If google would allow me to give 9/10 I would. I highly highly highly recommend anyone stopping by this food truck to get the oxtail plate/bowl. Do yourself a favor and get the plantains and macaroni as sides…. You will thank me later! OH! If you’re unsure about that dish, worry not. You literally can’t go wrong with the Birria Chicken Quesadillas!!!! My Favorite comfort food and now your favorite go to. Pictured below you’ll see the amazing video/photos of the oxtail dish and Birria Quesadillas. What makes the icing on the cake is the AMAZING customer service!!! Truly humbling polite employees and you can tell they are hard working. Stay tuned for more foodie reviews! My Instagram: im_alwayshungryy And follow them on insta: sokahfoodtruck P.s- try the Sorrel drink

Fantastic food truck! The owners are so nice and welcoming. My favorite items I've tried are the wings, jerk chicken, doubles and oxtail. Follow them on Facebook for their weekly locations and menu. They have a standard menu plus specials that they offer occasionally (like doubles and oxtail). If you've never had Trini food, you'll definitely enjoy! You can feel comfortable asking them questions about any of the food items and trust their recommendations.

The most amazing Trini food in the area. I’ve had the garlic shrimp and the Oxtails. The shrimp was amazing and the Oxtails were tender and seasoned to perfection. The portions are a great size and the owners bring such an amazing Caribbean vibe with their service and they have such a passion for their food! I can’t wait to go back and try something new!

We love the Sokah Food Truck! Their food is authentic Trini-style food from Trinidad and Tobago, and everything we have tried has been delicious! They make their food from scratch and you can tell after one bite that it is a labor of love! If you haven’t had this type of food, start out with a homemade “doubles,” which is a curried garbanzo bean filling between two homemade flatbreads. Talk about a high protein treat! Or try their homemade roti, a wrap sandwich containing chicken or goat and potatoes. Follow them on instagram to find out their schedule for the week. They are often at the Hotel Dryce on Saturday evenings, right off Montgomery Street near Dickey’s arena, and there is a great place to sit at the hotel’s spacious outdoor bar area and listen to music while waiting for your food to be prepared, or to eat it! Great authentic and healthy culinary experience!

I tracked down the Sokah Food Truck at the Truck Yard in Ft. Worth and it was absolutely delish! The doubles, with all homemade ingredients including, fresh bara, pepper sauce, and kuchela -- will transport your tastebuds directly to the streets of Port Of Spain! Super nice owners/chefs that are legit Trini to the bone! Listen to some Machel or Alison on the drive over to track down the truck to get your mouth ready for a fete!
