Amazing bar atmosphere. Great drinks, and great bartender, David. He was very accommodating and a pleasure to interact with… lots of laughter and good times during my short visit. I appreciated his extensive tequila knowledge.

Google
Average experience, I came in later in the evening so I was easily seated. I waited about 3-5 min to be greatest by the bar area attendant, Only bar person in the area at the time . Apologized for the wait. I ordered a non alcoholic drink and it was interesting in taste . The food small bites/ appetizer I tried was fresh and had a great presentation. Because my server was also the bar tender I had to wait several time for refills on water. To ask for a to go box. He was literally running back and forth and tried his best. It was not the best dining experience as far as attentiveness.

The food was absolutely amazing and the atmosphere is very inviting. I got the guac and the taquiza’s both were so good. The service was great, I sat at the bar and had David as my bartender and he was very accommodating. Drinks were perfect, I wasn’t sure what to get and David helped me a lot in figuring what I would like. The first drink was so good that I trusted him to craft me a cocktail off the menu and it turned out amazing!!! 10/10. Would and will recommend.

Came here for lunch after visiting the Grammy Museum. It's a large restaurant with different sections, well decorated, and even though it's indoors, it felt half outdoors as well. It was a bit busy when we came at lunch on a Saturday, but they tried to be good about not making us wait too long, like they gave us time to look through the menu, probably noticed when we put the menus down and just started looking around, and then brought out the chips and salsa and took our order. The portions are big, which makes up for the fact that it is a little bit expensive, like we probably could have shared one dish. I say it's worth it for a special occasion or in our case, just finished sightseeing and wanted a good place to sit down and eat.

Sol Agave is the Real Deal! Sol Agave is legit. It’s our go-to spot before every Dodger game—gotta fuel up with flavor before cheering on the boys in blue! The vibe is chill, the service is always on point, and the food? Chef’s kiss. They kick things off strong with chips, salsa, and a spicy bean dip that honestly deserves its own spotlight. We’re talking flavor explosions right from the start. Favorites? Oh, we’ve got a few. The calamari is crispy perfection, the ceviche is fresh and zesty, and the tacos? You can’t go wrong—every bite hits. Plus, their margaritas always set the mood just right (highly recommend trying more than one… for science). And don’t sleep on their happy hour—solid deals, great drinks, and even better vibes. If you’re heading to a game or just craving some killer Mexican food, Sol Agave is where it’s at.

We got the big plate for dos and really enjoyed it. My wife really liked the steak, i liked the carnitas (really good pork flavor), and we both really enjoyed a big garlic shrimp. However, the star of the show was easily the butter cake. It's in the top 3 cakes I've had in my life, for sure. I would come back to this place just to get more of that cake.

Google
We had a great experience at Sol Agave before seeing a show at the Nove around the corner. We made a reservation for a Thursday night (though it looked like we would have been able to get a table if we'd walked in. There were lots of people, but it wasn't full...the bar area was poppin!) I'm a vegetarian and my wife isn't, so she had plenty to choose from and, actually, so did I! They have a whole separate vegetarian menu with lots to choose from. I had the Jalapeño Soup for my main. I didn't think soup would be enough and was going to order another dish with it, but the server told me the soup was large and it probably wouldn't be necessary. He was right...it really filled me up. Very cool of the staff to not upsell or to offer that unsolicited advice rather than let me order more than I needed. It'd be cool if they offered a smaller version of the soup in case I wanted a couple different bites. The soup itself had good jalapeño flavor without being overly spicy. I really enjoyed it. The chips and salsa kept coming as we wanted and the beans they came with were delicious. My wife enjoyed the three tacos plate. We also got a side of rice and beans, which was vegetarian but not necessarily overly flavorful. Great atmosphere in this modern dining room with a nice upscale Mexican food experience to go with it!

Google
We ended up here just because we wanted Mexican food, we were starving and it was the only nearby restaurant with fairly good reviews. And it did not disappoint. We ordered the famous carnitas, lobster enchiladas and the "mar y tierra" enchiladas. And truth is... Everything was pretty good. I would definitely return to this restaurant. Although it was nothing magic, I really enjoyed the food!

Yelp
My sister's and I had dinner at Sol Agave last night. Food was great. Our waiter Kevin was the best! He was attentive throughout our visit! We will definitely be visiting again.

Evan ..

Yelp
The food was good, but the service was lacking. Our server's attention was hit and miss even though the restaurant was not overly busy, and meals for our party of six were brought out two at a time over a period of 20 minutes inhibiting our ability to dine together without risking some meals going cold.

Yelp
The restaurant t is bright and inviting I thought the food was very good I got the spinach enchiladas and they were very tasty The sauce is was quite flavorful The chips and salsa were great too. I thought the salsa had a good spicy kick to it The bathrooms were kind of dirty. There was a pretty nasty smell in there Location is downtown la. Not the nicest place in Southern California but the food and the restaurant is pretty good They have a vegetarian menu but you have to ask for it Not sure why it's not included in the main menu but there are a number of options if you are vegetarian

Yelp
Awesome food, the people there had helping you are always attentive. I have taken my family and my fiance a couple of times and it's an excellence service all the time . A relaxing environment to enjoy with family or anyone you like. Recommended .

Yelp
Had a great time at this restaurant this weekend. We called a couple hours before we wanted to come in with a big group and they were able to accommodate. Here's what I got: Frozen Coco margarita: 3.5/5. Tasty but I would've preferred it sweeter. Pork belly bites: 4/5. Crispy and juicy. Served with corn tortillas. I didn't use either sauces (not a sauce person typically) but I'm sure if you like sauces, this dish would be even better. Alone, I wanted the pork belly a little more flavorful. The brown sauce is the only one I tried and it tasted like syrup. Chile Colorado: 4.2/5. Served with your choice of tortillas (I picked corn). The short ribs were really tasty, super tender. Definitely a filling meal with the tortillas. Honorable mention for the chips. Nice and crispy and salty. Served with a bean and pork dip and a salsa. Both were delicious. The salsa is spicy but not overly so. I would certainly come back again next time I'm in LA.

Yelp
Wonder place to get a meal before a game at crypto.com. I got the chile Colorado and thought the flavors are very rich, bold and had a nice spicy kick to it. The meat was so tender I used a fork to break apart the meat. Then people serving us were attentive and friendly. Nice friendly atmosphere and plenty of space for a group. The pricing is reasonable considering it's in such a popular area

Yelp
Great peace with great food, service & quality ingredients. taking a step into very authentic Mexican flavors.

Yelp
Lone star status ! I've been to this establishment over a dozen times and have never been charged for the teeny tiny hot habañero sauce....until tonight ? Its only $ 2.50 but its the principle ! I doubt very much if I'll be back just for that alone !!

Yelp
Came here for Happy Hour before a game at Staples. Yes, Staples Center. The food is really good and the drinks were solid. Definitely get the margarita flight so you can try a bit of everything.

Yelp
I celebrated my birthday at Sol Agave in Downtown LA, and it was an incredible experience! From start to finish, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate my large party of 12--at no extra cost, which was such a nice touch. The seating was comfortable, and the entire establishment is beautifully designed, creating the perfect vibe for a special occasion. Everyone in my group raved about the food and drinks. Even the complimentary chips and salsa were a hit--fresh, flavorful, and the perfect start to the meal. For my main dishes, I had the shrimp taquitos and the chicken tortilla soup. I'm a huge fan of tortilla soup, and I order it anytime it's on a menu. This one was a 10/10--perfectly seasoned, hearty, and hands down one of the best I've had. And, by the way, they weren't stingy with the chicken! The whole experience was flawless, from the warm and attentive service to the outstanding food. I'm so glad I chose Sol Agave for my birthday celebration and can't wait to come back. Highly recommend for any occasion!

Yelp
The food at Sol Agave is amazing. I love to sit at their bar and watch sports while I enjoy a Michelada con Negra Modelo. The place is always clean and the service is almost always prompt. We frequent this place almost weekly. On a nice day, sit on the patio and enjoy your food and drink there.
google avatar

Liz D.

Yelp
The drinks were good but the service was not good. We kept getting rushed from the moment we walked in. We understood but if they are going to be rushing us before we even sit they shouldn't have sit us at all. They had very passive comments when we had ordered 3 flights of drinks. Ruined the ambiance.
google avatar

Ry K.

Yelp
Make sure to get reservations. Luckily we had them but the wait was very long. The restaurant is very loud. Great service, very friendly, food was good but expensive. 2 people with 1 margarita and a water with a tip was over $100. So just know what you are getting yourself into :)

Yelp
A fantastic fusion of authentic and modern Mexican cuisine with excellent service and ambiance. A great menu and the staff gave a very nice tribute to my son's 26th birthday. I recommend and look Forward to returning again soon!

Yelp
It's been a while since I enjoyed mexican food this much! To start, the chips with refried beans and salsa were really fresh and tasty. We ordered the wet burrito and tacos de hongo. Huge shoutout to the last one! A total hit. Good amount of steak and the perfect mix of mushrooms and cheese. It's served in a cast iron pam so it keeps warm until the end. Honestly, what an amazing plate. I'd highly encourage to order something from the Chef's Recommendations section. Service was amazing. I wish I remembered my server's name because she was the nicest. Such good attention. The only thing I'd change is the ambiance, it's too bright in my opinion. A few candles and dim lighting would create the perfect atmosphere. But not a dealbreaker for me. I'd comeback in a heartbeat!

Yelp
My experience may have been a bit off because I came here after the Dodgers World Championship parade and they weren't ready for us! They were wise enough not to seat the entire restaurant because they weren't staffed for it, which I was surprised about. Whatever the case, I was impressed the kitchen staff efficiently got out everyones food quickly. Now if the servers were a bit more experienced, they probably would have been able to seat more tables. Normally, it's the kitchen who get overwhelmed with orders when there is a big rush. For for first 10 minutes, we didn't get a single greeting, I was ok with the slow service due to the circumstance but not having a busser or someone say hello and drop off water or chips was bad. Once we got a server, we ordered the food & food came out quickly. I asked if they had a spicier salsa which the server brought out one with habanero without letting us know a small thing of it was an additional $2.50. I mentioned to him that he should have brought up the extra cost since it was significant but he didn't take it off the bill. I'm torn on this place. I love Fixens a few doors down and the service/food is fantastic so I will likely continue going there in the future.

Yelp
I recently dined at Sol Agave in Downtown LA and had an exceptional experience. The restaurant offers delicious and authentic Mexican cuisine that truly stands out. I ordered the Pulpo A Las Brasas, which was incredibly flavorful and perfectly cooked. Additionally, the Guacamole Sample was a highlight, featuring langosta, carnitas, and a classic side--each variation was fresh and delicious. The bar at Sol Agave is impressive, boasting an extensive selection of top-shelf tequilas that perfectly complement the meal. The atmosphere is vibrant and the service is top-notch. If you're in the area and craving some authentic platos Mexicanos, I highly recommend checking out Sol Agave!

Yelp
I typically visit the San Clemente location but this one is ideal if u are going to event near LA Live or Crypto. Great ambiance, fast service, and delish food!! And I think Best margaritas around! We ordered the margarita flight in addition to various other yummy drinks, sugar cane filet, grilled romaine salad, guac and tacos. Everything was great! Will def be back again soon!
google avatar

Ericka T.

Yelp
First day in LA, was starving and decided to get some good Mexican. It was delish. The shrimp taquitos were AAAAMMMMMAAAAZZIINNGG! Please just go to eat that. Had the skinny margarita, pretty good. Nothing special. They give complimentary chips with salsa and bean dip. Also got the fajitas to share which was pretty good. My daughter got the kids chicken tenders and French fries. No complaints. Everything came out too fast.. the fajitas came out just a few mins after the apps.. I wish they gave us some time in between.. but everything was hot and delish. The restaurant was bright and lively. Servers were friendly, no complaints. Oh! And they validate parking before 2!! Thank you Sol for a great lunch

Yelp
When I first walked in, I was early for my reservation, so I sat at the bar. It was the night of the Laker game, so it was pretty crowded but still the barback and the bartender were very attentive. Well, the margarita flight looked enticing. I chose the cucumber cilantro margarita which was great! Once my friend came, we sat down at our table, which ended up feeling like a bar table, that was located right by the front door and the draft made it a little uncomfortable. I feel like if you make a reservation, a bar top is not what I'm expecting . Our server unfortunately was blah, no personality luckily the tacos Del Mar were delicious. Other than the server and the cold draft at the odd table... I liked it but it was also pretty pricey so I don't know if I would return. I probably could've given four stars because the things I didn't like could be fixed.

Yelp
Sol Agave is amazing. Everything from the food to the service was top notch. Kevin was our server and he was very friendly and attentive. He gave great suggestions that did not disappoint. We order the street tacos appetizer (with one of each flavor), the Chile Colorado, the Mar de Tierra, and the star of the show... the butter cake. We also order the margarita flight and the coconut mojito. Every single dish was great. The carnitas was sooo tender and flavorful, that I will be ordering it for my main dish next time we go. The Chile Colorado was super flavorful and tender with the perfect tiny kick to it. The Mar de Tierra has a delightfully smoky and slightly sweet sauce that compliments the tender prime rib inside the enchiladas. The praws on top had a great flavor as well. The margaritas flight was nice. The tamarind margarita was very sweet, but the citrus flavor had me in a chokehold. My fave was the cucumber cilantro margarita though. It was perfect. The coconut mojito was very refreshing and very yummy. The lime, mint and coconut blended well and made a frothy top layer that I enjoyed. Thee BUTTER CAKE was absolutely FIRE!!! It's a definite MUST to order it for desset. It warms up nice if you want to take it home to eat it as well. Don't cheat yourself, TREAT yourself!!!! All in all, I will definitely be going back... and I will be sure to ask for Kevin again.

Yelp
We went there on a Sunday for their Brunch menu. The food was mid at best lacking flavor and seasoning. Wished there were salt and pepper shakers on the table but none were around. We asked for another Chili pepper and the waiter promptly informed us that there was an extra charge for it. I said ok. We also asked for some hot sauce and they sent over a small portion of habanero sauce that was ok at best. Get this. They nickel and dime you to death here. You would think the amount they charge for their mid, small portioned food they could just throws those in. Give me a bottle of Tapatio for god sakes. In the end, one chili pepper was $1 and a small hot sauce was $2.50. When we left neither our taste buds nor bellies were satisfied. Don't bother with this place.
google avatar

Kenneth O.

Yelp
From the display to the flavor, everything was excellent! The authenticity of the tortillas for the enchiladas were perfect! Definitely worth a visit again and again!
google avatar

Darryl W.

Yelp
I had a great time and meal at Sol Agave! On this visit, I enjoyed the shrimp taquitos, which were excellent. I might have. The drinks are also excellent here the margaritas and their variety of tequilas. This location is right at the LA live near the convention center. I would highly recommend this restaurant.!
google avatar

An L.

Yelp
Great food, close to LA convention center, within approximately 2 blocks. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Yelp
Service was good, play list was litt and food was amazing. Parking is a little bit of a hassle but they have a lot at LA live

Yelp
Came with my husband before the laker game and we were sat right away at the bar. I wish we had only stayed for drinks and appetizer. Service started out promising, but then took a turn unfortunately. We started with the pork belly appetizer and chips and salsa; that was the only good thing. For our drinks I had the Grilled Piña and there was nothing special about it. My husband had something that looked like coffee martini, that was good actually. The pork belly was cooked perfectly! Crispy and juicy! The chips and salsa with the bean dip were also tasty. As for our food, definitely left us disappointed! I had the Mar Y Tierra the filet mignon was over cooked the shrimp was ok, but also over cooked. The sauce was best thing of that dish and what made it edible. My husband had the Enchiladas De Langosta and the lobster was extremely over cooked! Again it was the sauce that made it edible. This meal was so disappointing and the service became non existent. It was so frustrating because they weren't busy, they had people standing around looking around and not making any eye contact with us to wave them down, but you could tell they can see us with their peripheral vision because when we would wave at them, they would turn around and walk away! This was frustrating and unprofessional behavior! I think they were trying to keep us around to make it look busy. I'm not interested in coming back and I do not recommend coming here.
google avatar

Max G.

Yelp
Too Spicy! If your latino and accustomed to the heat, it's pretty good. The ambiance is very nice, the location is great and the service was fair. But if you're a gringo, this place is not for you. The lobster enchiladas were full of spicy poblano peppers. Everything was way too spicy. High Quality, high prices but not for everyone.
google avatar

Angie H.

Yelp
Food was very good and the staff was nice. The jalapeño cream soup was amazing. It must have been good several from our group went back the next night. Food and drinks from bar were a little slow getting to us but we were a large party.
google avatar

Alyssa F.

Yelp
My boyfriend took me here for my birthday and we had a great time. We went during the week so it wasn't packed and there was plenty of seating. The food was delicious and I look forward to coming back to try more food options! The entire menu looks so good!! The ambiance was nice and felt more premium (e.g., no frilly Mexican decor).
google avatar

KB C.

Yelp
Food was phenomenal! Everything was flavor. The Salsa, to the frijoles, & Steak. Service was awsome, forget my waiter name but she made sure we had a good time & she was correct when she said that dish i order was for 2 ppl because we was full! Decor of the place is very elegant and peaceful. Drinks were worth every dolla lol. 10/10 i would recommend. especially for a date night.
google avatar

Padric G.

Yelp
If you're planning a work dinner, I highly recommend Sol Agave in DTLA. We had a party of 30+ after a convention, and everything was handled smoothly. Aldrick did an excellent job managing our group--he was attentive, organized, and made sure everyone was taken care of. The food and margaritas were great, and the overall experience was easy. Definitely looking forward to coming back!
google avatar

Aarti G.

Yelp
I came here for lunch with colleagues. The signs in that area were a bit confusing so I got a bit turned around when walking here and made a loop around Crypto before I was able to find it. All the food was delicious. We tried the guacamole and mixed ceviche for apps. The ceviche was so tangy and came with a lot of fish so it was good for sharing. They also gave chips with salsa and beans which you don't usually see. I got shrimp as my entree. I asked to sub the rice for salad and they ended up giving me both. My only complaint with this place was that the service took foreverrrr. For a work lunch, we really didn't have 2 hours to waste. It took an hour just to order our entrees. Food was great and worth coming back for but not if you are in a rush.
google avatar

Tiffany L.

Yelp
Hubby and I came here for happy hour after work. Let me start off by saying the chips and salsa were delicious! The chips are hot and fresh, and the salsa had the perfect amount of spice. Our cocktails were stiff, the food was yummy, and the wait staff were very friendly. 5 star experience!
google avatar

Amita J.

Yelp
Made a reservation online at Sol Agave for an after Lakers game meal which was a fabulous decision. We got seated within a few minutes despite how busy it was. We were served complimentary chips and salsa (no bean dip - not vegetarian). Online I had noticed they had a handful of vegetarian items but their main menu did not contain any. Ask for the vegetarian menu! Lots of options! We were not very hungry so we just ordered spinach enchiladas to share and glad we decided this because the portions were a good size - 2 hefty enchiladas with a side of rice and beans! The chili crema sauce on the enchiladas was spectacular which elevated flavors of the dish. Overall, delicious food. Service was over the top, I see other reviews nothing service is slow but we had quite the opposite - 3 waiters stopped by to check in and get the order 7+times within 10 minutes, it was a bit overkill but I understand it was busy and they just want to make sure everyone is taken care of.
google avatar

Jerry H.

Yelp
The restaurant is clean and has a fun, festive and warm atmosphere. It's conveniently located at LA live. The free chips and salsa with beans is delicious! The filet appetizer was very good although it was over cooked from what we requested. The service was very slow and we did not order cocktail drinks for a full 10 minutes after being seated. Afterwards, the waitress did not check on us much. We also waited a while to ask for a check. The margaritas were ok but some drinks were too sour. The food was ok but not spectacular. The chicken Al gusto with mole and fajitas was a bit over cooked and dry. My group agreed the food was ok, the drinks were ok, and service a bit slow.
google avatar

Hector C.

Yelp
There are wines on the menu they don't carry and for a Mexican restaurant the chile relleno is not very good. The ceviche is awesome along with the chile colorado.
google avatar

Norma R.

Yelp
We decided to have dinner here while attending a concert at Crypto Arena all based on 4.5 stars and pictures! I was excited to have some good drinks and dinner before the concert. We made reservations for 6:00 and immediately were seated! So that was a plus! Server didn't come to our table for drink order until maybe 15 min and this was way before it got busy. A table next to us got up and left and we wondered why they left after not even ordering. We should have followed them out. I ordered the shrimp enchiladas and I have to say I don't know what was in there but I did not taste any shrimp. Perhaps something over powered the shrimp but it was not tasty. The rice and beans were decent. The chips and salsa and bean dip were good. My husband ordered lobster enchiladas and they were just okay. Nothing we would ever crave again. I ordered two drinks. A pineapple margarita that was done after 2-3 sips and cost $18-20. And a coconut margarita. The coconut was good but mostly sugar. I joked with my husband and said we could have eaten at Mastros steakhouse and had yummy drinks and something small to eat for what we paid here and would have been beyond happy. A big martini over there is $20 and they leave the shaker for an extra drink! I would have given this place 3 stars but I would be lying. To top it off the waiter hardly ever came over and we needed refills on water and soda. It was so frustrating that he would disappear and wouldn't come to check on us. We had to flag other workers down.
google avatar

Amy C.

Yelp
The food was good, but the margarita was overly sweet. It's definitely an upscale Mexican restaurant, as the prices were a bit high. However, the service was nice, and I enjoyed watching the sports on the TV while I was there.
google avatar

Jessica N.

Yelp
Our server Chris was very nice and got our orders in quickly. Despite how busy the restaurant was Sunday evening at 5pm, our food came out within 15 minutes. We did have plenty of complementary chips, salsa and bean dip to tide us over in the meantime. I recommend reservations because many people were turned away at the door. We were able to get across the street public parking for $20. The steak plate was room temperature when I got it but at least my steak was cooked properly. an extra sear would've been nice. The corn tortillas were a little too grainy but they were warm. The Mexican rice and beans were decent. The salsa had a bit of a kick to it and was tasty. My mom ordered the crispy chicken tacos and they packed it with a lot of meat which is great. Overall, a nice place to eat before heading into a Lakers game or concert. It was a 5 minute walk to the convention center or 2 min to walk to Peacock Theater.
google avatar

Alex N.

Yelp
We called ahead as we had a group of 20 for a company outing to watch a hockey game which made this restaurant really convenient for us. I can definitely say that the food was top notch as we all ordered something different from the menu. Drinks were great and the beer was cold as it should be. Restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful making sure everyone was taken care of with their food drinks, amazing customer service by everyone. We will definitely be back when in the area.

Yelp
Went here on a date night and never will again. Here's my review. Food: The carnitas are very good. Tender and flavorful. It's strange that the plate comes with sour cream though. It would be great if it was served with lime, cilantro and onion. Had to ask for lime. The cazuela de queso was not very good. It had many ingredients, it was too rich, it tasted like a superbowl cheese dip. Prefer a more traditional queso fundido type. We barely ate any. I was looking forward to the chorizo but the flavor was lost in all the mixture of ingredients. The shrimp taquitos were delicious. The margarita flight was too sweet. I would only recommend the watermelon one as that one was less sweet. Dessert: 3 leches cake. The cake was dense and even with the additional side of milk provided, it was still not moist enough. The worst part about it was that it was warm. I can assume that it was warm because the marshmallows were torched after it was plated but it was really off-putting to have warm 3 leches cake which is traditionally cold. We took it home to refrigerate it so it could be cold and salvaged what we could. The flavor of the milk mixture was delicious and the chocolate whipped topping was amazing. Toasted marshmallows were a great touch. The parts that I could salvage the next day after refrigerating were tasty. Ambiance: I hate, hate, hate whenever dining somewhere and there are fruit flies flying around. I could hardly enjoy my meal as I kept shooing them from my plate. One fly landed on a margarita before I even took a sip and I had to get it replaced. The group of women next to us were extremely loud. Louder than a noisy bar. They were extremely annoying and honestly it ruined my entire dining experience. Please check what concerts are playing nearby when you go because this group was pregaming hard and extremely rowdy. I really wish I hadn't spent $150 on this experience. Between swatting flies and the group next to me being so loud that I could hardly even hear my date speak, i will never return here.

Yelp
The food is delicious. It is the real deal. Just like my mom used to make it. The place is upscale and very nice. It reminds me of Queretaro Mexico. I wish they played Mexican music though I understand this place is in LALive so it kind of fits in with the hip hop and pop music. Food was very good and the price was good for the quality.

Yelp
This was close to our hotel so we walked there. It was nice to sit outside on a beautiful day. the happy hour menu is the best. and portions are perfect for lunch. Enjoyed the chips. So fresh & delicious. My bf enjoyed his lamb & rice. We both agreed the sauce they came with was a tad sweet. But other than that... it was legit good. Nice decor. Staff was great!

Yelp
So we just ate here Sunday and were excited because we had planned to eat at a different spot but it was too full so this was next door. We loved our experience in San Clemente and had actually been meaning to go back so it was cool to try it LA. This experience was just ok. The fish tacos, which I remember really enjoying had this dry rub bitter seasoning which felt like baked on paste in your mouth - instead of refreshing and yummy. I ordered the chicken fajitas and wow they had a kick. I thought they were fine though. My husband and son ordered carnitas and said they were pretty meaty and under seasoned. We took them as leftovers and I made a potato hash with them and we also put the meat in some homemade pho so it worked out. Likely wouldn't return to this location.

Yelp
Located right in the LA live area which made it so convenient for us as we were staying at Hotel Figueroa. I recommend to make reservations if you have a bigger party. Super easy to do online! Seated right away and our server was very helpful and definitely enjoyed working there. It made the experience a lot more fun! It was a Friday night, and there was some tequila sampling. That was a nice surprise. We ordered a bunch of items and probably ordered too much. We were so full. Everything was yummy. Ordered some appetizers like the pulpo, guacamole sampler (yum!), and the bacon wrapped jalapeños! All great! Honestly I wanted to order everything. Everything sounded good. We will definitely be back again.

Yelp
Decided to stop here after a hockey game. We picked this place because we were meeting a friend that has celiac and Mexican is usually the cuisine he can find something to eat. The staff was great about helping him out and assuring his food would be ok. The ambiance is laid back yet trendy at the same time. Very comfortable. We made reservations while we were at the game so didn't have to wait although the wait was only about 20 mins. Service was a tad slow but they were crowded. The chips and salsa and bean dip were great and they had no problem with refills. All of us enjoyed our food. I got the sol agave salad with chicken and no jicama and it was delicious. Everyone said their food was great! It's not super cheap but it's what you'd expect for where it is. I'd go back if we end up over that way again.

Yelp
This place was super cute! They had music playing and it was giving vibes. The noise level was perfect for you to still enjoy a dinner with family. I tried a couple of bites from everyone's food and it was all delicious. I recommend getting the guacamole which comes with 3 different kinds. As my main entree I got the lobster enchiladas which were delicious. The whole experience was good, our service was great. If I'm in the area I'd come back!
