, they brought the wrong dishes and drinks to our table. However, that shouldn't stop anyone from at least visiting once. They also have a rooftop as well.

Yelp
Beautiful ambience. Sunday night felt like Saturday night here. We got BBQ pork and beef and garlic udon noodles and wings. Yum! Everything yummy. My family had mango popsicle drinks and I had lychee martini. Yummy drinks just wish I had actually lychees in it. Highly Recommend! Service was great too!

Yelp
My friend and I came in one night during our visit in Boston. Our food was really bad and could not finish eating it. When one of the employees came to clean our table he began talking to us asking if we were rich since we didn't finish our food. We laughed awkwardly, trying not to be rude and tell him that the food was bad, but he continued to say oh you must make a lot of money then I asked him to stop because he was making us uncomfortable, but he continued to say "no I'm just asking because if you're not gonna finish this food, you must have money". I asked if he was joking because his tone was very aggressive and he continued to harass us. He then grabbed my plate and tossed it towards me saying "so you're not going to eat it?" I had to get up and walk away, I've never experienced something like this before. zero out of 10 experience. I would never recommend this place. Terrible service terrible food.
google avatar

Nicki L.

Yelp
The food was almost inedible. The Jap Chae noodles were so gelatinous and impossible to chew. I hate to say it but it nearly made me gag trying to eat it. The bibimbap was flavorless. Big miss here.

Yelp
Enjoyed the early dinner at this location. It was more a bar than restaurant but the food was excellent. The portions were plentiful. It was not a traditional Korean restaurant with banchan so this was disappointing but we enjoyed each dish. The server was fairly prompt though drinks were slow in coming. We had the place mostly to ourselves since it was early but I'm sure it is a fun and loud bar with karaoke. If that's your scene it would be fun and good place to frequent. As a visitor I enjoyed myself.

Yelp
SOJUba is all about the vibe! It's like 9/10 here! We found that this place is very cozy and perfect for getting drunk. However, the food was mediocre. Also the service was not top of the line - they took long breaks in between attending us. The seating was amazing and we felt like continuing to sit and chit chat. Overall, recommend for the vibe.

Yelp
Uber eats order while traveling for business. On my view, getting a 5* based on Uber eats alone is challenging delivery food is usually not as good as in person dining. Crunchy corn was the star of the show. A great crunch with a sweet and salty flavor. I want try to figure out how to replicate at home. The garlic noodles were great too, simple and tasty Bulgogi was good as well.

Yelp
Terrible food and my bartender struggled to hear customers correctly. I came here before a game at Fenway park since it's close. I sat at the bar and ordered a Kirin on tap and their Spicy Pork bugolgi nachos. The bartender had some trouble understanding me and asked me to point it out on the menu, which I did. Received my beer which was not very cold, and filled with a decent gap to the top. I wasn't trying to be difficult, so I drank it and watched tv. A guy sat himself down at the bar two seats away and asked the same bartender for a beer and a shot of whiskey, Crown Royal. Bartender again has some trouble hearing him, but the customer repeats what he said. Last thing I hear the bartender say is "whiskey with cranberry?". Thankfully the customer clarified he wanted Crown Royal, otherwise that would've been a nasty shot. I eventually get my food and it's a rice dish with bugolgi on top. I look at it a bit and then flag down another staff member letting him know I ordered the nachos. Again, trying not to be difficult, I say he can toss this bugolgi on top of the nachos. He gets it and fixes the order. At this point, I know I should avoid my first bartender so I order another beer from the other bartender helping out. Other patron heads out and is replaced by a lady who orders a glass of Cabernet. My ear perks up when I hear the first bartender say "Chardonnay". I don't want to step out of line to correct him, but my curiosity is confirmed when I see him reach into the fridge and pull out a bottle of wine. He pours it and presents it to the lady who's obviously confused. She says she ordered a Cabernet, not Chardonnay. The other bartender takes over and pours out a red wine (there's no Cabernet on their menu). Back to the nachos. It was just a pile of thin chips, onions, tomato, jalapenos, nacho cheese, and some pork. The chips couldn't hold anything and the dish became a mess. The nachos could use a binder like sour cream or guacamole which would help justify the price - $19 I want to give the bartender the benefit of the doubt andI understand English may not be the first language spoken. But he needs to know for sure what a customer ordered, otherwise he's going to keep creating wasted food and drink. There should be more training and ensuring the staff knows what's on the menu. The lack of effort and overpriced food on top of the underwhelming service ensure I won't come back. Would not recommend to others

Greg M.

Yelp
The service was very slow. After 15 minutes of waiting I had to wave over the service person just to put in the order. My food came out first then my son's dinner came out 10 minutes later. The food was something out of a cheap Asian restaurant. Oily and flavorless. The wings were tasteless. Had to wave over the waitperson again to get our check.

Yelp
7/24/23 4 stars for Uber Eats delivery. 3 stars for delivered order. Full day of traveling from CA to MA and I was getting hangry! Uber Eats to the rescue. I ordered the KALBI Korean BBQ Ribs. $26 It was thick, flavor was good but extremely fatty. I don't mind a little marbled fat but when your biting into chunks of fat just to get to the meat, the gelatinous texture from the fat makes the dish less appealing. I felt wasteful as I just couldn't kill it despite being hungry. They didn't skimp. Just wished it wasn't so thick and fatty! I ordered the seafood pancake for $17. It's usually my youngest son's must have dish. And since I'm traveling for work, seeing it on the menu was a must have for me since I miss him! Sadly, This one arrived a bit soggy. The soy sauce spilled as the lid melted flat and the pancake was too salty for me. I ordered a bottle of water for $2 and received none. Not sure if restaurant is at fault or the driver for missing it. I also commented to include Ban Chan if available as there wasn't an option anywhere. I received none. Womp womp. I think it really would have helped offset the flavors of the meat and pancake entrees. Uber Eats did refund me for the water that was missing via the app but now I'm in a hotel with Jammie's on and nothing to wash the food down with. Ughhhh.

Yelp
Tried the SOON TOFU STEW 순두부찌개 and it was delicious!!! Quite spicy, but still a very tasty meal on a rainy day! The service was also quick and excellent. Really appreciated how attentive and courteous the staff was! They also play K-POP in the background, which makes for an even better experience.

Yelp
I think this is a fun spot for a group gathering for food and drinks. I didn't expect much from the food but so far everything we ordered was pretty solid. The staff are quick to take our order for drinks and food so the table was constantly full. The standout for the food we ordered was the chicken gizzard for me. Not many places serve it so I was curious to try. It pairs great with soju

Yelp
Sojuba is the place to go if you want quick Korean bar-style foods and fun drinks. This spot is massive. There is definitely enough space for large parties and group gatherings. There are high tops, regular seats, bar seats, and booths. The atmosphere is energetic with pretty much kpop playing with music videos on the tvs. The food itself is pretty decent. My friends and I opted to share a rice cake dish, fried chicken wings, cheese corn, spicy squid, and galbi. The food came out within 10 minutes, and the service was excellent! Definitely check them out!

Yelp
we came with a reservation on a saturday night, granted it was a game night. the service was absolutely abysmal. and not even because it was busy inside or the service was slow, it was the way we were treated by bouncers and servers. when we walked in, the bouncer barked at us to get to the back of the... 3 person line. We said we had a reservation, to which he held his hand out and raised his eyebrow, but didnt say a word. We're adults here... why don't you ask for my ID with your words? at the table, someone tried to order a French 75, and the server responded "uh..this isn't like, a fancy bar?" ...you dont have simple and lemon? cuz i can see bubbly and gin on your bar. but whatever, just say you only serve menu drinks and dont make us feel stupid about it? 45-60 mins after we'd ordered our food, received and ate most of it, we asked the waitress if the chicken wings were still on the way? to which she gestured to the restaurant and said "its like, busy around here." ....she came back 2 minutes later asking us what sauce we wanted for the wings, because she'd never rung them in. it's okay to be busy and its okay to be slow because of that, we understand. but the attitude and rude replies are soooo unwarranted. Our bill came to nearly $800, with automatic gratuity. You'd think they'd be kinder to folks spending $800 in their restaurant. The food was decent for the most part, with the chicken wings being the best and the bulgolgi and japchae being meh. Drinks had no strength to them, and the "birthday shots" tasted like juice and soda water. Go, if all you care about is getting sloshed after a sox game
google avatar

Gennie L.

Yelp
sojuba is a dope restaurant/bar with great drinks and food. their drinks are a bit overpriced, but really good so it's worth it. service wasn't bad, although it did take a while for the food to come out. during birthdays they have a mini celebration and the servers come with birthday shots/fire (you have to order ~$30). later in the night wait times can be long, but anytime before 7 doesn't require a wait most of the time. it can also get quite busy before/after red sox games, since the bar is located right next to fenway park. overall rating: 8/10

Yelp
Food is always delish and so many options! Drinks are killer and so many fun choices. Love the soju and popsicle drinks! Tteok-bokki is my favorite - always come here for the music, vibes, and fun with friends.

Yelp
Excellent veggie bibimbap! In Boston briefly. Wanted Korean takeout and past reviews encouraged our decision! Would happily eat again! Thank you!!!

Yelp
Sojuba is a fantastic spot with an atmosphere that I absolutely adore. The dimly lit ambiance, ample seating, and clean facilities create a comfortable environment. What made it even better was the fact that they were playing KPOP music, setting the perfect vibe. We visited on a weekday evening, so it wasn't too crowded, allowing us to fully enjoy the experience. Although we didn't try their food, the menu at Sojuba is impressively affordable. We had our hearts set on the Watermelon Soju, but unfortunately, it was only available seasonally. Instead, we opted for a Soju bowl drink. While it wasn't as strong as we anticipated, it was incredibly sweet and enjoyable. The server at Sojuba was incredibly friendly. As visitors to Boston, she kindly provided us with recommendations on other places to explore, which was greatly appreciated.
google avatar

Katherine C.

Yelp
I have been to Sojuba many times and really enjoy it as a late night food spot with drinks and solid Korean food. I went the other day with some friends and got a bottle of soju, soy garlic chicken wings, and decided to try the bulgogi nachos. I was unsure about the nachos but my friends wanted them and the server said the spicy pork ones were good. The soy garlic chicken wings here are amazing and part of the reason why I come back. They're always hot, crispy and taste the perfect amount of sweetness and saltiness. The bulgogi nachos were not horrible but a bit of a miss for me, especially for $17. There was little meat and the only other toppings were the movie theatre nacho cheese, tomatoes, onions, and jalapeños. We are all of them but I wish they used actual melted cheese and maybe had some sauce. Although the nachos were a miss, I still recommend coming here if you're looking for late night Korean food or drinks. It is a bit pricy, but when it's past 11/12 and you're starving for Korean food it is worth it (and there's no other options!). Their bibimbap is solid, the wings are solid, and bulgogi is good too. I will for sure be coming back and hope to try some new items!

Yelp
This restaurant is a short walk to Fenway Park. We went in before the game on a Friday. There was a steady crowd and the bar was full, but there were still plenty of tables. They had a DJ playing hip hop music and it correlated with some of the TV's at the bar. Everything was clean and the service was good. After looking through several pictures on Yelp, I was able to narrow down my options to the Hot Pot Boodae Jungol and the spicy snails. The Boodae Jungol was absolutely amazing. I would have to say one of the best I've ever had. It comes out steaming hot and they keep it hot with a propane burner. There is a variety of meats and vegetables in the hot pot so you can pick around certain things if you don't like them. I didn't eat the tofu because the meats where too good to pass on and I couldn't finish the entire bowl split between the two of us. I couldn't eat the side of white rice either because I had to finish the amazing broth. The spicy snails are a cold dish and it came out right away. It was a large portion and the flavors were great. Overall, I like the atmosphere and would definitely go back to get the hot pot again. I would also like to try one of their drinks that I didn't opt for on this visit. The prices are a bit too high, especially on some of their drinks. I'm sure it's due to their location.

Yelp
Food: Everything was extremely delicious! The cheesy corn, chicken wings, fluffy egg, bbq short ribs were a few of my faves but I ate sooo much lol. Came here with a party of 18, we devoured EVERYTHING for a friend's birthday. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. Service: Food was mad fast, even on a Saturday night after 7pm. Ambiance: Dark, typical bar vibes, in a fun area of Fenway. Lots to do around the area, would definitely come back here.

Yelp
Nice place overall, good vibe for a bar, but if you're just looking for Korean food it's not Boston's best. I went on a Tuesday night. It seems relatively popular and had a good amount of people even around 7 on a weeknight. The servers were great and the food came quickly. We got the spicy kbbq chicken, seafood scallion pancake, and bibimbop with chicken. The chicken in the bibimbop was a bit dry and flavorless. The pancake was a bit mushy and not super flavorful. We didn't get any drinks, but it seems like somewhere I would only go back to if I wanted to go out for drinks -- Allston has better Korean food. But nice vibes, good staff, good noise level (and supposedly has a rooftop bar open on Fridays and Saturdays!)

Yelp
I love Korean food, and whenever I travel I like trying Korean restaurants in different cities. We went to the Sox game at Fenway park, but instead of buying stadium food there we decided to wait to here until after the game, and that was a good decision because I loved the food at this place. It is minutes from Fenway Park, so I thought it would be packed after the game but fortunately we were seated right away. This place is very spacious. More of a bar, club atmosphere than a restaurant. It's cool! I ordered bulgogi. The only thing that didn't work out was that my boyfriend got his dish (japchae) first, and mine did not come for another 10 minutes or so. If it was going to take extra time , I would have appreciated being informed. The server did not tell me how much longer it would be, until I asked her after waiting for a while. All in all, the food was great and I left feeling happy. Baseball and then Korean dinner? It couldn't be better!

Yelp
Decided to give this place a try while waiting for a show at MGM music hall. First impression, this place is huge! So spacious and airy with big panel windows. The setup is like a clubbing with long bar and DJ booth. We were greeted by a couple of servers when we sat down. I ordered a water soju served inside half of a watermelon . Presentation is everything! Drink was delish. We ordered 4 dishes and they were all flavorful. Totally recommend it for you're having Korean food cravings.

Yelp
Really tasty and comforting late night dinner (they had a separate section for dinner goers I think)! The army stew was surprisingly tangy and tomato-y in a good way and was also filled with greens, rice cake, sausage, spam, ramen, etc that went perfectly with rice and steamed egg. The bulgogi was also quite flavorful and sweet. The servers were also kind and helpful with allergies.

Yelp
Really, really good food. And impeccable vibes inside. The TVs play music videos for kpop groups and they go all out for birthdays. We hadn't been there on a Friday before but after seeing that we decided our groups next bday dinner would be there!!! Good music, good drinks, good food, and good people. What more could you ask for. The guy at the front let us sit in the foyer as multiple Ubers cancelled early in the morning/late at night which was so sweet and definitely not necessary. The crispyness of my bibambap made my night on a rainy dreary Friday and we instantly perked up w the good energy!

Yelp
Mediocre Korean food. Expensive drinks. Nice location and services. Good for late night snack

Yelp
The smell in here is incredibly overwhelming. The bar smell where booze, sweat, and everything else culminates in a cesspool of college and sports fans spirit. Service was nonexistent and the first choice on the handheld card machine was 18%. The roof top wasn't open on the weekdays but there was outdoor seating. The melona cocktail was great! Tasty and refreshing. The wings and fries came out hot and crispy. I wish they gave more ketchup since it's impossible to get a hold of someone here probably due to staffing. This place would probably be fun with a huge group but it will cost a pretty penny. Just those three things came out to almost $40 per person including tax and tip.

Yelp
Pretty solid vibes if you're looking for a fun place to go out with friends! The restaurant was decently crowded pretty early on a Friday night. SOJUba is similar to a pocha with korean bar food and drinks. The menu is pretty overpriced but I thought the quality was pretty decent. The watermelon soju drink (which came with cotton candy) had a nice wow factor, but was hoping they made the drink a little stronger and/or carved out the watermelon a little more. The korean fried chicken was outstanding and very crispy - would recommend! I'm also a big fan of korean cheese corn to top off the chicken with. We also ordered ddeokbokki which was satisfying, but not the best I've had. Overall, this is a solid place I'll be returning to with friends if I'm in the area!

Yelp
Great place to vibe, grab a drink/food with friends on a night out. Big TV's playing sports games and great kpop/hip hop music selection. I read a lot of complaints on the customer service on yelp but I had no issues with that. Our waiter checked up on us like 4-5 times. Bibambop 4/5 (gave a lot) Strawberry yakult alc drink 4/5 (Yummy but small) scallion pancake 3.5/5 (Yummy but felt undercooked haha) Cheese katsu 3/5 (not a fan but the lady was)

Yelp
The food was ok. Not the greatest Korean food I've had. I had the short ribs stew. The meat was tasty but needed to be cooked longer to get softer and absorb more flavor. Another diner had the seafood pancake that was also tasty but very little seafood in it and very oily. The dumplings (one pork, one chicken) had very little flavor in the fillings--disappointing. One diner had the BBQ shredded pork which was probably the best dish there. The service was great.. lovely waitresses. The place is huge and they play pounding music which was pretty annoying and repetitive. The venue itself is nice and a couple minutes away from MGM Fenway and the ballpark, so it was an easy pick for dinner. The ladies room needs to be cleaned and lightbulbs need to be replaced. No soap in the dispensers and one of two hand dryers wasn't working. No problem getting a table. Not many diners on this Monday evening in spite of both a Sox game and James Taylor at the MGM.

Yelp
Food was at least bad and both my daughter and I felt sick after eating there. Garlic noodles was ok, but I would Suggest without chicken at it tasted like plain boiled chicken.

Yelp
Everything you'd every want from a Korean restaurant- they got it. I had the Ramen Ttebokki- sooooo tasty. I added cheese, perfect blend of spicy and sweet. I also got the mango soju popsicle drink and it was so good! It was creamy yet sweet, kinda like anPiña Colada on the rocks. The ambience is kinda karaoke-bar, modern, clean, hip and all around really fun and good. Also the waitress was super kind, attentive, and when my friend did not like her order, was super helpful, willing, and kind to fix it for her. If you're near MGM or this area of Boston, I totally recommend this place for some great Korean food and an overall great dining experience.

Yelp
Food: normal Service: Shitty(not the waiters inside, but the security guy who's in charge of the queue) Environment: noisy *They check IDs for everyone no matter you order drinks or not. You should be 21+ to enter this place. If you are looking for good foods, it's not a good choice. If the you wanna dance, the songs suck. Would not come back again. What a waste of time.

Yelp
Sojuba has never let me down with the food, drinks, and environment. My friends and I got: beef bulgogi, fried chicken wings, chicken tenders, coconut popsicle soju, mango ice cream soju, lychee soju pitcher, and an IPA. Everything was great but also an expensive bill so come prepared for that check. The waiter was really nice when my friend ordered a soju cocktail but ended up being the wrong drink and he got it replaced super fast!

Yelp
I was so impressed with the kimchi pork belly and the kimchi pancake!! A really popular bar - it was my first stop after I got the plane and it was popping even at midnight. The watermelon w/ cotton candy was fun to drink with friends & overall I didn't expect to eat such yummy Korean food in Boston!

Yelp
The food was okay here. It wasn't too bad or it wasn't really yummy but would I come here again? It's a maybe, lol. I like the chicken because it was so hot fresh but it tasted ok. I do like the ambiance there because of the music.

Yelp
Only got takeout from here. Tried the seafood pancake and kalbi tang. Pancake had some shells in it which was slightly unpleasant but still has good flavor. The kalbi tang broth and noodles were great, but short rib was too tough to eat.

Yelp
Food (1.5/2): Went here for a going-away party to one of our friends. Had the corn, wings, and some other stuff I had forgotten. Drinks were awesome, especially the one with ice cream in it. Otherwise, the food in general were alright-good. Corn dish was a bit annoying to eat but the flavor was decent. The wings were amazing but you had to pick the right sauce (unfortunately forgot). Service/wait-time/cleanliness (2/2): Overall service is great. They allowed us to wait on the table as more people are on the way. Granted, this was when the place isn't packed. Wait-time for food is decent. Servers were very helpful in providing recommendations. Place is generally kept surprisingly clean. Price (0.5/1): Price is well-positioned. Though it is a bit on the expensive side, given their service and a generally-great experience, it's worth it in my opinion.

Yelp
Really fun for a birthday or special occasion dinner. The food and drinks are very tasty and service is good for a busy place.

Yelp
I really enjoy the food here, but the atmosphere can be a bit too much. We went here on a Friday night on the earlier side like around 6:30-7, and not too later after we were there it became like a night club vibe. Just wish it was a bit more family/kid friendly. Otherwise food is so good!!

Yelp
Maybe the worst service ever in a restaurant I've been to in Boston. Pretty mediocre Korean food so not worth putting up with it.

Yelp
I've been here multiple times and it never disappoints! Serena made my experience this evening! She is very professional and very knowledgeable! The music is great! The food is amazing and the drinks are awesome!

Yelp
Serena and the staff provides us the best customer service when we're here, to where we frequent the place often. Although there are plenty of other places we can eat and drink. Matt shows us great hospitality and ensures that we are welcomed while dining/drinking in. A++++ for the place! Highly recommend.
