It’s a little difficult for me to write this review, because the overall experience—the setting, the service, the atmosphere—was genuinely beautiful. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the space itself was thoughtfully decorated, full of charm and soul. The dishes looked stunning, with clear attention to detail and technique. The meal began with a strong entrée that really set high expectations.
But as the courses continued, the flavors began to feel a bit repetitive and flat. Not bad by any means, just… lacking something deeper. Despite all the effort and artistry on the plate, the food itself felt like it was missing the heart that was so present in everything else around it. It’s strange to say, but while I could feel the soul in the staff, in the room, in the way everything was put together—I couldn’t find that same soul in the food.
That said, the dessert was an absolute standout, a truly beautiful way to end the evening.
I forgot to add: the cocktails were amazing and the sommelier was so good, and the choice he helped us with, is on my list of bottles to find.
